Whoo! Comic Con!
Jervis is one messed up person!
Enjoy my lovelies!
Felicity sat on the floor staring at the wall. She had been changed.
Tech had changed her clothes. Red filled her vision, making her get really pissed off.
No one controls Felicity Smoak.
No one decides my fate but myself.
Felicity then pulled off the lace wrist bands, her heart racing in fear of what she was wearing.
The control.
He has mind control.
Her chipped fingernails shined at her. Her hands shaking, she searched for any jewelry, clips, anything that could cause a current to go through her nerves. She found a black headband, which she snapped in half. Finding nothing else, Felicity took in her surroundings. It was cold, but the room was comfortable.
A full sized bed pushed against the back wall, the trash can next to her, and the door on the wall she was against. It was barren, like a prison. No colors, nothing.
But it was cold.
Felicity slowly turned, looking around the room at for where the air was coming from. Her eyes spotted it over in one corner, an air duct. She smiled, then cursed as she tripped over the skirt of the dress.
"Stupid, no good, demented stalker." Felicity grabbed the hem of the dress and ripped it, and tore up parts of the seams too.
Smiling she stood up, and started rearranging the furniture, heading toward the duct.
"I may hate small spaces, but in this case I don't care."
Barry sat on the floor, wishing somehow he could shake the device off of him. It pissed him off to know that the one place they forgot to check was his dad's watch.
Now, he was in control of Jervis.
Jervis was abusing the power he had over his body.
Making Barry run, and then stop. Breaking a finger, only to watch it heal back in a matter of minutes. His mind screamed as the death of his mom played over and over again. Sometimes it wasn't his mom, it was his dad, Joe, Iris, Caitlin, or Cisco. Jervis made him watch Iris and Eddie over and over again. Felicity and Oliver over and over again. His mind was full of pain, and heartache.
"Alice just needs to rest. Then she'll see."
Barry heard Jervis in his head. Another unfortunate effect of the device.
Jervis could make you hear him.
"Here they come my speedy one. Soon the Queen will be busy with you. And when you kill him, Alice and the Hatter will be together." He giggled, and Barry tried to push the thought from his mind.
"The speedster versus the Arrow." Barry tried to fight harder, wanting to deny that statement. "I'll make sure that you two fight forever since you tried to keep Alice from me."
Cisco pulled the black sole off of Sara's boot.
"So, the low jacking?"
Lyla snorted. "It can't track you. When you were going to stop and see us I was going to remove them and see where you had gone."
Sara frowned. "Why?"
"Because ARGUS has been tracking an organization called HIVE, and the intel we had might match up to your missions." Lyla shrugged. "Even though I've quit ARGUS doesn't mean that I can't look out for the team, and for you Sara."
Oliver blinked. "You quit ARGUS?"
Lyla shrugged. "Since having Sarah I haven't wanted to leave her alone. I couldn't take that risk with my family, so I quit. Waller still allows me inside the facility, and to use it's resources as I can."
"Like the doctor who is going to look after Laurel." Caitlin said, checking Laurel's pulse.
Lyla nodded. "I am not allowed on intel, or missions. I am strictly an ex agent who is allowed benefits. Plus Waller would never get on my bad side. I have certain archers who look after me."
"Got it!" Cisco held up the tiny microchip, placing it in the dish Roy held, stood then took the dish back.
"Let's look at the scanner and see what it says." Cisco moved to the computer, giving it to Lyla to read.
Roy shoved his hands back in his pockets, as he moved over to Laurel. He stared at her, wishing she'd recover. She was helping him so much the last few weeks. Getting him the job at the DA, pushing him to study to apply to classes at the community college. Roy hadn't had a chance to say thank you. He told Oliver, Felicity and Dig thank you a lot. They had help him be a better person, but Laurel was helping him take steps to being respected as a man. To be though of as a redeemed man than a punk boy turned hero.
"Roy?"
He glanced back at Sara. Her eyes will filled with a saddness he knew. Knowing the world wasn't what everyone thought it was. That it couldn't be any better than it was now. Not without needing help.
"I just wanted to tell her thank you."
Sara smiled. "You'll never need to thank her Roy. She knows how much you appreciate her help."
Roy swallowed, and looked back at Laurel. Oliver sat in the chair, staring into space. He knew that look, even though he was trying to mask it. The look of despair, pain at not knowing where she was. Never knowing what happened to her. How badly you messed up. He took a step to comfort his mentor when Lyla's computer chimed.
"There is one thing that crazy can't touch!" Lyla smiled typing the keyboard.
Oliver shot out of the chair, moving to the group huddled at the dining room table. "Where is she?"
"The abandonded warehouse complex at 18th and Oak."
Oliver growled. "That's not even two blocks away from Verdant."
Lyla raised an eyebrow. "It gets worse. The building is listed as number 65. Alice in Wonderland was published in 1865."
"The rabbit hole was by an oak tree in some translations." Sara said, moving from her spot.
Dig growled, staring at Oliver as they silently communicated.
Cisco swallowed. "Now that we get the analogy and the sicko who is holding our friends. Suit up?"
Oliver looked over at the others. "Sara, Roy, John we go." They nodded and moved to the hallway to go get their gear. Lyla hugged Dig, whispering something before speaking to the others.
"We're taking Laurel to the hospital. Meet us there with the others." Caitlin moved over to Laurel, prepping her for transport.
"Oliver," He stood in the door, turning back to look at Lyla. "Make him bleed."
Oliver nodded, and closed the door.
