Chapter 25: A Score to be Settled Part 2
"I volunteer myself to go first, I draw!" laughed Vector. "I place two cards facedown and end my turn. Go, Nash." Yuma and Nash were surprised that Vector didn't try to protect himself with a monster. What's he up to? thought Nash.
"Alright then Vector, I draw!" shouted Nash. He smirked at the card he drew. "Alright Vector, I activate the spell, Rank Up-Magic: The Seventh One!" Nash shouted. "I special summon Number 101: Silent Honor ARK, now I rebuild the overlay network with this 1 monster. Go, Chaos XYZ Evolution! I XYZ Summon Number C101: Silent Honor DARK!" Vector smirked in amusement. "Now, C101, attack Vector directly!" commanded Nash. Boom!
"Waugh!" cried out Vector as he slid back a bit as his life points depleted from 4000 to 1200. Yuma cheered.
"Good move Shark!" shouted Yuma.
"I place 3 cards facedown and end my turn, your move Vector." snarled Nash. Vector was laughing at the fact that Nash fell for his trap. Nash seemed confused.
"What's so funny, Vector?" asked Nash, still confused.
"You, Nash, because I activate the spell from my hand, Don Thousand's Contract! This allows me to summon up to five Chaos monsters, so appear Number C65: King Overfiend, Number C102: Archfiend Seraph, Number C103: Ragnafinity, and finally, Number C104: Umbral Horror Masquerade!" laughed Vector. Nash snarled in response, and his life points were cut in half.
"Oh what's wrong Nash?" Vector taunted, (using his Ray voice). Nash gritted his teeth in response. "Now, Umbral Horror Masquerade, destroy Silent Honor DARK!" commanded Vector. Boom!
"Urgh!" groaned Nash as his life points depleted from 2000 to 1800. "Now Archfiend Seraph, finish him!" laughed Vector.
"Shark, no!" shouted Yuma. Nash smiled.
"You seem to have forgotten, Silent Honor DARK returns to the field and I gain 2800 life points." Nash said. Vector gritted his teeth as Nashs' life points increased from 1800 to 4600. Yuma cheered. Vector snarled in anger and disgust.
"This doesn't change the fact that Archfiend Seraph can attack, so I'll continue my attack on Silent Honor DRAK." Vector smirks. "Go!" Boom!
"Ugh." groans Nash as his life points are depleted from 4600 to 4500.
"Now, King Overfiend, attack!" laughs Vector. Boom!
"Ah!" screams Nash as he's flown backward a bit and his life points deplete from 4500 to 2900.
"Now, Ragnafinity, attack Nash!" Slash!
"Ugh!" Nash cries out in pain as his life points depletes from 2900 to 100.
"Shark, no!" screams Yuma in agony. Tori covers her eyes. Vector laughs in amusement.
"I place 1 card facedown and end my turn. Go, Nash." chided Vector. "But why bother?" Nash snarled in anger. Vector laughed at the sight. "How sad. You have 100 life points left!" Vector continued to laugh. Nash snarled again.
"I'll defeat you Vector, once and for all, I draw!" shouted Nash.
"I activate the spell, Waterspout Control! This allows me to pick one monster on your field with the lowest attack, or defense." Vector smirks in amusement.
"Hah! I play the trap, Downgrade!" laughed Vector. Nashs' eyes widened.
"What?" he asked.
"Simple Nash, when you target 1 of my monsters, I can make all of my monsters defense go to 0." Vector explained. Nash grunted.
"Fine, so all of your monsters have 0 defense, so which monster will you give to me?" asked Nash. Vector looked at his 4 monsters on his field. Vector pointed to King Overfiend.
"Take him." muttered Vector. Nash nodded.
"Very well. King Overfiend, come to me." Nash commanded. King Overfiend went from Vectors' field to Nashs'. Yuma smiled.
"Next, I play the spell, Double Attack Unit. With this equip card, my monsters gains double its attack points." explained Nash. King Overfiends' attack: 1600-3200.
"Oh yeah! Now King Overfiend is the strongest monster on the field!" cheered Yuma. Vector gritted his teeth.
"Now King Overfiend, attack Umbral Horror Masquerade!" commanded Nash. Boom!
"When a the Legendary Number of its Ruins destroys its Over-Hundred counterpart, the true memories of the that Barian Emperor is revealed." explained Astral.
"Ah!" screamed Vector as he slid back a bit more and reverted back into his Human form, and his life points depleted from 1200 to 1000.
Some odd minutes later...
"Ugh, what was that?" asked Vector, dazed and confused. "My memories?" Nash nodded.
"Indeed." agreed Nash. Vector shook his head.
"No, that can't be." muttered Vector. Then, there was a loud laugh throughout the area. Nash and Vector turned to find the source of the laugh.
"Who's there?" asked Vector and Nash. Then, the dark form of Don Thousand appeared. Nash gritted his teeth in disgust.
"Don Thousand." muttered Nash. Don Thousand laughed. Yuma and Umbral snarled in disgust.
"Don Thousand!" gasped Vector. Vector shook his head in disgust, then he raised his right arm and shot a beam of light, which hit Don Thousand, thus making him explode. Everyone's eyes widened, including Vectors'.
"What just happened?" asked Umbral.
"I have no idea." Yuma replied. Vector looked at Nash.
"I activate my trap, XYZ Discharge." Vector said. "With it, you get control of C102 and C103." C102 and C103 went from Vectors' field to Nashs'.
"What's the meaning of this, Vector?" Nash asked, confused. Vector shook his head.
"I'm doing this because I'm sorry for what I did in the past." Vector said softly. "I don't deserve to be here, alive as a Barian Emperor. Who would want to be my friend, after everything I've done?"
"Indeed." agreed Nash.
"Vector!" shouted Yuma. Vector and Nash turned to look at Yuma.
"Please Nash, finish me." Vector muttered softly. Nash nodded.
"Very well, C103, attack Vector directly!" shouted Nash.
"This is for my sister!" Vector began to laugh.
"Got you!" he laughed. "I play the trap, Trick Buster! When I possess no monsters and my opponent does, all faceup attack position monsters they control are destroyed!"
"Ugh!" groaned Nash. "I place 1 card facedown and end my turn. Go Vector." said Nash.
"Now it's my turn, I draw!" Vector sneered. He smirked at the card.
"I activate the spell, Rising of Chaos! With this, I can summon up to five fiend monsters, So I summon 3 Umbral Horror Warriors, and two Umbral Horror Will o' the Wisps. I activate both of my Wisps effects, making them level 6. I overlay my five level six monsters and XYZ Summon Number C5: Chaos Chimera Dragon!" Chaos Chimera Dragon: 5000 attack/5000 defense. "Now Nash, say goodbye. Chaos Chimera Dragon, attack Nash directly!"
"Hah, nice try Vector, I activate the trap, Negate Attack! This stops your attack." explained Nash. Vector snarled.
"Fine. I end my turn." Vector muttered. "Go, Nash." Nash nodded. Vector smiled.
"I activate the trap, Corrupted Keys! Now I summon 3 Umbral Horror Mirage Tokens with 5000 attack each." explained Vector. Nash nodded again.
"Alright then, I draw!" he shouted, determined to win. "I summon Panther Shark, next I summon Eagle Shark. I now overlay these two monsters and XYZ Summon Number 73: Abyss Splash!" Vector chuckled.
"Impressive, but it can't save you." Vector pointed out. Nash nodded.
"For now." replied Nash. "And now I end my turn with one facedown. Go Vector." Vector smirked.
"Time to end this, I draw!" shouted Vector. "Chaos Chimera Dragon, attack Abyss Splash!" commanded Vector. Nash smiled.
"I play the quick play spell, Rank Up-Magic Quick Chaos!" shouted Nash as his facedown revealed itself.
"Huh?" asked Vector.
"I rebuild the overlay network with Rank 5 Abyss Splash. Go, Chaos XYZ Evolution! Appear, Number C73: Abyss Supra Splash!" cried out Nash. Yuma cheered.
"Good going Shark!" shouted Yuma. Vector laughed.
"This changes nothing! Chaos Chimera Dragon, attack Abyss Supra Splash!" If Nash wasn't in his Barian form, he would've smiled.
"What?!" gasped Vector.
"You see Vector, my monster has the ability to gain attack points equal to the attacking monster, during either players' turn. And now, I activate the effect now. By detaching one overlay unit, my monster gains attack equal to Chaos Chimera Dragon, which is 5000 attack points." explained Nash. Abyss Supra Splashs' attack: 3000-8000. Vector stepped back in awe.
"8000 attack points?!" he asked, shocked.
"Yeah Shark!" cheered Yuma. Nash pointed his right index finger at Vector.
"Time to die in a hole, Vector!" snarled Nash. "C73, counterattack! This is for Dumon and my sister, Marin!" Boom!
"Urgh, aghh!" screamed Vector as he flew backwards and reverted back into his Human form and his life points depleted from 1000 to 0. Nash shook his head.
"Time to go, Vector." snarled Nash. Then, an evil laugh filled the room. Vector turned to see Don Thousand appear before him and everyone else.
"Hahaha!" laughed Don Thousand. Vector crawled away, slowly.
"Don Thousand, but how?" asked Vector, shocked.
"Simple. Did you seriously think you could destroy me Vector?" Don Thousand asked. "I'm the Deity of Barian World, you fool!" Don Thousand opened his maw and started absorbing everything, including Vector.
"Ah, help me!" screamed Vector as he was pulled closer to Don Thousands' maw. Nash was struggling to stand.
"Urgh." he groaned. Yuma ran toward Vector.
"Vector!" shouted Yuma. Yuma reached out to Vector. "Grab my hand!" shouted Yuma. Vector nodded and grabbed Yumas' hand.
"Why are you helping me Yuma?" asked Vector. "You saw what I tried to do. Destroy Nash." Yuma nodded.
"I know that, but you are still my friend to me no matter who you are!" replied Yuma, who had to shout because of the wind.
"Yuma, stop!" ordered Nash. "Vector has no heart. Besides, even if you save him, he'll stab you right in the back again!"
"I know, but still. When he was Ray, he was a friend to me and to everyone else. His personality was similar to his in the past." Yuma replied. "Vector can start over."
"I can?" asked Vector, confused. Yuma nodded.
"Yes, you can." Yuma said, through tears. Don Thousand laughed.
"Vector, take Yuma down with you!" ordered Don Thousand.
"Yes!" laughed Vector.
"Yuma, let go!" shouted Astral. Yuma turned to face Astral.
"No, not after the trouble I went through to find him again." retorted Yuma. "Ray may have been a jerk at times, but regardless, he's still my friend." Vectors' eyes widened.
"Yuma..." muttered Vector. Vector began to let go of Yumas' hand.
"Vector, what are you doing?" asked Yuma.
"I'm sorry Yuma, but I can't take you with me." Vector said, tears falling down his face. Then Vector completely let go and was absorbed by Don Thousands' maw. Don Thousand laughed in amusement.
"Hehehehehe!" laughed Don Thousand. Yuma snarled at Don Thousand. "You'll pay for what you did!" snarled Yuma. "And I'll prove that to you by taking you down now!" Yuma was about to activate his duel disk, when Mizar appeared from a portal. Yuma turned and looked at Mizar.
"Is it true Mizar?" asked Yuma. "Is Kite, gone?" Mizar nodded.
"Yes." Mizar replied, tears began to fall down his face. Don Thousand continued to laugh. Mizar turned to face Umbral.
"You ready?" Mizar asked Umbral. Umbral nodded in agreement. Don Thousand continued to laugh. Mizar and Umbral pointed their right index fingers at Don Thousand.
"Time to take you down once and for all!" shouted Mizar and Umbral. Don Thousand laughed.
"Fine then." he replied. "But you'll never defeat me." Mizar and Umbral scoffed.
"We'll see about that!" Umbral and Mizar snarled. Don Thousand laughed at Mizar.
"How sad Mizar, you can't Barian Battlemorph." Don Thousand said with sympathy in his voice. (fake sympathy, of course)
"I may not be able to, but Umbral can." Mizar pointed out.
"That's right!" Umbral said. He raised his right arm and shouted, "Go Barian Battlemorph!" And he transformed into his Barian form. Don Thousand laughed again and activated his black-reddish duel disk, supposedly representing Chaos. Mizar and Umbral activated their duel disks as well.
"Let's duel!" the three of them shouted. Be careful Mizar and Umbral. thought Nash.
