Hello, again.

For the record, the name of the boy exclusive to this canon episode escapes me right now, but Bella isn't really the type of person to truly care about that (at least for some people).

I don't own Yugioh GX or Fairy Tail.

Take a Nap, Ya Hippie!

Bella sighed as she stepped out of the shower one morning. "That was a good jog."

"20 laps at 200 miles an hour's a 'good jog?'" Happy deadpanned, only to have Bella shoot back "In comparison to being a lazy-ass like yourself, yes. A fish isn't a work out at all."

"HEY! DON'T DISS THE FISH!" just got her laughing as she quickly got dressed and headed out for the day, only to bump into Banner as he walked out of his room as well. "Hey, Banner."

"Hello, Isabella." He returned with a smile. "Heading off to class now?"

"Just got in a good jog to start the morning." She told him. "20 miles should be enough to warm me up for the day."

Banner sweat-dropped at the 'casual' number, but was saved from replying when Jaden called out to them from the second floor. "So that blur I saw a bit ago was you? Just how fast were you going that time?"

"200, like NASCAR." Bella told him with a shrug. "No where near as fast as I can go."

Banner's sweat-drop grew at that addition as Jaden made his way down to them. "Just how far are your limits, Bella?"

That actually got the girl to stop in thought. "I...honestly don't know. It's been a while since the last time I checked. I guess I can see to figuring that out after classes today."

"Think the others will probably want to be there as well?"

Bella shrugged, though it did give her a question for Jaden. "By the way, where's the shrimp? Normally he'd be with you."

"Apparently he had something to do." Jaden replied, curious about it himself.

"Probably something to do with Jaden being the representative against North." Lily suggested. "I do remember overhearing Bastion talking about it last night."

Both Bella and Jaden sighed in exasperation, already having an idea of what to expect. "ETA, Lily?"

"Most likely, once classes are done for the day." Lily answered, causing Bella to turn to Jaden.

"Which means we have until then to figure out how to give you an ace in the hole and keep the others off of your back." she told him. "Not saying you might not have something already, but it's best to have options ready for whatever may come."

Too bad we can't be sure of what they're gonna try until it happens, since they could easily change it on us.

As it turned out, they barely made it to lunch before Syrus, Alexis, and Bastion came over with cards in hand and Zane not to far behind (just without a card).

Bella walked over to Zane as she looked at the scene. "I guess you know exactly what's going on?"

Zane nodded. "Though I'm surprised even Alexis is in on this."

Bella smirked mischievously. "Are you certain it isn't because she loves him?"

Apparently, said girl managed to hear her, causing Alexis to whirl around towards Bella. "He's not my boyfriend!"

"I didn't say 'boyfriend.'" was Bella's response, which got both Alexis and Jaden to blush and sputter, both trying to figure out a comeback to it. Syrus, on the other hand, went slack-jawed when he saw his older brother actually chuckle from that. SHE GOT HIM TO CHUCKLE!?

Alexis was idly surprised by that as well, but that was later on when she reflected back on it.

Back in the present, Jaden quickly asked "Look, guys, I know you want to help, but can you please let me deal with it? You can always help with potential new strategies, just in case North actually did something such as look me up."

Bella blinked. "Even I didn't think of that. Good on you, Jaden."

Alexis, Syrus, and Bastion all had the decency to look abashed at Jaden's words as they finished up lunch, but not before they decided to meet on the roof to discuss tactics.

XXMavis and the ExceedsXX

"What is this doing here?" Mavis asked herself for the most part, even though the Exceeds were in the room.

She was referring to an underground metal bunker-like structure that none of them understood just why it was on the island, let alone how it missed their sight until now.

Carla, Lily, and Happy were taking a look around the place as Mavis focused on the structure itself. Well, Carla and Lily were taking a look around, Happy was more 'What does this do?'

"Does anyone else think one of us should see what's inside?" Lily asked, coming up to Mavis. "If we can figure out what's in there, we might be able to learn just why this is here."

Mavis acquiesced and leaned forward, poking her head through the door, only to lean back in shocked confusion. "There's a rather strange student in there, with some form of Sleep Magic in his mere presence."

"Really?" Happy piped up right before suddenly attempting to go in and see for himself. While Mavis was able to stop him, the door started opening as she pulled back.

"YOU FOOL!" Carla cried out in anger, just as Mavis ordered "Run!"

Crowler was left wondering just what opened the door before his arrival.

I wonder where they are. Bella mused as she waited on the roof.

She was thinking in particular about Mavis and the Exceeds, having not seen them since that morning. She wasn't too concerned about them, just curious.

Of course, thanks to her speed, she was easily the first one to arrive for the meeting, and that's even with setting up the Fairies so that they could potentially help as well.

"I'm bored!" Natsu whined.

...at least whenever they can keep focus on it.

"And bitching about it is really gonna help, Natsu?" Bella asked rhetorically. "It isn't like I'm asking you to watching paint dry like that one time on a stakeout in New Orleans. Now that was boring."

"No kidding." Lucy deadpanned, and she wasn't the only one.

"You can always just go to sleep again, if you want." Bella told Natsu, just as Jaden arrived. "It isn't like you're likely to be all that much useful for this discussion. A duel, let alone a real fight, is much more than just simple 'throw enough punches and hope to hit the target.'"

That got a loud round of laughter from both the mages and Jaden. "You got that right!"

"It gets worse with the fact that it's practically nothing but Natsu's go to strategy." Bella told him. "At least until he manages to surprise you in some way."

"Like when he foolishly ate a small piece of Etherion crystal," Erza added in a mischievous tone, catching all of their attention. "and managed to absorb it's power."

"WHAT?!" was all the rest of the Fairies had to say while Bella looked impressed. "Didn't know you had it in ya, Erza."

Just then, Mavis and the Exceeds showed up, and they were unnerved by something. "Guys? What's wrong?"

"We've got incoming." Mavis said. "An Obelisk student was stuck in some metal underground bunker, thanks to some strange version of Sleep Magic he was exuding, until Happy somehow managed to let him loose."

"How did Happy manage to do that?" Bella asked, looking at said Exceed, who was sheepish yet just as curious.

"We don't know." Was all Mavis could say before she tensed. "He's here."

They all turned to a corner of the roof, where a young boy with a blue jacket over his shoulders and a look on his face that Bella recognized instantly. "Great. A damn hippie."

"Far out, lady, but I'm no hippie." the boy responded, only for Bella to retort with "Saying 'far out' says otherwise, hippie. What do you want?"

The boy raised his arm, where a Duel Disk resided, just when the others showed up alongside Crowler, who was wearing a HAZMAT-like suit.

"My apologies, but when I discovered his door open, I thought Jaden a bit of practice with an unexpected opponent, if you will." Crowler told them. "I just had enough time to put this on before his power, which is why he was locked up in the first place, got to me as well."

Jaden then suddenly face-palmed. "I can't believe I didn't think of that before now!"

He then pulled out a couple of cards, which clued Bella and Mavis in. "You could easily talk with your Duel Monsters now to determine new strategies."

"Somewhat, at least." Jaden told them before intoning, "Open, Gate of the Heroes! Bubbleman! Sparkman!"

The two corresponding monsters appeared like Burstinatrix before, and took a moment to look themselves over.

"This is...interesting." Bubbleman eventually said out loud, surprising a number of them.

"Agreed." Sparkman added, looking at his companion. "I know Burstinatrix described this after it happened to her, but it wasn't enough to prepare for actually going through it ourselves."

The pair turned to Jaden. "It's still nice to meet you face-to-face though, Jaden."

"Same here, guys." Jaden replied before turning their attention to their 'opponent,' who was staring wide-eyed at them, clearly in a stupor. "Think you can do something about this sleepyhead before we turn to discussing strategy for the School Duel?"

"Should be simple enough." Sparkman answered with a shrug. "Just n-"

"Are they real?!" the boy suddenly blurted out.

Jaden nodded, much to the boy's shock, and pulled out another pair of card. "Yep. And they are about to teach you a quick lesson in the consequences of even possible substance abuse. In other words..."

A gun-like object nearly as big as Bubbleman appeared on said Monster, while Sparkman found a much more manageable gun in his hand, with both pointed at the other boy.

"Take a nap, ya Hippie!" All three called out before the pair fired, sending a stream of bubbles and a fist-sized blast of electricity towards their target's feet, launching him just enough to knock him out with a helping of paralysis on the side.

When they stopped and let it settle, Bella moved over and checked on the boy. A few moments later, she said "He's fine, just out like a light. Although something is gonna have to be done about his 'power' more permanently."

"Permanently?" Crowler asked.

"Sparkman seems to have temporarily shut it down." Bella told them, much to the man's surprise.

He never heard of that happening before as long as he knew the kid.

While the weapons disappeared in flashes of light, Bubbleman and Sparkman remained as they got into a circle while Bella and Crowler took the knocked out boy away to the Infirmary before Bella returned and joined them.

However, Carla couldn't help but gain a feeling that something else was about to happen sooner or later with the boy.

XXThat nightXX

"Bella, we have a problem."

"Ngh, what is it Carla?"

"The boy from today."

"What about him?"

"He's gone."

"...WHAT?!"

Bella wasn't the only one that would have trouble sleeping any further that night.

It was kind of spur of the moment, and not likely to show up all that much for now, but this is to help prepare for an eventual future follow to 'Undead on Fairy Wings.'

And with people such as Bella and Mavis, they would've more than likely figured out that potential new strategies would've been far more suitable for Jaden than cards that kind of require certain others to work.

Until next time. Please let me know what you think.
