--The Battle--
"Ready Pikachu?" The mouse leaped from Ash's shoulder and onto the field with sparks coming from his cheeks. He stared at Gardevoir as she stepped into place.
"Wait one minute!" Both Raz and Ash turned and saw Misty and Kira step out. "The match was a couples match, so I say we restart it the same way." They went to their partners sides before either answered. Ash looked saddened by not getting the match on his own. Raz kissed Kira as she stepped up.
"Whatever you want." She smiled and tossed her ball out. Gallade stood next to Gardevoir as they waited. Ash finally sighed and nodded. His wife smirked as she tossed her ball up and released Marill. Both mice looked fully ready for battle as the judge got into position.
"Let's do this, Pikachu, Thunderbolt!" The Electric mouse released a bolt that flew straight toward Gardevoir. Before she could react, Gallade grabbed her hand and spun her out of the way. It almost looked like she danced away as the blast hit.
"Cool move Gallade. Now let's use Psycho Cut!" The Fighting Psychic rushed around the field. He ran around and came up behind the mice running at full speed. Before he struck, Marill sprayed the ground with water and leaped away while Pikachu released a Thunder Wave, stopping him in his tracks.
"Nice going guys, now hit him with Water Gun Marill!" The Water mouse sprayed powerfully at the stunned foe. Just before it could hit, Gardevoir teleported in and away with Gallade. He nodded to her in thanks as she stared at him as the stunning electricity faded. The crowd watched as the match had seen a few powerful attacks, but no one had been really hit yet.
"Gardevoir, let's try something new." As Raz spoke, a plan formed in his head. His partner read it and smiled. She passed it instantly onto Gallade before they started. She grabbed his back and they teleported instantly. Both Pikachu and Marill watched around as they reappeared and disappeared again before doing it again.
"Pikachu, don't let them get you. Use Thunder Wave!" He followed his partners orders and tried to release the waves as the opponents appeared, but they were gone instantly before being hit.
"Marill, fire your Water Gun in other spots!" As they both shot their attacks, Gallade and Gardevoir appeared between them. He slashed at the Water poke while she picked Pikachu up with Psychic and threw him across the field. They separated to fight their own battles at that point, with Gallade going after Pikachu instead of Marill and Gardevoir going after her.
"Gallade, Psycho Cut!" With his blades glowing purple, the Fighting Psychic lunged at the mouse and swung wildly. Pikachu easily dodged them and weaved in and out of the attacks. Ash watched as his partner's years of experience helped him to easily avoid being hit.
"Pikachu, Iron Tail!" As his tail began to glow with a silvery light, Pikachu leaped over his foe before slamming hit tail into him, sending him flying. As he crashed down, Gardevoir saw and began an assault on her opponent.
Without having to speak any commands, Raz watched as his thoughts were turned instantly into action. She started teleporting and hitting the mouse with Psybeam, but never used it with a great deal of power. After she did that a few times, Misty could see why she wasn't using a lot of power. Her quick teleporting was beginning to glow reddish as she was also using Calm Mind.
"Marill, use Rollout and try to hit her quickly!" Her poke nodded before spinning quickly and plowing around the field. She came close as her spin went on, but always missed. Now the faint red was a bright and glowing red.
She stopped teleporting a little ways away from the spinning poke. Her arm raised as Marill began a quick rush toward her. Just as the foe was in point-blank range, Gardevoir released her blast. The giant red beam engulfed half the arena, almost hitting Pikachu at the same time. The blast continued for a few moments before ultimately fading away. Marill was embedded into a wall as her eyes rolled. The match had quickly turned into a 1-on-1 with Pikachu and Gardevoir still standing.
"Guess we do get it as a singles match." Ash let a wide grin grow across his face as Misty recalled her partner. Raz had a similar smile as Kira sighed while holding Gallade's ball.
"Guess so. Let's begin then, Psybeam!"
"Thunderbolt!"
Both attacks seemed to move in slow motion as they went straight at each other. They collided in midair and started combining. The center of impact swayed toward both Pokemon as they each pushed harder and harder.
"Come on Pikachu, you got this!"
"You can do it Gardevoir!"
Both trainer continued to call encouragement toward their partners as the center continued to sway, but with less vigorousness. The center slowly stopped moving all together as both of the blasters pushed to their limits. Before anyone could see what was going on, they both stopped at the same time and fell to their knees.
They stared at each other while gathering everything they had left. They had spent almost all their energy in the collision and didn't have a lot left. After they both had all that was left, they fired once more. The bolt and beam passed in the air as each continued toward their target. Both fell as they were hit by the opposing blast. Neither even made an attempt to get up as the judged raised the flags.
"All Pokemon are unable to battle, the match is a draw." As he called it, both Raz and Ash jumped over the rail and went to their partners. Raz knelt down next to Gardevoir as she laughed.
"Guess I didn't quite manage my power output enough." He stared at her before picking her up. She leaned into him to be more comfortable as they turned to go to the back. Kira was coming toward them as they started toward the exit. Ash had Pikachu in his arms as they passed each other.
"That was some match." The champ looked as Raz laughed a little before looking at him.
"We'll have to see what happens with these 2 at full power in a singles match one day." With that, they both nodded and exited, knowing that one day, they would have to do that match.
--The Wedding--
"Nami outdid herself." Raz looked around the Hightide Estate at all the wedding decorations that Nami had put together. People were just arriving and taking their seats. Zion stood next to him in an actual suit, which made everyone that knew him laugh. It was dark blue with white trims. Ken looked almost the same as normal, except his clothes were black with his cloak and eye-cloth being white. Leon made up the last of the human groomsmen as Raz and Kira had gotten him and Kara to join as thanks for helping them so much and being good friends. His was a black suit and shirt with a white tie. Gallade had been picked to be one as well since Gardevoir was Kira's maid of honor and would need a dance partner able to keep up with her.
"I wouldn't let mom hear you say that, she may try and do more." They all laughed as they continued to watch the people come in. They had taken to sitting at a table in the back until it was time to begin. The girls were still rushing in and out from time to time, as they frantically grabbed something and ran back out. The boys all wondered what was so stressful about this.
--
"Almost done." Nami stepped back as she finished adjusting the white veil on Kira's head. It looked almost web-like and went down to her neck when pulled over. Her dress had a similar web-like design on the tail while the rest was a shining white that showed light bouncing off. With it she was wearing long gloves that went to her elbows and plain white shoes. They decided not to use heels when she fell over after every few steps and almost broke her neck one time. The dress went down enough to hide it anyways.
"You've done so much for us." Kira almost started crying as she looked at her adopted mother. The older woman smiled as she dabbed at the girl's eyes.
"No crying, this is supposed to be one of the happiest days of your life. And I've done nothing more then any rich mother would do for her child. Both of you deserve even more." As she finished, Gardevoir came in.
"It's almost time. Are you ready?" She looked at her sister as she nervously nodded. The poke thought for a second before smiling. She nodded back and left to get the other girls ready.
They were all in the hall. They had gone more traditional with wearing dresses that were similar to the maid of honor. Since that was Gardevoir, they were wearing white dresses with green down the middle of the lower section in an upside down V. Kir was with them since she was the flower girl. Her smaller version of their dress made Kira smile at the cuteness of it. The fact she had green hair only helped with that thought.
"Alright then, I'm going to go to my seat. Spark should be here soon to escort you. He was so happy when you asked him to do it." This time Nami was almost crying as she left. Almost as soon as she left, the groomsmen came in to be escorts. Spark was right behind them as the music started. He looked as nervous as the bride.
"Didn't think I would be doing this for a few more years. I'm ready though. You 2 just remember to behave yourselves." He looked sternly at Zion and Sara as they slipped a piece of paper between them. He thought they looked far too innocent, but figured they wouldn't do anything. Not on a day like this.
"I think I've been ready for today since the day he asked me. If you want to wait for Sara to do it with her though I under-" She cut off when he looked at her like she was crazy. She hadn't been serious about him leaving anyways, so she giggled a little as the music that was the cue for the bridesmaids and groomsmen began.
Gardevoir and Zion had to be together for that since he was the best man and she was the maid of honor. Gallade and Rayne followed behind them. Then it was Sara and Ken followed by Leon and Kara. She was almost hopping with excitement at it while he just shook his head at her. Once they were down the aisle, Kir came out. Most of the people watched as she stepped and dropped the flowers without reaching for them. Raz watched her as she finished and then sat next to her grandmother.
The audience grew quiet as the music for the bride began. Kira and Spark stepped up to the doorway with one final nervous glance before taking the walk. As they went, she found herself avoiding looking at Raz. She looked around without turning her head to the people in the room that were standing as she went. One aisle had some of the gym leaders like the sensational sisters, Lt. Surge, Erika, and Koga. Janine was next to him and smiled as Kira passed. These were the ones in Kanto they had gotten closer to then just opponents.
On the opposite side of them were Falkner, Bugsy, Whitney, and Morty with Brass. They were all just as close from the battles in Johto. In the seats behind Nami and Kir were Ash and Misty. They were as close as any of the gym leaders, if not a little closer from the time they spent together after the battle in the Silver Conference. Once she saw Nami and Kir, she knew there was only one person she still needed to see.
Her breath went away as she looked at her soon to be husband. His suit was black with a silver undershirt. His hair was slicked back and his metal half of his face was almost glowing. He took her hands as Spark reached them to him and stepped back. He sat down next to Nami while putting Kir on his lap. The couple steeped up to a slightly raised area with the preacher on it.
He was a man that Ash and Misty had been wed by. He only got the permit to wed them because they had been friends for so long, and it had been his only wedding. Raz recalled his name being Brock and that he used to be the Pewter City gym leader.
"We are gathered her today to join in holy union Razal Psychosi and Kira Hightide. The couple have written their own vows that they will now say." He looked at Raz to begin.
"Kira, since the day we saved you, I knew what I felt. For me, it was true love at first sight. I can promise you that the love I have felt since that day has never and will never diminish. I will always be there for you, and will never let anyone harm you in any way. I promise to love you for forever." Kira almost teared up before remembering that this wasn't near the time to do so. Brock turned to her so she could begin.
"Raz, I've felt this way since that first meeting. It was what caused me to want to run and even sent me into some dark points. The love I felt for you has gotten me through those times, and now I know that it will get me through even more in the future. I love you, and always will. For as long as I draw breath and beyond that, I will be yours." Both could feel warmth growing throughout their entire bodies as they finished.
"The rings." Zion pulled out a pair of golden bands with silver spiraling them that the couple had picked out. He handed them to Brock quickly to continue. He handed them to the couple so they could continue. "Razal, please place the ring on Kira's hand and repeat after me. With this ring, I thee wed."
"With this ring, I thee wed." He put the ring on her and smiled as she stared at him with a similar smile on her face.
"Kira, please place the ring on Razal's hand and repeat after me. With this ring, I thee wed."
"With this ring, I thee wed." She pushed the ring onto his finger before looking at him while Brock finished.
"I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride." Raz pulled her up and tenderly kissed her. They held it for a few moments before turning to the cheering crowd. They smiled at them as they walked back down the aisle to get ready for the reception. That part didn't matter to them though. They kissed again when they were out of sight.
"Forever." Kira smiled before going into a more passionate kiss before they went to get ready. They both smiled as they knew the word meant exactly that for them. They would be together forever.
--The Letters--
"It feels good to be back. Don't you think Mrs. Psychotide?" Kira smiled at the last name they had changed to. It was theirs for forever. They walked into the Hightide estate set their bags down. It had been almost a month since the wedding, and they were anxious to see their friends and family. They had left all their Pokemon and Kir with Nami for the honeymoon, which Nami paid for them. The house was quiet and dark, like no one had been in it all day.
"Where is everyone?" They walked around the rooms but found they looked the exact same. It wasn't until they passed through the kitchen again that they saw a note attached to the refrigerator. It was in Zion's slop he claimed to be writing.
Raz and Kira, If your reading this then you got home and we aren't there. We'll be back soon, so don't worry. We got some mail you might wanna look at. It's on the table, and it kinda explains why we had to go get cakes and stuff. See ya when we get in. Zi.
"I need to teach that boy how to write a little neater. At least it was all readable." Raz sighed before picking up the letters addressed to him and Kira. He opened his quickly while she got some soda and listened for him to finish. He started laughing as soon as he finished.
"What is it?" He smiled as he looked at her.
"Ready for some more contests? These are our invites to the Hoenn league, and we get something cool from them for being a famous group apparently. Kir has also been invited. She gets to get a starter Pokemon from the professor there." They both thought about the little girl being the youngest trainer ever. The thought was too much to pass up as they knew what they were going to do.
"Time to begin again. And this time, no Rockets. They don't have any bases in Hoenn because of something they kept calling Aqua and Magma." The thoughts of no more Team Rocket and having to fear for their lives filled both with joy.
"Time for some fun then."

"Ring ring. Ring ring."
"Hey boss, it's Eddy. The tapes have been reviewed from the incident at the Johto base. He's stronger then we thought.
"Yes we are developing it now. It'll be ready by the time we need to use it.
"Yes, the Ian unit was destroyed. We will be able to improve any other units from the data collected from it.
"We will contact them as soon as we are done with it. All 3 teams want this technology, so they should be willing to work together.
"I will sir. Goodnight Giovanni sir." "Click."

"Ring ring."
"Yea I just called him. He knows enough to be satisfied for a little while. He's disappointed by the results though.
"Yes, he's going to contact the groups in Hoenn as well as Sinnoh. This is going to be a big operation over such a single specimen.
"I understand his power is great from your father and Giovanni making him that way, but your father did kick him out of the house because of something he thought failed didn't he?
"I'm sorry sir, I won't do it again. I'll inform you when the other Ian units are ready.
"Thank you sir. Have a safe trip to Hoenn Ian sir, the clones should be almost done when you arrive. Goodnight." "Click"
