You'd better review!

The game started and the Fire Ferrets had met their match. The score was tied 3-3, 8:25 left in the first half. Korra didn't realize it but she was biting her nails and was pulling on her hair. She was nervous, she was very nervous. This was the championship game! If they win, then they are the best team in the state! That would be a first for this school!

"Oooo and Mako goes down at the 57 yard line! 2nd and 19 now for the first down! Will the Bears get the ball? Speaking of Bears, this game is brought to you by the local zoo! Coupons at the concession stands! Here's the snap, Mako's under pressure! Number 14 on the defense chases him down the field! He is searching frantically for someone open but the Bears have everyone covered! Hold on to your hats folks! Mako is going to run it down the field! He gets past the 50, to the 40 for the first down! Oh my god and he is still going! He's at the 30, the 20, TOUCHDOWN FIRE FERRETS! Not a single flag thrown, amazing! What an amazing run! Mako Anderson has impressed us yet again folks! Holy shit! Excuse my language but that was an awesome play."

"Gooooo Mako!" Korra stood up and yelled at the top of her lungs.

He took of his helmet and saw her in the crowd, standing on the bleachers cheering for him. She was hotter than any cheerleader he had seen. He smiled and waved at her and she waved back.

She sat back down and turned to the man next to her, "That's my boyfriend!"

He looked at her with boredom and nodded.

She settled back down and watched the rest of the game. By half time the Bears had scored a field goal so the score was 10-6 Fire Ferrets. She ran down and caught Mako before they went to discuss plays. When he saw her, he waved and walked over to her.

She stood on her tip toes and kissed him, he kissed her back with just as much love.

"MAKO! HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU NOT TO KISS YOUR GIRLFRIEND AT HALF TIME?! YOU DO THIS EVERY FRIGGIN TIME!" They heard his coach yell.

Mako cringed and gave her an apologetic look before sprinting off towards his team.

She rolled her eyes, still smiling from the kiss. She walked back to her seat and waited for the second half.

Once there was only 1 minute left in the game the Bears were up by one field goal, 24-21. Korra was on the edge of her seat. The Bears just scored and were kicking the ball. If the Fire Ferrets wanted to win then they couldn't let the Bears get the ball. Bolin received the ball and ran it to the 50 yard line.

"And Bolin will be stopped at the 48 yard line. Mako is looking for someone to be open, he is searching the field for someone to be open. He found Green and is throwing a dart at him, he catches it and runs for the first down! And he gets it, just barley! The ball is hiked and Mako will pass it to Bolin! He runs and is just short of the first down! The ball is hiked and is thrown to Bolin! He runs and get tackled at the 26! Mako looks for someone to be open but no one is! He will get sacked at the 31 yard line! 2nd and 15! They get it up to the 19 yard line, just short of the first down! Now it's 3rd and goal with only 4 seconds leftBall is hiked and Mako is on the run! He had no time to look for someone to throw too! He runs and is blocked at the 5 yard like by a line of defenders! Wait, what's this? MAKO JUMPED OVER THE LINE AND GOT KNOCKED INTO THE END ZONE! TOUCH DOWN FIRE FERRETS! THE FIRE FERRETS WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP! THE FIRE FERRETS WIN!"

The whole team ran to Mako and hoisted him up on their shoulders.

"MAKO! MAKO! MAKO!" The whole school cheered.

He took off his helmet and raised it into the air in victory. Everyone in the bleachers for the home team ran onto the field, including Korra. She ran up to the pleayers and Mako stuck out his hand for her to take. One of the other players lifted her up onto their shoulders.

Mako leaned over and gave her a big kiss which she gladly returned.

"Congrats City Boy." She had to yell so that he could hear her.

"I only scored because I was thinking of you." He said back.

Next day

"Hey babe." Mako said as he walked into the house, he wrapped his arms around her waist and she wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Hey." She breathed and then kissed him. He smiled and kissed her back.

"Hello Mako." A deep voice said.

Mako pulled away and blushed, he looked at her father and smiled sheepishly.

"Hello sir." He said, rubbing the back of his neck nervously.

"You here to take her to the court for the trial?" He asked.

"Yes sir, or were you going to take her?" Mako asked, wrapping an arm around Korra's shoulders.

"Well she wanted to go there with you, her mother, brother, and I will be coming in a separate car." Tonraq said.

"Alright." Mako nodded.

"Well, you two should get going if you don't want to be late, we will be leaving shortly too." Tonraq said.

Mako saw Korra'a face drop so he pulled her a little closer to comfort her.

"Come on Korra, it'll be okay." He reassured her.

"Actually Korra you go on to the car, I want to talk to Mako." Her father said.

She gave him a confused look but nodded. She walked out to the car and waited for Mako.

"W-what did you want s-sir?" Mako asked, trying not to shake. He was scared of Korra's father, every boyfriend usually was afraid of their girlfriends father.

He was surprised when Tonraq walked up to him and rested a hand on his shoulder, a serious but soft look on his face.

"Keep her safe. She will get scared up there, she doesn't like to talk about Tahno. Especially in front of people she doesn't know. If I know Tahno, he will be giving her dirty looks the entire time, trying to get her to say something in his defense. Please be there for her when she needs you. And today... well she will need you. A lot. Just don't let her do this alone, don't let her down."

"Of course not! You didn't even have to tell me that sir! You know I love her, of course I will be there for her!" Mako exclaimed, he couldn't believe her dad thought that he had to tell him to do that.

Tonraq smiled, "I know son, I'm just reminding you."

Mako looked at him and smiled, it was a good moment between the two of them.

"She is probably wondering if I have killed you by now." Mako chuckled. "Maybe you should go, and don't forget. You will see Tahno and I know you want to kill him, trust me I do too, but we must contain ourselves. For her."

Mako nodded, "Yes sir. I will see you there."

He walked out the door and to the car where Korra was waiting for him.
