The Master and Rose couldn't begin to check where exactly the Dalek saucer was going as a Roboman emerged from the left corridor behind them, dragging a prisoner along. The Roboman addressed the Master.
"You are the unauthorized intelligence. You must be robotised!"
"Try me." the Master responded in a cool tone. The Roboman seemed to accept the challenge and launched against him, the two brawling on the ground as Rose and Ian moved the prisoner into safety.

The Roboman, recognizing the laser screwdriver as superior technology, tackled the Master and tried to wring it out of his hands. The ancient Time Lord in youthful form was far from beaten though and instead of fighting for the screwdriver, started pulling the Roboman's helmet off instead. Fortune was with him and the poor man fell limp on the ground, still muttering: "robotised, robotised, robo..." over and over like a mantra til his brain functions ceazed.

"Craddock!" exclaimed Ian, having his first look of the dead man.
"What?" quizzed the Master, already knowing the answer.
"Jack Craddock! That man was Jack Craddock! He was taken in with the Doctor and me!"
Now the Time Lord and his companion were hooked.
"The Doctor?! The Doctor's here?! And you're his companion, aren't you?" Rose babbled.

Ian proudly straightened his tie: "Well, I wouldn't really put it like that, but..."
To pretty much everyone's annoyance, Craddock's forgotten prisoner brusquely intervened: "Look, as great as this reunion of yours is, could we please come back to the Dalek saucer that we happen to be riding in?!"

The trio were not stupid though and ducked into below the ramp housing. At least they tried to. As much as they wiggled like worms and pulled in breaths, there was simply not enough room left for the Master.
"I'm sure you can find some other place to hide." assured Ian. "This ship is pretty big."
The Master didn't need to however; he had other plans. "Look, Chesterton, the Doctor, your Doctor, is he an old man? With a black waistcoat, stripy pants and a magnifying glass on his chest?"
"That's him!"
Rose was lost: "But... that's not him. That's not the Doctor I know. My Doctor's got brown hair, sideburns, brown stripy or blue suit, sandshoes..."
"Never met him."
The Master reassured her: "Rose, the Doctor Ian described is likely an earlier version. You told me how he regenerated, did you really think it was his first time? Besides, what matters is that we have a TARDIS. We can go find number 10 no problem."
Ian was shell-shocked. "How do you know so much about the Doctor and the TARDIS?"

"We're time-travelers, like you." Rose explained. "Except that we got separated from our Doctor and now we're trying to find him."
"Fascinating! Absolutely fascinating! A hunt through space and time itself!"
"Ian, can you tell me where the TARDIS is?"
The teacher nodded. "Back in London, beside the Thames, under a bridge. Literally. It collapsed on top of the ship."

The Master clicked his tongue. "I'll talk to the Daleks, see if I can get them to remove the bridge. Rose, you stay with Ian and..."
"Larry." the prisoner put forth.
"Larry. Good. And get rid of this corpse before they notice, for heaven's sake!"
Only then did Rose, Ian and Larry remember Craddock's body was still lying on the floor. As the Master left from the same corridor the Roboman had come from, the trio looked around for a way to get rid of him.
"Most of these large rooms have what they call disposal chutes." said Larry.
Ian pointed to a large square-shaped hole in the right wall. "That?"
"Yeah. Come on, I'll give you two a hand."

Between the three of them, they got the body chucked out of the ship. Suddenly, a Dalek voice called from the speaker.
"BREAK ON SEVENTY-TWO. BREAK ON SEVENTY-TWO. REPORT ZERO FIVE FIVE ROBOMAN. FAULT."
"Now what?" breathed Rose.
"Well, if your friend can convince the Daleks to release the TARDIS, all is alright. But who is he anyway and what hold does he have on the Daleks?"
"Er..."
