Chapter 25: Customizable
Well looks like we're back. High school, not the most fun of places, especially if you're a junior.
But enough of that, let's get a readin'!
"You don't say?!" male Robin gasped. The tactician had been paired up with the Galaxy the mii, and she had many interesting facts about the other smashers. Robin didn't consider himself much of a gossip but he was finding that he was enjoying himself.
'This is for . . . research,' he thought to himself, 'The more I know about everyone else, the easier it will be the come up with new tactics.'
"So last night I saw Fox and Falco sneak into Duck Hunt's room and sneak off with a ton of their explosives." Galaxy said.
"What did they do with the explosives?" Robin asked, he didn't like the idea with Falco with explosives . . . Robin owed him a hundred smashcoins.
"I don't know, I don't think they've used them yet." the mii answered truthfully. A loud explosion resonated through the mansion and shook everything. Robin and Galaxy heard a scream a scream coming toward them and Master Hand crashed through the door "I think I know what they used the explosives for now." said Galaxy.
"Me too." Robin said, he grabbed his phone, which had an Ylisse phone case, and pressed the pill button. Seconds later Dr. Mario came in and shook his head as he noticed the slightly singed not-hand.
"This is beyond my abilities, I don't know how the body of a giant disembodied hand turned into a human works." Dr. Mario motioned for someone to come in, Peach came in wearing her white dress outfit and put Master Hand on a hospital bed. "We'll just let him rest and hope for the best."
"I hope you know how JRPG characters function." Robin muttered under his breath.
"Nope," Dr. Mario answered as Peach rolled Master Hand over the broken door "I'm taking those classes next year." the doctor said walking out of the room. Robin paled slightly and Galaxy wrote down the new piece of information about the doctor.
"Speaking of JRPG characters, did you hear that Cloud from Final Fantasy seven is coming to the tournament?" Galaxy asked as she kept on writing.
"Uh, yes," Robin cleared his throat "It'll be exciting to have one of the most iconic people of all time, especially since he's a famous JRPG character."
"What about Marth?" Galaxy asked.
"That isn't from Fire Emblem." Robin smiled sheepishly "Marth is great and all but sometimes he can get full of himself, being royalty and all . . . something that seems to have passed down to his lineage."
"Huh. So what's up with you and Meta Knight?" the mii said changing the topic abruptly, Robin raised an eyebrow causing Galaxy to sigh "Is there anything going on between you-" she was cut short as Meta Knight bust in and launched to mii into the hallway
"Robin." Meta Knight said to Robin, not looking at the tactician. Robin gave an awkward wave, more confused than anything, Meta Knight stole a quick glance and teleported out of the room.
"Okay geez, I get the message," Galaxy yelled out loud, walking back into the room "I won't say anything, so Chrom and Lucina are full of themselves?"
"Sometimes, Chrom not really, Lucina . . . has her moments." Robin left the sentence vague.
"Wait, wait, wait," Galaxy held up her hands, "Your Chrom and Lucina, or the other Robin's Lucina?"
"How about both." Robin deadpanned, "They're mostly the same from what Robina has told me."
Galaxy raised an eyebrow "Robina?" she asked slowly. Robin blushed a little and scratched the back of his head.
"That's what me and the other Robin call each other, she's Robina and I'm Robino, it's silly." said Robin as he pulled out a journal and started writing, trying to avoid the conversation. Galaxy eyed the journal greedily,. she went under the table and resurfaced behind Robin's shoulder. She quickly scanned the pages trying to read as fast as she could. Robin immediately closed the book and whacked Galaxy with it.
"Ow! What did you do that for?!" the mii cried out clutching at her new wound.
"Reading from another's personal belongings is not something you should be doing Galaxy, I almost have half a mind of telling everyone about that little journal of yours, it seems you like writing down information about the others." Galaxy gasped and grabbed her journal tightly.
"No you wouldn't!" she said, her voice faltering between words.
Robin smiled softly to himself. 'Got her,'
"Really? Because I bet a lot of smashers would like to see what exactly you have written down in that journal of yours."
Galaxy narrowed her eyes, she'd done this to other people before to know what was going on.
"What do you want?" Galaxy asked cutting to the chase.
"What were you going to say about Meta Knight before he attacked you?" Robin smiled. Galaxy shook her head almost immediately
"You do remember that he ATTACKED me right?" she scoffed, "If I told you then he'd barge in here again and cut me into sushi for Kirby."
"Well what's worse, one smasher after you or every smasher after you?" Robin had her trapped now. Meta Knight rushed into the room and dashed with sword drawn toward Galaxy. The mii screamed as the blade came running toward her; Robin shot out of his seat and spread dark magic that engulfed him and Galaxy.
Galaxy stopped screaming saw that the purple magic had Robin and her in a mock image of the room
"What is this place?" Galaxy asked, hugging herself.
"A place created by dark magic, Meta Knight has no idea where we are. Now spill the beans or a giant death dragon is going to start eating everything." Galaxy didn't understand at all what was going on, but she also didn't want to get eaten by a dragon. She leaned over to Robin and whispered into his ear.
Line Break Line Break Line Break
Meta Knight was gliding around the room in rapid cycles, most accurately, freaking the fuck out.
"This is not happening, this is not happening, this is NOT happening!" he stopped gliding and stood still "This is actually happening." Meta Knight closed his eyes and fell face first against the ground. All the people he'd hurt to not let his secret get out, and here he was now.
Purple light filled the room and Robin and Galaxy reformed into the room. Robin clutched his head as his face contorted with pain "What happened?" he asked.
"Wait you don't remember anything?" Galaxy asked, Meta Knight shot up and picked himself up from the ground.
"Not really," Robin said. "I think I was going to use Nosferatu but it backfired." The star warrior turned towards Galaxy for confirmation the mii shook her head violently, confirming the information.
"I think I'm going to see if I can get some food" Robin said walking over the still broken door, "I feel like having bloody meat for some reason." He stopped at the door and turned slightly to look at Galaxy; Robin caught the mii's eyes and winked, and with that he walked out of the room; like a boss.
According to my list of future chapters I mixed up the mii brawler and the mii gunner, yet I think this was a lot more fun than if it had been the way it was originally going to be. So I'm happy with that turnout.
By the way, Cloud in ssb! There might be some of you against it but I am totally for it, SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY NINTENDO. Also I look forward to seeing Ike and Cloud be shipped, or Robin and Cloud, if you guys see a pairing like that send me the link to the story please! Through PM.
