Chapter 25

The Secret's Out

It felt good finally revealing my feelings. I felt light and free and happy, especially since I knew Loke actually loved me back. I was so glad that he told me everything, even though I was still sorta afraid. I mean, Loke was an immortal Celestial Spirit and I was only mortal.

We decided to keep us being together a secret, though we knew we'd have to tell everyone eventually. For now at least, I wanted everything to be calm and quiet, something I couldn't get with Happy constantly taunting me. I was planning on taking it slow with Loke, since he was my first real boyfriend as well as my Celestial Spirit.

The next day I decided to go to the guild. I knew it would be a good idea to make sure everyone knew I was alright. I knew they'd be worried until I showed up, and besides I was really looking forward to getting my reward money and my new celestial spirit key.

When I finally opened the doors to the guild everyone turned to look at me. The first thing I saw after that was Natsu running up to me, screaming at me and asking if I was alright. Erza's fist then came speeding towards him and knocked him to the ground. She then screamed at him to give me some space, and I laughed. This guild would never change.

"I'm fine, there's no need to worry. I feel great." I said between giggles.

"Glad to hear it." Erza said with a genuine look of relief on her face. "Now, we have the prize money from the job, and the person who asked us to do the job in the first place will be coming by later to give us our reward. Your share is over there in that bag, as well as the Celestial Spirit key we got." She said and pointed to a small brown leather bag sitting on a nearby table.

I ran over to the table and ripped the bag open excitedly. Inside there was my share of the 100,000,000 million jewel prize, as well as a sparkling silver key. I let out a squeal of excitement as I studied my new key. On it was a little white picture of a dolphin, and I immediately knew what key it was. It was delphinus the dolphin.

Erza then cme up to me and told me I needed to sit down because, as she put it, Kaylana had something she needed to tell us. I was sorta surprised by this, but I did what I was told, since you didn't want to resist an order from Erza. We sat at a table in the very back of the guild, and Erza started speaking again. "Well, as you all know, Kaylana and I worked together on our last mission. Now, what you don't know is, I almost died." She said in her normal calm demeanor, as if this were completely normal. We, of course, stared at her in shock, but she continued. "We had defeated our two members of the guild and were walking out, when all of a sudden Kaylana fell to the ground with a headache, and the next thing I knew she pushed me out of the way of a sword headed straight for my head. The problem was there was no way for her to know that the spear was coming. She had her back turned to our opponent and she had her eyes closed. She then told me she would tell me how she did it 'later' and we walked away. Well Kaylana, it's definitely later now. Do share."

Kaylana looked nervous, but she still was able to speak. "Well, the truth is that I haven't been totally honest with you all about my powers." she said, looking like she was ready to throw up. "Well, I kind of have this one other power. I-I'm well…" She paused looking more and more nervous by the second. "I'm kind of psychic." She said, but didn't look surprised at the shocked looks on our faces. "I don't usually tell people because I know there are plenty of jerks out there who would love to abuse that kind of power, and I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner, but I haven't really known you for very long and I had to be sure I could trust you."

Natsu and Erza looked pretty much shocked, and I probably did too, but Gray looked just plain mad. "I thought you told us that you didn't have any other powers! I thought I could trust you! Why didn't you just tell us!?" Gray yelled, looking angry and betrayed.

"I'm sorry Gray, I really am, but I've never told anyone about my power! Why would you expect me to tell five people I just met!" She screamed back, sounding just as angry as Gray. The two then stormed off in different directions, leaving the rest of us staring in utter shock.

There you guys go, Kaylana's revealed her secret, Lucy is with Loke, and she has a new Celestial Spirit Key on top of that! About the key, delphinus won't be a major character, it's just one of my favorite constellations so I had to. Oh yah, I wanted to ask you all a question. Do you want a little more Kaylana in this story or should I keep it strictly to the LoLu plot? Let me know in the comments. By the way, if you say you want more Kaylana, I might just tell you why Gray was so mad…
