Pulling Me Through Part Two
I think I might be able to update quicker. I have a system now, so hopefully it will work XD I hope everyone enjoys and please review. This chapter will jump ahead a week and a half, so it means that Black Veil Brides are coming home from tour.
Chapter Twenty-Five
Andy's POV
I felt just like I did when Riley was going home. My whole body itched to be able to see my home again and see Sammi, Sandra and Bailey, but it was almost needed for me to be able to see Riley. My head felt like it was going to explode if I didn't get to see Riley any longer than I had already waited. I longed to feel her arms around my neck as I kissed her into oblivion.
The streets were beginning to look familiar as we drove further into the heart of Ohio. Riley was getting closer every second of driving we done. I half wished that I could see how she was acting to see if she was practically being the same as me. Something told me that she probably wouldn't look as bad as I did with my face pressed up against the glass, hoping to see someone that I knew. It never happened.
Jake was sitting at the sofa, tapping his foot incessantly off of the floor as he waited. He was so eager to see Riley and Savannah again that he almost forgot about the fact that he was angry with me and gave me a half smile when he woke up. It made me feel as though I was going to topple over with the shock of it all.
The streets started to get extremely familiar as we covered the last few miles we had left. I could see the old cathedral that I had taken Riley to on one of our dates. It stood proud as it towered over all of the people who were passing it. I felt as though I could hear the familiar click of cameras as tourists took photos. The dolphin fountain was spitting out water in the middle of the town centre. I could almost smell the copper from the money people threw in, hoping to God that their wish would come true. Not long after Savannah was born, we took her here and helped her throw in some money. It was pointless, considering the fact that she didn't know what was going on and had no idea that she was supposed to make a wish.
"Hey, Andy, we're here" Jinxx said, breaking my trance. I had been so wrapped up in thinking about everything that Riley and I had done in the short year that we had had together. Damn, when I get back Savannah will be four months old and probably have a full head of hair. Okay, that was taking it a bit far, but the point still stands.
Riley's POV
I woke up early that morning, desperate to see Andy again. I was also forced to wake up early because we had planned a whole 'welcome home, Black Veil Brides' thing that we were looking forward. It was pretty much some balloons and banners with food, but it's the thought that counts. My dad was coming over as well to talk to them about tour and it had been a while since he had held Savannah, so he wanted to come over to see her as well.
Andy had sent me a text yesterday saying that he was going to be home around midday if everything went to plan. The clock ready that it was eleven: fifty-five. My palms were coated in slick sweat as I waited. My feet were bouncing off of the laminated flooring as I continued to grow restless. Even Savannah looked as though she knew that something important was happening.
"Are they here yet?" Sandra asked. She was sitting right next to me and looking out of the exact same window that I was looking out of. Was she being serious?
"Sandra, I don't use The Force to figure out if they're coming down the street" I said in a sarcastic manner. "You know just as much as me." I was in quite a bitter mood because Arianna was also here. She met up with me because she wanted to see Jake again before she went back to work in the cafe that we stopped off at.
"You don't have to be cruel" Sandra said as she glared hard at me. Shaking my head, I turned back to the window.
"Yeah, Riley, that was pretty uncalled for" Arianne agreed, a smirk playing at her lips. I would love to smack that bitch right across the face, but I knew that Jake would never forgive me for doing so, so I managed to hold back on the violence.
"Shut up, Arianna" I snapped. "You have no idea how important this is to me. You're not in my position."
"Yes I am. Jake is on that tour as well. It's not all about precious little Andy" She snapped back with a hard glare as she raised her plucked eyebrows at me. The smirk grew even larger, if that was even possible.
"Do you have a child with Jake?" I asked. "Have you been going out with Jake for over a year?" Her smirk fell and she looked to the floor, not having a quip for my argument. "I didn't think so."
I had been so caught up with trying to tell Arianna off, that I didn't even notice the large tour bus pull up outside off the house. I realised it when I hear a shout of:
"Ashley, get my present for Riley and the one for Savannah" It came from Andy and I could see him through the window with a happy smile marked on his face. I launched from the sofa and practically flew to the door, almost forgetting that I had to open it before getting through the hole.
Andy's POV
The door snapped open and Riley barrelled into me. She flung her arms around my neck like I had hoped and kissed me hard on the lips. They tasted just as sweet as I had remembered. They were plush and experienced and I found myself not even knowing how to kiss back. She soon pulled away, but kept her hands on my shoulders.
"I've missed you so much" She chuckled before bringing me into a hug again. I wrapped my arms around her waist and savoured the smell of her hair, her perfume and every single thing about her.
"I've missed you too" I whispered into her hair. I didn't have to be able to see her hair to know that she was smiling at my comment. Behind Riley, I could see Arianna come into view. She was wearing that sneer that I knew only too well. Jake ran past me and wrapped his arms around her quickly. He was practically smothering her, but I knew that Riley would never mind if I did that to her, but Arianne practically found it the worst thing in the world.
She pushed him off of her as she made a look of disgust before saying in a whiny voice, "Jake, you don't have to be so rough. You've only been gone for two weeks." He pulled away from her with a look of hurt, but tried to act as though it was nothing.
"Sorry, I've just missed you" He sighed, obviously in confusion about the rejection. To the right side of me, Bailey was hugging Ashley and to the left side, it was Sammi and Jinxx. Arianna was the only one who was moaning about the fact that she had to see her boyfriend again. I was pretty confident that Jake was going to see that she was a horrible person soon enough. She was so bitchy to everyone she seemed to meet.
"It's fine" She huffed. "Just don't do it again." Jake sent me a look that told me that he was beginning to understand where I was coming from with the whole 'Arianna hates us all.'
"How was tour?" Riley asked, bringing me out of Jake's world and back into my own.
"It was awesome" I answered, remembering the constant singing and the meeting of some great fans who wanted to hear all about Savannah and Riley, but it wasn't the same as it was for the first half. "It just wasn't right when you weren't there."
"It was still great, though?" She asked. I could tell that she just wanted me to have had so much fun on it.
"It was pretty damn amazing" I laughed still getting the memories off all of the shows we played. Each one was excellent in its own little way. "Where's Savannah?"
"She's in her cot in the living room" Riley answered already moving away from me and back in the doorway. "I'll just get her for you."
Riley's POV
Running through the house, I picked Savannah up as I went past before doing a full circle and hurrying straight back outside to where Andy was stood. As soon as he saw her, his mouth dropped open and he held his arms out for her.
"I swear, she's grown so much compared to the last time I saw her" He mused as he rocked her from side to side. She looked up into his eyes with absolute relief to see her dad again. She looked transfixed like how she did when she first looked into our eyes when she was born. It brought back memories and made me feel like I did after labour.
"She never stops growing" I laughed as Jake hurried over. He asked to hold her and Andy happily gave him Savannah.
"Ah, I've missed her so much" He sighed as he balanced her on his side before turning back to Arianna. "Hey, Savannah, it's your Aunt Arianna." Arianna did not look too pleased at being called an aunt.
"Jake, please keep the baby away from me" She said taking a step back. What was her problem?
"Arianna, get a grip" I sneered in her face. She was pissing me off and it was time for someone to do something about it. She can't just treat people like shit and get away with it all of the time. "She's a baby not a rabid dog."
"All babies are like rabid dogs to me" She explained as she turned her nose up at Savannah.
"Then you're in the wrong relationship because Jake is going to want children one day" Sammi argued as she turned away from Jinxx. They had obviously been listening to everything that Arianna was saying and had gotten annoyed and decided to step in.
Arianna's POV
They all stared at me as though I had something in my teeth and that I was a bug that they wanted to wipe off of their shoe. They looked like freaks as they stood in their circle. All emos except for the bratty baby in the middle. Jake was beginning to look at me as though he thought I was going crazy. I thought I had him wrapped around my little finger. All that went through my mind was suggestions of what the idiots had been saying to him to get him to turn against me. Oh, this was not going good. Riley was beginning to turn into a huge enemy for me and a one that I would happily fight with. She had a face that just screamed 'hit me.' Sammi was someone who I didn't think was going to be a problem, but she was testing my patience today. I'm going to have to get out of this relationship. Fast.
