It was a difficult day for everyone, and no one could sleep, even the two humans in the hotel. There was too much to think about, too much to worry about for anyone to sleep. It was not until the next night that Julia awoke.

Both Matt and Aimee had been in the room keeping each other company while they watched their daughter for any signs of improvement. Matt was the first to see Julia shuffle under her sheets causing him to jump off the couch and sprint towards Julia with Aimee not far behind realizing why Matt was acting the way he was.

"She is stirring, get everyone up here!" Matt said.

Aimee nodded and went over to the skull phone and called Drac. Drac would then work on getting the rest of the family to the infirmary as fast as possible.

Everyone all arrived at the same time and entered the infirmary excited and hopeful. What they saw was exactly what they had all hoped for. They saw Julia sitting up in bed and talking with her parents. Julia turned her attention towards the people walking into the room and her face lit up with excitement.

"Mavis! Dracula! Hello everyone! Guess what!?" Julia said in a tone of a child who just found out what they were getting for Christmas a month early.

"What is that sweetie?" Drac asks.

"I am a vampire now! Can I change into a bat now like you and Mavis? Ooh! Can I walk on the ceiling now too? This is so cool!" she yells happily unable to contain her excitement.

Everyone in the room is ecstatic that she appears to have her memories back, but they did not want to get their hopes up too high in case she still has not remembered everything.

Mavis makes her way all the way to Julia and sits down on the bed next to her, extends her arms out to hug Julia, who gladly shifts into it and Mavis gives her a bone crushing hug.

"Oh honey I am so happy to see you are OK." Mavis says and gives a long pause. At this moment nearly all the worry, dread, and sorrow that had filled her heart had been lifted seeing that Julia was OK. After learning that Julia may never get her memories back, seeing Julia spasm and bleed from her nose only shortly after seeing some memories return was nearly too much for Mavis to handle. Mavis was lost within her own thoughts until Julia says.

"Mavis?"

"Oh sorry." Mavis says releasing Julia and nervously tucking some of her hair back behind her ear. "You are a Vampire now, but you cannot turn into a bat or talk on walls yet." Mavis says putting emphasis on the word "Yet."

Julia's face slumped a little at this but Mavis continued.

"Oh don't worry though, now I get to ask you… guess what?"

Julia's face soon filled with eager anticipation.

"What!?" she yelled unable to contain herself.

"You only need to learn how to become a bat, and I will teach you myself just like I did for your mom and dad."

Julia quickly looked at her parents with wide astounded eyes.

"You guys can be bats now too!? I wanna see!" she said as she bounced up and down on the bed.

Everyone in the room could not help but giggle at seeing her like this.

"I have one better for you than that my dear, we can all turn into bats now." Johnny said as he winked at Julia.

Johnny looked around to everyone, and they all knew what Johnny had in mind. Everyone then shuffled around a bit so they all had enough room.

"Ok, on three. One… Two… Three!" Johnny said.

On three everyone in the room with the exception of Marie and Tim all changed into bats in puffs of purple smoke. Soon the room was full of bats that followed Johnny's lead and all landed on the bed in front of Julia.

The look on Julia's face was one of pure priceless astonishment with her eyes wide, and her jaw dropped. Matt and Aimee made their way closer to their daughter. Matt flew up to Julia's left shoulder while Aimee flew up to her right shoulder. They both nuzzled against Julia's cheeks.

"We love you honey." Aimee said.

Julia then tenderly grabbed both Matt and Aimee bringing them together in both her hands and alternated kisses between the two of them and rubbing them against her cheek.

"I love you too." Julia said.

While Julia held both her parents, the rest of the group changed back into human form.

"Oh I wish I had a camera right now." Mavis said.

"Oh! Hold on a sec. Got it!" Johnny said as he got out his phone. "Say cheese."

"You know Johnny; you are going to have to share that picture with all of us." Drac said

"Of course, wouldn't have it any other way." Johnny replied.

Everyone in the room chuckled at this.

"Ok honey, time to put mommy and daddy down now." Aimee said.

Julia did as she was told and the two changed back into human form.

"I never thought I would every say something like to my child that in my life." Aimee said amused.

Drac then approached the side of the bed and knelt down taking one of her hands into his.

"Honey, I would like to as you a few questions alright?" Drac said.

Julia nodded with a smile on her face.

"Do you know where you are right now?" Drac asked.

"I am at a really cool castle-hotel-thingy filled with monsters!" she said excitedly.

"That is good. Do you remember the names of everyone here?" Drac continued.

Julia looked around the room saying everyone's name as her vision went past them.

"Excellent honey. Do you remember the names of Mavis's family?" Drac asked.

"There is Frank, Eunice, Wayne, Murray, Griffin, and Wanda. Where are they?" Julia asked.

Just as Julia asked this, Wanda entered the room. In all the excitement, everyone forgot she was still here as everyone else had to return home.

"I am right her Sweetie."

"Wanda!" Julia said.

Wanda came over and gave Julia a big motherly hug.

"I am so glad to see you are ok." Wanda said patting the back of Julia's head.

"Wanda, I'm a Vampire now!" Julia said happily and opened her mouth to show her "new" fangs.

"Why yes you are, and you are the cutest little Vampire ever." Wanda said while looking at Mavis.

Mavis nodded with a smile in agreement that Julia really was the cutest Vampire ever (apart from her Johnny that is.)

As everyone continued to talk amongst each other and to Julia, Marie brought Bill over to the door of the infirmary bringing him out into the hallway.

"There is something we need to talk about." Marie said.
