Phoebe opened her eyes and took in her surroundings. For a moment there, she felt confused that she woke up in her old bedroom at the Manor. She thought she was back to her and Cole's place.

For some weird reason she felt like Cole had been there. Perhaps, he had been.

She sighed. She was moody before her day had even begun. She felt horrible.

"Why Cole?" She whispered, as a tear rolled down her cheek.

She looked on her right and came face to face with a huge bouquet of wild red roses.

"What in the world..." Phoebe muttered and slowly slipped out of the covers and sat up.

She found a letter on top of the roses. She took a deep breath, grabbed the envelope and opened it. She already knew who these were from. So, he had been in there, she wasn't completely crazy.

"The moment I laid eyes on your angelic face, the whole universe ceased to exist for me. The first time you let me kiss you, I fell hard for you. Our first night together was beyond magical. The first time, you told me you loved me, you stole my breath away. When I proposed to you and eventually you accepted, you made me the happiest man in the world. I love you with all my heart and being and I always will. This day, two years ago, you did me the honour to become your husband, to call you 'my wife'. Phoebe, you are my past, my present, my future. You are my forever. I love you. Even if we are not together right now, I still want to wish you a happy wedding anniversary... So, baby, Happy Wedding Anniversary. I love you so much. I am sorry for everything. I love you and the gift you gave me, our precious daughter. I miss you. Fogive me."

Phoebe let out a sob. She could feel his love and she could feel how broken he was. Tears were falling down her face the whole time she was reading the letter.

"I love you, too." Phoebe whispered.

She was so conflicted. She couldn't shake off the thought of him cheating on her with another woman. Even if all the things he wrote were true, and she knew they were, that one thing destroyed her. It killed her. How could he sleep with another woman? Just... how? He was united in holy matrimony with her. She was his wife. How could he even lust for another woman so badly and actually give in?

She leaned towards the roses and smelled them. He always brought her flowers. She loved that about him.

"Why Cole?" Phoebe repeated. She turned her head towards the crib. Scarlett was waking up and she was getting a little fuzzy.

Phoebe wiped her tears away and went to her baby girl.

"Good morning, Scarlett. Morning, sweetheart." Phoebe said and brought her into her embrace. "Hey, my baby girl." Phoebe smiled to her.

Scarlett smiled back to her and Phoebe's heart jumped. Her baby gave her so much joy, even when she was feeling like complete and utter crap.

"How are you? You're so pretty, ladybug." Phoebe told her and gave her little kisses on her face.

After feeding her baby and having breakfast, she took a shower and got dressed. She put on some mascara, blush on her cheeks and her favorite rosey lipstick. She took one last look in the mirror and took in a big breath. She grabbed her purse and left the Manor. She got in her car and drove.

When she reached her destination, she took another big breath and just got into the building. She went up, opened the door and got into the big apartment.

"Phoebe." Cole whispered surprised.

"Hi."

"Hi." Cole let out a sigh and smiled lightly.

He tried to read Phoebe. Her face expression looked so serious.

"Are you mad I came over?" Cole asked.

Phoebe walked closer to him, after staring at him for a second and taking in his handsome appearance. He looked so good. She missed him like crazy.

"Your letter."

"Yes?"

"You meant all that?" Phoebe asked him.

"What do you think?" Cole looked at her hypnotised, as her delicious scent invaded his nostrils.

"I think that... I've missed my husband." She replied.

"I've missed you." He said.

"It's really been two years?" Phoebe asked.

"Yeah." Cole said.

Phoebe closed her eyes for a second and took in a deep breath.

"Scarlett misses you and I hate that she's stuck in the middle."

"I love my daughter and I miss her so much. I'd never leave her."

"I know, but this is not working."

"What do you mean?" Cole was afraid of what she was about to say.

"I think that she needs both of her parents under the same roof."

"So..." Cole whispered expecting her to say that she'd move back in to their place.

"I think we should come back." Phoebe said reluctantly.

"Yes. Thank you, baby." Cole smiled and took a big step towards her extending his arm to touch her.

"Don't." She stopped him.

"What?" Cole whispered with a sad expression.

"I'm not ready for us." She explained.

"Baby, I love you." Cole said breaking apart.

"I guess, that is not enough. I was not enough."

"Stop. You were enough. You are more than enough, I swear." Cole said desperately.

"You wouldn't feel the need to be with another woman physically, if I was enough."

"What the hell, Phoebe! You have to believe me that I didn't want to do that to you. Something made me. That must be it. There is no other explanation."

"What do you mean?"

"I don't know. Maybe that woman is a demon or a spell happened. I have no idea. All I know is that if I was thinking clearly, I would have never done that to you. I love you too much. You are it for me. You are all I need and all I will ever need. What do I have to do to prove that to you?"

"You think she's a demon?" Phoebe asked him.

"Maybe. I don't know." He replied. "I have to check it out."

"She still works with you?" Phoebe asked.

"No." He said.

"If you say so."

"Hey, I promise. Phoebe, please. I love you. I know I don't deserve you, but I do love you so much."

"So, two years of marriage, that's all we could ever handle?"

"No. We are forever." Cole slowly touched her cheek and caressed it.

He was afraid that she would pull away, but instead she closed her eyes. He gently pressed his lips on hers and after two seconds, she pulled away.

"I can't do this. I don't want you to touch me." She said.

Cole tried so hard to keep his tears back.

"Fine."

"I'm going to come back with Scarlett today, but we can't sleep in the same bedroom anymore."

"Baby steps?" Cole asked hopefully.

"We'll see." She said.

The couple stared at one another unaware of what the future had in store for them.
