A/N: Sup lovelies! I am officially back and I have a new chapter. Sorry for my unexpected hiatus but my summer has been sh*t and I needed a computer break for some family hang time. I've come to the realization that the way I ended the last chapter was bad and then I totally left you guys hanging but don't be sad because I have the next part.

If it was any consolation, Miyako could admit that what she was doing had been wrong as she continued to hold Kaname closer. She felt disgusted with herself as the thick, spicy, yet oddly sweet blood descended down her burning throat. As she became more aware of her actions, Miyako's green eyes closed tighter. The dark haired girl did not like this one bit; However, this was a essential to her well being.

The raven haired pureblood drank so much that at some point she thought she was killing the other pureblood but Kuran was nowhere near stupid to let such a thing happen. Miyako did in fact want the brunette out of her way, yet not in such a disgusting fashion. There would be enough time for these silly games that they played with one another. Right now all she cared for was regaining her strength. She should have cared less about how one of Kuran's hands held a strong rip on her waistline while the other slid dangerously up to the nape of her neck, caressing the soft hairs there.

To an outsider they must have surely looked like a lovers.

Miyako froze as the smell of roses infiltrated her nose. She quickly pulled away from Kaname's hold with a look of clear horror on her face. The green eyed girl could not believe what she had allowed herself to do. She let herself get lost in the moment with an enemy, one that she did not like, one that she surely hated. Of course?

From the small sliver of moonlight that peeked through the drapes of the bedroom, Miyako could see that Kuran was just as shocked as he looked down at his hands which had not too long ago been silently caressing her. Miyako watched as his slender fingers went to the fang bites to his neck, they were already healing. The raven haired girl was shaking as she slowly backed away from the brunette. Kaname noticed the girl's slow retreat and looked up at her, his eyes near bright red.

Panic, alarm, and anger were evident in Miyako's gaze as she got off of the bed and walked steadily to the door. The brunette wanted to say something but he could not understand what had transpired himself. Their gazes locked with neither one of them saying a thing.

A deafening silence filled the large room.

Miyako was the first to break it. Her green eyes hardened and her countenance became cold. She wiped the blood from her mouth with the back of her hand , looked at the red stain on her skin, sneered at it, then turned a glare to the brunette. "This will never happen again. I had a moment of weakness is all, I could have waited. You should have stopped me."

A deep humorless chuckle escaped Kaname's throat as he was taken from his stupor at her words. He turned red eyes to the glaring raven haired girl. " You sound just like Kiryuu, accusing others for your own faults. But you are right, I could have stopped you but really are you trying to convince me or yourself that this was a moment of weakness."

"I could have killed you" Miyako pointed out.

"Yes, you could have. It was the perfect chance so why didn't you?"

"It wasn't the right time."

"Oh, so you do plan on killing me at some point?" Kaname was honestly curious. This was easier for him, the banter between him and her. He could not allow himself to get close to her again like that because she could have killed him.

"It's none of your business." Miyako answered after a long minute. She turned towards the doors. " I will go with you to the council meeting. Also, I think you should be preparing what to tell the other night class students. I am sure the smell of your blood has put them into a frenzy." The raven haired girl retreated from the room, Kaname noted that she was slightly trembling.

At the click of the door, the brunette went to his bathroom. Everything was more strenuous with Miyako Takamiya around now. Kaname turned on the faucet, allowing cool water to run. As he looked into the mirror at his glowing red eyes, his throat burned. He always had a tight grip on his blood lust but as the smell of roses came back to him he did not wish for blood tablets. The brunette quickly grabbed the glass sitting idly on the counter, put water in it, and dropped in three tablets.

As soon as the water changed to red, the brunette eagerly gulped down the blood substitute. Slamming the glass back on the table hard enough for it to shatter, Kaname closed his eyes tight. The burn in his throat had turned to a mere itch.

The brunette turned the faucet off and let a bare sigh escape. For now he would be fine but now he thirsted for a more special blood. The pureblood prince could not think more on the subject as he felt the rising emotions of his Night Class students.

The lithe male walked from the bathroom as if nothing was wrong, quickly making up a lie to tell the others. A glance through the thin slit in the drapes told him that day would be shortly closing in. As a good Dorm President, he could not have everyone at an unrest.
