Hello lovelies. There's a poll in my bio for who's gonna be paired up next. Go and vote please. If you're reading this as a guest, you can put your vote in a review somewhere and I'll count it. Has anyone read the Mortal Intsruments series? Cause if so I have a story for that. Anyway, thank you to Mavcjs for volunteering to proofread stuff for me. So. Story time!

"So it looks like Gray and Juvia have worked out all the little bugs in their relationship." Lucy muses.
"Looks that way." I respond, taking a sip from my drink. "Where's Natsu?" I ask Lucy.
"He went out on a job with Happy." Lucy says.
"Oh. Cause I was wondering if you'd want to go on a job with me. I need some money to pay my rent and for food." I tell her.
"Sure. Do you have one picked out?" She asks.
"Yeah. Here." I hand her the paper. I had chosen it about half an hour ago. Apparently there were some bandits loose a few towns over.
"Looks good. But can we go to my house before we leave? I need to grab a few things."
"Sure." I say smiling. And with that we headed out.
After Lucy grabbed her things - her celestial whip and a change of clothes - we headed to the train station, and boarded our train.
"So Melody, what made you choose this job rather than the others? There were easier jobs with better rewards, you know."
"I know. It's just, I don't know. I kinda want a job that's gonna make me work harder." I say. "They all just seem to easy at the moment."
"Well," Lucy starts. "This one should be a bit harder than most of the jobs you've gone on."
After that it was quiet the rest of the ride. Mainly because I was fighting off some major motion sickness. The only bad thing about my magic, is that no matter how hard I try, I can't make it work on me. Most of the time it's a good thing. However, I can't make myself fall asleep with magic, which kinda sucked at the moment. Plus I forgot my special pill bottle Harmonia gave me. Which made the situation way suckier.
Once we're off the train, I ask Lucy if I can have a few minutes to regain my composure. Lucy looks at me for a few seconds, and then gets a look on her face that says 'I completely forgot something obvious.'
"Do you get motion sick?" Lucy asks.
"Yeah, kinda." I say.
"How could I be so clueless?!" Lucy exclaims.
"It's not your fault." I try to say. "I didn't tell you."
"I should have known. You're a dragon slayer. All of them have motion sickness. Natsu, Gajeel, and Wendy. Although, Wendy usually casts Troia on them when they're about to travel." Lucy continued.
After a few moments, I finally feel better, and we head towards the Mayor's. It takes us a while to get there, considering we had come in from the NorthWest border, and the office is in the NorthEast.
"Hello ladies." The Mayor greets us. He's not necessarily old. But he has wrinkles - probably worry lines - and graying hair.
"Hello." Lucy and I respond politely.
"I'm assuming that you two are the wizards for the bandits, based on the gear the two of you brought." He said, gesturing to Lucy's whip and my bag.
"Yes, we are." Lucy confirmed.
"Well, I only want two things from you. One: Please catch the bandits. One of my officers told me a few hours ago that they were in the SouthWest part of town."
"Okay. We got it." I assured. "What's the second thing?"
"I know about the Fairy's reputation." He announced. Me and Lucy give a look at each other. "So the second thing that I ask of you, is that you two don't destroy the town to horribly. I understand that some magic can't be contained completely. But don't let it get to out of hand." He warned.
"We won't." I answered. "My magic isn't one of the physical kind, and her magic usually isn't destructive at all."
"Very well then. Off you two go." He concluded. And with that we started heading towards the other side of town.
"Melody," Lucy called out. "How do you know what direction we're going in?"
"I'm a dragon slayer." I call back. "Our instincts on directions are as natural to us as our powers."
"Oh." Lucy replies. The rest of the way is quiet.
Once we enter the SouthWest district, we start to look for the bandits. It wasn't hard, considering they left a trail of destruction in their wake. However it did take us about 15 minutes to catch up to them.
"Hey bozos!" I yell at them. A total of five all together. They were tearing up a tavern, but paused when they heard my voice.
"Hey look, it's a couple of chicks." One of them says.
"Think they're here for some fun?" Another one asks.
"Dude, that one's got a whip." Says a third.
"Shit, dude. I think they're wizards!" A fourth one exclaims.
"No way." Replies the last one. "They're no where near strong enough."
At this point, I'm just about glowing blue with Dragon Force, And Lucy already has her keys in hand. And yet, they still pay no attention. The lot of them keep on tearing up the tavern, looking for more booze.
"I'm sorry Lucy." I say to her. "But I've had enough of this."
"Agreed." Lucy replies. "Open, gate of the Lion, Leo." She calls out.
"Lucy. Glad to see you again." Leo says. "I take it the men who are destroying the bar are the ones I've been called out to attack."
"Please and thank you." Lucy replies with a smile.
Leo turns to look at me. "I'll take the two fat ones?"
I smile at him, it probably looks like I'm ready to murder someone, and nod. "Sounds like a plan."
I know I know. I keep putting off the fight scene. Next chapter. I promise. So, does anyone remember the Pill bottle from Chapter 11? This is just an extra, she has yet to tell everyone else the bottle. It's never really crossed her mind. Oops.
