Chapter 25: A little Good

A little over a month had passed since Olivia had shot Tucker and since she got Vera back. Cragen told her he didn't think anyone would investigate. She didn't really care if they would; Tucker deserved more then what she gave him.

Olivia was laying on the couch as Vera and Kaden played on the floor. She rubbed her belly, she had an ultrasound today and she hoped that everything went good. She needed something good. She was waiting for Elliot to come home early. He had been very supportive and loving since everything and she really needed that.

Elliot walked in and leaned over the couch, kissing Olivia quickly.

"Hi baby. How is your day so far?" He asked as he handed Vera and Kaden their shoes.

"Good. I just hope this appointment goes well." She said as she sat up, pulling her sweat shirt on.

He smiles and kisses her forehead. Kaden grabs Elliot's hand and Vera runs over to Olivia, holding her hand. They walk out to the car and head to the doctors.

Olivia shook her leg as she sat in the waiting room. She could tell she was more nervous than normal, but with the year she was having she felt she was allowed to be.

"Olivia." The nurse smiled.

Olivia stood up and Elliot followed. They had dropped Kaden and Vera off at Grant's moms. She had a lot to say about Grant and how he was acting.

Olivia laid back on the table and Elliot sat beside her, holding her hand.

"Olivia, calm down. I'm sure everything will be fine."

The doctor walked in and smiled. Elliot and Olivia requested a new doctor since the old one didn't even see the tumor. She sighed and the doctor sat down next to Olivia.

"Hi I'm Dr. Jones." The blonde shook their hands. "Today we are going to check everything and we may be able to see the sexes of the babies if they are in the right spot."

Dr. Jones took the jell and put some on Olivia's belly and she moved the wand around on her lower stomach. She clicked some buttons on her machine and the quiet made Olivia even more nervous.

"Well it seems they are good. They are growing a bit faster than normal but I'm sure they just want to come out faster." She laughed. "It's a girl and…" She paused as she moved the wand over a little. "and a boy! Congrats. Well everything seems better." She said and wiped Olivia's stomach.

"Thank you." Olivia sighed and smiled as the doctor walked out.

"See, things are getting better." Elliot said and kissed her hand.

Olivia was laying in bed when Elliot came home from work. Kaden and Vera were laying with her as she read them something. He smiled as he walked in and kicked his shoes off.

"Come on love bugs, bed time." Olivia said as kissed them and they ran off to their room.

Olivia went to the bathroom where Elliot was. She leaned in the door way watching him. He looked up and smiled.

"We should probably plan a baby shower soon." Elliot said as he pulled his pants off.

"Probably. I miss you." Olivia sighed as she looked at Elliot fully naked in front of her.

Elliot walks over and kisses her hard.

"The doctor said it was a small tumor and sex could be painful but it could not be. We could try." Elliot said as he pulled her nighty off.

She kissed him roughly, pushing him back towards the shower. She pushed Elliot in the shower and she pulled her panties off and climbed in with him, pushing her body against his. She missed this more than anything. Elliot grabbed her ass and pulled her closer, kissing her. Olivia could feel his erection pushing against her. She pulled away and turned around, bending over. "I have a surprise for you in the morning so we need to get some sleep." Elliot said as he climbed into bed.

Olivia dropped her towel and reached for one of Elliot's shirts and slipped it over her head. She turned and went to climb into bed.

"You make an old shirt look sexy. I wonder how you even get that perfect sometimes." He said as she cuddled into him.

"I love you Stabler."

"I love you too Benson."

She kisses his chest and falls straight to sleep.

The next morning Olivia wakes up to Elliot shaking her. She smacks him and pulls the covers back over her head.

"Liv, get your ass up."

She groans.

"You groaning isn't getting you anywhere."

She sits up and looks at him. He smiles and kisses her softly.

"Now get ready."

She groans again and gets up, going into her closet. She grabs jeans and a red button up. She gets dressed quickly and then goes and does her make-up and throws her hair up in a clip. She walks out to the living room and Elliot has some green drink sitting in her water bottle.

"What is that?" She looks at him.

"It's a health drink. Even the kids drank it. So drink and you look beautiful." He says as he kisses her forehead. "Now let's go."

Olivia looked at her clock and saw it was 12.

"I slept till 12?"

Elliot nodded and carried Vera out the door. She grabbed the green drink and followed them to the car. She helped Kaden in the car and strapped him in. She climbed in and Elliot smiled as he started the car.

"Can I ask where we are going?"

"You've been asking that, the last 15 minutes straight."

"Probably because I'd like to know!" She whined.

He pulled into a place Olivia had only seen when cops had birthday parties. She climbed out and helped Kaden.

They walked into the building and a bunch of people yelled surprise. Olivia saw it was a baby shower. She looked at Elliot and smiled. Melinda, Casey, and Alex all walked over to her and were touching her belly.

"How did you get all this done in one night?" Olivia said as Elliot wrapped his arms around her.

"It took a lot of help from everyone. I mean Cragen, Fin, Munch, and the rest of the gang was involved. But as soon as I found out what we were having I called everyone and once I told the owners of this place it was you, they made sure we could have it. I have gift for you actually."

They walked over to the table where all the gifts were and he handed her a small box. She torn the paper off of it and it was a blue velvet ring box. She opened it and saw the simple diamonded ring, yet perfect. She could tell she was crying.

"These babies have messed all my emotions up, damn." She said wiping her eyes.

Elliot and everyone else laughed. Elliot took the ring out of the box and pushed it onto her finger.

"Now I am not marrying you because I am having kids with you because we technically already have two kids together." He said looking at Vera and Kaden. "I am marrying you because we have been through so much and yet we are still standing and we are still loving each other like it's the beginning, I am marrying you because you are the love of my life and I honestly do not want to go a day without you."

Elliot dipped kissed Olivia in front of everyone and everyone clapped and whistled…
