Previously on Mr. Peabody and Sherman: Transformers...
Sherman runs to the nearby building to evade the AllSpark from Decepticon hands, only for him to start turning ordinary Earth machinery into Transformers. That does not stop Sherman as he makes it to the building. Meanwhile, Penny starts doubting herself only for Bumblebee to help her out of the clouds as she helps Bumblebee attack and kill Brawl, weakening the Decepticon army by one member.
Chapter 25: Rooftop Rumble
Sherman climbs up the ladder and reaches the roof of the building. He starts to run above pipes and dodging air vents as he sees two helicopters reaching his destination.
Sherman: Hey!
Sherman pulls out his flare and bangs it against the wall, setting it off. He then tries to signal the choppers by waviing his flare around the air as he runs.
Sherman: Hey! Over here!
Starscream arrives and transforms into robot mode and stands at a different rooftop next to the building Sherman is standing on. Sherman guides the helicopters near him as he reaches the ledge of the building's roof. A helicopter rises from the same ledge as it stops Sherman's running as it hovers in front of him.
Pilot: We got the boy!
A soldier comes out from the hovering helicopter but still not close enough to jump to the ledge. He instead reaches for the Cube in which Sherman tries to give to him. Until Starscream launches a missile to the chopper.
Sherman: Watch out!
Pilot: Missile!
The missile hits the helicopter on the back propellers, sending the flight path out of whack.
Pilot: We're hit! Were going down!
Sherman ducks down as the chopper's tail piece scrapes against the roof floor.
Sherman: Aahh!
The chopper crashes to the secondary roof of the building while Optimus Prime dodges as he climbs up the building.
Optimus Prime: Hold on Sherman!
Sherman gets up to see what just happened only for one arm to smash against the ceiling from the inside the roof to spook Sherman. Then another. Finally, Megatron breaks through the roof, causing Sherman to climb up against a statue to hide from Megatron, but he gets scared as he looks down to the city below him.
Megatron: Is it fear or courage that compels you, fleshling?
Sherman holds the Cube tightly against his chest as Megatron crawls towards him.
Megatron: Give me the AllSpark and you may live to be my pet.
Sherman looks at then at Megatron. Sure he's scared. Hes been scared since the very beginning. But he doesn't wanna give the enemy the source of ultimate power. His life is worth dying to protect it.
Sherman: I'm never giving you this AllSpark!
Megatron frowns and transforms his arm into his flail.
Megatron: Ooh! So unwise.
He swings his flail and smashes it against the corner, causing Sherman to fall off.
Sherman: Aaahh!
He spins as he falls, closing his eyes, embracing his early and unfortunate demise. However, a hand reaches for him before he hit the ground. Sherman looks up and sees that Optimus Prime saved him.
Optimus Prime: I've got you, boy.
Sherman looks down as he's still in midair as Optimus Prime is holding on between two buildings.
Optimus Prime: Hold on to the Cube!
He activates his face plate and drops down. Clinging onto the building, jumping into the other occasionally, Optimus manages to keep his balance. But Megatron drops down too, but he falls straight down. Megatron grabs Optimus and brings hi, and Sherman down to the street, making a large crater in their place. A person nearby Megatron tries to squirm away from Megatron fearfully.
Person: Oh no! No no no no!
Megatron: Disgusting!
He flicks the human into a smashed taxi.
Person: Aahh!

A/N: We're close to the end of this story. Just a couple chapters more.
Well, that plan to deliver the Cube to the military failed. Looks like Sherman is gonna have to improvise somehow.
