Venna's Pov
The party was wrapping up, and exhaustion was weighing down as I supported the host members in cleaning up the very, very, mess left behind from the guests. Even so, a smile was printed to my lips.
As I threw away the last streamer, I turned to look at everyone, my eyes growing heavy.
"I should get headed home now," Haruhi commented, glancing to the night sky through the window.
"I'll drive you." Tamaki took her arm gently. "Good night everyone."
"Goodnight, Tamaki Senpai." I commented, a light wave sending the two out the door.
"Whoa, Venna, it looks like you're about to drop." Koaru said worriedly as he and Hikaru took in my appearance.
I sighed lightly, "I'm just a little tired." My voice was light, as was my feelings.
"Did you enjoy the party?" Honey questioned, holding onto Usa-Chan.
I nodded. My balance wavered slightly.
An arm wrapped around my shoulders and I glanced up to see Mori.
"Come."
I was escorted to the door. "Goodnight boys. I really enjoyed tonight." I called back to the twins and Kyoya.
~.~.~.~
Kyoya's Pov.
I watched as Mori walked Venna and Honey towards the Host room, the twins following closely behind.
Pushing my glasses up, I gladly switched off the lights and locked the door to the giant room, leisurely walking up to the room myself.
In the silence with my footsteps echoing around me, I immediately noticed the second pair following mine.
I held in my sigh.
"Kyoya, long time no see." A familiar voice called.
I turned to see a face that resembled the white haired female who had just bid me a farewell for the night.
"Tyzen, what is it that brings you here tonight? Last we spoke, it was in America, correct?" I dropped that fake smile I spoke with when around people.
His own playful smile dropped. "Yes, at that conference oh so long ago. I know what you had done to your father's company."
I titled my head, the moonlight streaming across the dark hall.
"He's striking. Your father just sent him on a new trip that resonates in France with the Mafia-like group there, and he'll be expecting payment when he returns. You know what he'll do if he doesn't get it."
"Might I ask why you are informing me of this/"
"In two years you are to be betrothed to my little sister. I take a liking to her, and have come to inform you that she will be leaving Japan soon. I'm taking her with me."
"Against your father's will?"
"Yes. You know what'll happen to her." His tone was sharp.
A sigh escaped me. Yes, I knew exactly what would happen.
"While I find a safe place, she'll remain here. I need you, personally, to watch over her during that time. I've already employed a few other host members to watch over her as well."
"Mitskuni Haninozuka and Takashi Morinosuka I presume."
"Yes, they agreed without a second's hesitation."
I nodded. "To repay you after all these years, I agree."
He smiled again. "Until next time, old friend."
~.~.~.~
Venna's Pov.
I tiredly changed, a burdensome question weighing me down.
Where was I going to go?
It's not like I could just keep staying at the twins, and once Mori learns that I'm suppose to return to that man, wouldn't he aid in sending me that way?
The burning of unshed tears threatened to steal my breath away.
Quickly catching my breath again, I walked out, head bent down.
"Ready to go home?" Mori's deep voice asked.
My cloud of fatigue increased. "I don't think I'm staying with you anymore."
I swiped at the exhaustion in my eyes, yawning.
Honey embraced me, "You can come stay at my house!"
I smiled slightly. I wish.
"That sounds like a fantastic idea." called a recognizable voice.
"Tyzen?"
He smirked at me. "You look like you've been run over by a train." He commented. "Why don't you stay at one of your friends house, and I'll message you later, mkay?"
I was nodding. A thought crossed my mind. "What about him?"
"He's long gone, Princess." Tyzen stepped closer and rustled my hair. "No need to worry."
He leaned in closer to my ear and whispered so that no one else could hear. "Besides, your wannabe boyfriends wouldn't let him get anywhere near you."
I drew back furiously, eyes and mouth wide. A slightly blush covered my face.
He laughed richly. "See ya later sis. Get some sleep before you drop dead. I'll let you know when I find something."
Tyzen glanced at Kyoya before waving towards my direction and walking out.
"Wait." I started saying slowly as the door slammed shut behind my brother. "I'm staying?"
Honey giggled. "Let's go have a sleepover now!"
~.~.~.~
Honey's Pov.
As soon as the three of us entered the limo, Venna-Chan's head lolled to the side.
I giggled at the cute expression on her face as she slipped asleep.
"Takashi."
He looked at me in question.
A sigh escaped my lips, the laughter gone. "She has a bruise."
Mori nodded. "I noticed."
A heavy feeling filled the room. Anger began boiling in my bones. "It's just not fair. She obviously works to please her dad, so why is he so mean? I don't understand."
Mori looked towards me, and I could see the anger behind his eyes, too.
"She needs us. We're all she has now that her family has left her." I glanced back at the girl perched against Takashi's shoulder. "It's her against the world."
He wrapped his arm around Venna's shoulders, pulling her protectively closer, and I leaned into her.
Even I had noticed her change in character since coming to Ouran. She was withdrawn, alone, and reserved. After spending time with the host club she became one with us. Her eyes became brighter, she was much more lively.
And then he showed up.
And she vanished back into that broken shell.
Can we save her before her thoughts destroy her?
~.~.~.~
Venna's Pov.
I was jostled from my deep slumber slightly.
Someone was pulling me into a standing position.
Before I knew it, I was in someone's arms bridal style.
Shivering, I snuggled closer into the warmth. The smooth steps and swaying were soothing.
My mind connected to the sound of footsteps making their way towards a destination. Doors opened and closed around my half conscious mind.
My skin made contact with smooth silky sheets. Curling onto my side, part of me recognized the feeling of something warm climbing into the bed, too. A shiver raced through my skin, forcing me to scoot closer to it.
I sighed happily with the warmth.
My mind happily began drifting back to blackness.
~.~.~.~
Honey's Pov.
Surprise overtook me.
Takashi had placed Venna in my bed before going to one of the spare rooms down the hall.
She was shivering.
I climbed in next to Venna. I mean, after all, my bed is ginormous.
Almost immediately she snuggled into my side.
I looked over to her, where a smile graced her lips and a happy sigh left her soft looking lips.
Closing my eyes, a smile pulled across my lips.
~.~.~.~
Venna's Pov.
A yawn pulled at my lips as I stretched.
Confusion clouded over my mind as I glanced to my side where warmth was radiating.
My eyebrows pulled together. Under the blankets, I could just make out a patch of blonde hair.
Blonde hair?
Blinking a few times, I wiped the heavy tiredness in my eyes.
A mewing noise came from the person below the covers as something tightened around me.
What?
Oh, it must be his arms around my stomach.
Going to move my legs, I realized they were wrapped around another set.
The bundle of blonde hair moved, and suddenly it was shifting closer to me.
Slight panic raced through me.
And then it sighed a soft, "Venna, it's too early."
I giggled realizing that Honey Senpai was the one snuggling with me.
He sighed again, sitting up slowly. I sat up, too.
"Where's Usa-Chan?"
Looking around the bed, I spotted the pink bunny. "Here."
He took the bunny from my hands and smiled. "Let's go eat something now!"
I smiled, too.
He held my hand, leading me.
