Kalos, Reunion and Romance!
Here I am with a new chapter and a new short arc called "The Lost Little Girl in Time!" This will be a four part arc that leads to Courmarine City with the final part taking place after Mega Evolution Part Five.
Chapter Twenty Five: The Girl Named
"The Lost Little Girl in Time Part One"
Route Twelve (7:34 p.m.)
Ash and his friends have arrived at Route Twelve from their short journey in the Azure Islands. Now our heroes are on their way to Courmarine City, for Ash to win his fourth gym badge to qualify for the Kalos League.
Somewhere in a distant time, a little girl cries out for her brother, but no responses from her big brother.
"Where could he have gone too?" The little girl with honey blonde hair cried in a foggy forest.
"MOMMY! DADDY! WAAA hahaah!" She begins to cry and a mysterious creature watches the little girl crying. It feels sad for her and decided it wanted to help her.
The mysterious creature threw a gold ring between two trees; it expanded and showed an image of a group of trainers.
"Mommy! Daddy!" She yelled at the ring and ran towards it. As she went through the ring, she was teleported into thin air and falling into a lake.
"Help! Help! I can't swim! I'm drowning! Please HELP!" The little girl cries out for help.
Pikachu's ear perked up and ran towards the source of the yelling.
Ash and the others followed the Electric type Pokémon.
The little girl that is drowning saw Pikachu. "Is that Pikachu? Then that means…" The girl looses conscious.
Ash saw what was happening and jump right into the water and saved the little girl from drowning. The little girl has lost conscious, Serena quickly treated her.
"I wonder if her parents or relatives are around." Clemont wondered.
"I hope she'll be okay!" Bonnie worried for her.
"NeNe!"
The little girl regains consciousness and saw Serena taking care of her and giving her a cup of hot chocolate that she just made a few minutes ago after covering the little girl with a blanket.
"Mommy?" The little girl quietly said.
"Mommy?" Serena curiously says.
As the girl saw who it was, she mistaken Serena for her mother.
"Where am I and where's my brother?" She said.
"We're at Route Twelve, what's your name?" Ash asked her.
The little girl looked around and got up. She is scared of strangers and started to run away from the group.
"Hey wait! We're trying to help!" Ash calls out for her and everyone started following her.
The group chased her down for the past four minutes and no sign of her anywhere.
"Where could have she gone too?" Serena worriedly asked.
"Thinks me, I hope she's okay" Ash is a little worried.
"Yeah me too!" Bonnie said.
Everyone heard a scream and follow where the screaming is originating from.
Ash and friend all saw Rena holding onto the ledge of a cliff and the edge she is holding onto is collapsing.
Ash quickly dove right in and grabs the little girl's hand, saving her from falling to who knows where.
Ash sighed "That was close, hey I hope you are alright!" He said.
The little girl is grateful of Ash for saving her.
"So would you tell us your name so we can help you find your brother?" Ash kindly asks.
"My name is Rena and I'm traveling with my brother so he can take on the Kalos League or was traveling with him!" She thinks that her brother may have abandoned her.
Clemont kindly introduces himself to Rena "Well I'm Clemont and this is my little sister Bonnie!"
"And this little Dedenne!"
"De NeNe Ne!"
"I'm Serena!"
"And my name is Ash and this is my partner Pikachu!"
Everyone introduce themselves to Rena.
"Your Pikachu looks a lot like my Daddy's Pikachu" Rena told him.
"Oh really? What's he like?" Ash asked her.
"Well he's the champion of the Indigo League and he has a lot of Pokémon who is he very close with. His Pikachu is so cute that when I'm old enough to have a Pokémon, I want it to be a Pikachu like my daddy. Hey you mind if I pet your Pikachu?" Rena politely asked.
"Oh so you're from Kanto aren't you?" Ash said.
"Yeah! My brother just challenged the Indigo League but lost at the finals and now we're traveling through the Kalos region!" Rena excitingly said.
"I'm also from the Kanto region too, from Pallet Town!" Ash told the little girl.
"Hey I've been there before when I visit my grandma!"
"Pika!" Pikachu hop onto Rena's lap.
"Wow! It's so cute, may I groom it?" Rena happily asked.
"Sure, go on ahead but be careful with Pikachu as it may sometime feel frighten from some people and shock them" Ash said.
"Chaaaaa!"
Rena is brushing Pikachu gently. "My Mommy always grooms Daddy's Pikachu when she grooms her Pokémon, so she taught me a lot of caring for Pokémon"
"So where is your brother Rena? How did you two get separated from each other?" Clemont asked.
Rena looked down at the ground and last time she remembers seeing her brother is when they got separated from the deep fog in the forest she was at.
"I don't know really, he suddenly disappeared out of nowhere and I was lost in the woods. My brother said that if we ever get lost, we meet up at Coumarine City, so maybe he'll be there!" Rena told the group.
"So I say we go to Coumarine City together to find your brother, we were on our way their now. So how about it Rena? Would you like to come along with us?" Ash offered her and she accepts.
"Hurray! You and me are going to get along very well" Bonnie happily welcomes Rena to the group as they are about to continue their journey to Coumarine City.
Rena smiles and walks alongside with Bonnie.
"So what is your mom like Rena?" Serena curiously asked her.
"Well she was a Pokémon Perform when she was traveling with my daddy when they were young but now my mommy is retired from being a performer since she had me and my brother. She was also the Kalos Queen too" Rena said.
"Kalos Queen?" Serena said.
Rena started explaining to Serena "Well I don't know that much about Kalos Queen but it's a title that girls earn for winning many Showcases as a Pokémon Performer here in the Kalos region"
Pikachu suddenly takes a defense position towards a rustling bush, Pikachu got everyone's attention.
A wild Pokémon suddenly startled the group.
Ash takes out his Pokédex and scans the dual Fighting and Flying type "Hawlucha, the Wrestling Pokémon. Possessing an artistic way of executing its moves, Hawlucha takes great pride in their elegance!"
Hawlucha is now in a defense stance.
"It looks like it wants to battle one of us" Clemont said.
"I can be its guest!" Ash grabs one of his Pokéballs and enlarges it "Frogadier I choose you!"
Hawlucha begins with a Karate Chop attack; Frogadier counters it with Cut and jumps backwards to use Water Pulse.
Hawlucha is soaked in water from the Water Pulse attack and after it regains its vision, it saw Frogadier right above it, about to use Aerial Ace.
It quickly dodges Frogadier's attack and used Poison Jab right directly at Frogadier.
Frogadier was knocked next to Ash's side.
"Are you okay Frogadier?" Ash worried asked it.
The Bubble Frog was nodded and flinched as it was poisoned from Hawlucha's Poison Jab attack.
"You're poisoned Frogadier, return!" Frogadier quickly dodge from being recalled back into its Pokéball.
"Huh? You still want to battle Frogadier, even if you're poisoned?" Ash said.
Frogadier nodded in agreement and Ash order it to use Double Team.
Hawlucha is listening to its surroundings. Hawlucha opens its eyes and begins to use Flying Press on Frogadier.
Frogadier quickly stopped it and used Aerial Ace once more.
Hawlucha was knocked back onto the ground.
Ash turns his hat around, this caught Rena's attention as somehow she seen that pose before. "Pokéball! GO!" Ash tosses the Pokéball at Hawlucha and was caught inside the capsule device.
The ball begins shake uncontrollably and stop with a red light flashed on the middle button of the device.
"PIKAAA!" Pikachu jumps in joy as Ash caught a brand new Pokémon.
"I got a Hawlucha!" Ash holds up the Pokéball up high.
"Bonnie, Happy! Happy! You think I can take care of Hawlucha once of these days Ash" Bonnie asked.
"Sure thing Bonnie!" Ash says.
"HORAY!"
"It's getting late, I say we set up camp for tonight" Serena suggested as the sun is almost about to set.
Everyone agreed with her and Serena is willing to lend a blanket and a pillow to Rena.
Rena is standing outside between the two tents and she is having a hard time where to sleep at.
"Why don't you come sleep with us Rena?" Serena said to Rena.
Rena is scare to answer and wanted to cry. Serena quickly hugged her and told that everything will be alright. Rena suddenly feels if her mother somehow is with her. Serena carried the little girl into the girl's tent and slept together. Bonnie smiled at how both Serena and Rena quickly bonded.
Serena falls to sleep with Rena and started dreaming.
It was a nice sunny day in Lumiose City. Fletchings were chirping and a church's bell rung. Right at front of Prism Tower, a wedding is taking place.
Ash and Serena were walking down the aisle, wait this is their wedding!
"Ahem, do you Ash Ketchum take Serena as your lawfully wedded wife?" Professor Sycamore as the minister says.
"I DO!" Ash replied.
"And do you Serena take Ash as your lawfully wedded husband?"
Serena looked at Ash's eyes as he is too looking at her eyes.
"I DO!" Serena says.
"I proudly pronounce you husband and wife! You may kiss the bride!" Sycamore said.
As both the groom and the bride were about to kiss, the Prism Tower suddenly collapses and revealing a weapon of mass destruction.
Everyone panic and ran for their lives. A tall man suddenly appeared from the debrief of the wreckage of the tower. He points at the wedding couple and clinches his fist as the weapon behind the man shoots massive amounts of energy and struck Kalos.
Serena suddenly wakes up from her nightmare, breathing heavily and sweating.
Rena told Serena that she had a nightmare too and told her everything.
Serena is shock that Rena had the same dream as her, but how could this be?
"I think you and Ash make a perfect married couple, don't you think so Serena?" Rena smiled at her, causing Serena to blush intensely; she covered her face with her hair and ran out of the tent.
"Huh? Did I say something wrong?" Rena wondered why Serena blushed and left.
Ash and Clemont have already put their tent away. Pikachu, Frogadier, Fletchinder and Charizard are all getting to know Hawlucha as it is showing off its strength.
As Rena got out of the tent and she sees Ash and Serena having a nice conversation. Clemont seems to be cooking and Bonnie is cleaning Dedenne and Pikachu.
"Excuse me!" A young man spoke out to the group.
"I see that one of you fellas have a Charizard that is able to mega evolve! I myself have a mega evolution Pokémon"
"I'm Ash and that's my Charizard" He pointed out to the young man.
"Nice to meet you Ash, the name is Charles. So how about it?"
"Huh?"
"A one on one battle between our mega evolve Pokémon from the start, how does that sound to you?" Charles says.
"You're on!" Ash accepts the battle invite. Both trainers are standing across from each other in the field.
"Sceptile come out!" Charles has called out his Grass type Pokémon.
"So Sceptile can mega evolve huh? Charizard are you ready?"
Charizard nodded back at Ash.
Ash vs Charles (Mega Battle)
"Keystone respond!"
Both Ash and Charizard's respective stone begin to resonate.
"Charizard, Mega Evolve!"
"Sceptile! Mega Evolve now!" Charles activates his keystone.
Charizard has fully mega evolve into Mega Charzard Y and Sceptile has mega evolved too with it gaining Dragon type.
"Just a little warning, that Mega Sceptile is now a Grass and Dragon type!" Charles said.
"Dragon type huh? Okay Charizard, use Dragon Tail!" Ash started the battle with a first command.
"Sceptile dodge it with Quick Attack and continue to attack it!" Charles quickly reacted.
"Flamethrower!"
Charizard quickly canceled Dragon Tail and used Flamethrower instead at point blank on Sceptile.
"Wing Attack, now!" Ash shouted.
Sceptile is knocked a few yards behind Charles and quickly dash back to the battlefield.
"Okay Sceptile use Dragon Claw!" Charles commanded.
"Counter it Charizard!" Ash shouted.
Charizard's claw began to glow green and counter the Dragon type attack.
"Is that what I think it is?" Ash says.
"That's Dragon Claw!" Clemont pointed it out.
"Alright Charizard, good job on learning a new move, now let's put it to a test. Dragon Claw!"
Charizard pushes Sceptile away and slashes Sceptile with Dragon Claw with full force, instantly knocking it out.
Sceptile reverts back to its normal evolution stage.
"Sceptile, you put up a good fight, I guess we need to become stronger together for next time and Ash, that's was a great battle. Seems that your Charizard is able to mega evolve into a different form of Mega Charizard" Charles patted his Sceptile.
"Thanks and you saw a Charizard able to mega evolve into a different form?" Ash questioned him.
"That's right; it had a black and blue body with blue flames coming from both sides of its jaw. It's even a Fire and Dragon type!" Charles replied.
Ash remember that a previous trainer he'd met once told him how she has encountered a trainer with a black Charizard.
"Well it was nice meeting ya, I must hit the road. May we meet each other soon" Charles bid his farewell and leaves for west.
Ash takes a closer look at his blue Mega Ring. Rena looked at his Mega Ring too and reminded her that her father taught her everything about Mega Evolution.
"Hey, we better get to Coumarine City before Shuana leaves town" Ash reminded everyone.
"So Rena, are you ready to find your brother?" Serena asked.
"Yeah… wah!" Rena fell on the ground and she wanted to start crying.
Ash quickly helps her up and let her on his back while Pikachu jumps onto Serena.
"There, there, you'll be okay!" Ash comforted Rena.
Serena looked at awe and smiled at Ash how he's comforting Rena.
Ash gets the feeling that he somehow knows Rena but doesn't quite know it.
Serena holds hands with Ash as they walk behind the siblings as they continue their way to Coumarine City, Rena notices both Ash and Serena are holding hands and it reminded her of her own parents.
Will Rena be able to reunite with her brother and just who is she? Find out as the journey continues.
