Hey! The June holidays are creeping up. I owe you guys a chapter. Thanks for hanging on!

Misaki cursed under her breath as the cold wind blew, her teeth chattered and she hugged her coat closer to her body. She leaned against the cold glass panel outside of a boutique as she waited for Chiyo. Misaki refused to enter the boutique as the place was reeking with perfume and it made her nauseous. She had a bag of coats. , jewelry and other fashionable items in her hands. It was close to one in the afternoon and Misaki really hoped that their shopping was done. She had picked up a beautiful dress and whatever she needed for the Walker ball and she really wanted to head home. Misaki called her driver and continued staring at the busy streets of Tokyo. Her driver stopped at the road beside her and she left her bags in the car before telling her driver to bring it back to the manor. She let out a frosty breath, the air was getting colder everyday and Misaki was waiting for the first flake of snow. The Walker ball was in eight day's time and Misaki was really looking forward to getting this whole goddamn thing done. Chiyo finally stepped out of the boutique and Misaki smiled and trailed after her.

"Hey, Misaki. Do you want to head for lunch? " Chiyo asked as she and Misaki strolled down the streets of Tokyo. Misaki nodded her head and Chiyo smiled.

"I know the perfect place, are you up for some Italian food?" Chiyo asked as she fiddled with her phone.

"Sure!" Misaki said, glad that Chiyo finally finished her shopping. Chiyo hoped into her car and Misaki slipped into the back seat. Chiyo gave instructions to her driver before turning her head towards Misaki.

"So...Has Takumi proposed to you yet?" Chiyo asked playfully. Miskai felt her cheeks heating up as she turned her head away from Chiyo trying to hide her blush.

"No..." She answered softly. Chiyo's face fell but she immediately brightened up.

"We're here! The food here is the best." Chiyo said cheerily. Misaki stepped out of the car and they both headed into the restaurant.

"What about you Chiyo? How are you and Tora?" Misaki asked as they both waited for their food.

"Er... Well... I wasn't really ladylike when I met him. I may have kicked him in the shin and maybe cursed him...But in my defense, he deserved it for pissing me off." Chiyo said sheepishly as she twirled with a loose lock of her hair. Misaki chuckled to herself, Tora and her did fit together pretty well. Tora is a jerk when it comes to girls, as a friend Misaki would really like him to grow up. Being a player was dandy and all but he needed someone special in his life and Misaki really hoped that Chiyo would be that special one. They finished their lunch and they both went their separate ways. Misaki stepped out of the restaurant a blast of cold wind almost knocked her off her feet. Her teeth chattered and she walked down the pavement of the streets to her office which was round the corner. She headed into her office and opened the door, her eyes scanned her table for that troublesome file. She flipped through it and sighed, she sat on the couch of her office and read the file. The freakish wind outside was so freaking strong and cold. Misaki really didn't want to step out of her office, her coat was already so thick and yet she was feeling cold. Her tolerance towards cold was not high at all. Misaki sneezed as she flipped through the pages, her nose was turning red.

"...Crap, I've gotten a cold." Misaki sneezed again as she finished flipping through the contents of the file. She walked to her desk and pulled out tablets before popping them into her mouth and swallowing them. She hated falling sick and she hated the cold even more. Winter was seriously the worst season of the year, Misaki took a last glance at her office before slinging her handbag and leaving the office. Her driver arrived and Misaki hopped into the car, when she arrived back at the manor and she threw open her bedroom door and flung herself onto the bed. She caught a glimpse of all those shopping bags arranged neatly in the corner of her room and she sighed. Without bothering to change out of her clothes she fell asleep on her bed.

The next morning, Misaki woke up to a splitting headache as she stuffed her head into her pillow. It felt as if her head was being hammered by a hammer repeatedly, she struggled to sit up. Her head was pounding and she was feeling colder than ever, she got up from bed with shaky knees as she slowly made her way downstairs to get some medication.

"Damn it, I didn't think it would be so bad. I just had to fall sick now, mom is sure going to give me an earful about not taking care of myself." Misaki muttered as she winced . She wobbled to the kitchen and caught sight of her mother leaning over the counter washing the dishes while handing them to... Takumi?! Misaki blinked as she gripped the wall for support. The headache was getting a whole lot worse, her teeth started chattering and she was getting light-headed. With a loud sneeze, Misaki gained the attention of Takumi and her mother.

"Misaki! What on earth..." Her mother said, as she rushed to her side. Misaki coughed and sneezed again and she smiled.

"You know me, I can't stand the cold and I may have gotten the flu or a cold." Misaki mumbled. Takumi stood beside her, holding her up. Her mother narrowed her eyes and shook her head.

"...Go back to bed sweetie, I'll cook some chicken soup for you and get the housekeeper to bring up some painkillers." Okinako said with a sigh. Misaki was very prone to the flu and cold's during the Winter season and she probably had the weakest immune system during the Winter. Takumi looked at Misaki worriedly as he helped her back to her bedroom. Takumi tucked Misaki back into bed and he looked at her as he sat beside her.

"Are you alright Misaki?" Takumi asked as he gently brushed her hair away from her eyes. Misaki nodded and sneezed.

"What are you doing here? Takumi?" Misaki asked softly as she closed her eyes.

"I was planning on taking you out ,but with your condition, I think my plans would have to be put on a hold. I'm willing to stay here and take care of my Misa-chan though." Takumi said with a bright smile. Misaki coughed and turned away from him.

"You do know that, I might pass the germs to you right?" Misaki said as she leaned back into her pillow.

"I'll take my chances." Takumi said as he got up from Misaki's bed and took the chicken soup and the painkillers from the housekeeper. Misaki shook her head, it was useless to convince Takumi otherwise. He sat back beside her and gave her the painkillers to swallow. Misaki gave him a grateful smile and swallowed the painkillers. Takumi smiled to himself as he fed Misaki the chicken soup.

"I have hands Takumi..." Misaki said in between small sips of the chicken soup.

"But you're sick, so I get to feed you. You should get sick more often." Takumi said teasingly.

"Why?" Misaki said with a smile as she turned her head towards Takumi.

"Because...I can do this." Takumi leaned over Misaki and captured her lips with his. Misaki's eyes widened, as she felt Takumi's lips on hers ,his scent was intoxicating and it felt like bliss to have his lip's against hers. She closed her eyes and savored the kiss. Takumi soon pulled away and a playful look was on his face, he got up and ruffled her hair and took the tray of things downstairs leaving a very flustered Misaki lying on the bed trying to hide her blush.
