Chapter 25

"Talking"

It was during the night time. Somewhere in the middle of Kanto.

The Pokémon were chirping, but less due to the night. living happily, happier than usual, few trainers came to catch Pokémon recently. All because of the current event the Pokemon League put up.

A Nidoking watch as his recently born child played with a baby Pidgey. It was almost time for bed for them.

Suddenly a small flash of light blinded them for an instant. The younger Pokemon's, being how curious they were, dashed to the bushes where the light came from before Nidoking could tell then not to. He was about to go after but the young ones came back, still looking happy. Then from the bushes a human figure came out.

Nidoking growled, thinking that the human would try To capture his son. But was flabbergasted when the han didn't even look at their way. He growled once again and was about to attack.

But it turned out that the human 'felt' Nidoking's anger and turned to face the horned Pokémon.

Nidoking froze in his place, the dark aura this human showed, scared him. His child hid behind a tree feeling the scary aura. Pidgey flew away long ago. Followed by many other flying Pokémon.

Nidoking turned and ran as fast as he could, taking his offspring along with him. He ran for hours but no matter how much he ran he couldn't forget those eyes, those cold, black, unforgiving eyes.

John stopped looking at his cards and looked out the window. 'It couldn't be... could it?'

"Something wrong?" asked Jake who noticed the younger man looking out the window with a serious face. After of course peeking at John's cards, and changing the one he put down on his turn. Jack was off with Cynthia, probably being 'friendly' with each other. Zoey had gone to her room at the Pokémon center.

"Hn? No. He said and put the cards down and pulled Jake's cards and began shuffling them.

"What gives?" Jake asked. He didn't get caught did he?

"I saw you looking at my cards., after these few years you should know that I don't lose at poker. I cab easily catch cheating." stated John as he began to divide the cards. "I bankrupted casino's with this ability."

"And now your planning to bankrupt me." Jake said, as anime years fell down his eyes while he looked at his pokedex to see the amount of money he has.

"That sounds so cruel, think of it as 'Torturing you Financially." said John with mock pain in his voice.

"That sounds worse!"

"... My bad."

Ash's eyes snapped opened but he did not move, glancing at his left he saw Cynthia snuggling to him, using his body as a pillow. He smiled but it went as it came and looked out the window that illuminated a little light and began to wonder.

'Could it really be... It is. It has to be, no doubt about it.'

Jack, Jake and John: *passed out for drinking to much*

Well that's a wrap and the final chapter of this story, I will publish another story known as Scars of A Life, Healings of An Eternity 2. It'll start from where this story finished.
