Suddenly the dialling sound faded and there was a voice on the other end.

"Hello?" I asked...

"Hello this is Gage Thomas, how may I help you?" The male voice asked.

"Hi Gage. It's Rusty. I was calling because I'm not going to have any time to meet you, especially touring. I know this is going to sound really stupid and pathetic, but... I know my family is horrible and don't care, I'd be better living with you, but... My family are my friends. They care, they help, they've been there since day one and haven't left, they don't want me any other way and they love me and love being in my company. They are the very few people I trust and they go out of their way for me. They are my family and have been for, at least, six months. I'm not going to get involved with other people to complicate things or because I need a 'proper' family. I'm 24, I can and need to make my own decisions. Sorry Gage, I won't take your offer and would like to ask you to stay out of contact with me or any of my family." I explained, just spewing out words in nervousness.

"I understand and I see your logic. Thanks for telling us. We will not be in contact. I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavours." Was I being fired or something?

"Thanks, Mr Thomas. I wish you the same." I hung up. I told Punk a similar version of what he said, complete with all the parts I could remember. Punk was just glad that I'd made the decision and that I was happy. He then made me a toasted cheese sandwich, while I messaged Dean to tell him the similar version of the conversation I had with Gage, complete with the parts that Punk and I remember. Soon our conversation had shifted and we were joking around and insulting each other. We tried to stay away from sentimental stuff, like over exaggerating how much we love and miss each other. We know that we miss each other and that we both love each other, we didn't have to constantly repeat it. We couldn't wait to be in the others embrace, we knew it without either of us admitting it. It wasn't hard to figure out. We could talk about anything and it'd be obvious that we love and miss each other.

Our joking got to the point of Dean bringing out Johnny Utah and Bodhi. Nailing the impressions and earning himself a cheer, a laugh and a clap. Seth and Roman joined the conversation after a while.

"Oh so the dogs in heat decided to join us." I announced proudly as Seth and Roman turned red and Dean was trying desperately to contain his laughter.

"Dean, were you late night Skyping?" Roman asked.

"No you were so loud, I could hear you in Vegas." My sarcastic comment was met with no witty comeback.

"So, did you sort out the problem with your parents?" Seth asked changing the subject.

"Yeah, I called Gage this morning to tell him that I didn't need a proper family because I have you guys." I smiled.

"Dean, I told you to stop putting ideas in his head." Roman told him off.

"Fuck off, it was his decision. He ignored my ideas and had reasons of his own." Dean retorted.

"Wait, you told Gage, your potential father, that we are your family?" Seth questioned.

"Yes, Roman is the authority figure, like a father and you two are so immature like brothers. Over the past six/seven months I feel like we have bonded so well. Seth and I were in the pits, Dean and I have grown closer in general, not to mention that we have all trained and travelled together. We are family."

"Aw you sentimental little shit." Dean smiled.

"He has a point. We all love each other in one way or another. Dean and Rusty are in a romantic relationship like Seth and I. I love Rusty like he is my younger brother, although I'm not the first resort I feel like he could ask me questions and we could just mess around. He could ask me to help him in the ring. I love Dean like a brother because I've helped him a lot, he's returned the favour by helping me develop in the ring." Roman added.

"Yeah, suppose. Dean and I fight like brothers, but we have helped each other and helped our brothers develop their skills." Seth commented.

"We all have extended parts of this family, besides our own families. Seth had Marek, CJ, Corey and Shane, Dean has Drake, Punk and Sami, Roman has... Trying to think of someone you hang with other than your 5 million cousins." I joked.

"That was a slight exaggeration, he only has 1 million." Dean joined in.

"Aw baby, they're right." Seth earned a playful slap on the arm.

"I have a lot of relatives, not that many cousins." Roman defended himself.

"Rome, you have so many cousins that your family tree firsts over thirty Wikipedia pages." Dean earned himself a punch.

"I get it, rough in bed but soft in front of people, unless it's my boyfriend you're hitting." I wasn't afraid because there was no way of him hurting me for another five days.

"You talk a big game, but in five days you'll retract your statement and apologize before I hurt you."

"Just because I act soft, doesn't mean I am. All I said was that you put up a soft front, but you're only rough in bed with Seth, but you punch Dean. How's that fair?"

"It's not, but Dean can take more of a beating..." Seth stared at Roman in an offended fashion. "...I'm offending everyone. Sorry Seth for not sparing your feelings, sorry Dean for hitting you harder than Seth and sorry Rusty for hitting Dean harder than Seth." Roman apologized realizing that there was no way to defend himself without offending everyone even more. We all thanked him in our own little gestures.

"Sorry to intrude, can I speak to Dean?" Punk asked standing in the doorway.

"Yeah, just tell me with everyone here." Dean insisted. Punk sat down next to me before continuing.

"Alright. I had a girl at the door, said her name was Savannah..." Dean cut him off.

"Let me guess, that bitch is pregnant?" Dean predicted.

"Yeah, how'd you know?" Punk asked, befuddled.

"She does that in attempt to keep me beside her. She does that one month after we fuck, or in this case, nine."

"Dean, she had a bump and shit."

"Yeah, she tries to make it more believable."

"Dean I don't think she was lying, but whatever. It's none of my business, I guess." With that, Punk stood up and left the room.

"That's messed up." Seth said to break the silence.

"I agree, anybody who knows Dean knows that you're special if you last a whole day. Rusty, You must be really special that he settled down so quickly with you without fucking you into the floor beneath him. Especially when he cares more about you than himself and you've lasted three months, roughly." Roman explained. Dean looked offended, but soon admitted that Roman and Seth really weren't lying.

"Aw, I'm touched. I'm happy that I make you happy, so much that you settled down with me without having to fuck me." I smiled.

"Anybody would wait for your slender body. It felt so amazing." Dean was making me blush.

"Dean, you're embarrassing the poor boy." Roman giggled.

"Sorry, it's the truth." Dean laughed.

"I'm not playing anymore." I stormed off out the room like a five year old. I walked back into focus and sat down.

"Aw my baby spat out the pacifier." Dean joked.

"Ah shit, we are so late." Roman cussed as Seth closed down the laptop after everyone quickly said goodbye.

After sitting sulking that I was alone without my boyfriend and that it was still one week before he got back. It was no secret that I loved Dean with all my heart, he's the only person I've given a fuck about. It was also no secret that after the attack it was becoming harder not to miss him because I knew that he cared and he wanted to be here with me, here to comfort me and help me through. It was worse when I was in his apartment and sleeping in his bed. Luckily, I knew that Punk's girl was coming home in two days and that he had to return home to see her. I would take that opportunity to leave to take my head off of Dean. I need to stop thinking of him because this experience was worse without him and was worse him being on a screen. I couldn't possibly be helping Dean, no doubt his in-ring performance would be suffering due to the stress I was putting on him with my messages. This was going to end...SOON!
