=================== Katorea =================
Kohza gripped the reigns of his horse as he rode through the gates of Katorea, he had pushed his horse had to get back from Nanohana. More than one question had come to his mind after the events with the blonde man and king, Kohza's mind was so distracted he didn't even register his men's words as he leapt off the horse. He strode to the hospital with purpose; none of the men dared approach him, and shoved the doors open. He quickly looked around for Sakura, again ignoring the people trying to talk to him, finding her looking over charts. He pushed past the worried doctors and walked straight to her ready to demand answers.
"You're hurt." Sakura said as she saw Kohza move over to her.
"Enough, I want answers about you and your blonde friend." Kohza said as he glared at her. Sakura however didn't blink; she knew there was a chance Naruto's clone would arouse suspicion.
"Sit, let me examine and treat your wound." Sakura said as she grabbed a pair of gloves. Kohza grabbed her arm and turned her to him.
"Answer me." Kohza said through gritted teeth, only to become shocked when his wrist was twisted and he found himself looking at the ceiling. She kicked out his feet and threw him onto the empty bed while using her free hand to rip his shirt open.
"You will lie down while I look over your wound." Sakura said as she glared down at Kohza. "I will answer your questions while I work as long as you are cooperative." Kohza stared at her for a second, somewhat frightened by her glare and serious voice, before nodding. Sakura gave him a serious nod and went about examining his wound before grabbing some disinfectant and stitches.
"So who was the blonde man?" Kohza finally asked. "He moved just like you and your friends. Plus, it's too much of a coincidence that he suddenly appears around the same time you three do."
"He's our friend and our leader." Sakura said absently. "We are a pirate crew that was hired by Igaram and the king to investigate the people behind Alabasta's problems."
Kohza started to rise and opened his mouth to argue with Sakura but her hand was on his chest holding him down, he was amazed by her strength.
"I know you believe the king is behind this, but trust me there's more at play here than you realize." Sakura said to him.
"A lot more." Both Sakura and Kohza turned to see Naruto's clone appear next to them.
"You!" Kohza again tried to rise but Sakura slammed him back down to the bed.
"Hey Sakura-chan, he good to go?" The clone asked as he pointed at Kohza. "We found the Princess and she's wanting to clear the air with Kohza here."
"Vivi?" Kohza asked somewhat confused.
"I just finished stitching the wound, so he will be fine." Sakura said.
"Alright." The clone said happily. "Come on Kohza-san."
"What the hell is going on?" Kohza yelled as he finally got too frustrated to hold back anymore. "Who are you and why the hell should I go anywhere with you let alone the palace?"
"First off, name's Naruto." The clone replied as it looked down at Kohza. "Secondly, you don't have a choice; I'm taking you to Vivi-chan so you two can talk this whole mess out and stop this war." Kohza started to reply when the clone grabbed hold of him and they were both gone. Sakura let out a sigh before she turned to the men directing weapons at her that were confused by the disappearance.
"Don't worry." Sakura said as she watched the men carefully. "Now, does anyone know what happened in Nanohana that caused him to get injured? Were their more injured?" When all the men looked around and shrugged Sakura let out a sigh. "Fine, I'll go and see myself."
"You can't leave." One of the men said as he stepped forward. "Kohza said to not let you out of our sight and you just kidnapped him, so you're not leaving." His friends all started agreeing.
"If that's your answer then anyone who dies is on your head." Sakura said as she looked at all the men present, many of them paled slightly but the front man for them held his ground.
"It is." The man said but Sakura could hear a small amount of worry in his voice. Sakura nodded but head towards Tenten and Temari, she didn't like the possibility of people being hurt. The two women looked up when Sakura walked up to them.
"What's up Sakura?" Tenten asked her friend.
"Kohza just showed back up injured and his men are keeping me from going and looking to see if more people are." Sakura said quietly as she pulled a chart and acted like she was working.
"So?" Temari asked. "Like they could stop us."
"I don't want to cause problems just because there may be something wrong." Sakura said as she turned to Temari. "I'll make a shadow clone, could one of you go with it?"
"I'll go." Temari said before Tenten could. "Desert travel and weather are easier for me then you Tenten."
"True." The bun haired girl said with a sigh.
"Alright, let's get going." Sakura said to Temari as she walked towards their room.
======================Alubarna ==================
Kohza stumbled as he appeared in a large office; he pushed off of the clone and looked around the room in a panic. He realized he was in the palace, by the décor of the room, and looked around the room to see both familiar faces and new ones. He noticed one man was tied and gaged on the floor with two men watching him. He was surprised when he saw a second Naruto and turned quickly to see the clone still standing next to him.
"Kohza." Vivi said softly as she moved to her old friend. She noticed he moved back slightly and remembered why they were there; she needed to talk things out before she could catch up with her old friend. "I'm glad you could come."
"I didn't have much choice." Kohza said as he turned to the clone.
"Hey, boss said get him here no matter what!" the clone said as it pointed to the original.
"No I didn't." Naruto said to his clone.
"Well you thought it, and therefore I thought it, and knew it was an order, so Ha!" The clone said before it burst into smoke, leaving many people confused.
"Stupid clones." Naruto mumbled to himself.
"Wouldn't that make you stupid as well?" Shikamaru said with a smirk, Naruto shot him a glare which caused all the Konoha Nin to chuckle.
"Kohza, you have to believe me that everything you think my father has done is a lie. The entire country has been tricked by Crocodile." Vivi said as she moved towards Kohza. "He has been playing both you and my father to cause problems in Alabasta to start a war."
"Are you serious? Crocodile? One of the Shichibukai?" Kohza said unbelievingly as he shook his head.
"It's true." Vivi said as she turned and pointed to Mr. 2. "He's one of the agents Crocodile hired to help his plan. He was masquerading as Father."
"Look at his clothes Kohza-san." Naruto said from the wall he was leaning against. Kohza raised an eyebrow and looked at the tied up man, he noticed the man was wearing the same clothes as the ones he saw the king in earlier but wasn't sold on their idea yet.
"So he has on similar clothing as the king." Kohza said with a shrug. "You could have put them on him."
"Please Kohza." Vivi said as she turned back and looked her friend in the eye. "Please believe me, Crocodile is the cause of all our problems."
"Perhaps we should just ask Mr. 2 here nicely to tell you." Shikamaru said as he walked over to the tied up agent and removed the gag. "Now why don't you tell our friend here what's going on."
"I was kidnapped and dressed in this robe that's what happened." Mr. 2 said, while impressed with Lee's strength he knew Crocodile would kill him if he revealed the plans. "Who are you people? Why am I here?"
"Stop lying and tell us where the king is." Chaka said as he walked towards Mr. 2.
"Don't hurt him you bastard!" Kohza said as he moved forward. "I'm not going to let you hurt an innocent man in front of me."
"He's lying Kohza." Igaram said with a stern voice. "He has a Devil Fruit ability and can change his face."
"Prove it." Kohza said with anger, everyone paused and looked at Mr. 2 trying to figure out how to make him use his ability.
"Okay." Naruto said as he rolled up his sleeve and summoned a scroll from one of his seals. He ignored the gasps and opened the scroll looking for the storage seal he wanted.
"What is that?" Mr. 2 asked the question many in the room were thinking.
"Well if you've eaten a Devil Fruit you grow weak from sea water so I'm going to soak you in some." Naruto said, before anyone could ask he activated a seal and water started to flood the room. The Alabasta natives all watched in shock as water came out of the scroll. "There see." Naruto said as he pointed to Mr. 2, Kohza snapped out of his shock and saw that the tied up man had slumped down into the water and looked extremely tired.
"That may prove he has eaten a Devil Fruit but nothing else." Kohza said, still trying to wrap his mind around everything that's happening.
"Kohza please just sit and hear me out." Vivi said as she grabbed the man's arm. "I promise if you hear everything; you will believe me."
Kohza stood still looking for a minute in thought, he wanted to believe Vivi but he couldn't just yet. Looking around the room he saw that Chaka, Pell and Igaram all were waiting with baited breath for his answer. Finally he let out a sigh and nodded his head to Vivi, causing the girl to smile and pull him into a hug.
"I think we'll leave you all alone." Naruto said as he pushed off the wall. "Lee, grab our friend and we'll have a talk about Crocodile." Lee nodded and picked up Mr.2, while the man started to protest.
"If I wasn't going to let the Royal Guard do anything, what makes you think I'll stand by and let someone I don't know." Kohza said as he freed himself from Vivi.
"The king is missing and Crocodile is playing with people's lives, this guy knows his plans." Naruto said, pointing to Mr. 2. "I'm going to find them out no matter what. If you would like to try and stop me please be my guest." Naruto smirked at the man. "But I should warn you, I'm stronger then Sakura." Kohza paused at that and tried his best to stare Naruto down but the blonde just chuckled to himself and continued out of the room, with the other Shinobi behind him.
Naruto and crew all made their way down the halls of the palace towards the rooms reserved for them. Mr. 2 tried to cause a ruckus and was hoping to draw in some of the hidden Baroque agents but after a few seconds of yelling Shikamaru had gaged him again. Soon they came to the rooms and tossed Mr.2 on the ground as Naruto sealed the door and put up a sound barrier.
"Alright Mr.2, were going to have a little conversation." Naruto said as he walked over to Mr.2, who was starting to get worried at the evil grin on the blondes face.
==================== Rainbase ===============
Sai stood in the shadows of the buildings as he watched the fight between Luffy and Crocodile. Sai had followed Luffy and his companion through the underwater tunnels to arrive on the edge of town where Luffy confronted Crocodile. Sai had decided to keep his presence hidden until he needed to intervene, the way the fight was going he suspected he might need to.
Sai would admit that Luffy was a skilled fighter. He could spot a couple blind spots and openings, but Luffy wasn't prepared for a logia user. Crocodile was toying with Luffy, letting hits go unblocked and not attacking back much. Sai made notes on a scroll of the attacks used not only by Crocodile but Luffy as well, while he doubted they would ever become enemies he wouldn't take any chances. Sai looked up when he noticed movement and saw Nico Robin walking towards the green haired pirate; he quickly made a note of the time since he soaked her along with the humidity and temperature for future reference. Robin talked with Luffy's companion while the pirate captain continued his assault of Crocodile; unfortunately Robin had her back to him so he couldn't read her lips.
"AAAAAAHHHHHH!"
"LUFFY!"
Sai looked up as the green haired swordsman screamed. He spotted Luffy suspended in the air and it was obvious Crocodile had impaled him with his hook. Sai began rolling up his scroll as the swordsman rushed towards Crocodile. He watched as arms appeared all over the swordsman restraining his swords, arms and legs. Robin walked to the downed man and looked down at him before heading over to Crocodile, the two then got into waiting carriages pulled by strange creatures and which then raced off.
Sai waited for a few seconds before heading over to the downed pirates, stopping first at the swordsman who was struggling to get out of the arms binding him.
"Stop struggling." Sai said as he stood above the man and pulled his tanto. The swordsman stopped and looked at Sai for a second and then nodded his head, giving permission for Sai to continue. With quick strikes Sai cut all of the arms, watching them dispel in flower like petals.
"Thanks." The pirate said before getting up and moving to Luffy. "Damn." Sai walked over to the fallen pirate and did a quick scan of his injuries.
"We need to get him to a doctor." Sai said as he reached into his pouch and pulled out a tri-kunai, tossing it into the air.
"What are we waiting for?" The swordsman asked as he picked up Luffy and turned towards the town.
"Wait." Sai said turning to the pirate. "I know a doctor that will help."
"Well where are they?" The green haired man asked in annoyance before a flash of yellow appeared next to them.
"Hey Sai what's up?" Naruto asked before looking around and seeing the injured Luffy. "Shit, Crocodile did a number on him."
"I thought it best to take him to Sakura." Sai informed him, Naruto nodded and two clones appeared next to him. Naruto chuckled lightly as the swordsman flinched back at the clones.
"What's your name?" Naruto asked the swordsman.
"Zoro." He said as he looked carefully at Naruto.
"Alright Zoro, my clone here will take Luffy to Sakura-chan while we go back to the palace. Nami-chan is there along with your long- nosed friend, I never did get his name." Naruto said, scratching the back of his head as he finished.
"I think I should stay with Luffy, in case he wakes up." Zoro said, the shinobi could tell he didn't completely trust them.
"Fair enough." Naruto said as he nodded to the clones, they nodded back and placed a hand on Zoro and Luffy. The four men all disappeared. Naruto then turned back to Sai, "What happened?"
"Crocodile completely defeated him." Sai said calmly as he handed Naruto the scroll. "His style is different than Gaara's; he is able to suck the moisture out of things he touches. I'm not sure if his sand can do it or just himself. That seems to be his main strategy in a fight."
"What would you rank them both?" Naruto asked absently as he looked over Sai's notes.
"Luffy would be around a Chunin in strength, but he seems to lack tactics and is somewhat hot headed. He reminds me somewhat of you in your youth." Sai said with a trace of humor. "Crocodile would be at Jounin, he mostly relied on his Devil Fruit ability so I didn't see much of his fighting skills but the fight was very psychological. Luffy-san is very easy to anger."
"Interesting." Naruto said as he rolled up the scroll.
"Will we attempt to follow them?" Sai asked looking towards the tracks Crocodile and Robin left.
"No." Naruto said. "We need to stop his other agents and make sure the men he has planted in the rebellion and army don't try to stir up trouble."
"But what about the king?" Sai asked
"If Luffy is anything like me, he's going to want a rematch." Naruto said with a grin. "Come on, we have things to take care of." Naruto placed a hand on Sai and the two disappeared in a flash.
================= Alubarna ===============
Naruto and Sai appeared in the room with Lee and Choji looking over a tied up Mr.2.
"Hey." Choji said absently. "Shikamaru is with Igaram and Chaka looking over the guards before moving to the army."
"Good, my clones took an injured Luffy and another pirate, Zoro, to Sakura. One will Henge into Kohza and they will ferret out the spies in the rebellion." Naruto said as he walked over to Mr.2. "He give us anything more?"
"No, we know the agents are on the way, but that's it." Choji said as he looked down at the man.
"Shall I have a conversation with him Naruto-kun?" Sai asked as he walked over and stood over the tied up agent.
"Possibly." Naruto said. "See Mr.2 here was kind enough to inform us of some of the plan for attacking the city. He has been quite tight lipped about where the king is though." Sai took a minute to look Mr.2 over and then nodded.
"You seem to take great care of your appearance." Sai said as he pulled out a kunai. "It would be unfortunate too gain a permanent scar."
"Wait!" Mr.2 said as he tried to back up from them. "I swear I wasn't told where Crocodile was going. Please not my beautiful face!"
"Can you tell us what the agents look like, what are their ability's?" Naruto asked.
"Yes I can show you what they look like but I don't know their abilities but I'm almost positive they have all eaten Devil Fruits." Mr.2 told them. He no longer carried about his associates and only wanted to get away with his body intact.
"Sai get a description of all of them and any information you can. I'm going to check in with Sakura." Sai nodded to Naruto while the blonde turned to Choji. "Get up high and keep an eye out for anything." The large man nodded and was gone seconds later in a swirl of leaves. Naruto turned and headed out the door and back to the office he left Vivi and the other in.
As he approached he didn't hear shouting and took that as a good sign. Opening the door he saw Vivi sitting in her father's chair while Kohza stood looking out a window, Nami and her companion sat in chairs near Vivi while Pell leaned against the wall.
"How's it going?" Naruto asked calmly, mostly looking at Pell.
"It's a lot to take in, but I think me and Kohza agree a truce can be made until I can prove what I'm saying." Vivi said as she stood from the desk. "Igaram and Chaka will bring up any of the billions or millions they find to prove we have spies." Naruto nodded and turned to Nami.
"Luffy lost his fight." The pirates and Vivi all gasped but Naruto held his hand up to keep them from speaking. "He's alive and I took him to Sakura, she'll heal him."
"What about Zoro?" Nami asked.
"He watched the fight and was going to attack Crocodile but Nico Robin stopped him." Naruto replied. "He went with Luffy, to keep him calm in case he woke up."
"What about my father?" Vivi asked softly.
"I don't know anything yet but we are preparing to find the other agents." Naruto told the room. "Hopefully one of them will have the answers we seek."
"What is the plan?" Pell asked from the wall.
"The agents have orders to wait outside of Alubarna in case Vivi tries to intercept Kohza." Naruto began as everyone turned to him. "I have Choji watching for them and once we see them we will go and capture them to find out where the king is."
"What about Crocodile?" The long nosed pirate asked.
"From my short interactions with your friend, I feel he's going to want a rematch." Naruto said with a grin as Nami and her companion matched it. "But we'll worry about that later. Kohza," Naruto turned to the man, "We need to go and make sure Crocodiles agents aren't stirring up trouble in the Rebel forces."
"I agree." Kohza said as he walked over to the group and looked at Vivi. "I'll go talk to my men, once you find your father contact me and we will talk everything out." Vivi smiled and launched herself at her old friend, causing him to blush.
"Thank you Kohza." Kohza cleared his throat and gave Vivi a quick hug before she let go and Naruto took hold of him and they vanished.
========= Katorea =============
Sakura sighed as she looked over her latest patient, Luffy, and checked his stitches again. She was curious how Crocodile had caused his body to become almost mummified, but was glad after hooking him to an IV Luffy was quickly returning to normal. Zoro wasn't very helpful and just said he did something with sand, while the clones both didn't see the fight.
"Sakura-chan." Sakura looked up to see Naruto walking towards her.
"Hey, clone?" She asked.
"Real, brought Kohza back to take over calming his men down and check on Luffy." Naruto said as he looked down at the pirate.
"He'll be fine, couple stiches and IV's." Sakura said. "How's everything going?"
"We have defiantly foiled whatever Crocodile's plan was, but we want to capture all his agents so we can find the king." Naruto said as he turned to her.
"I know where they're going." Naruto and Sakura turned to Zoro as he approached. "Miss All Sunday told me they were searching for something in the palace, and if I wanted revenge for Luffy to meet them there."
"That makes sense." Naruto said as he rubbed his chin. "If a war was going on, the palace would be abandoned, and they could move about freely."
"So what do we do?" Sakura asked.
"I'll leave a clone. Once Luffy is awake it will bring him to the palace and he can have his rematch." Naruto turned to Zoro. "With the number of agents and everything going on I could use an extra set off hands."
"As long as I get a shot at Miss All Sunday for stopping me earlier, I'll help." Zoro said as he placed a hand on one of his weapons.
"Fine with me." Naruto said before turning back to Sakura. "Where are Tenten and Temari?"
"Temari went with a clone of mine to Nanohana to check on the injured." Sakura reported. "Tenten should be around here somewhere."
"Bun haired chick?" Zoro asked, getting nods from Naruto and Sakura. "I just ditched her a minute ago. She was trying to look at my swords and asking a million questions."
"Yeah, that's Tenten." Naruto said with a chuckle. "You okay if I take her with us?" He asked Sakura.
"Ya, not much going on here anyway." She replied with a wave if her hand.
"Alright, where did you ditch her at?" Naruto asked Zoro.
"Just outside the building, ducked back in through a window." The swordsman replied while pointing to the exit.
"Come on." Naruto said as he steered the man towards the door. "Oh wait." Naruto paused and a clone popped up. "You know what to do."
"Got it boss." The clone replied with a salute.
"How do you do that?" Zoro asked but only got a chuckle as a reply as Naruto walked away.
================= Alubarna ==================
"Please." Tenten said as she, Naruto and Zoro appeared in the Palace, drawing attention to themselves.
"No." Zoro replied as he held onto his swords.
"Aw come on, I won't hurt them." Tenten said as she pouted and tried to reach for a sword.
"Back off." Zoro barked as he slapped her hand away.
"Chill out Tenten, geez." Naruto said as he rolled his eyes.
"Zoro!" A chorus of voices called out, causing the small fight between Zoro and Tenten to die.
"How's Luffy?" Nami asked.
"He'll be alright and ready to take down Crocodile soon." Zoro replied with a grin.
"How bad was it?" Vivi asked from behind Nami, Zoro didn't answer and looked off to the side.
"Good news Vivi-chan." Naruto said, shifting everyone's attention. "Zoro-san here says Crocodile is going to bring your father here. He's apparently looking for something in the palace."
"What could he want here?" Vivi said as she turned to Pell, who shrugged.
"I have no idea. We don't have anything of that great of value in the palace." Pell said.
"Whatever it is doesn't matter." Naruto said. "What matters is getting him back safely. Sai," Naruto turned to the pale shinobi. "Do you have all the information?'
"Yes." Sai replied and pulled out several packs of paper. "Here are their portraits and codenames." He passed around the packets to everyone.
"Where were they supposed to link up?" Naruto asked as he looked over the portraits.
"By the West Gate, that is where they figured Vivi and company would enter from. Going by distance I would say we have one hour before they are in their position." Sai replied.
"Alright." Naruto said before turning to Vivi. "I think it would be best if you let us handle them, no offense to your guards."
"After seeing you at Rain Dinners I think I have to agree." Vivi said while placing a hand on Pell to keep him from speaking.
"Sai will stay with you for extra protection." Naruto said while turning to his teammate and receiving a confirming nod. "Lee, go get Choji and Shikamaru, I'll watch this guy." Naruto said as he pointed to Mr.2.
"Yosh!" Lee replied before dashing out of the room.
"What about me?" Zoro said stepping forward, Naruto could see he was itching for a fight.
"Stay with Vivi, Robin will most likely stay with Crocodile." Zoro nodded to Naruto as the blonde turned to Sai. "Stay in the shadows and when you see the king your job is to secure him."
"Understood." Sai said before he pulled off his pouch and began checking it.
"What's the plan Naruto?" Tenten said as she finished looking over the packet.
"Sai will stay with Vivi and Shikamaru with Mr.2 here, to help find the spies. Meanwhile you, me, Lee and Choji will go and take care of these other agents." Naruto said to her while carefully watching Mr.2 for any signs.
"Sounds good." Tenten said. "It says they all possibly have Devil Fruit powers so we just going to hit them with your new scrolls and tie them up?"
"Actually Sai already proved they work so I think it would be good for all of us to fight these out." Naruto said casually.
"But Naruto-san." Vivi said as she grabbed his arm. "These are powerful people I don't think you should play around."
"It'll be okay Vivi-chan, we will win but I think we all could use the exercise and experience." Naruto said as he patted her head, causing Vivi to blush slightly.
"Well Lee will like that." Tenten said but everyone could see the glee in her eyes. "Who gets who?"
"Will figure that out when we find them." Naruto said with a shrug, getting a sigh but nod of the head from Tenten. She just hoped they would get a good fight out of this and she could redeem herself for her pathetic performance against the Firetank's.
============== West Gate, Alubarna =====================
"Where the hell is Mr.2?" Asked Miss Merry Christmas, she was a stout, middle-aged woman with red hair wearing a necktie that resembles a Christmas tree. She had a large pair of purple-lensed sunglasses on and a basket strapped to her back.
"I'm not sure." Replied Miss New Year's Eve, a slim woman of average height with curly dark-blue hair, thick lips, dark green eyes, pale skin and a curvaceous figure. She wore a revealing and dark brown in color long-sleeved jacket with beige colored fur brims, a bikini top describing an unusual spider web-like pattern across her abdominal area, low-riding pants, and platform sandals. "He never linked up with us after the assignment at Nanohana."
"Dddddddooooooo….yyyyyyyyyoooooouuuuu….." Started Mr.4, a tall and fat man with big lips, dirty blonde hair. He wore a green shirt that covers most of his body with black pants and gray running shoes.
"Speak faster you moron!" Screeched Miss Merry Christmas as she whacked Mr.4.
"I think he wants to know if we believe Mr.2 was captured." Cut in Mr. 1, a tanned man with long, thin limbs and fingers. He is tall and very muscular and his head is shaven. His most striking feature is probably the black unibrow, right over his round eyes. He has big lips and the archaic Japanese symbol of the number 1 tattooed on his torso. He was wearing an oriental-looking attire consisting of a sleeveless dark coat with golden edges and white motifs on the front, over very loose beige pants held up by a white sash around the waist, with some light brown fur sprouting from it. His pants were tucked inside some bandages wrapped around his calves and in part around his shoes. "And my answer is no, despite his attitude he is a skilled fighter."
"I agree, the okama probably just forgot where to go and ran here." Miss New Year's Eve said. "He can get his punishment from Crocodile later."
"Everyone freeze." The four numbers agents all turned to see a small team of eight men in Alabasta guard uniforms approaching. "Who are you?"
"It seems we were discovered." Mr.1 said as he stood up straight and flexed his hands.
"Surrender and come with us to the palace peacefully." The lead guard said.
"And if we don't?" Miss New Year's Eve asked.
"We will take you by force." The men all drew their swords and stood ready to attack.
"Come then." Mr.1 said as all the agents stood relaxed and unafraid.
With a battle yell all the men broke into pairs and charged the four targets. Mr.1 opened his hands and swiped his palms at the men, he was shocked when they turned to smoke after his strike.
Miss New Year's Eve pointed her fingers at her opponents and they stretched, becoming pointed like spikes, and stabbed her opponents. Her eyes widened as they too went up in smoke.
Mr.4 reached behind his back and pulled out a large metal bat, swinging it and catching both his targets, only for them to dispel into smoke.
Miss Merry Christmas started to change into a hybrid form of a human and mole, giving her long claws. She swiped at both her men and was startled when they turned to smoke after she slashed them.
"Well?" Tenten asked as she, Lee, Choji and Naruto stood some distance away from the agents.
"Mr.1 seems to be able to turn his hand into blades, New Years can turn her fingers to spikes and extend them, Christmas is like that Captain we first came across and can turn to a mole." Naruto said with his eyes closed, sorting through his clones memories. "Mr.4 showed no abilities but that bat was pure metal so he's probably pretty strong."
"What is the plan then Naruto-kun?" Lee asked excited at the thought of a fight.
"Since they fight in pairs Tenten and I will take Mr.1 and Miss New Year's Eve." Naruto said as he opened his eyes and looked at Tenten. "You fight New Year's, see if those spikes have a range and then hit her from a far." Tenten grinned and nodded, already forming a plan in her mind. "Since Mr.4 is an unknown you two play it defensively. When you have an opening take it." Choji nodded while Lee gave his patented smile.
"Fear not Naruto-kun, our combined youth shall win the day." Tenten let out a sigh and shook her head at her teammate.
"Alright let's go." Naruto said with a chuckle, all four quickly disappeared from sight, leaving only trails of leaves behind.
"What the hell just happened?" Miss Merry Christmas yelled as she looked around at her fellow agents and saw they too looked confused.
"I don't know." Miss New Year's Eve replied. "Perhaps some kind of Devil Fruit ability?" She looked to Mr.1 for confirmation but he stood calmly to the side. "It doesn't matter, they're gone now."
"But not forgotten." All the agents turned at the new voice and saw the four shinobi, Naruto in the front. "Now can you tell us where King Cobra is?"
"Who are you?" Miss New Year's Eve asked.
"We're the ones who captured your friend Mr.2." Naruto replied, shocking the two females but getting no reaction from the men, "Oh, and stopped Crocodiles plot to start a war."
"How do you know about that?" Miss Merry Christmas asked loudly.
"I know a lot of things." Naruto replied with a fox like grin. "Like the fact Vivi-chan is already in the palace and has talked to Kohza, that's the rebel leader in case you didn't know. They came to an agreement and the rebellion is on hold for now."
"It seems Crocodile's plans have failed." Mr.1 said while scanning the group of shinobi.
"Yes, yes it has." Naruto said as he nodded his head. "Now I'll ask again, where is the King?"
"You don't know?" Miss New Year's Eve asked with a smirk. "Then it would be in our favor not to tell you, after all we can hold him hostage for a lot of money."
"Yes you could." Naruto replied as he crossed his arms over his chest and nodded. "But to do that, you would have to escape and go to him, something I'm not going to let happen."
"You think the four of you can stop us." Miss merry Christmas asked while laughing.
"There's only one way to find out." Naruto said as his face lost all humor, the agents all felt a small shiver go down their spines as his blue eyes seemed to turn to ice.
I hope everyone liked that chapter, I know the last two were not very action packed but the next one and most likely the one after that will cover you needs for violence. I've had my poll up for a while and it seems the idea of shinobi with devil fruits is good depending on who. If I decide to do it only Lee will eat a fruit, I always felt he deserved a little extra something for all his hard work. So let me hear what you think about that and if you have ideas for a fruit I will be happy to look them over, I have not decided on one yet.
