Next day, Alfea

I woke up feeling the warmth of sun on my cheeks and hearing birds outside singing. I opened my eyes to see my room just like I entered it last night. Messed. I wasn't such a tidy type. Since I lived alone for some time I didn't really feel the need to keep my place all tidy. I never got any visitors so I didn't have to worry about it.

I sat and rubbed my eyes. I looked around and then jumped up and went straight to my closet to get some dress. I took my usual T-shirt and skirt and put them on.

I looked outside and noticed the position of sun. It wasn't so high, which means it was like 9am or so. Ever since I lived in Alfea, no one is bothering to wake me up. Every time I ask them to wake me when they get up they just say there's no need to wake me.

At this time they should have classes so I still have free morning. Fortunately for me I have my special place to spend time at. I found it by accident. Few weeks ago I was just wandering around Alfea halls and when I wanted to lean against the wall I just fell through.

It was a big room full of musical instruments. With a little magic I learned how to use them all at once. So every day I was in Alfea left alone whole forenoon or even afternoon I stayed here and played. I could imagine any music and it instruments would play it.

That day it seemed like a usual day, but little did I know that this time they would aim the power of Legendarium straight at me.

I wandered through empty halls of Alfea walking to my special place. Before the wall I checked if someone wasn't following me and then stepped in. My blood froze by the sight I had. Instead on nice room of instruments I saw big yellow snake tail lying before my feet. I followed it up to see that tail turned into an upper human body. "N…N…Naga?"

She turned to me and I saw her white snaky eyes that really terrified me. She had long sandy hair just like her tail. Very long tongue was whipping beneath her sharp fangs "Sssssso, you're the one my mistressssss was telling me about. It'ssssss time to die Wyvern!"

She charged at me in a very surprising speed. I quickly made a backflip jumping from the room. When I landed I started running away. I heard her following me. She really didn't pay any attention to surroundings. I could say she was ruining the halls with her tail as she followed me "You cannot esssssscape Wyvern!"

I made a quick turn causing her to hit the wall in this speed. This gave me enough time to transform and get even faster. I made it to auditorium and quickly sealed it. However I heard her bashing to doors trying to get to me.

"Alright…" I said thinking out loud "What do I know about Nagas."

I even shrieked as powerful bash shook whole room "All right… Nagas… powerful beasts and mortal enemies of Dragons. They cannot fly and they cannot turn quickly in higher speeds." The room shook again causing me to gasp "She can smell me from miles away and she can sneak practically unheard. Maybe if I can get her to forest. I am faster, and my wings are advantage as well."

That was when she broke through the wall. I didn't lose any time and quickly jumped through the window and flew. She followed me into the forest just like I planned. I landed in the middle of courtyard and ran. She wouldn't be able to follow me if I flew right?

You know, for someone who has most of the body out of snake she really doesn't know how to sneak. While I jumped and landed on the other side of the wall with elegancy, she just broke through. I don't know, maybe she doesn't have doors in her house. Or she makes them as she goes.

I made it into the forest and she blindly followed me. I was sure she lost me from sight, which gave me more time, but she would eventually find me tracking my smell. I have to think something up and fast.

Finally I made it to mountains and into the cave. I knew that place. In one of first days I explored the surrounding of school in case of emergency. My guess is I have like 10 minutes before she finds me.

I took out the phone and quickly called Bloom "Come on, take it, take it!"

"Hey sis, you're awake already?" she asked as if nothing happened. I was sure that rumbling of our little chase in Alfea couldn't be unheard… or not felt.

"Are you kidding me? Are you out of Alfea?" I asked in both anger and surprise.

"We were going to attack the Cloud Tower. They managed to make it invisible however. We're on our way back now." She said calmly.

"So could you by any chance come here? AND HELP ME SURVIVE!" I yelled just before I heard something behind me.

I slowly turned to see Naga standing in the entrance. I guess she's faster than I fought "It's time to die."

She charged at me causing me to drop my phone, still connected to Bloom. I heard her calling my name in fear, but I had my hands full of defending myself. I grabbed her hands as she pushed me to the rock trying to kill me "What do you want from me?"

"I want revenge. And my mistresssss summoned me from Legendarium ssssso I could get it." She replied exposing her poisonous fangs.

"Revenge? What have I ever done to you?" I quickly twirled getting away from her. I needed to keep my space. If I get too close she can poison me or get me with her tail.

"You and your kind! You're all the ssssame. You call yoursssselves protectorsss. Yet you destroyed my kind!" she attacked me again, but I managed to dodge and she hit the wall of cave behind me.

"I know that dragons and nagas are enemies, but there's so few of both that there's no need to fight." I tried to reason with her "The two of us last of our kinds!"

She stopped "You mean there'sssss no other wyvern?" she asked, but I couldn't see if it was in anger, surprise or happiness.

"Yeah, I'm the last wyvern." I nodded.

"Good, then I can get rid oy your kind once and for all." She yelled and charged at me. I quickly dodged her and took off. I flew into the forest and thought hard about how to get rid of her. I found a clearing and got the idea.

"Flora will kill me for this." As I flew above the clearing I opened my mouth and fired. My blue fire burnt whole clearing. It turned into a field of ashes and dust. Then I hid in bushes.

I saw the Naga…walk…right into my trap. She stood in the middle of clearing trying to smell me, but since I just burnt whole clearing my smell was everywhere "Come out, come out wherever you are."

She couldn't see me or smell me and hearing of nagas' isn't the best on the world. Using my fairy wings I snuck behind her still covered in the shadow of forest. Then I attacked.

In a huge speed I swung my wings and hit her with my fist as hard as I could sending to the ground. However she was still conscious so I quickly hid in the forest again. She stood back up and I attacked again before she could notice me. This time she fell down on the ground and didn't get up.

I stood next to her gasping from exhaustion. My heart was beating very fast and I could feel drops of cold sweat running down my skin. I had to assure she stays like that and thought how ancient dragons fought them.

Then all of a sudden something grabbed me from behind and threw me into a tree. I hit it with so such a hard gush it broke. I quickly recovered right to dodge a tail. Swinging my wings I tried to get higher, but Naga's tail whipped around my ankle. I was stopped in the midair and she smashed me into the ground. This caused my blood get out of my mouth.

As I was unable to move while I've been waiting for my body to heal, Naga sneaked up to me. She was right above me preparing to kill me "I expected more from you. You're sssssssupposed to be Blue Wyvern after all." I didn't have strength to move or say anything "Look at you. Ssssssuch a child. Unable to fight." She exposed her fangs and attacked me.

But all of a sudden I didn't feel pain or fear. I lifted my hand and stopped her by grabing her by her throat. She struggled to get free, but my grip was just too strong. Well, it's not precise to say it was my grip.

And when I spoke without even wanting to speak I was totally freaked out "I will kill you." My voice was totally creepy. But the creepiest thing was my body wasn't mine anymore. I was like a watcher in my own body.

Whoever controlled my body threw Naga aside. She fell down coughing. Before she caught her breath my body kicked her into face making her pass out.

"MIRA!" All of a sudden I was in contol again. I looked up to see Winx flying up to me. As soon as Bloom landed she hugged me "I was so afraid."

"Sorry sis." was all I could say.

"What is that thing?" Tecna asked looking at the Naga.

"Naga." I replied "Mortal enemy of dragons. This one also seems to have a thing against wyverns."

"Are you all right?" Stella asked.

I nodded "Yeah, she didn't get to me." I decided not to tell them about our fight. At least till I find out what was that supposed to mean.

"What exactly happened?" Aisha asked pinning the Naga down with her morphix ropes.

"She appeared in Alfea. She was chasing me all the way from there to the cave in mountains. Then I… used a trap… to get rid of her." I said not sure how to put I burnt this clearing.

"By 'used a trap' you mean you burnt this place?" Bloom asked rather disappointed.

"Yeah." I replied all embarrassed "Sorry."

I stepped closer to the Naga and lifted her head. I slapped her few times and with some moaning she woke up. When she noticed me she tried to bite me few times, but was always stopped by morphix ropes pinned to ground "What do you know about wyverns?"

She evilly smiled and started laughing "So it was truth. You really don't know a thing about wyverns!"

"Answer my sister." Bloom said making a flame dragon behind her appear.

Naga looked at the dragon "I guess you know about the war of kinds."

I nodded "War of Dragons, Nagas and Titans. Before the Dragon dominion."

"Dragons would never win if there wasn't a special kind included." Naga said "It was the power of wyverns, children of Nar'asara. You were the reason of fall of other two empires. I remember you. You were…" all of a sudden she started disappearing. And with a scream of pain she was gone.

"Damn it." I yelled bashing into the ground.

"What happened?" Aisha asked.

"Selina called her back to Legendarium." I said standing back up "Before she could say anything about wyverns."

"Mira…" Bloom put a hand on my shoulder.

"Yeah." I sighed "Let's go to Alfea." I swung my wings taking off. Together with Winx we arrived back at Alfea.

First thing that caught attention of everyone was a hole inside of the wall few meters from the main gate "Someone was in a hurry huh?"

"Don't look at me!" I raised my hands in defense "I jumped over that wall without problem."

"But that race of yours damaged half of school halls." A sharp voice came from behind me and I knew I was in trouble. I slowly turned to see Miss Griselda and she looked very, very angry.

Now I realized everyone around was staring at me. Some of them had concerned faces, others were angry and some were pretending not to see me. That was when I realized something more was going on. Naga wasn't just hunting me down, she was supposed to do something more, but what?

"Miss Faragonda wants to see you in her office." She said in her cold angry voice and walked off. It was very clear she didn't mean Winx, but me personally.

I sadly nodded and walked off towards Miss Faragonda's office. I knew I was in big trouble, but seriously it wasn't me who did this. I was dodging every single obstacle while Naga was just bashing through them like a maniac.

When I was before Miss Faragonda's office I was so nervous… I tried to calm down and sighed letting steam out of me. When I did this I was just about to knock when I heard her voice "Come in, Mira."

I gulped and came in. I closed the door behind myself and walked closer to her desk "Miss Faragonda?"

"Mira, I have bad news for you." She said in her calm voice "Your race with that monster across the school didn't come unnoticed. You see… when parents of our students heard about it, they started sending me letters to cast you out of Alfea. About 50 of them already came and more are coming. I fear that not even I will be able to protect you before this."

"I see." I replied "They fear I might bring more attention of Trix to Alfea and so their girls would be in danger."

"Precisely." She said "I am very sorry."

"It's not your fault, Miss Faragonda." I shook my head "But please, do not tell Winx about it yet. I don't want them to get into my troubles."

"Do you have a place to stay at?" she asked concerned.

"There might be one." I replied after few seconds of thinking "Old Archive on Earth. I should be fine there."

"All right then. But let's not give up hope yet." She replied, but it wasn't somehow convincing. Now even I fear this might end up bad for me.
