The next night, after Orton's failed title shot, Hunter sat in his office, and as Orton brought the partial footage from the disc that he had recovered, Hunter looked at the footage in amazement. He had no clue the two were in any sort of relationship, he just thought they were good friends. Although he was glad his friend had found someone, he had to deal with Randy. He stood, pulling the disc from the drive and smashing it against the table, snapping it in two. He could tell by the way Orton gasped that that was the only copy. Hunter snarled. "You try to blackmail another competitor to get them fired, and you will be. I will push you so far down into Superstars before I fire you that no one will remember the Orton name."

Orton slinked from Hunter's office with a look of shame, not noticing that hunter had gotten on the phone to call his wife, one of the owners of the wwe. No matter how much shit the IWC gave Sheamus for being friends with Hunter, the friendship more than likely saved his career then. Through the years, Sheamus had been real positive influence in Hunter's life. When he fought with Stephanie, and needed to vent, Sheamus was there to listen, sometimes telling him he was wrong, other rimes telling him how to get her to see he was right. They stood by each other no matter what, Sheamus had his back throughout the years, so now it was time for Hunter to return the favor.

A mere two weeks later, Orton had transitioned to the main event show, and the titles swapped between Sheamus and Reigns, so that Reigns was now the WHC, and Sheamus was the WWE champion. Hunter would keep a close eye on Orton, to be sure he didn't try this was livid. When Orton told him what he had done to get the transfer, however, some of that anger dissipated. It transitioned into a state of confusion and disbelief, as Cody thought about how happy Sheamus and Reigns were together, then just stood there with his hands akimbo, shaking his head. Why he suffered Orton's maniacal schemes all this time he never knew. He walked outside, looking up at the stars to think.

Sheamus lay in the bed quietly stroking Reign's hair down his back as he slept, thinking of how destroyed he would be if he had lost his one true love. A deep sense of panic rose in his chest, and tears threatened to spill from his eyes again. He clutched reigns gently, as if he feared he would wake and realize that he had reached out and been too late, and that the pleasant weight of his beloved was a creation of his own fractured mind. As he blinked back tears, a thought occurred to him, one that made him smile. Reigns awoke and nuzzled into Sheamus's traps with a grin. "Good morning, sweetheart." He mumbled, clutching the sheets beside him.

"Ah, me world has awakened. Any morning waking up with ya is a good one, luv."

And they rose, heading out into the day's media appearances. Sheamus had decided that they should talk later. They went about their ordinary media appearances, and after that long day, Sheamus remembered that he wanted to talk to Reigns about their futures.

Sheamus took a deep breath. He knew there would be no going back if he decided to say this to Reigns. He brushed his love's hair with his thumb gently, and Reigns looked at him with concern, knowing that this gesture showed when he was worried about something.

"What's wrong?"

Sheamus sighed, feeling the tears well in his eyes. " I was just thinking about what happened at the radio station. What would happen if I wasn't there next time."

Reign's expression changed from concern to grief. "Ah thought about how Ah would have ta lie for the rest of me life, telling everyone and meself that we were just friends, facing meself every day in the mirror knowing Ah was too much of a coward to proclaim how ah felt about ya. That Ah let me family, me friends, or anything else get in the way of us. " he kissed Reigns on the forehead sweetly as the tears rolled down his cheeks.

"Ah know this isn't my own decision ta make alone, but Ah want ya to know that Ah want ta stop lying ta everyone. Ya make me tha happiest man on the planet, love."

Reigns' first thought was the way his father had treated one of their cousins when he had come out of the closet. He had disowned him. The entire family was ordered never to speak his name, until he admitted that he was straight. The cousin in question had only lasted a week of the cold shoulder from his family before suffering a panic attack. Reigns worried about his future, about his family, about his life. This worry showed through on his face.

"If we are going to do this, we might as well kiss our titles goodbye. You know how bad corporate was when Darren came out. They all but cried for his head on a stick. The conservative businessmen that run this company would kill us, or at least knock us down to the midcard for the rest of out lives. What about our families? You make me the happiest man on the planet as well, but I don't want to be the reason you have to be persecuted. I would rather be happy with you in private than expose you to an unforgiving world of hurt. But if that is what you want, I-" the thought of his family's reaction to his news made a slight chill run down his spine.

Sheamus started to say something, then he had an idea. He grabbed his laptop. "How about we compromise? We could make a video."

"Mmmm… What kind of video?"

Sheamus chuckled. "A video to show at our funerals. If I die first, you show it at mine, if you die first, I show it at yours."

"And if we die together?"

"Then there is no need for explanation, unless ya wish it."

"And what would this video say?"

"Basically, just us being honest about how we feel about each other, and telling the world why we decided to keep it a secret. We could even do a video diary starting today, talking about our relationship starting the day we met, that way if ya ever want ta hear my voice after Ah'm gone, ya can."

"We should start today, while we are still champions. But I was thinking we could christen this idea with a different kind of video."

Sheamus chuckled and pulled Reigns onto the bed.
