"I love you," I sighed. It felt so good to finally say that. After all of the waiting, I could say it now. "I really do love you."
"I love you too, I miss you as well." Robin added.
"Really?" I asked, my stomach felt strange when she said that. "I really miss you too, Robin." In response, Robin's hair turned purple. I smiled and turned my hair purple too.
Robin ruffled her white jacket as she lay on the snow outside the castle. I lay next to her, even though I was starting to shiver. We looked at each other and smiled.
"Robin, I'm leaving tomorrow, I'm going to Lily's house for Christmas. Will you be there too?"
"If you want me to be." Robin smiled.
"I do."
"Then I'll be there."
"Thank you," I whispered as I felt my cheeks become wet and warmer with my tears.

"Tell me again why we're going to The Burrow on Christmas Eve?" Albus complained as his mother tried to pat down his hair.
"Because we're going to the Ministry of Magic for a Christmas party tomorrow." Ginny sighed, giving up on Albus' hair. "Your Grandma wants us to have a Christmas meal together, even if it is a day earlier."
"But it's not the same," Lily pointed out. "It's not actually Christmas."
"Just go along with it, please."
"Fine," Lily sighed.
We all stood at the fireplace in the Potter's home. Scorpius had to go home so that he could get dress robes for the Ministry party tomorrow, but due to Grandma Molly pleading with Draco, he let Scorpius stay for dinner. He was going to meet us there and leave after and meet us at the party tomorrow.
Dating Scorpius had been amazing so far. He was so different. Before, he was just my best friend, but now, now he was my adorable, sweet, caring and loving boyfriend.
"Ready to go, Potters?" Harry asked us, "And Munro." He added looking at me. We responded with a mixture of yes' and yeahs. Harry took a bit of Floo Powder and disappeared in the flames.
~O~O~
"Happy Christmas!" Grandma Molly shouted and she rushed forward and pulled James, Albus, Lily and myself into a hug.
"It's, not Christmas, yet!" Albus struggled to say.
"Oh, shush," Grandma Molly said as she let us go. "It counts."
"Where's Scorpius?" I asked.
"He's in the living room, pet. With Fred and Roxy." She smiled and walked to the kitchen work top. I rushed through to the living room and stood by the door. Scorpius was standing with his back to me, and was facing Fred. Fred stopped talking and smiled then nodded towards me. Scorpius turned around and spotted me. He smiled and stepped forward and hugged me. I could feel his face touch my neck through my long dark brown hair. His ear was cold against my cheek.
"Get a room!" Albus laughed as he walked past us.
"Your room will do," I smirked as it shut him up. "Where're everyone else?" I asked Roxy as Scorpius and I let go of each other.
"Everyone are on their way," She said then looked out of the window "Actually, Frankie and Alice are here now." She smiled and rushed out of the room to meet Frankie.
~O~O~
All through dinner Rose gave me evil looks. I smiled sweetly to her knowing it would annoy her. Fred was a bit annoyed at that Grandma Molly didn't let him take Shelley to dinner, but he didn't mope for long because pudding came out.
"Are you singing tomorrow, Alex?" Aunt Fleur asked me with a smile as we ate.
"Yes, in fact, Frankie's helping me with it," I smiled.
"Are you singing tonight?" Alice asked me.
"Well," I trailed. "Yes."
"After dinner though, Alice." Professor Longbottom said before Alice could ask if we could throw dinner away just so Frankie and I could sing.
"Right," I agreed.
After dinner the adults but away the plates and cutlery from the table. The rest of us went upstairs to our hang out room. Well, all of us apart form Rose, she decided she would help the adults.
Scorpius sat on one of the sofas in the hang out room, I curled up next to him. He reached over and held my hand, our fingers entwined with each other's. I looked up to him and we smiled at the smile time. Scorpius leaded forward slightly so our foreheads were touching.
Everyone else were talking to each other, but Scorpius and I seemed to be in a bubble of our own. Not speaking, not doing anything, but holding hands and looking into each other's eyes.
We'd been staring at each other for so long, I could point out the small specks on pale blue in his grey eyes. I didn't know what colour mine were, but Scorpius gave me a small smile and I could see in the reflection of his eyes, that mine mimicked his.
"Come down, you lot!" Uncle George's voice echoed up the stairs and into the room. We all stopped what we were doing and stood up and made our way down the stairs, Scorpius never let go of my hand.
When we got into the living room there were two stools and my guitar. I sat on one of the stools and Frankie sat on the other. I picked up my guitar, I gave it a small strum and other music played.
"You installed the speakers," Roxy smiled to Grandpa Arthur.
"You forced me to," he laughed.
I laughed and started to strum again, this time the music continued as I played.
(A/N: There are a few versions of this song; I was going for the Lady Antebellum one)
L: "Have a holly jolly Christmas
It's the best time of the year
I don't know if there'll be snow
But have a cup of cheer"
L&F: "Have a holly jolly Christmas
And when you walk down the street
Say hello to friends you know
And everyone you meet" By this point a wide smile had formed across both of our faces.
"Oh ho the mistletoe
Hung where you can see
Somebody waits for you"
L: "Kiss him once for me"
L&F: "Have a holly jolly Christmas
And in case you didn't hear
Uh by golly have a holly jolly
Christmas this year"
In the music break Frankie snapped his fingers to the beat of the tune.
L&F: "Oh ho the mistletoe
Hung where you can see
Somebody waits for you"
L: "Kiss him once for me"
L&F: "Have a holly jolly Christmas
And in case you didn't hear
Oh by golly have a holly jolly
Christmas this year
"Santa Claus is coming to town"
"Oh, that was brilliant!" Grandma Molly gushed.
"Thanks," Frankie and me said at the same time.
"Are you singing that tomorrow?" Aunt Audrey asked.
"No," Frankie answered.
"Something better," I smiled.
"What's better than sitting on stools?" Rose asked sarcastically. Aunt Hermione gave her a glare.
"A little acting," I answered, pretending I didn't hear the sarcasm dripping from her words.
~O~O~
"Happy Christmas!" Lily shouted as she ran into my room, like the previous year, I was already up and dressed. I wore dark denim skinny jeans and a red and black checker shirt that was far too big for me. My sleeves were rolled up to my elbows and my black hair fell to the same length. "Festive," Lily smirked sarcastically.
"That's what I thought," I laughed. Lily wore scruffy jeans and her L jumper from Grandma Molly, probably a new one for this year.
"Coming down stairs?"
"Yeah," I smiled and followed her as we ran down into the sitting room where the boys were. "Merry Christmas."
"You too," James smiled.
"Excited for tonight?" Albus asked us all. Lily and James answered yes, but I didn't. "Why not?"
"We're acting," I sighed. "I meant it yesterday, we're not sitting on stools, or just standing. We're moving about and acting. I'm not playing my guitar, they have a band."
"You'll be fine."
"You'll be fine," Lily smiled as she nudged me.
"Thanks," I said to Lily and the voice.
~O~O~
"Are you sure I look okay?" I asked Lily as I looked down at my dress. I wore a black dress that went to just above my knees, it had short sleeves and a thin black belt. There was an over layer of patterned lace. My hair was straight and very soft. My blonde hair fell to the bottom of my ribs. On my feet were black velvet pumps.
"Yes, you are beautiful. Me?" She asked. She wore a cream dress that flowed from her waist to just above her knees, the top was fitted with no sleeves. There was a black strip around the waist and black flowery netting coming up from the waist. Lily also had black velvet pumps on.
"You both look lovely." A voice said from the door. We both turned around and leaning against Lily's door frame stood James, his hair was slightly tamed and he looked very smart in his dress robes. "C'mon, give us a twirl." He smirked. Lily and I swirled at the same time, we looked at him for approval. "Beautiful."
"Jamsie!" Albus called from the corridor. "What's the plan for tonight?"
"Plan?" Lily asked poking her head out of the door to look at him.
"L-Lily! Oh, um, no plan." He said with a panic.
"What plan?" I asked as I stepped into view.
"We, um, just, it's, uh…" Albus trailed. "James?"
"We're wingmen." James explained.
"Wingmen?" Lily asked.
"You're trying to get girls for each other," I laughed.
"Might get Hugo in it too." Albus suggested to James who responded with a nod.
"Hurry up you four!" Ginny shouted up the stairs.
"Coming!" James shouted down. "Shall we?" James asked me with his arm out for me to take it.
"We shall." I smiled as I took his arm and we walked down the stairs together, Lily and Albus behind us.
Ginny and Harry both stood in the living room in their dress robes. Ginny looked elegant and beautiful in her dress robes – perfect for a dinner at the Ministry.
"Hurry up, or we'll be the last ones there!" Harry laughed.
"Ready to go," Lily and I chorused.
~O~O~
We weren't the last ones to get to the Ministry, but we certainly weren't the first. There were people swarmed around tables, chatting to each other. Some were already sitting at their set tables. The tables were set out in a large room. I wasn't used to seeing the Ministry so I was amazed at the details of the walls and ceiling. We followed Harry and Ginny through the round tables. When we stopped, we saw Grandma Molly and Grandpa Arthur sitting at one of the tables. We greeted them warmly.
"I think the children are around that table." A waiter said to us. We looked past him to see an empty table.
I walked up to the table, in the middle there were flowers on every table, and a small floating card that had fancy writing on it. The words read, 'The Potter, Weasley and Longbottom Children'.
"So you, Scorpius and Shelley don't get to sit with us I guess." James said looking over my shoulder.
"Guess not." I laughed looking up to him.
"Dad, can you sort this out?" James asked Harry. Harry gave him a small nod.
"Maybe I was only invited as entertainment." I laughed.
"Don't be silly." Albus laughed. But even though I wasn't being serious, I started to genuinely think I was just invited to sing. Where was I going to sit?
Lily, James and Albus all sat down at the table and I took a few steps back awkwardly. This wasn't my table, I couldn't sit at it.
"You look beautiful." A voice whispered in my ear. I recognised who it was straight away. A smile grew across my face as I felt a hand come around each side of my waist. My head leaned against Scorpius' as he hugged me.
"Thank you," I whispered. I turned around to see him. He looked handsome in his dress robes.
"Why aren't you sitting down?" He asked me.
"I, um, I don't have a seat." I said quietly.
"But there's loads around the table." Scorpius said with a confused tone.
"It says it's only for the Potter, Weasley and Longbottom children. I'm not any of them." I explained. "I think Harry has gone to see where I'm supposed to go."
"You can always sit with my family, they've been asking a lot about you." Scorpius smirked. His arm was around my waist as he gently pulled me closer.
"That sounds very scary." I admitted.
"You faced your Father and you think meeting my family is scary?" He laughed.
"Yeah, kinda."
"You're adorable." Scorpius smiled. He kissed my lips lightly – I couldn't help but smile.
"Scorpius, let go of the girl." I heard a man laugh from behind me. I turned around to see Draco and a woman on his arm.
"Yes, Gran." Scorpius smiled, although he kept his arm around the back of my waist as I stood next to him.
"Hello, I am Narcissa Malfoy." The woman said. "Scorpius' Grandmother and Draco's Mother."
"Hi, I'm L-, um, I'm Alexandria Munro." I smiled awkwardly.
"Very nice to meet you, Alexandria." Narcissa Malfoy said to me. I winced slightly as she said my name. I could see out of the corner of my eye Scorpius watching me.
"Don't call her Alexandria." He said smoothly to his Grandmother.
"What should I call her?" She asked him with a warning glare.
"Well, we call her Lexy, the adults call her Alex."
"A-Alexandria is f-fine." I stuttered.
"Thank you, Alexandria." Narcissa smiled. "Draco, let's go back to the table, Astoria will be getting lonely."
"Isn't Grandpa here?" Scorpius asked.
"No," Draco answered.
"Your Grandfather doesn't like coming to the Ministry." Narcissa told him. "Alexandria," She said looking at me. "You should get that stutter of yours sorted out."
When they left I looked around to Scorpius, his face was plain and slightly annoyed.
"Are you okay?" I asked him.
"Are you okay is a better question."
"What?"
"What she said about your stutter."
"It's fine," I smiled, I gave him a quick kiss on the cheek and smiled at him. "But thank you."
~O~O~
Harry got my seating sorted. Harry said they were going to have me sit with strangers, but he told them he wouldn't have that. Being the Head Auror has its perks I guess.
The dinner didn't start until half an hour later. But before it started the rest of the family joined us. Roxy looked gorgeous in a dark blue flowing dress. It stopped above her knee and had average sized straps. The corset was tight fitting. Roxy's dark hair was in a high pony tail with a high volume top. She had three inch heels, also in dark blue.
Shelley also looked gorgeous, as did Lucy. I didn't notice the others, frankly, I didn't care.
From where I sat during dinner, I could see Scorpius through the crowd of tables. We kept catching each other's eyes, but he was getting told off for it from his Grandmother, or what looked like he was getting told off, I was too far away to hear.
"You'll be fine."
I gave a jump when I heard Robin's voice. She stood behind Lucy at the opposite side of the table to me. She was in a summer dress and her blonde hair was up high.
'What are you doing here?' I mouthed to her.
"You wanted me here." She laughed as she rested her hand on her hip.
'Not now though.'
"Why not?"
"Are you okay, Lexy?" Lucy asked me. I looked down from Robin to Lucy.
"Y-yeah."
"You sure?" Roxy asked cautiously.
"Yes," I said quickly. They both shared a glance but I didn't notice because I was looking around the room for Robin. She was gone.
~O~O~
As the plates disappeared from the tables, everyone stood up to move towards the dance floor at the other end of the room. A stage had appeared and instruments were placed about the stage.
Lily, Lucy, Roxy and I rushed out to the toilets so we could touch up our make-up and hair with Ginny's bag. I took quicker than the girls due to being able to fix my hair with a blink. I looked into Ginny's bag and saw that there was a lot more things in there than it should be able to fit.
"Aunt Hermione likes to use her talents whenever she can." Roxy laughed seeing the look on my face.
"Ooh," I said, pretending I knew what she was talking about. I put my hand in the bag and fished around for a pair of red three inch heels and a dress. I locked myself into a cubicle and changed into the dress. It was a velvety red, it flowed to my knees and the corset was tightly fitted, a strap held the dress up around my neck. I changed into my heels and felt my back straighten and my posture becoming a lot better. When I put my flats I Ginny's bag I pulled out a coat that belonged to James, then I pulled out a Santa hat. Lastly I tied a strap around my thigh that could hold my wand in it without having to use a pocket I didn't actually have.
When I stepped out of the cubicle the girls gave me strange looks.
"Why have you changed, and why do you have a jacket and a hat?" Lucy asked.
"It's for the song." I waved off.
"Frankie won't tell me what you're singing." Roxy complained.
"You'll see soon, we're singing soon." I laughed, "Oh, no. we're singing soon." I said with a downed tone.
"Just take a deep breath." Lily smiled. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, when I breathed out I opened my eyes.
"Didn't help, Lils." I sighed.
~O~O~
Most of the guested we're dancing to the band when we left the toilets. We walked back to the table and gave Ginny's bag back to her. All the boys apart from Fred, James and Albus were at the other table, they were probably dancing with girls. After I gave Ginny her bag I handed the jacket to Frankie. He nodded and took it from me.
"Seriously," Roxy sighed as she walked towards Frankie. "What are you two singing?" Frankie wrapped an arm around her waist and kissed her on the mouth.
"You'll see," he smirked. "I better get going, set stuff up." He said looking at me.
"Be there in a minute." I nodded.
"Good luck," Scorpius smiled to me and then kissed me in the lips.
I kissed him back then rushed off to the stage.
A curtain had fallen to hide the band and the stage. When I got to on the stage there was a sofa and next to it was a small table with two wine glasses and a bottle of what was once alcohol but was probably now pumpkin juice. There was also a coat stand with the coat I'd given Frankie hung on it. Next to the coat stand there was a door frame and a door at an angle so the audience would be able to see it. Behind it all was the band. Frankie sat on the sofa in his spot that we'd rehearsed.
The nerves suddenly hit me harder when I saw the stage. I shook my head slightly and put on the Santa hat so that it looked adorable. I walked over to Frankie and smiled.
"Ready?" I asked him.
"Yep, you?" He said nervously.
"Uh-huh."
"Nervous?"
"Uh-huh."
Frankie laughed in response. I sat down in my spot. Frankie and I were both sitting at an angle facing each other.
"Ladies and gentlemen," we heard someone say on the other side of the curtain. "After that short interval, we are ready to continue with the music. So may I welcome, Lexy and Frankie!"
When the curtain came up we were greeted with cheers and very bright lights in our eyes. We both smiled at the cheers and the band started to play.
(A/N: Again, there are a few versions of this song, so again, I'm going with the Lady Antebellum version.)
L: "I really can't stay" I sang looking into Frankie's eyes.
F: "Baby, it's cold outside" He sung looking into my eyes.
L: "I've gotta go away"
F: "Baby, it's cold outside"
L: "This evening has been"
F: "Been hoping that you'd drop in"
L: "So very nice" Frankie took my hands in his.
F: "I'll hold your hands, they're just like ice"
L: "My mother will start to worry" I sung as I stood up and turned towards the door at the end of the stage.
F: "Beautiful, what's your hurry?" I started to walk with the slow beat towards the door. I trailed the top of my feet as I walked.
L: "My father will be pacing the floor"
F: "Just listen to that fireplace roar" Frankie sung as he caught up to me and put an arm around my waist pulling me closer to the sofa.
L: "Now really I'd better scurry"
F: "Sweetheart, what's your hurry?"
L: "Well, maybe just a half a drink more" I sung rolling my eyes.
F: "Why don't you put some records on while I pour?" Frankie poured the juice into a glass and hanged it to me.
L: "The neighbors might think" I sung then took a sip.
F: "Baby, it's bad out there"
L: "Say, what's in this drink?" I handed the glass back to him which he set down.
F: "No cabs to be had out there"
L: "I wish I knew how" I sung looking out to the audience.
F: "Your eyes are like starlight now" He sung to me.
L: "To break this spell" I took out my wand which made the audience laugh.
F: "I'll take your hat, your hair looks swell" Frankie took off my Santa hat and I put my wand away and turned to him as he threw the hat onto the sofa behind him.
L: "I oughta say 'no, no, no sir'" I sat shaking my index finger and stepping towards him to the beat. He stepped back at the same time.
F: "Mind if I move in closer?" He sung as we stopped stepping.
L: "At least I'm gonna say that I tried" I said looing half at him, half at the audience.
F: "What's the sense in hurting my pride?" He sung with his hand on his heart.
L: "I really can't stay" I sung then turned around and took a large step to which Frankie stepped at the same time.
F: "Baby, don't hold out!" He sung as he wrapped his arms around my waist from behind and we sung out to the audience.
L&F: "Oh, but it's cold outside" In the small instrumental break, I released myself from Frankie and he held my hand above my head and gave me an elegant twirl.
L: "I simply must go" I sung stepping closer to the door.
F: "Baby, it's cold outside" He sung facing me.
L: "The answer is no" I said turning sharply to him.
F: "But baby, it's cold outside"
L: "This welcome has been"
F: "So lucky that you dropped in"
L: "So nice and warm"
F: "Look out that window at that storm" He indicated to an imaginary window, I followed his indication.
L: "My sister will be suspicious" I looked back to him.
F: "Gosh, your lips look delicious" He sung reaching his hand furthest away from the audience to my face.
L: "And my brother will be there at the door" I sung stepping back away from his hand.
F: "Waves upon a tropical shore"
L: "My maiden aunt's mind is vicious"
F: "Ooh, baby you're so delicious"
L: "Maybe just one little kiss more" I sung stepping towards him.
F: "Never such a blizzard before"
L: "Oh, I gotta go home" I sung as I turned and got to the door.
F: "You'll freeze to the bone out there" He sung as he stood next to me.
L: "Hey, lend me your coat" I sung picking up the coat from the coat stand.
F: "It's up to your knees out there" He said taking the coat off me.
L: "You've really been grand" I sung as I grabbed his hand.
F: "I thrill when you touch my hand"
L: "But don't you see?"
F: "How can you do this thing to me?" He sung as he turned and followed me walking closer into the 'room'.
L: "There's bound to be talk tomorrow" I sung not looking at him.
F: "Making my lifelong sorrow" He sung as he stepped forward slowly.
L: "At least there will be plenty implied" I smirked.
F: "If you caught pneumonia and died"
L: "I really can't stay" I turned to him and stepped closer so we were almost touching.
F: "Get over that old out" He put his arms quickly around my waist and I put my arm furthest away from the audience around his neck.
L&F: "Baby, it's cold outside" Our foreheads touched as we stopped singing.
When the music stopped we looked like we were close enough to kiss. We started laughing and gave each other a huge hug. The audience cheered for us, possibly louder than any other time. We were both smiling like fools.
'What a lovely Christmas.' The voice said softly.
