Hello all! Long time no talk. For those that have stuck around, I cannot thank you enough. I can't get my hand around the fact I wrote this over a course of six years, and people have stood by me while I posted it. I'm kind of tearing up, but I'm okay. Thank you all so much. I plan on posting an epilogue, but this is the last official chapter of the story. Thank you all again. I hope you stay with me to see what else I write out. XOXO

Chapter 25
"So, what are your plans for tomorrow?" Kouga asked as he had his arms wrapped around Kagome. It was his new favorite place.
"What did you have in mind?" She snuggled closer into his chest, and relaxed.
"Do you wanna build a snowman?" He sang to her. She groaned in response, and he just smirked. "I thought you would love my Disney reference!" he teased.
"Normally I would, but that line has been overused," she laughed.
"Then I will use it minimally. It's supposed to snow tonight. I emphasize the words supposed to. If it sticks, we could go to our park," he suggested.
"I don't think it is cold enough to stick, but that sounds nice. When are you going to talk to Ayame?"
"She should be getting into town sometime tomorrow night. I'll tell her to text me when she is in town."
"Alright. I should probably be heading inside. Souta is going to start spying soon," she sighed.
"I think he already is." Kouga looked up to find a small outline of a boy's head peeking through the window. He could start to feel the glare from her little brother as he kept his arms wrapped around her.
"Souta! Stop spying on me!" Kagome yelled at the window. Kouga bit back a laugh, as he bent down and kissed her on the cheek.
"Night, sunshine." He squeezed her hand one more time, then walked away.
Kagome stepped into her home, and was instantly met with Souta chanting, "Kagome loves Kouga!"
"Souta," she growled as she locked her brother in a headlock and gave him a noogie.
"Mom!" Souta cried.
"You two behave," their mom called out from the living room.
Kagome shoved her brother aside, and walked into the living room. "Hi Grandpa." She bent down and gave him a kiss on his cheek.
"Kagome that boy is a demon! Stay away from him. I have to bless this house all over again now," he muttered, with his arms crossed.
"Yeah Sis, your boyfriend is a demon!" Souta teased.
"What boyfriend?" her mother asked as she walked in.
Kagome rolled her eyes, a faint blush on her cheeks. "He isn't my boyfriend. We are just dating."
"Is it that nice young man with the motorcycle? Please be careful on that thing. Wear safety gear. I worry, you know." She placed a hand on her daughter's shoulder.
"I will. Promise. I'm going to get ready for bed. I had a long day. I'll see you in the morning. Night!" She ran up the stairs to her room and closed the door behind her. She began to think over the day's events as she changed into a pair of warm pajamas. Kagome laid across her bed, embarrassed at her heart rate's increase at just the thought of Kouga's lips over hers. It was just as amazing as she thought it would be. She sighed happily as she snuggled underneath her pink comforter, eager for tomorrow to come so she could see him again.
Sango awoke the next day to text messages from her best friend, inviting her over to work on their math homework. She groaned as she rolled over in bed, and threw her phone on the floor. She groggily rubbed her eyes, as she sat up and stretched. What was Kagome thinking, texting her so early? She rarely got to sleep in on weekends thanks to work. Kagome knew that.
Sango dug through her closet for warm clothes, and made a note to herself that she would need to grab her winter clothes from the attic soon. Maybe she should ask Kohaku to do it for her. He would need his stuff too.
Sango left a note on the fridge, explaining where she went, and sent a text to her (still sleeping) brother to please bring the winter clothes down, and headed over to Kagome's.
Kagome greeted her with a brilliant smile, and led her upstairs to her room. There was already juice and some chips on her vanity waiting to be consumed.
"Was our math homework really that important?" Sango grumbled.
"Obviously. But there's more," Kagome grinned.
"What happened?" Sango asked, as she began to pull her math textbook out of her backpack.
Kagome had to pull Buyo off the top of hers. "I saw Kouga yesterday…," she trailed off.
"Right." Sango confirmed.
"Well, we sort of made out."
"You did! I need all the details!" Sango squealed, and made a grab for the bowl of chips. Kagome recalled the night before while Sango looked on in excitement.
"I can't believe you made out in the middle of their living room! And Sesshomaru is going to propose! I don't know what is believable anymore." Sango was in shock. "So are y'all official now?"
"Not yet. I mean, he never really asked me. He just kissed me. Gods, it was wonderful. I want him to settle things with Ayame first. It's weird since she is in the band with them, and from what he told me, she really has a thing for him. I just don't want another situation like with Inuyasha to happen. I'm sure it will be fine after they settle that. I made myself very clear that I wasn't okay just being another girl. I wasn't looking for that."
"When are you going to see him next?"
"He said he was going to try to see me today. If the snow stuck, then we would try to build a snowman. I don't think that's going to happen though," Kagome replied as she took a peek outside her window. She saw gray clouds, and droplets of snow turned to water, run down her window. "It's freezing." She shivered.
"That's what happens every winter." Sango joked.
Kagome just rolled her eyes and grabbed her phone. It was still early afternoon, but she thought she would have heard from him by now.
Kouga drummed his fingers nervously on his jiggling leg. Ayame responded she would be back in town earlier than expected, and she would come over soon He was about to deliver the news of what he considered was a break up.
Was it even a break up? It was just one date. Why was he feeling so nervous?
Then it hit him.
He never actually dumped anyone before. His hands started clamming up, and his stomach felt like it was full of lead. He couldn't do this. They will just stay together forever and end up married. That's a fine alternative.
He ran his fingers through his loose hair. Breaking up is hard to do.
Then his heart reminded his brain of Kagome. The way she laughed when he said something idiotic, and how she smiled that flirty smile just for him.
He could do this. For her. For them. He took a deep breath, and continued to wait.
"Whatcha thinking about?" Pale arms wrapped around his neck, and he felt lips place a kiss on his cheek.
Kouga fought back the urge to jump. Very few people could sneak up on him. He untwined Ayame's arms for him, and pulled her forward.
"Hey. How was your break?"
"Boring. Grandpa was lecturing me on taking over the family business. He has already lined up future boyfriend's for me."
"Future boyfriend's?"
"Oh don't worry. He just wants me to end up with a guy that would be good for our business. I told him I was too young to even think about that. Besides, I have you." She smiled up at him. Her nose was pink from the cold, and Kouga wondered if tears could freeze in this weather.
"About that, we have to talk...It's just…..Well….Look, it's like...Uhmm…" Kouga took a deep breath. "I don't think we should date anymore. I still have feelings for Kagome, and she has feelings for me. I just don't feel the same way about you, like I do her. You're great, and funny, and so pretty, and a great singer. I know you'll find someone else. It's just, I can see a future with Kagome, and I don't want to risk missing out on her. I'm sorry, please forgive me."
"Is this some kind of joke?"
"What? No. Look, I really want us to be friends, but I hope you understand what I'm trying to say. Kagome...I just really think something is there." He looked at Ayame, and was shocked to see a smirk on her face.
"If that's what you want, I won't stop you."
"So, we're okay?"
"Of course. We were friends first. Besides, this doesn't mean I am going to give up. I'm beautiful, smart, and rich. You can have fun with Kagome, but I know I'll win in the end. Don't make me wait too long. See you at practice!"
He watched in disbelief as she walked back to her car. He had to admire her confidence, but he knew that she wasn't the girl for him. He pulled out his phone, and started a text message to Kagome before his aunt called for him to come inside.
"What's going on?" He asked.
"I really hate to ask, but Kanna called in sick today, she has the flu. Do you mind coming with me to the bakery to get a head start on some pastries? I have the feeling she won't be in tomorrow either." Kagura grabbed her pearl colored pea coat off the chair, and shoved her arms in the sleeves.
Kouga fought back a sigh. "Yeah, sure, that's fine." He followed his aunt out to the car and sat in the passenger's seat. Kagura reversed out of the driveway as Kouga sent Kagome a message apologizing for bailing on today.
This was their first official date, and he already bailed. He cringed at the thought of what she would say. His phone vibrated, letting him know she responded. Kagome assured him it was fine, and told him she would see him at lunch the next day. He smiled as he read the text message. He needed to make it up to her.
"I need a favor." He asked his aunt.
"Sure, what?" She responded.
Kagome nervously fidgeted as she waited for Kouga to show up for school. Sango sat next to her, eating her breakfast taco and catching up on her English homework. Sango asked Kagome a question, but it was hard to decipher with her mouth full.
"What?" Kagome spared a glance to her friend, but keeping an ear out for the roar of a motorcycle engine.
Sango swallowed her food, and repeated, "I said, did you finish reading Romeo and Juliet? What happens in the end?"
Kagome stared at her in shock. "Doesn't everyone know how that story ends!? We've seen the movie!"
"Yeah, but they always change the storylines from book to film." Sango dismissed her shock with a wave of her hand.
"Not with Shakespeare," Kagome argued.
Sango just took another bite of her taco, and looked at Kagome patiently for the answer.
Kagome sighed, and pushed her hair back with her bangs. "They die. Romeo and Juliet die."
"Oh, so that was real? What was your feeling on that scene?" Sango read off of her homework.
"I'm not answering your homework questions. Why are you always so behind in English anyways?"
Sango was about to answer before she heard the unmistakable roar of a bike engine. Sango grinned at Kagome's blushing face. "Your boyfriend's here," she teased.
Kagome muttered a quick shut up, as she anxiously adjusted her forest green peacoat, and tried to flatten her bangs. How was she supposed to act around him now? Was it the same? What if he changed his mind? Her stomach dropped. Oh Gods, what if he changed his mind?
Kagome's fears were quickly dismissed as Kouga quickly spotted her out of the crowd and grinned. He shoved his helmet in his backpack, and made his way over to her.
"Morning sunshine," his smile grew even bigger as he placed an arm around her shoulders and kissed her temple. He felt like he could finally breathe again with her next to him. He sighed contentedly. She bit her lip as he used her nickname for her, and tried to breathe evenly as she felt her heartbeat increase. Was she ever going to get used to this? She never felt this way about Inuyasha.
"Did you bring lunch today?" Kouga asked.
"Yes, why?"
"Don't eat it. I made lunch for us today. Well not me, Auntie did. She felt bad I had to bail on our first date since Kanna called in sick. I thought it could be a redo of our first date official date. Is that okay?"
Kagome's smile spread across her face as she looked in his earnest, blue eyes. "That sounds perfect."
"May I escort you to your locker?" Kouga offered his hand to the blushing Kagome.
"You're ridiculous, but yes," she laughed at him. She waved bye to Sango as she let Kouga drag her through the crowd that was starting to whisper as they saw the two together. The fight at Sango's birthday party was gossip for weeks, and the cafeteria incident between Kagome and Inuyasha was still fresh on everyone's minds. Kagome could hear the whispers as she and Kouga walked through the student body. She brushed it aside and clung tighter to his hand. She was happy with Kouga. That's all that mattered.
The happiness died in an instant as she saw Inuyasha waiting for her at her locker. She felt Kouga falter in his steps, and his hand gripped hers tighter. As Inuyasha saw them walk up, his shoulders tensed, and his eyes narrowed.
"What are you doing here?" Inuyasha sneered at Kouga.
"I think you mean, what are you doing here?" Kagome interjected.
Inuyasha faced Kagome and eyed her reproachfully. "You have my senior ring."
"Are you sure?"
"I can't find it anywhere. The chain broke right when school started, and you placed it in your locker. We never got a new one."
Kagome stared at him blankly as she realized he was right. She never gave it back to him. She knew it was shoved somewhere at the bottom of her locker, underneath books and papers.
"You know my combination. You could have gotten it yourself," Kagome said as she stepped to her locker, constantly aware of Kouga standing beside her as a guardian.
"It's not really okay for me to do that anymore, is it?" Inuyasha quietly asked.
Kagome hid her head in the locker to avoid answering as his question sunk in. She rummaged the articles in her locker around until she saw the glint of the class ring with the red stone. She carefully pulled it out, and turned to face him.
"One class ring." She presented it to Inuyasha, a sad smile gracing her face. The memories of all the good things they shared came rushing back, as all memories do when something ends.
He took it gingerly from her hands, staring down at it, before he hastily slid it on his finger. "Thanks. I'll, uh, I'll see you around."
Kagome turned back to her locker as she carefully grabbed her notebook for first period, pulled it out, and shut the door.
"You alright?" Kouga asked.
Kagome almost jumped, nearly forgetting he was there. She smiled at him adoringly. "I'm just fine." She kissed him on the cheek, and presented her arm to him. "May I escort you to your locker, my good sir?"
Kouga barked out a laugh. "You're right, that is ridiculous." She tugged his arm, as they made their way down the hallway that was starting to crowd. "You know, I won't be able to walk you to class if you escort me to my locker."
"So?"
"It's just not a very boyfriendy thing of me to do."
Kagome grinned at him. "Boyfriend, huh?"
Kouga blushed and stuttered out something, before Kagome shushed him. "Well I wouldn't be a very good girlfriend if I didn't escort you to your locker, like you did for me. It's a dangerous world out there," she joked.
"You'll always have me to protect you."
Kagome licked her lips, and bit her bottom lip as his words sunk in. She could feel the heat in her body rising, and felt the butterflies flutter in her stomach. Always with the damn butterflies.
"And I'll protect you. I'm quite good with a bow and arrow."
"I know," he laughed. Kouga pulled her to his locker, and entered in his combination. He carefully put their lunch in, while grabbing his notebooks. The warning bell rung, and he pulled her in to give her a kiss on the forehead. "I'll see you at lunch, Sunshine." He sauntered off, and left Kagome there to catch her breath, before she rushed to first period before the late bell rang.
The next few weeks were filled with study dates to prepare for finals, stolen kisses in between classes, flushed faces from staying out in the cold, and enjoying each other's company. Kouga's show was cancelled due to a freak blizzard, and Ayame was still working on getting them a new slot after the holidays. The twins didn't mind, they were eager to study for their finals. Before they knew it, the winter break arrived, and they had three weeks off from school.
Kagome was curled up on Kouga's couch, with a fluffy blanket draped over her legs. Sleet was falling outside making it too dangerous to drive back home at the moment. Kouga walked in, bringing in two, steaming, mugs of hot chocolate, extra marshmallows, and a dash of cinnamon.
"So, I suppose I should ask, do you celebrate Christmas, or Hannukah, or anything else I am unaware of?" Kouga handed her the mug carefully.
"Christmas, why?" Kagome asked, sighing in relief as she wrapped her cold fingers around the warm mug.
"I didn't want to assume your religion. I thought it was better to ask, then to show up on Christmas with your present, and find out you expected eight days of presents."
"Well I'm not Jewish, so I can't say I know for sure how they celebrate, but we always celebrated Christmas." After a moment's silence, Kagome uttered, "Present? You got me a present?"
"Of course. I know we never talked about it, but I wasn't letting my best gal not get a present from me. It should be coming in tomorrow. I hope you like it." He smiled confidently as he pulled her close to snuggle in.
"I'm sure I'll love it. I got you a gift, too. It's kind of lame, but I think you'll like it. At least, I hope you will." Kagome bit her lip nervously.
"I'd love anything you get me. You can't lose. You are just that awesome." Kouga tilted her face up, and placed a soft kiss on her lips. Kagome felt her heart rate increase as she let him lazily kiss her. As much as she wanted to pull his face harder against hers, she was well aware of the hot cocoa mugs in their hands. Kouga pulled away and bumped his forehead against hers.
"Now, what do you want to watch?" He sipped his cocoa, and went to Netflix on his gaming office.
"Decisions, decisions," she muttered as she instructed him to scroll down. "There! Let's watch that."
"Lilo and Stitch it is."
"Don't tease. It makes me long for warmer places instead of this frozen hell," she whined.
"I would never tease you, Sunshine," he teased, a smile growing on his face.
"I know that tone. It's your teasing tone," she argued.
"Whatever you say babe."
They watched the movie in comfortable silence, silently listening to each other's steady breathing, as they relaxed and enjoyed each other's company. The mugs of hot cocoa sat on the table, forgotten after drinking half of it.
Kagome could feel her eyelids grow heavy when the door slammed open with a gust of wind. Kouga jumped up, causing Kagome to fall on the floor.
They both cursed at the same time. Kagome glanced up at Kouga with a betrayed look on her face, as he offered his hand to pick her up. "I'm so sorry!" He pleaded.
"I'm gonna get a bruise on my ass. I can feel it." She rubbed the sore spot as she followed Kouga to see what caused the door to open like that.
They wrapped arms around themselves as they looked outside to see Kagura battling with a fluffy….thing...that liked to splash in the puddles of sleet. "No! It's freezing, you'll get sick!" Kagura moaned at the fluffball.
"Auntie, everything alright?" Kouga stepped out. "Is that..?" Kouga looked at the fluffball and a smile spread across his face.
"Surprise!" Kagura wheezed out as she tried to pull the mass to the front door to no avail. A loud whistle caused the dog to look up and follow the noise inside. Kagura and Kouga both gave Kagome a look, and she just shrugged. "Come on, it's freezing!"
Kagura ran inside and firmly shut the door. She shook off her jacket, and placed it on the coat rack on the wall.
"Who is this handsome boy?" Kagome cooed as she ran back into the hallway with a towel from the restroom to dry off the dog.
"That is Kouga's new dog. Merry Christmas!" Kagura beamed.
"Auntie, what kind of dog did they say it was?" Kouga bent down to examine his new friend.
"They said he was a german shepherd, why?"
"He looks like...well...a wolf. He isn't even full grown yet, look at the paws."
"You mean he's going to get bigger!" She cried out.
Kagome stopped drying the dog, and looked at the dog closely. "Holy hufflepuff, Kouga is right. They can't legally do that, though. He must have been born from normal dogs, but somewhere down the line, a wolf got mixed in. If he was anything more than twenty-five percent, they would have put him down, or sent him to a wolf habitat."
Kouga let the dog smell his hand, before scratching his new dog behind the ears. "Was he there long?"
"Yeah, that's why I got him. He came in when he was a puppy with his brothers and sisters. They all got adopted out though, and there was just him left for the longest time. I felt bad for him," Kagura answered.
"They were probably just scared of the big bad wolf, weren't they?" Kagome spoke to the dog in a baby voice as she scratched underneath his chin. The dog responded by wagging his tail more violently. Kouga caught Kagome's eye, and she smirked at him.
"What are you going to name him?" Kagome asked.
"Not sure yet." Kouga watched as the dog lay down on the mat in front of the door. "I'm sure I'll come up with something.
"This present is for Kouga, from...Santa." Sesshomaru stood by the tree in a Santa suit passing out presents. He fought back against Kagura's ridiculous wish, but in the end she won. As she usually does.
"Gee, thanks Santa!" Kouga sarcastically exclaimed as he opened the gift. Inside was a new, top of the line, motorcycle helmet. "Kagura, you didn't have to do this. This must have cost a fortune." He stared at his aunt, unwilling to take the helmet out of the box.
"I didn't get you that." Kagura stared at the gift in bewilderment. A moment passed before Kouga and Kagura both looked towards Sesshomaru. The tips of his ears turned pink, as he muttered something along of the lines of it being no big deal, and he didn't want Kagura upset at his death.
The doorbell rang, and barking erupted underneath a pile of wrapping paper.
"Thor it's probably just Kagome," Kouga tried to assure his dog. Thor kept barking at the door knowing his quest to protect the house never ceases. Kouga did his best to move his heavy dog out of the way, as he opened the door. Kagome laughed as she saw Thor poking his head out in between Kouga's legs.
"Merry Christmas!" Kagome exclaimed as she was ushered in from Kouga. He kissed her in response. She smiled against his mouth as she kissed him back fiercely. They broke apart and smiled at each other, ignoring Thor's whining for attention.
"There was mistletoe. We have to honor all traditions," he flirted.
"That's funny, I didn't see any mistletoe."
"Oh, you're right, it's in this doorway." He pulled her to the kitchen doorway and placed his hand on her face. He brought his lips down on hers, and she greedily pulled him in closer. He fought the urge to growl as her smell consumed him. He nipped at her bottom lip, and she whimpered in pleasure. He pushed her against the wall, louder than he planned, and he heard his aunt get up to check on them. She pushed him away as she straightened herself out.
"What was that noise?" Kagura walked in.
"Just Thor's tail," Kouga explained.
"Thor, are you chipping the paint off my wall with your tail again?" Kagura asked Thor. Thor barked in response, unaware of his master throwing him under the bus. "Kouga, you have lipstick smeared on your cheek. Might want to wash that off." Kagura smiled at the two and went back to the living room to join her boyfriend.
Kouga hastily wiped the lipstick off with the back of his hand, and Kagome tried her best to wipe off any residue that traveled from her lips to her chin. The pair went back to the living room, ready to join in the festivities.
"Kagome." Sesshomaru greeted her as warmly as he could.
"Sesshomaru...you're in a suit...a Santa suit." Kagome fought the urge to laugh.
"This will remain in this room. Understood?" Sesshomaru glared threateningly, and Kagome nodded in compliance, before she hid her face in Kouga's shoulder to laugh. Sesshomaru sighed, and thrusted a gift to her. "This is from Kagura."
"Kagura you didn't have to get me a gift!" Kagome opened the gift to find a pair of gold earrings.
"The arrows made me think of you," Kagura explained. Kagome stood and walked over to her to give her a hug.
"Thank you. I love them!"
"These are for you!" Kagome handed her gift to Kagura, which were homemade dishtowels.
"Kagome, this is for you from Kouga." Sesshomaru handed the gift to her.
"I wonder what's inside." She cautiously opened the gift, and squealed in delight. She bit her lip as she launched herself to give her boyfriend a hug. "No way! You got us tickets to see Beauty and the Beast at the broadway center! That's amazing!"
Kouga hugged her back, ecstatic she loved her gift. "It won't be for a couple of months, so don't lose the tickets," he joked.
"I would never." Kagome placed the tickets back, and handed Kouga his present saying, "My present is totally lame compared to yours."
Kouga opened the small bag to find a framed picture of the couple at the Halloween dance that seemed so long ago. They looked at each other like they were already in love. His heart melted at the sight of it, never really knowing how he got this amazing girl. "This is great! I'll put it on my desk," he proclaimed.
"Are you sure it's not totally lame? I just saw the photos Sango got developed from the dance, and I just loved this one so much. I was hoping you would too."
"I really do love it." He kissed her cheek, and placed it back in the bag.
"Here we have a box for Thor." Sesshomaru pulled out a ream sized box filled with squeaky toys, balls, rope toys, treats, and sweaters for Thor. Thor wagged his tail happily, almost knocking drinks off the coffee table. Sesshomaru tossed him a stuffed a duck, and Thor happily started ripping it to shreds.
"I think that's all of them." Kagura rose from the chair, and was heading out to grab a bag to place the discarded wrapping paper in before Sesshomaru stopped her.
"There is one more left, actually," he called out.
Kagura heard a gasp, and she turned around to find Sesshomaru on one knee, with a jewelry box in his left hand. She looked at the box, to Sesshomaru, glanced at Kouga, then went back to looking at the box. "Sesshomaru?"
"Kagura, from the moment I met you, I knew you were the woman I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. I know I appear cold and callous to others, but you see past that. You have thawed out my heart, and being with you, you have shown me what it is like to truly love someone. I am willing to spend the rest of my life trying to make you as happy as you make me. You are my world, and I am just the moon trailing along behind it. With Kouga's blessing, I want to ask you, will you marry me?"
Kagura flung herself at Sesshomaru and kissed him as they toppled on the floor. "Yes! A thousand times yes!" Sesshomaru smiled as he heard the response, and helped her off the ground. He pulled out the vintage, five carat, emerald cut, diamond ring and placed it on his fiance's hand.
"I love you." Sesshomaru kissed her. As he released her, Kagura examined the ring.
"This must have cost a fortune! You know, I would have been happy with a ring from a gumball machine." Kagura watched it glitter in the light.
"It was free. It's an heirloom."
"Heirloom?"
"Yes, my mother's. My father gave it to her when he proposed. He got it from his mother, and so on, and so forth. That ring goes back at least four generations. It's appraised and insured yearly. I think last year it was worth, oh, a little over ten thousand," he answered, and proceeded to watch in horror as Kagura almost fainted. He led her over to the couch, and let her regain her balance.
"What's wrong? Should I have bought a new ring? Should I have spent more?" Sesshomaru panicked and looked to Kagome and Kouga for answers. They just stared back in shock. "Love, speak to me!"
"That's worth more than my car! It's too much, I can't take this." Kagura tried to take off the ring, but was silenced by a cold glare from Sesshomaru.
"You will do no such thing. That ring belonged to my mother, whom was the only other women I ever loved. I gave it to you not because of the cost, but because of the sentimental value. Nothing will give me more pleasure than to see you wear that ring for the rest of my life."
Kagura looked at the ring, and back to him. "You are just the most stubborn man I ever met. I can't wait for you to be my husband." She kissed him, and pulled him on the couch next to her.
Kagome and Kouga both offered their congratulations, and watched the happy couple enjoy their domestic bliss. Thor found a bone in his box of presents, and was happily crunching on it loudly, so happy to have a home at last. Kouga looked down at the cozy Kagome in his arms, and wondered if life could get any better than this. He didn't know if it could, but he would hate to reach his peak in high school. He kissed Kagome on the forehead, and she hummed happily in response. Kouga rested his head on hers, and he knew that he would do his best to keep her for as long as she would have him.
Thoughts? Did you like it? Did you not like it? Are you sad there is only the epilogue left? Can anyone say sequel!? I can't, unless y'all want one...
Read and Review. And as always...stay tuned. :)
