Boq sat on the stairs leading down to the first floor. He had let Fiyero head on down for his unknown date with Elphaba. It was just too hard for him to go see Galinda right now. "What if she actually listened this time?" he thought to himself. He continued to sit there.

He missed reading. He missed cleaning. He missed organising. He really missed work.

Galinda got up from her bed and had a big decision to make: To stay in her dorm and be alone, or to be a woman and go see Boq. Before she chose, she had already headed out the door.

She walked through the courtyard to the boys' dorms and walked up the stairs to find Boq, alone. She sat down beside him and felt perfectly normal, forgetting the feeling that she had had.

"Are you okay?" she asked.

Boq sighed heavily. "Yeah." He continued to look at the step below.

Galinda frowned, knowing that he was lying. "Why don't you get some fresh air." she insisted, getting up from the stairs.

"Okay." Boq got up just after and walked out to the courtyard with the blonde who had obviously stolen his heart.

The air helped neither of them. They were silent. Boq never knew Galinda could be so quiet. "So what do you want to do?" he asked, breaking the silence between them.

"I have no idea." Galinda replied. "FiFi and Elphie went on a date, so I guess we don't have to worry about them for a while."

Boq smiled at this. It made things a bit less tense than they were. No one would be pushing the limits for either of them. "Maybe we could go get some ice cream!"

Galinda smiled.

"Only if you want to though."

Galinda nodded. "Okay!"

They headed to the car feeling great. It was like everything that happened never did. Like a dream.
