Mason was the first to reach the Cornucopia. He dove straight for the machete. He picked it and gave it a test swing. After getting used to the cold metal, he sent it hurtling through the air, towards Lucas.
"No!" The large boy cried as Mason's made contact.
Kimberly threw herself in front of Lucas, shielding him from the blow. The machete bounced off of her, leaving a long cut down one arm. She ignored the steady blood flow and swung her newly obtained hammer at Mason, narrowly missing.
But he was not giving up. As Lucas waddled off into the distance, Mason retrieved his machete and sent flying off after Lucas. It hit the boy in the back off his head and his lifeless body crumpled to the ground.
The first cannon sounded.
All the tributes were off of their podiums and sprinting towards the cornucopia. Jason was next to reach it, followed by Sagittaria who was cradling a dying Landon in her arms. He whimpered.
Landon!" She cried as the cried as the boy closed his eyes for a final time. The careers had taken him to. Sagittaria dropped the boy at her feet and join Jason, grabbing supplies. They piled weapons and food into back packs before heading off into the forest, in search of water.
In their time at the Capitol, Solaria had befriended Alex and they now made their way into the desert. As they rounded the corner, they stood face to face with the ruthless killed, Zack. Solaria took a step back but the muscular boy was to quick. He took their heads of with a sword.
Two more cannons.
Bethany had round here alliance. She stood with Sarafine, Maddie and Lavender on the edge of the forest. The careers had seen them, but made no effort to attack. They were safe.
For now.
"I still don't see why we had to take her!" Bella moaned to Cultiva, pointing accusingly at Bree. "She's just slowing us down!"
"You get rid of her then!" Cultiva whispered.
"Fine!" Bella replied, spinning round, knife in hand. She threw the knife and it pierced Bree's heart. She screamed and crumbled to the ground.
"There!" Bella scream storming off.
Another cannon.
Matt led the way. Jaeger and Nora followed close behind. They had a few supplies but not enough to last them for long. After escaping the bloodbath with only minor injuries, they ventured off into the unknown.
"Can we stop yet?" Nora moaned, dragging down on Matt's sleeve.
"No! We have to get away!" He motioned to the Cornucopia that could be seen in the distance.
Jaeger heard a rustling and spun round. Everyone fell silent as a small boy emerged from the bushes. He pounced at Nora but Matt was to fast. he drew his bow and arrow and shot the boy down. The fight was over before it had even begun.
"Guy!" Jaeger gasped, pointing at the dead body. "I thought we were friends!" Guy took his final breath.
The Last cannon sounded.
So, the Bloodbath is over and 5 are dead!
Guy Palmer- I never got attached to Guy, he was reserved. I'm sad he is gone as he was loved by may tributes!
Solaria raven- My favourite tribute! She was a fiery girl! And I really hoped to develop her character! R.I.P My little raven!
Alex Blake- Solaria's buddy! A strong boy who would do anything to protect Solaria. We will miss him!
Bree Textile- She was a very different tribute. She was hard to kill off, I felt her death had to be something... different!
Lucas Green- Oh Lucas! He wasn't going to last long! Hating exercise, loathing people! Oh well! He was my least favourite tribute! Sorry Lucas!
Landon Eli- Ahhh! So innocent, hard to kill off, but, he couldn't of survived!
