I couldn't resist ending the chapter there so I'm just going into chapter twenty six as Hidan vs well you'll find out in a moment

Chapter 26

"YEEEHHAAAAWWWWW" Hidan couldn't resist shouting as he beheaded another leaf ninja Hidan turned running alongside a canal he stopped to catch his breath

"Man I wonder if Taang found the seven tails yet" he wondered aloud before the genocidal immortal spun his scythe placing it across his shoulder "meh I'll offer a few more to lord jashin then I'll find her myself" he decided

Hidan was about to get moving again when a long pink tongue flew out of the water towards him Hidan blocked with his scythe but the tongue still sent him sliding across the ground

"What the hell" Hidan asked as the tongue retreated into the water "who did that"

Drum music began to play and from the water rose a green toad with purple rings around it's eyes

"From the land of earth to lightning I have travelled this war torn land in search of peace women swoon men envy the incomparable the unstoppable the gallant Jiraiya" Jiraiya said appearing in a cloud of smoke atop the toad

"You've gotta be kidding me a Sannin" Hidan said before he grinned "finally I get a rematch with one of you guys" Hidan charged forward leaping into the air he swung his scythe

Jiraiya ducked under the scythe grabbing hold with both hands with a flip of his wrist he sent the scythe flying through the air and crashing into the wall of the canal

"Again I don't remember fighting you" Jiraiya said throwing a punch Hidan ducked under the attack and pulled his scythe flew back through the air Jiraiya vanished with a substitution along with his toad

Hidan landed atop the water turning on the balls of his feet he swung nearly taking Jiraiyas head

"I never fought you pervert I fought the snake freak Orochimaru he's the reason I even joined the Akatsuki" Hidan said swinging wildly Jiraiya bobbed and weaved before he kicked Hidan in the stomach sending him sliding across the water Hidan stood up and made five one handed hand signs

"Water style mouth of the serpent" a water pillar rose up behind Jiraiya it's end taking the shape of a snake with it's mouth wide open as it fell towards Jiraiya

"Earth style earth wall" Jiraiya called stomping his feet a wall of earth rose up blocking the snake's attack "damn he's an earth type but I've got the advantage of terrain"

"water style stream" Hidan called spitting out a high pressure stream of water towards Jiraiya knocking him through his earth wall Hidan then made more hand signs "water style mouth of the serpent" Hidan called water rose up beneath Jiraiya swallowing him whole

Hidan grinned until shards of earth surfaced where there should have been blood Hidan cursed and leapt back flipping through the air dodging Jiraiya's sneak attack from below

Hidan flipped down and swung with his scythe nicking Jiraiya's shoulder Hidan followed it up by swinging his scythe up hitting Jiraiya with the base and sending him flying

Jiraiya landed with a crouch "your good kid" he said standing up "no one's gotten a solid blow like that on me in a while not even Itachi and Kisame"

Hidan grinned "coming from a sannin that's high praise thanks" Hidan held his scythe to his mouth and licked the blood "I've got about enough chakra to use my ace in the hole so I'm going to kill you now Jiraiya of the sannin"

Hidan rushed towards Jiraiya throwing a series of punches then uses his scythe he pole vaulted through the air his feet slamming into Jiraiya's stomach

Jiraiya grabbed onto Hidan's feet and spun on his heels throwing Hidan out of the canal on onto dry land Hidan's neck breaking on impact

Hidan stood up and put his neck back in place "yeesh you're a sannin for a reason" Hidan grinned and made a circle on the floor "but now the ritual can begin"

Hidan's skin then turned black with white skeletal patterns he pulled out a rod that expanded into a foot long pole Jiraiya leapt off the ground just as Hidan stabbed himself in the foot

Jiraiya fell to the ground when he looked down he could see the sole of his sandal through the bleeding hole

"Heh ha hurts doesn't it old man don't worry we'll suffer sweet agony together" Hidan stabbed himself again this time in the stomach Jiraiya grit his teeth but didn't scream

"Come on old man scream for me this'll be boring if you don't scream" Hidan whined slash threatened "I suppose I should just finish this"

Hidan raised his pole up to stab himself in the heart when his joints began to stiffen "what the what is this" Hidan said

Jiraiya stood up his and looked at Hidan his nose bulbous and wart covered his eyes miniaturized and of course his red markings had gotten wider and covered more of his face

"This is sage mode I figured out your dumb jutsu pretty quickly you linked us together by drinking my blood then whatever you do to yourself in that circle happens to me" Jiraiya said clapping his hands together drawing in more nature energy

"No you can't beat the death possession blood it's impossible" Hidan wailed "as foretold by lord jashin"

Hidan's arm began to turn to stone followed by his feet and chest Jiraiya smirked "my student once told me that the impossible is just something that hasn't happened yet"

Hidan's scythe fell out of his hands "the fourth hokage huh bet that would've been a fun fight" Hidan said with a wistful expression as if he was trying to imagine that fight right now

Jiraiya nodded "your jutsu is good you would've beat him with it"

Hidans face was the only thing that wasn't stone "I would've beat the fourth hokage I'll make sure to tell Kakuzu that when the old bastard joins me in hell" Hidan told Jiraiya before his whole face petrified

Hidan the immortal S ranked ninja of the hidden steam village and last member to join the Akatsuki

Was dead

Jiraiya walked over to Hidan with a rasengan formed in his hand "I bet your happier in hell Hidan must be like heaven for a guy like you" Jiraiya destroyed Hidan's body with his students jutsu and then picked up his scythe

who knows better to have something and not need it then need it and not have it

Ok this is definetly an interesting and really fun fight for me to write you'll have to wait a few days for chapter 27 which'll be Shino VS Taang

And then chapter 28 I've got a surprise you guys will like so until then live long die awesome have a few parties in between and someone give me review number 30 for this story
