I appeared in Viridian City with Mew by my side. Both she and I had transformed into Rattata so that the humans wouldn't be alarmed by the Gallade and Mew walking down the street. I used my psychic abilities to find him; he was standing outside the Gym with a determined look on his face.
"I'm here, Red." I said, tugging on his pants leg with my paw.
He looked down at me. "You can transform?"
I nodded. "Long story. What are we doing here?"
He turned back to the Gym and walked through the door; Mew and I close behind.
Inside it was practically pitch black, there was no light at all. Red took out a Pokéball and his Charizard was released, casting light all over with his tail.
We walked down a hallway in silence until we entered a huge room. The light from the Charizard's tail revealed a rocky battleground and an empty chair by the far wall.
"Well, I see you've come to finish the job." Suddenly the lights turned on, temporarily blinding us. Giovanni stood in a doorway beside the chair. "I suppose I knew this would always happen. Team Rocket truly is doomed, isn't it?" He said with a dry smile.
Mew and I transformed back to our normal forms as we stared at him. "This is it." I stated, glaring at him. "No more enslaving Pokémon."
Giovanni chuckled. "You say that as if you actually have free will, Gallade." He raised two Dark Balls and an Aerodactyl and Tyranitar appeared. Their dark auras flared menacingly as they growled and transformed into their mega forms. "Aside from you, Gallade, these are my most powerful successes. If you manage to defeat them, then I will concede defeat and I swear to you that Team Rocket will be no more."
I growled and extended my blades. I transformed into my own mega form and glanced at Red and Mew. "This is between him and I. Let me destroy him."
Mew and Red nodded in sync and took a step back.
The Aerodactyl screeched and unleashed a Hyper Beam, which I dodged with ease and ran forward to try and slice into him, but the Tyrantiar raised a hand and suddenly a sandstorm brewed with amazing force, causing me to stop as the sand blinded my eyes.
While the sand was hurting my eyes, the Aerodactyl surged forward and slammed into me, causing me to fly into one of the jutting rocks in the battleground.
I growled again and closed my eyes, deciding to fight with my psychic senses. I carefully focused until I "saw" the Aerodactyl flying towards me again. As fast as possible, I shot him down with a well-placed Aeroblast, causing the Aerodactyl to screech in pain and crash to the ground behind me. Before the Aerodactyl could get up, I turned around and focused all of my energy into a punch that was so hard it knocked out the Aerodactyl instantly.
The Tyranitar roared with fury and unleashed a Hyper Beam at me, but I teleported behind him and unleashed a Hyper Beam so powerful I'm sure they could have a tremor three towns over. Good thing the mega Tyranitar's hide was so rocky thick; it barely saved him from death. With the Tyranitar collapsed, the sandstorm died down and I opened my eyes and turned to Giovanni.
"Well," he said with a smile, "that didn't last long, did it? It's a shame you managed to be freed from the Dark Ball, Gallade. I really could've used you on my side. We could've done amazing things." He got down on his knees, hanging his head in defeat. "You win."
I slowly stepped forward and placed my hand on his head. With a simple nudge, all of his memories were erased.
