Goldie and Mari had no sooner cleaned up the main area than a squealing of tires drew their attention to the front door, seeing the Fazbear diner's van thrown into park, and a crew quickly filed out, Bonnie being held up and nearly dragged in by Samual and Kyle. Mari gasped, her hands shooting up to her mouth when she saw the large dripping gash showing clearly in the bunny's torso. They pulled the groaning rabbit through the doors, being held open by Freddy and Chica, only to quickly close them as more cars started to file in quickly, several showing they were news vans, causing everyone to groan at what this could mean. Kyle thought fast, pulling Bonnie into the back room with the robotic character hissing in apparent pain, which worried everyone. They are able to shut down the pain receptors, but for some reason Bonnie hadn't, or even couldn't stop the pain. Chica was hovering near the door in tears, sobbing as Foxy hugged the chicken, here own eyes misty and focusing between the injured friend and Kyle, who was currently holding the bunny down as Samual tried to undo the jacket Bonnie was wearing to gain access to the damage.
Kyle glanced over and noticed the two females hovering and sighed, but was beat to the punch by the injured Bonnie. He looked over and did his best to hide his pain, but his voice made it clear he was struggling, "Hey girls...why don't you go get our goodies from the Con put up? Would hate for any of them to be lost or something in the shuffle. Just need Kyle here to help with a little scuff."
Chica looked hopeful at Bonnie, "Sure Bon..you..you...," She sniffled and wiped her eyes, "You just make sure to get all patched up alright?" Chica turned and quickly left the room, Foxy lingered and caught Kyle's eyes, giving him a look of want. Kyle sighed as the two left and began to work, pulling a knife from the toolbox as Samual finished getting the jacket off, the two fully seeing the external damage of the shot. Bonnie's entire fleshy covering was a ragged rip nearly four inches across, the artificial skin ripped and hanging in chunks. The purple furred whitish skin was gone, showing the opaque blueish tinged under layment, that too torn to shreds by whatever was in that shot shell. The two humans inhaled sharply as they looked closer, as Kyle placed the knife edge an inch outside of the damage, stopped as Bonnie cried out in a sob.
"Bonnie, why haven't you shut down your pain systems yet?" Kyle asked at the bunny, wincing at Bonnie's tight faced grimace.
He let out a sharp exhale through his teeth, "I've tried, somethings not letting it...I keep getting an error code. I cant even shut down to sleep mode...more errors. Like I want to so bad...but I just cant."
Kyle sighed, "OK bud. Listen...then this is going to hurt really bad for a bit OK? Can you at least lower your strength or something so you don't punch me or Samual out of reflex?"
Bonnie's eyes flashed green for a second, flitted side to side for a bit then returned to their purple state, "Yep..now I shouldn't be able to move."
"Good." Kyle sighed as he pressed the blade in, Bonnie groaning out but unable to lift his arms out of Samual's grips. Kyle followed the oblong damage around until the slab of fake flesh was outlined by one solid cut. He swallowed as he lifted it off and set it down with a slap on the table, groaning at the damage internally. His stomach was pelted with bbs, synthetic oil filters were damaged as were his coolant pumps. He was surprised he was even still functional. Kyle started to gently unhook the lines and wires, the artificial fluids running all over and dripping over the table. Once the damaged parts were out, Kyle wiped the excess fluid out with a towel and looked over the more sensitive areas. Luckily his power cells and primary pump systems. Just as Kyle was about to grab his phone, Walter came in looking haggard, pissed and concerned at the same time.
"How bad?" he muttered.
Bonnie chuckled before grimacing, "Nice to see you too man. How you been?"
Walter sighed, "Better, at first the old man was pissed, but then had an idea of how to spin this whole debacle." He looked down at the damage and whistled low, setting a few boxes on the table. "Here, get him all fixed up and back to 100 percent, then meet me out in the main area and hope your good at improv."
Kyle was confused as Walter left, but shrugged as he opened the boxes, pulling out only what was needed to fix Bonnie up. He placed the replacement inner working in their spots, reconnected the fittings and wires before testing them to make sure they worked, watching the organic based robotics pulse with life. He traced the damaged section on the new flesh and cut it out perfectly, orientating it on his abdomen and, using the electron tool, triggered the flesh to heal, zipping itself closed to Bonnie, before repeating the action with the fur covering. Bonnie sighed happily as his error messages cleared and the pain went away. He reactivated his physical systems and sat up, running his hand over the area.
"Like new." He hopped off the table and pulled Kyle in a tight hug, whispering his thanks to the human, "Thank you so much man, I think we both knew how worried Chica was." Kyle nodded as they pulled apart, before pulling Samual in a hug just as tight.
"And as for you...Let us know when you ever want to watch...I think risking me punching you earned a little viewing." Bonnie winked to the stunned daygaurd, drawing a confused look from Kyle before he shrugged and picked up his tools.
The two left for the main area, finding Walter talking to Claire, who looked worried about something but Kyle was unsure what. He walked over as Samual split off to go check on the others. Walter noticed Kyle walking over and sighed, running his hand through his hair looking uneasy, "Look...as you can tell, there are a LOT of news crews out there demanding answers concerning a rumor of an animatronics at a convention. Now...the old man was pissed and ready to fire someone, but then he thought of something, and it could work IF it is handled properly."
"And that is?" Unsure of what this was leading to.
"Well...YOUR going to tell them that the band is fully online with their AI going...and today was a test."
Kyle looked shocked, "What?! How's that going to work?"
"I don't know...but you better think fast kid...the old man throwing YOU under the bus since this was your doing." Walter gave him a soft smile, "I know you can think of something...your a smart kid."
Walter guided him to the door, his thoughts a mile a second as the door opened, and a wave of questions hit them like a tidal wave.
