I woke up to the hushed sound of voices. "What do you three think you're doing?" the scratchy voice of Badgerclaw demanded.

"We can't sleep, we just want to go for a walk." Tinyleap responded, Eagleflight and Snakestrike mumbling afterward.

"I don't know about this…" I stood up slowly, making sure not to be seen. "We promise, we won't be for long Badgerclaw." Eagleflight told him.

"Oh, alright. But if you don't return with in moonhigh I'm going to wake Wildstar!" "Agreed." The three of them said at the same time. With a flick of there tails they turned and went down the tunnel into the forest. I walked onto the highledge and leaped down next to Badgerclaw.

"Huh?! Oh Wildstar!" "Don't worry Badgerclaw, look after the clan for me." I left camp without another word. I followed there scent up to the ShadowClan border. Oh no… what are they doing… I took a step over the border, my fur already gone wild with worry.

"This is crazy! What are we doing?!" I heard Tinyleap a ways in front of me. "We're saving Speckpounce, that's what we're doing." Snakestrike said sharply. I ran this time, trying to stay quiet.

"Did you hear that?!" Eagleflight said suddenly. I stopped and dived into a bush next to me. "I didn't hear anything." Tinyleap said. I heard rustling and saw his eyes glow in the dark. I'm done for… I thought gritting my teeth with frustration. I stood, knowing full well they would find me anyway.

"Wildstar?!" Tinyleap squeaked. "What are you doing here?" Snakestrike grumbled. "What am I doing here? What are you doing here?" Eagleflight stepped in between us.

"Raising our voices in a sleeping forest won't do anything. We're close to there camp, we don't want to jeopardize the whole operation, or ourselves." Everyone stood down, but it was too late.

"It's too bad you already did." Scarstar said from the shadows. He stepped forward the scars on his eye stretching with the ugly grin on his face. Frogfall followed him along with three other warriors. I stood in front of my kits, a nasty growl escaping me.

"Oh, Wildstar. Something wrong?" Scarstar asked sarcastically. "What actually happened to Grizzlystar Scarhead?" I hissed at him. "Scarstar." He snapped.

"Grizzlystar had it coming!" He confessed. "That big goof didn't know what he was doing!" He laughed maniacally. "I knew it…" I mumbled at him angrily.

"Look Wildstar, as much as I would love to sit and chat, I have more warriors here then you. You might as well just-" "We're not going anywhere!" Snakestrike stepped forward, stripes waving and eyes blazing.

"Oh, fancy trick you have there. Fine. If it's a fight you want, a fight is what your going to get." A flash of green zipped in front of us and a green force field appeared around us.

"Do not touch them." Speckpounce stood in front of us, facing her father. "What are you doing? Stand down Speckpounce!" Scarstar hissed at her. "What does it look like I'm doing? I'm saving my family." She said hissed back.

"What is this nonsense?! I am your family! Frogfall control her!" Frogfall took one step. "No! You don't understand!" Speckpounce cried out, the force field wavering.

"I love Thunderclan more than you! All you care about is power! And you made everyone so afraid that no one will stand against you!" Scarstar lashed out at her, knocking her over. He pinned her down before she could stand. The force field was the only thing holding Snakestrike back.

"You listen here, kit! You do not talk to your leader like that! Are you listening?" He lowered his muzzle and growled in her face. "I am your superior! Who do you think you are talking to me like that?" His claws came out slowly piercing her shoulders. Speckpounce screamed, but didn't give up. Her eyes flashed and Scarstar went flying, hitting a tree. Before anyone else could do anything Snakestrike put a force field around the Shadowclan warriors as Speckpounce's shield flickered off. Speckpounce laid there helpless.

"Let's get her to Thunderclan." I ordered, standing guard as Eagleflight and Snakestrike lifted Speckpounce and ran as fast as they could back to ThunderClan.

"Fine! Take her! But realize this, Wildstar!" I turned toward Snakestrike's shield where a limping Scarstar appeared. "You are kidnapping one of my warriors against their will! War will rain down Wildstar!"

"Kidnapping one of your warriors? You have got to be joking!" I hissed at him. "Who will they believe Wildstar? Hmm, there limping injured leader or the untouched enemy leader?"

"They'll believe who ever they want to believe Scarstar…" I said simply, and then with a wave of my tail I was gone, running back toward my kits.

The sun was up and everyone was awake by the time I got back. Patrols were already gone and everything looked normal. Shadowheart stood up and approached me, "What happened?" He whispered.

"Are they all in the Medicine den?" I answered with a question. "Yes." He responded. I scurried past him and into Smokecloud's den. It was glowing green from Speckpounce when I entered. "How is she?" I asked. creeping up behind them.

"She's going to be fine Wildstar." Smokecloud answered. Tinyleap and Eagleflight weren't in here, but Snakestrike laid next to Speckpounce, both of them fast asleep. I looked down at my kit, he was doing everything he could to protect her.

"Is everything alright Wildstar?" Smokecloud asked, glancing at the two cats, just begging for an explanation. "No. Try to keep this quiet though Smokecloud, and Wishpaw…" I glanced into the darkness, finding his eyes right away. He nodded back in acknowledgment, with that I left those four in peace and ventured outside in look for Shadowheart. He was outside of my den waiting. I climbed up the rock pile and stood next to him.

"Are you going to tell me now?" "Yes of course. I just needed to make sure they were okay." I walked past him into the den. I sat down in the middle and he watched from the entrance.

"The kits snuck out last night. I followed them onto Shadowclan territory where we were confronted by Scarstar. Speckpounce came to save us. She was down instantly. Scarstar was going to kill Speckpounce, in front of us in fact. It was her wizardry skills that saved her and Snakestrike as well. He threatened a war Shadow." I explained calmly.

"What do you mean? He threatened war?" "He said we were kidnapping her, but no one would believe me. They would believe there injured leader." I spat out like I was eating crowfood.

"Oh no. This is just the beginning." Shadowheart stood up and then sat down. Not knowing what to do. "Listen. I'll make an announcement, but we need to start night patrols. I don't know when they will attack. Maybe they'll wait until the full moon meeting, who knows?" Silently, together we left my den and waited on the highledge. Everyone glanced at us as the entered camp and automatically sat down below us.

I stood up tall when I noticed everyone was here. "All those old enough to catch there own prey, join me under the highledge." I announced. I paused, waiting for those who were asleep to crawl out of there dens. The elders came out and sat outside of there den, Lionclaw and Mouseheart smiling up at me as always. Rockfoot being tackled by the kits and Greycloud, the oldest elder, watching Shadowheart with a small smile.

When everyone was settled I spoke, "Last night, there was a small battle in Shadowclan." There was already chatter in the crowd and I waited. "The end result, a ShadowClan cat is in camp." I heard gasps and Twistedfoot speak up in protest.

"What!? This is an outrage!" He screeched. "She is going to stay! ShadowClan is not safe for her and she was banished." I spoke above Twistedfoot. "Because of this, ShadowClan has declared another war. We do not know when they will strike, but I believe it will be fairly soon." Everyone started to talk at once, some frightened, some angry, and some a mix of both.

"There s nothing to worry about!" Shadowheart spoke up. "Thunderclan is filled with skillful and talented fighters! We can beat them!" He continued.

"We also need to be on our toes, so to end this meeting we are going to be starting night patrols." I finished. No one protested after that so I jumped down in front of the crowd and everyone span out. Some warriors went back into there den and others sat down to eat. Shadowheart was at my side within seconds.

"How are you doing?" He asked worriedly. "I'm fine. Actually. I'm really tired." I said with a small laugh. "You should rest then…" His voice was stern but his eyes were filled with love and worry. "You're right. Look after Snakestrike and Speckpounce." I ordered turning around and heading to my den.

"I will. Don't worry about them." I was out right as my eyelids closed and I woke up in Starclan surprisingly. "Hey Wildfire- I uh mean… Wildstar." Squirrelfur stood before me, his goofy smile all over his face. I woke up next to a river, large oak trees surrounding me.

"Hey Squirrelfur. What's up?" I asked casually. "Oh nothing much, just living the wonderful dead life." He said jokingly. I gave him a look but instead he just rolled over crashing into me. He rested his head on my shoulder, he felt so real.

"I miss you." I said randomly. "You too sis." He liked to talk like a kittypet once and a while, taking up there kind of language. I didn't mind, he explained everything. "How's mom and dad?" He asked. "They've decided to become elders." "I'm sure there finished after seeing there daughter become the leader and well there son, dead." He explained dramatically. "Or Mouseheart is old and Lionclaw loves her to much to stay a warrior without her." I told him the truth. "Aww, those two are too cute." he said sarcastically.

"What have you been doing here?" I changed the subject after a long pause. "I've been helping Petalfur learn how to fight and hunt and all of the warrior ways." He said with a shy smile. "That's awesome!" I said cheerfully. "Barkclaw never seems interested. Which I don't mind. It's easier this way anyway." He continued. "Yeah I imagine so." I never realized it, which I never do, but I was disappearing from StarClan.

"See you soon Wildstar." He said simply. "Goodbye Squirrelfur."
