Isabella appeared in front of Caroline with an amused smirk on her face."Aw, little Caroline's trying to be rebel." She cooed. "That's sooo cute."

"You're too late Isa, I already sent it," Caroline said, feeling oddly brave. "There's nothing you can do."

Isa laughed. "Did you really think you actually thought of that on your own?" Isa asked. "I'm the one who planted that thought there Caroline. I control you."

Caroline narrowed her eyes. "Why would you purposely make me tell my friends about you?" Caroline asked.

"It's sad, really, having to watch you try and figure me out." Isa sneered. "Honestly little girl, did you really think that after waiting and plotting my revenge for years, all I would do is threaten people?"

"Not happening. Damon will pay. And I know exactly how to make him." Isa grinned. "Watch out girly. You're being attacked."

"Unexpected."

"Did you just get a text from Caroline?" Bonnie asked.

"Yeah," Harry nodded. "I'm assuming you did too since you're asking."

"You're assuming correctly," Bonnie said. "Hmm, that's weird."

"What?"

"It says she also sent it to Elena and Stefan." Bonnie noted.

"How do you know?"

"My phone can tell if a message is sent to more than one person. Since I have their numbers, their names show up," Bonnie explained.

"I don't know how to explain this in a text but I'll do my best. The new girlfriend is the one that's been threatening you Harry. She wants to break up your relationship. Damon + Stefan can explain why, she knew them way back when. Warning: the house is crawling with bugs. The girlfriend is insane. She speaks of forever and death. No text backs." Harry read aloud, a frown forming on his face.

"Well that was highly unsatisfying," Bonnie said.

"What do you mean?"

"You aren't a reader, you wouldn't get it," Bonnie shook her head. "Anyways, the text is simple and yet not. Like the new girlfriend is obviously Isa. But, the house is crawling with bugs? What's that about?"

"It means the house is bugged," Harry explained. "And the house is probably Damon's house."

"This still makes no sense." Bonnie said in a frustrated tone.

"We need to go to Elena's house," Harry told her. "Call her and tell her we're on our way. I'll text Damon."

"Why?"

"Obviously, there's some history between them that we need to know about." Harry said, already typing out the text to Damon. He hit send then turned to Bonnie's grandmother. He let out a noise surprise when she wasn't there. "Um, Bonnie, where's your grandma?" Harry asked.

"She probably left while you were reading the text, she does that sometimes. It's uncanny how quiet she is." Bonnie said, pressing her phone against her ear. "Hey, Elena, is Stefan still over there?"

"Okay, good. Tell him to stay there; Harry and I are on our way over. Damon's coming too." Bonnie said. "Alright, see you in a little bit." Bonnie hung up and turned to Harry.

"Did he reply?"

"Yeah, he'll be there. Come on then."

Zombieland was forgotten as Elena and Stefan waited for Bonnie and Harry to show up. The door opened and Damon walked in wearing a frown. His eyes scanned the whole room before stopping on Stefan. "Where's Harry?"

"Not here yet," Elena said. "He and Bonnie should be here any minute."

Damon sighed and sat down. A few long minutes later, Damon heard the sound of a car pulling up. Stefan, ignoring Elena's confused expression, went to open the door. Damon stood when Harry walked in.

"You," Harry frowned at him. "You have a lot of explaining to do."

"So does Stefan," Bonnie chimed. "He's not innocent either."

"Right," Harry said.

"Before Damon talks, I need to confess some things to Elena." Stefan said, looking at everything but her.

Harry immediately knew what he was talking about. "Do you want us to go or..?"

"No, you can stay," Stefan said.

Elena, who'd gotten tired of looking confused, came to stand in front of Stefan. "Stefan what's going on?" She asked. "You can tell me anything, remember?"

"So, you know how I told you that I was 17 years old?" Stefan said. Elena nodded. "Well I technically lied. I'm 163 years old."

Elena laughed. "No you're not, come on be serious."

"I am, I was born in 1847." Stefan said.

"You'd be dead if you were born in 1847," Elena said. "Come on Stefan, tell me!"

"Elena...I'm a vampire."

Everyone was quiet.

"You're not serious," Elena said incredously. Stefan just nodded. Elena was quiet for a few moments. "When were you gonna tell me?"

Stefan didn't say anything.

"When Stefan? When you couldn't pretend to be human anymore? When you hungry and I was the only option? WHEN?" Elena shouted.

"I would never do that!" Stefan had to reply. "I don't drink human blood, I-"

"I don't believe you." Elena cut him off.

"He's telling the truth Elena," Harry told her. "He drinks strictly animal blood."

"I've been trying to get him to switch for a while now," Damon said. "Human blood is WAY better."

"You're not helping Damon," Stefan practically hissed.

"Just stating facts." Damon shrugged.

"Wait, you knew about this Harry?" Elena realized. "And you didn't tell me?"

"It wasn't my secret to tell." Harry said.

"Anything else you guys haven't told me?" Elena practically yelled.

"Well, I'm a wizard," Harry said. "But that's just me."

"This is insane, I've stepped into a fantasy book." Elena shook her head.

"Don't forget about Katherine," Damon said. "It's better to do it now." Damon put his hands up when Stefan glared at him.

"Yeah," Stefan slowly started grinning. "You're right. As long as we're telling secrets right?"

Elena looked between them. "What now?"

"Well, Elena, as you know Katherine was my ex-girlfriend. But what you don't know is that she is also Damon's ex-girlfriend."

"What?" Harry and Elena said.

"You dated Katherine?" Harry asked Damon.

Damon nodded slowly. "Explain, now." Harry said.

"First, you must understand that when we were human Damon and I were very close, even though he was six years older. So, of course, we had the same taste. I met her first, because Damon was in the army, but he met her soon after. She flirted with both us, but allowed me to take her to the Founders Ball. After the ball, I confessed my love to her. She was surprised but happy. When we were, um, doing things she bit me. I didn't notice until the next morning when I started remembering. I was scared of her and, to calm me down, she compelled me to not be afraid of her."

"I did not have the same reaction," Damon said. "I accepted her without question, even going as far as to drink her blood. She even showed me a few of her tricks to get some blood."

"I was in deep," Damon shook his head. "I planned on spending eternity with her. So I begged Stefan to keep her secret from our father, who was a vampire-hater. But he told him anways!" Damon glared at Stefan.

"I didn't do it on purpose!" Stefan defended himself. "He drugged me with vervain and when she bit me later that night, she fell. Father came in and ordered her to be captured. I felt incredibly guilty so I promised Damon that I would help him get her back."

"We almost got away with it. We got her out of the cage but when we were about to leave, Damon was shot. I was...shocked. And livid and overwhelmed with grief, so I picked up the gun to shoot them back but before I could I was also shot."

"When I woke up the next morning, I had the pleasure of seeing the townspeople dragging Katherine into the church and setting it on fire."

"When I woke up, I noticed that I was completely healed and that I was wearing a large silver ring with the Salvatore crest on it. Emily Bennett, you ancestor Bonnie, came to me and told me that Katherine had told her to make the ring for me and Damon. She also told me that Damon and I were transitioning into a vampire."

"I thought it was impossible because I'd never drunken Katherine's blood. Then Emily revealed that Katherine had been compelling me to drink her blood for weeks. I went to my father who was shocked to see that I was alive. He told me that he was the one who'd shot us then tried to stake me, even when I told him I wasn't fully turned, and that I was choosing to die. I threw him into the wall, but I was to strong and he accidentely stabbed himself with the wooden stake. I pulled the stake out in an attempt to help him, but the smell of blood was to strong and I drunk some completing the transition."

"I was planning to die also. Why would I live? My reason for living was gone. Stefan then came to me, harping about how being a vampire was wonderful. He said that it was a gift, how he could turn off his emotions. He'd compelled a girl to come with him and tried to convince me to drink from her. I refused at first, but Stefan wouldn't let it go, he wouldn't let me die. I relented after some time. And I told him that he was right, that it was wonderful being a vampire."

"I thought this meant that we could be companions forever, but-"

"I was to angry. I was mad that Katherine had planned to turn him, instead of just me. I told him that I would make his life miserable for the rest of eternity."

"I went on a rampage. I was emotionally numb, only feeling guilt for what I did to Damon and my father. I killed members of The Founding Families out of revenge for Katherine."

"Even my ancestor?" Elena asked.

"Yeah but for some reason he didn't die," Stefan frowned.

"When I found Stefan like that I wasn't happy. I tried to convince him to control his bloodlust and behaviour but he wouldn't listen."

"Until he told me that he was leaving town. I wanted to keep him in my life, I begged him to stay, I promised that I would do better."

"I showed no sympathy and left. I wasn't going to let him get us both killed."

"I didn't see him for fifty years after that. In that time, I'd become an animal only vampire with the help of my best friend Lexi."

"It was in 19...12 right? When I saw you again?"

"Yeah," Stefan nodded. "And that's pretty much it."

"Why'd you come back to Mytic Falls?" Bonnie asked.

"I came to visit my nephew," Stefan said. He started looking uneasy.

"What?" Elena asked, noticing his expression.

"The first time I saw you, you were on a bridge. I saved you but I couldn't save-"

"My parents," Elena said, shocked. "You were there? You're the reason I lived?"

"Yeah," Stefan said. "I decided to stay in Mystic Falls to make sure you were okay."

"You mean to make sure she wasn't Katherine?" Harry spoke up.

Stefan ran his fingers through his hair. "Yes and that."

"And what about you?" Harry turned to Damon. "Why'd you come?"

"145 years ago, Emily had told me that she'd spared the vampires in the church. When I came back here, I came back to free Katherine from the tomb. Then, I saw Elena with Stefan and I thought it'd be fun to mess with them. You know, make Stefan miserable. And then I saw you with Elena and it was like Katherine who?" Damon said truthfully.

"Katherine's still alive?" Stefan said, surprise evident on his face.

"Does it matter?" Elena said, crossing her arms.

"No, I was just a bit surprised." Stefan said quickly.

"Okay well, now that everyone's caught up can we go back to the real reason we're here?" Damon asked impatiently.

Harry showed Damon the text. He read it quickly, a frown forming on his face. "Isa?" He said. "Who the hell is that? I don't know any Isa's."

"Obviously it's not her full name. Her full name is most likely Isabella." Bonnie said.

"Well, I don't know any Isabella's either. None that are important anyway," Damon said. "What does she mean by 'way back when'?"

Elena let out short gasp. "Damon," She said. "Read the second to last line of the text!"

"She speaks of forever and death," Damon said. "So?"

"You guys are vampires," She said patiently. "You live forever. You're DEAD."

"Holy shit Isa's a vampire." Stefan realized.

"How could I forget?" Harry berated himself.

"You knew?" Bonnie asked.

"When I was asking Caroline about Damon's alleged girlfriend, she told me that Isa was his girlfriend and that she was always saying that they would be together forever," Harry explained, talking fast. "I realized that she was a vampire, but I couldn't tell you guys because you didn't know. The whole way back when thing makes more sense now."

"You guys knew her when you were human." Harry stated.

"That'd make sense," Elena said. "But why does she want you two to break up?"

"Wait," Stefan said. "Damon we did know an Isabella!" He exclaimed. "Remember? She was like in love with you. She'd follow you everywhere."

"Yeah, I remember her now. Isabella Josephs," Damon said.

"She became a vampire. For you." Stefan said.

"I always knew she was insane." Damon shook his head. "Why is giving me trouble now though? I've been with a whole bunch of people and nothing ever happened."

"Correction, you slept with those people. You weren't in a relationship with them, unless you haven't told me about it."

"No, Harry's the first since Katherine."

Harry frowned slightly, then dropped it before anyone could notice.

"What about Caroline?" Bonnie asked.

"No, we only slept together. She might've thought it was but it definetely wasn't."

"So we figured out the who, and the why. But we haven't figured out what Caroline wants us to do." Bonnie said.

"It's definetely a warning," Harry said. "Something big must be happening soon so Caroline felt the need to warn us about Isa."

"So now what?" Elena asked.

"We go hunt that bitch down and get rid of her before she gets crazier." Damon said, already envisioning how he would take her down.

"Or we could capture her." Stefan said, thinking of a place that they could hold her.

"No," Harry shook his head, his face grim. "There's only one thing to do."

"What?" Damon said.

"Wait for her to kidnap me of course."

What'd you guys think? It took forever to write this because I kept changing everything. I almost changed this but I forced myself not to. I realized that if Klaus were to be in this story, Katherine would also have to be in it. Or at least, her story. So I have to make a whole new reason for Klaus's being because I always hated the moon stone thing. Review, Follow, and Favorite! Byeee!
