Chapter 25

Silent POV

"I..I had a vision." I murmured, "I don't know what it means or what the hell it even was." Ian raised his eyebrows at me and I put my head in my hands.

I honestly didn't know what that vision meant at all. It was different than the other ones. This one was just weird. Shadow looked roughly 30-40 years old. I couldn't do anything about it now. Fuck we weren't even twenty, I'd forget about this vision in a year let alone twenty.

But what happened? Why was something so bad it was worth giving up our child for medicine? Oh right. My teleportation power. Would Zack develop it? Was that why all this happened?

Was my teleportation power that fucked up? I mean that is part of the reason I'm here in the hospital and have been unconscious for like two months now. I missed Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years. This was suppose to be our first holiday season actually celebrating something good.

But I guess with this family nothing good stays for long. It was only a matter of time before either I got a new power like this, or Shadow's telekinesis drove her crazy. One way or another something bad was going to happen and It did.

"Silent. You need to lay back down and relax. Your heart rate is going up faster than normal" I let Ian push me back down and closed my eyes. "Listen I'll call Shadow and get her down here will that make you calm down?" I didn't' respond but heard him leave the room. What the fuck was I going to do?

Shadow POV

"Now. When an author works periodically on there story..." I was furiously writing down as much as I could while the professor spoke. Leo was to my left tapping his fingers on the table, while Sound was to my right, writing notes as well.

"I'm bored." Leo murmured poking me in the side with a pencil. I swatted at his hand but he did it again.

"Leo I don't care. Stop it." He sighed and I went back to writing notes. We were just in community collage right now and this was the English and writing portion. Honestly I wanted to do something in English. Write a book or something. Maybe I could turn our life story into a novel wouldn't that be something?

"Now can anyone tell me in this sentence where the proper place for a comma is?" This was like high school all over again, most of which was pointless but I rose my hand. "Mrs. Blackwood." I cleared my throat.

"The Two Proper places to insert a comma would be before the word or and after the listing of traits for the background." I exclaimed. His eyebrows shot up and he turned to look at the sentence once more.

"Yes...That is correct. Excellent job" He continued on with his lecture.

"Suck up" Sound muttered and I stomped harshly on his foot smirking. He hissed in pain and set his pencil down crossing his arms. I snickered and finished writing my notes. Class was almost over like we had maybe 5 minutes If that.

"Now The rest of the time is yours you may leave if you want. But remember your writing pieces are due in two weeks. Good luck." I shoved my papers into my folder and stood up stretching. Then shoved my folder into my shoulder bag Silent's mom had gotten me for christmas. Which also I kept my phone in during class.

"Shadow your phone keeps buzzing. Please answer it." Leo exclaimed pulling on his jacket. I hadn't even heard my phone go off. It was Ian.

"Yes Ian?" I exclaimed answering slinging my bag over my shoulder.

"He's awake!" I stopped in my tracks.

"He's what?" Leo and Sound turned to look at me. "Are you sure?"

"Yeah I am! Get to the hospital quick. Bright, Talia, and Zack are already on there way." I felt a smile grow on my face.

"Thanks Ian be there soon." I hung up and shoved the phone into my pocket. "He's awake!" Leo whooped a cheer and Sound smiled.

"Awesome." Leo lowered his voice, "We can make it there in five minutes flat if we fly. I'll carry you." I nodded eagerly.

"Yeah yeah let's go." We hurried for the door. God damn was I excited. I hadn't heard his voice in so long. Seeing Silent pale and lifeless on a hospital bed tore away at me a little more each and everyday. But now he was finally awake.

"Excuse me ?" I turned my head as the professor called out to me, "Could you stay after for a moment?"

"Go ahead and wait outside" I muttered tapping Sound on the elbow. He nodded and I walked down to where the professors desk was while the others headed outside.

"Yes?" He shuffled threw his papers looking at each of them.

"I just wanted to talk to you about one of your papers the topic was interesting. Hold on let me find it" He turned and looked threw a filing cabinet.

I hope this wouldn't take long I wanted to be out of here as soon as possible.
