Alex went into the kitchen, and started preparing breakfast for the two of them. As soon as she finished placing everything on the table, she decided to go upstairs, and wake Steve up. She was half way up the stairs, smirked to herself, and decided to wake him up in a...creative way...

She walked down the stairs quickly, and quietly going into the study, and then into the kitchen, looking for things to rig up her creative wake up call. "Let's see.." Alex spoke out loud looking around the study, "Ah.. I could use this, oouu and this, oh and definitely this," she said as she was picking up random things. She got upstairs, and quietly rigged up her prank.

After she finished she walked slowly over to Steve to make sure he was still sleeping, he was. She was surprised that he was, she guessed it was because he was so tired from being woken up every night for the past two weeks by her crying in the middle of the night. She double checked her "wake up call." Grabbed her phone, and her remote for her stereo, as soon as she was well hidden, but could still record everything on her phone.

She hit play on the remote to her stereo, which she had turned as loud as it could go, and had placed in the hallway. The music started blaring Steve woke up in shock started scrambling to his feet, looking around to figure out where the music was coming from, he finally figured out it was in the hallway, he ran to the door turned the door knob which released the trigger, which dumped multi-color glitter, then glue, and goose feathers, which Alex had used from an old pillow in the hallway closet, all over Steve's head, and the top of his chest. He didn't stop, he darted to the stereo, which was still blaring, he couldn't find the stop button, so he just unplugged in from the wall.

Steve wiped stuff away from his eyes, and mouth, looked at his hands, and yellled, "ALEEEEXXXXX!"

Alex stopped recordimg, and started busting out laughing. Steve came back into her room, with an irritated smile on his face, "Oh, so you think this is funny, do you?"

"You...I..didn't think..didn't think it would..work that well.." Alex said in between laughing.

Steve smiled, rolled his eyes, and said, "Oh, you didn't? Well, it worked very well. Let me show you just how well."

"Nonononono," Alex said as he started walking closer to her. Steve got close to her, and gave her a huge...hug. Alex squealed, "EWWWWW, Gross, Noooo, Dad."

Steve stopped as soon as she had said Dad, they were both laughing hard, he was happy to have her as a daughter, even if she did pull a prank like that.

"I made breakfast," Alex said wiping stuff off of her.

Steve smiled, "Great, I think I'm going to go take a quick shower first though."

"Yeah, I think I will too." Alex said laughing.

They both went their separate ways to go get cleaned up, Alex finished first, and went downstairs. She looked at her phone, and it said the message had been, "Delivered." She heard Steve coming down the stairs, and put her phone away immediately.

"Wow, Alex. This looks great, we can't stay long though. I just got a call, we need to go into my work." Steve said, sitting down, starting to eat.

"Why do I have to go in with you?" Alex asked.

"Because I don't like the idea of you staying here alone, I need to up the security system a little more before I let you stay here alone." Steve replied.

"What do you mean up the securtiy system? You've already got a high-tech system set up?" Alex asked.

"It's not as safe as it could be," Steve stated.

"What more could you possibly do?" Alex questioned.

"Oh, you'd be surprised." Steve replied, wiping his face, grabbing his plate taking it into the kitchen.

"Come on please let me stay here, I don't want to have to go and sit in your office all day, that's boring." Alex whined.

"No, Alex." Steve said, coming back into the dining room.

"Please, I promise I won't get in any trouble." Alex pouted.

"Alex," Steve warned, "I said no."

"Daddy," Alex tried one more time hoping she wasn't pushing it too far.

Steve looked at her, "Fine, but don't you leave this house."

Alex smiled really big, "I won't."

"I mean no going down to the beach, going to friends, nothing you stay in the house." Steve instructed.

Alex thought about it, "Alright, no leaving the house, I got it."

Steve started walking towards the door, "And no friends over, especially NO boys."

Alex rolled her eyes, "Okay."

"I mean it Alex." Steve stated, looking her directly in the eyes.

"Okay, no friends, and no boys, I've got it just go." Alex said starting to get a little irritated.

He was getting closer to the door, "If you need anything just call me."

"I know, I will," Alex replied, wishing he would just leave.

He walked half way out the door, and then turned back to look at her, "Oh, and lock the door-."

"Okay, well I can't do that until you leave, bye love you." Alex said, closing the door cutting him off.

Steve smiled as she cut him off, and saying she loved him. He was nervous about leaving her home alone, but 'she'll be alright,' he thought to himself.

Steve drove to 5-0 headquarters, walked in to hear the sound of his colleagues laughing, and the sound of him yelling, 'Alex.'

"Hey, guys what's up?" Steve asked curiously.

Kono walked over, and showed him the video Alex had made, while smiling, "She sent one to all of us."

Steve mumbled, "Alex."

"Ugh, Steve feeling extra sparkly today?" Danny replied, snickering.

Steve smirked, "Funny, Danny. Can we get back to work, please?"

"Where's Alex?" Chin asked.

"She's at home." Steve stated.

"You left her at home alone?" Danny asked.

"I didn't want to, but she used the daddy trick," Steve replied.

"Ah, the daddy trick, works every time." Danny said smiling.

"Yeah well, I can't fall for that every time, I have to find a way to look past it." Steve said smiling.

"Yeah right, buddy." Danny smirked. "Let me know when you figure it out."

"Oh I will," Steve replied smiling. "Trust me, hey we need to stop back by my house I forgot some papers."

"You forgot, you wouldn't happen to be checking up on her?" Kono implied.

Steve smirked, "Nah, not at all."

Alex finished cleaning the kitchen up from breakfast, she grabbed a phone, and had gotten a couple of texts one from Steve, and one from Justin.

"Nice vid, Alex. Thanks for sending it to the guys, really appreciated that.."

"Lol, no problem, Dad. -Alex"

"Hey yo Alex. Is Steve home? - Justin."

"Yo Alex? What have you became some kind wanna be gangster, or something? - Alex"

"Awe u r so funny Alex. Is Steve home? - Justin."

"Well you never talked like that b4? - Alex."

"OH MY...Is Steve home or not! - Justin."

"Calm down, no he's not why? - Alex."

"Can I come over? - Justin."

"Um..I don't know, my dad said I wasn't allowed to have anyone over. - Alex."

"Your Dad? Since when do u do what u r told anyways? - Justin."

"Yes my dad, that's what he is, I might as well accept it. I do what I'm told because I don't want to get in trouble, before I didn't care, now I do. Something wrong with that? - Alex.

"Come on, you gettin soft on me? - Justin."

"No.. - Alex."

"Please, can I just come over? I need to talk to you, It's important... - Justin."

"Fine, but you won't be able to stay long! - Alex."

"Okay, I'm like 5 minutes away. - Justin."

"Okay. - Alex."

Alex started pacing, thinking to herself, 'oh please Steve don't come home right now. I'm going to be in so much trouble.' There was a knock on the door, she jumped a little.

She opened the door, Justin barged right in, "I need to talk to you."

"I know, you already said that." Alex said, closing the door behind him. Then looked at him curiously, "Have you been drinking?"
