Chapter 25: results of infiltration

Glaceon:

It was 9am, 4th of November, and I woke up nice and comfortable. Sylveon was right next to me and I liked the feeling of having him close to me. I kissed his forehead, since he was still asleep, and went to the other room to look for breakfast. I saw Nei and Josh in Team Rocket uniforms so I went to them and sat next to Nei and an empty seat. It was about 10 minutes after I arrived that Sylveon sat next to me, yawning.

Me and Sylveon had pokeblocks and afew puffins for breakfast while Nei and Josh had sandwiches. Josh had on a black hat to suite Team Rockets uniform while Nei put her hair in pigtails wearing the same type of hat as Josh. Sylveon ate and giggled at me as I was drooling onto my food. It was now 10 am and we were ready to go back in. It was much easier to sneak in, with Mew following us out of curiosity. I noticed Mew was close to me and Sylveon, probably worried about being captured. So Mew transformed into a rattata as to avoid suspicion.

We got into the file room where all of the operations that has been carried out, like Halt and Shifting Breeze, and we read parts of it to find why they were doing it. I found a file and passed it to Nei. She said to Josh "looks like this is it. they are planning to take and gain power from Mew and Celebi so they can have control over time and win the battles again the elite 4 and the champion"

Me and Sylveon looked confused until Josh explained "that means that pokemon trainers everywhere would know about this via the radio tower and out of fear not challenge their authority" I understood this.

Nei continued "with no one to challenge them, they can hunt for more legendary pokemon to sell on the black market for a profit and maintain that sense of fear among other trainers" Just hearing all of that to be their motive make me so angry I could barely control it. Sylveon hugged me as to calm me down, which it did, and comfort my feelings of sympathy toward the pokemon being used like they meant nothing. Nei said "that means we have to defeat them thoroughly here before we can head to where they are doing this"

Josh looked at the file and pointed to the map part of it saying "they are preparing this at Mount Silver, so once we have done what we need to, we'll fly to there to put a stop to them once and for all"

Nei nodded and me and Sylveon asked at the same time "wait, if you guys could fly to these locations then why didn't you do it sooner?" Josh looked at Nei and nodded as if they had the same reason.

Nei told us "we knew that you, Glaceon, have trouble opening up to other people and other pokemon. Me walking with you was my way of getting you to open us to people you can trust and play with pokemon you feel comfortable with. You did have fun at the national park right?"

I did have fun at the park, it felt weird but nice. Josh continued "I wanted to get to know Sylveon more and the best way to do that is by travel, wouldn't you agree?" Sylveon nodded slowly as we both realised, we both have grown and changed for the better. It was good, nothing went bad and change happened. Maybe time could heal wounds so then all the trapped pokemon need someone to depend on. Me and Sylveon both decided to go free the pokemon while Nei and Josh fought the leaders of Team Rocket that were in the radio tower.

Nei:

Looking at the report, it says that the person in charge of the projects being held at Mount Silver was proton. The Mew, which was still in the form of a rattata, wondered up to the observation deck. Josh followed Mew with Sylveon while I took Glaceon into a room where there were two people standing. One looked like a petty thug while the other looked like a higher up, a stronger more elite member of Team Rocket. She wore a white dress with a belt around the waist. She also had long red hair up in a high pony tail.

I knew they were exactly newbie's at this so I had to tread carefully and make sure that they don't know what hit them. As I got close enough to them, the alarm sounded sharply throughout the whole tower.

The alarm called out "red alert, red alert, intruders in the observation deck. All elite members take out enemy without hesitation. Repeat red alert"

I was worried when they both looked at me. The woman was wearing a name badge, her name was Ariana and her partner was wearing a name badge too. He went by the name of Petrel, weird name but hey, Ariana looked at me and said "I won't be going; there is too many important things to be doing here"

Petrel nodded in agreement as Ariana held a pokeball and sent out arbok. She grinned and said "you cannot fool me miss, I know all of the members assigned to this tower and you're not a member" Petrel and I looked surprised. She looked at Petrel and said "I order you to leave this to me, I will eliminate this vermin" I was worried and sent out Blastoise. Petrel just stood to one side as she went on "I knew it, you're planning to recapture the tower. We won't let you do that nor will we go down easy"

I knew this to be true based on how easily she figured it all out and based on her willingness to attack. I said to her "it doesn't matter, as long as I can have even the smallest chance to rid the world of scum like you, I don't care what happens to me" I sounded confident but deep down I knew this might end badly.
