Note: I do not own any of these characters….except Ardesind. But he's only here a bit. R&R! I'm just having some fun trying my had at FanFic!

Thank you all for your comments and messages! Technically it IS January 2nd...so, because I'm such an awesome person, and because I can't sleep, I've decided to post the next 2 chapters. Lucky you! Drop me a note! I love getting them :) They make me happy!

River appeared outside Ardesind's office at the university. She carefully unstrapped the vortex manipulator from her wrist and put it in her pocket.

She knocked. "Come in." Ardesind's voice called and she entered.

"Ah! River! Come in, come in! What can I do for you?" he asked, happy to see her.

She took a seat opposite his desk and folded her hands in her lap. "I'm actually here to see if you might let me have another look at that scroll you let me study. I think I've missed something important."

He looked a bit taken aback but smiled and answered, "Yes, of course!"

He walked over to the intercom on the wall and punched in some numbers. Instantly, a vault opened in the wall and he pulled out the scroll, bringing it to River and placing it in her hands.

"There's a desk over in that corner." he said, gesturing. "I'm afraid all the studies are reserved for exams."

River stood and thanked him, heading over to the far corner of his large office where there was a table and chair waiting for her.

Ardesind went back to work, giving her the peace and quiet she needed and she began to read.

By the second hour of studying, River was becoming quite frustrated.

There isn't anything new here! All the writings and translations are correct and the same as always. I don't know what the me from the future was talking about! Use my Timelord half, she said. How the **** am I supposed to know what that means?

She was so frustrated. She KNEW she was missing something but she had absolutely no idea what it was or how to find it.

River shut her eyes tightly and put her head in her hands.

Timelord half...she thought again, So, what would a Timelord do? A Timelord would...get the original prophesy. Done. This is it. So if that's not the problem, then a Timelord would...She dug deep, eyes still shut. A Timelord would look for something to suggest a secret IN the original text.

Her eyes shot open.

Of course!

She could see it now. There were small symbols lining the borders of the prophesy itself and a small cluster of them drawn on each corner of the scroll.

How could she have missed it! She had thought they were just little decorations or something. The more she looked, the more she realized.

These symbols are Galifrayan. There's more written on this scroll in Galifrayan.

River could have shouted for joy. The Doctor had taught her his language when she was younger.

She set to work, translating the symbols carefully into her diary, her eyes getting wider and wider the further she went.

When at last her work was complete, River set down her pen and stared at the new translations, open mouthed.

Oh my gosh. It can't be. How is that possible?

Sorry for the sudden end...I just had to. But not to worry, my lovelies! As soon as I've slept a bit, there will be plenty more! Just a few hours. No big thing :P
