"I'm going to get you back for this."

I ignored the threat, as he'd been muttering them under his breath for the past half hour or so, and continued to gently cut at Felix's singed hair, nudging him with my knee to tilt his head more, as the height difference was detrimental to the cutting process. I'd found Felix attempting to cut the singed and burned hair off himself and, after watching him cut the same finger three times, I stepped in and forced him to sit so I could try to remove the damage I'd done to his hair.

"Right, keep thinking that." I snipped another almost blackened piece of hair off his head, taking care not to touch the black feathers woven between the blond strands. "What are these for, anyway?"

I touched the feathers and he tried to turn, hissing when I tugged sharply on his hair, silently chastising him for moving as I was still holding a sharp dagger close to his scalp. I could feel the irritation but ignored it, taking the dagger and slicing through another piece of singed hair.

"It's something Rufio did." My hand stilled, the grip on the dagger tightening until my knuckles turned white. When I didn't respond, Felix turned his head to assess me over his shoulder, his dark. After several, silent moments, he nudged my stomach with his shoulder, raising his eyebrow. "Are you done?"

I blinked and gripped another patch of hair, slicing through it, the blond strands falling to the ground, joining the growing pile. I slowly drew my hands away from his head, sliding the dagger back into its sheath.

"Done."

I turned to go, stopping when Felix called my name, his face blank and his eyes uncharacteristically playful. He reached up, fingering the black feathers in his hair with a small smirk as he examined my hair, an odd, calculating look entering his eyes.

"Your turn."

I found myself seated on the stump while Felix tugged and pulled at my hair, making no complaints as he'd threatened to chop off my hair if I did so.

Which was a threat considering it wouldn't grow back here.

I winced again at a particularly vicious tug, nearly hissing in anger when Felix chuckled darkly, clearly considering this his 'revenge' for the burning of his hair.

"Hold still." After another tug, his fingers began deftly moving and I blinked when he moved my hair, showing silver and blue feathers in the strands.

I caught the feathers, staring at them in surprise before I turned to face a quiet but calm looking Felix.

"Thanks." He shrugged in response, his gaze flickering over my head as a smirk twisted up one side of his mouth.

"Let's hope Peter likes it."

Well, this wasn't going to be fun.

I stood silently, staring murderously at Hook while his men crept closer, surrounding me in a circle. I'd gotten ambushed by the men moments ago, though I had a feeling that although Hook was clearly delighted that they'd stumbled upon me, the trap was probably just set up for any old lost boy that happened to wander past.

"Don't make this any harder than it has to be, lass." I snorted at his meant to be soothing words, my eyes bleeding red as Hook stepped closer, his good hand extended in offering. "Just come with me and I give my word that you won't be harmed."

"And am I to simply trust the word of a pirate?" I shot back, narrowing my red eyes as he stiffened, clearly not liking his honor being pulled into question. I smirked blankly, my voice mocking. "You and I both know about the honor among thieves."

I ducked, swerving away as a pirate swung at me, his face enraged as I spun to face him, an amused smirk on my face.

"Watch your tongue around the Cap'n!" I dodged again when he leapt at me, swinging myself over his back and lodging my knee into the small of it, pressing hard. My other hand, glowing red, gripped the wrist of his sword arm and I tightened my hold, causing him to drop his sword with a soft cry.

"Don't tell me what to do." I hissed out, smirking when I felt the fear coming off him. I twisted his wrist, refraining from breaking it as I wasn't going to be that cruel. I pushed him away from me, letting him sprawl on the dirt as I turned to face a stony looking Hook. "So, I'm not to be harmed, am I?"

His dark gaze narrowed but he set nothing, his lips pressed into a thin line. I stole a glance at the rest of the men, gratified that their expressions were much more wary than before.

I'd been here for five years with a bunch of overactive boys, I was bound to pick up something. My magic could handle pretty much anything but, strangely, I had ha fun learning how to fight with Felix and Luca, though the later was terrified of practicing with me as it involved touching me.

Which didn't exactly make Luca feel safe, considering how possessive of me Peter had become since we returned from our disastrous trip to the Enchanted Forest. Felix was the only lost boy that could be around me constantly and not receive death stares from Peter.

I still wasn't sure why he was so on edge, as it had never bothered him before if I'd spent time with the others, though I rarely did that, preferring to seek out Bae's company or be by myself more often than not. But, ever since we'd run into Rumple in the Enchanted Forest and, since my decision to return to Neverland, Peter had been increasingly, and annoyingly, possessive and almost smothering.

He'd track me down and be with me almost the entire day, not counting during the nighttime. Before, he used to slip into my bed a few times a week but now, he'd suddenly decided that I needed to be with him all hours of the day, including when I was unconscious.

I'd usually wake up in the middle of the night to find him simply staring at me, holding me while I slept, though I rarely if ever stayed awake long enough to try and kick him out of my bed. The one time I had, we'd been in his bed so he'd completely disregarded my comment and somehow made me fall back asleep in record time.

I was almost positive that he used a sleeping spell.

"Lass, just please, come with me." Hook nearly begged, shaking me out of my musings and I stared hard at him, unwilling to go anywhere with him. His good hand was still extended and I glanced at it dispassionately, keeping my gaze and voice free from the anger building inside of me.

"So I can be used as a bargaining chip against Pan?" I sneered at the taller man, baring my teeth angrily. "I'd sooner rip out my own heart."

"Let's not be too hasty." My lips curled into a smirk as Hook's face paled, Peter slowly stepping towards the silent Captain. "after all, I quite like her with a heart." He stopped right behind Hook, smirking darkly. "What about you, Killian?"

Hook remained silent and Peter stalked past him, stepping into the circle and coming to my side. He placed his hand on my shoulder, facing the older man with a charming smirk, completely ignoring the rest of the pirates that were threateningly holding their weapons. Peter glanced at me, his eyebrow raising.

"I thought you were going for a walk?" I shrugged demurely, holding back a chuckle when he rolled his eyes playfully, his arm sliding from my shoulder to my waist.

"I got a bit sidetracked, if you couldn't tell." I turned my attention back to Hook, ignoring the pirates that were slowly lumbering towards Peter and I. I snorted inwardly at that, as they clearly thought they were being sneaky.

"So, any reason you're trying to take my lost girl from me?" Peter glanced at Hook, tilting his head mockingly as a smirked slid onto his face. Hook's eyes narrowed, glittering angrily at the smug boy beside me before he turned his kohl rimmed eyes to me.

"Well, last I checked she didn't exactly respond well to being called 'yours', Pan." I glanced at Peter from the corner of my eye when the hand on my waist stiffened and, sure enough, his pale face was tight, cold fury lining every inch of it.

"Well, as you can see," his grip tightened even more, his voice low and threatening. "Things change."

"Aye, that they do." Hook nodded once and I jumped away from Peter, transporting myself behind the man that had just tried to run me through.

"Over here." I teased, ducking when he swiped at me before I reached up, catching the sword with glowing hands and ripping it from his grasp. He stared at me in shock and I simply smiled in response before I pulled my dagger out and sprang at him, catching his cheek with the small blade.

He hissed out in pain before he reached for me with a dagger of his own, earning a short sneer from me before I waved my hand, sending him back several paces and into a bush.

Which, thankfully, wasn't a patch of dreamshade.

I whirled around at the sound of footsteps and, with a wave of my hand, the charging pirate was flung backwards with a burst of pink light. Peter was currently toying with three of the pirates and I jerked around when a hand covered my mouth, struggling wildly when Hook brought me to his chest.

"Shh, lass." He grunted, struggling to hold me as I twisted in his grip, giving up and closing my eyes, allowing my magic to fight for me as I knew I wasn't stronger than him without it. Another burst of pink and Hook was sent flying behind me, landing on the ground with a sharp exhale of pain.

He groaned loudly, forcing himself up and focusing dazed eyes on me. I rolled my eyes inwardly, getting rather bored with the current fight and I tensed when I felt a body behind me, though a quick check told me it was just Peter.

"Well, thank you for the lovely evening, Killian." Peter mockingly nodded his head at the still dazed pirate, an amused smirk in place. "But, we really must be going now."

Before I could react, arms snaked out and hooked around my waist, tugging me against Peter's lean body, Killian's eyes the last thing I saw before Peter took us away from the clearing.

We didn't return to the camp like I expected, as it was the safest place on the island for me, but instead we ended up in a now familiar cove. I peeked over my shoulder at Peter and nearly let out a shriek when his mouth covered mine, his grip tightening as he spun me around to face him.

Unable to do anything else as his arms felt like something akin to steel around my waist, I slid my arms around his neck, my fingers tangling in the hair at the nape of his neck.

After what felt like hours, he broke away from my mouth, panting harshly as he rested his forehead against mine, a smirk crawling up his face.

"If only you knew what seeing you fight does to me." I raised an eyebrow in response, I had a pretty good idea as every time he was able to see me fight, he'd spirit me away to this cove so we could be alone. His fingers untangled themselves from my hair, gently playing with the feathers Felix had attached to the strands. "Or seeing these in your hair."

I rolled my eyes, a small, faint smile fighting its way onto my lips. Peter had may no qualms about how much he liked the feathers, stating it made me look like i belonged to Neverland even more, which hadn't exactly sat well with me but I hadn't complained about it, as it would probably just lead to another fight.

"Well, why don't you show me." I challenged, my mouth snapping shut as I realized what I'd just done. Peter's eyes narrowed, an odd glint entering them as he smirked predatory, leaning forward and pressing me against the rock behind us, his arms caging me against him.

"Oh, don't worry," he feathered his lips across mine, his hands gently sliding down my body, earning a violent shiver from me.

"I will."
