So here's Chapter 25. Let me get to some replies:

Jam-Man265: Sorry, but that's the way life rolls

ReaperXStalker: Thanks for that, and I think later on, you might find something surprising

ahsoei: Thanks, and Kurai still keeps his human form. Both of his arms gain the same gauntlets, and his eyes turn red.

Sennybee98: Really? You can't believe it?

FrancisVamp0822: Not a lot of people did

With that, here's the Cold Truth

"Go my black serpents!" Kurai held his hand out, signaling the fifteen meter long, pitch black snakes to attack. "And devour her!"

Raynare unfurled her wings and took flight. She manevered, dodged, and avoided every one of the eight creations that tried to take a bite out of her. Everything they came in contact with instantaneoulsy disintegrated into and disappeared.

"What are those things?" She knew that if she had been a moment careless, there would be nothing left of her. "You bastard." Raynare appeared above him, summoning two spears of light before divebombing him, ready to impale him straight through the head. What caught her off guard was the way he casually caught her spear. The black gunk coming from his hands ate away at it until there was nothing. "That wasn't nice."

Kurai reeled his fist back and clocked her hard in the gut, sending her flying to the celiling, and watched her fall to the ground in a heap.

"You know, for an angel, you sure know how to fall," He taunted clutching his face in a fit of laughter.

"Light Gear!" Before he knew what had hit him, Kurai felt an intense pain coming from where he was slashed. Raynare, covered in a bright aura, moved incredibly fast to where she was but a blur, constantly slashing Kurai with her light swords.

"What the-when did she get this fast?"

Raynare ceased slashing and went on to savagely beating him repeatedly with a barage of punches that caught him off guard. She was so fast, Kurai couldn't counter, so much as block.

"Dragon's...eye-" Before his dragon eye, which would have helped him in this situation was deployed, he felt a searing pain from his right eye. A dagger made of light was lodged deep in his right eye. The feeling, it was too horrible to describe. From his good eye, he could see purple, and the taste of metal spread through his mouth.

"AAAAAAHHHHHH!"

Raynare blushed flying back. "Kurai-chan, you're in so much pain. I love it! That twisted face of agony I wanted to see for so long!"

Kurai gripped the spear and felt his hand smoke. He yanked it out in an instant, trying to hold back the urge to scream in pain, and panted dropping it. His body twitched and his muscles moved on his own. He clutched his bleeding eye, hoping for the regeneration to kick in. "Hey, I just realized something."

"What? That you're going to die soo-" Raynare's eyes widened as she looked down as Kurai's claws plunged into her stomach and out of her back.

"You're not Raynare, are you?" Kurai pulled his hand from her stomach and saw her crumble to her knees. Blood oozing from her mouth and stomach, he looked out his drenched, red hand and licked a small bit of blood from it after sniffing it. "No, Raynare wasn't this strong. So you mind explaining the point of this facade?"

"How did you-"

"You claimed to have escaped knowing I had a Longinus. Raynare never knew about my Longinus until moments before she was killed. And also, Raynare didn't have a Sacred Gear."

The raven haired girl stifled and lowered her head.

"Shift!"

Before she knew it, several black snakes erupted from his hands and bound herself around her, restricting her and limiting her movements. "These snakes-"

"These are not deadly, the only thing they can do is squeeze you to death." She turned to the side, and realized Kurai had Ascalon close to her neck. "Do you care to explain at all, just who exactly are you? Or should I just cut to the killing you part?"

"My name is Saya Kimi. Yes, I'm not the Raynare you knew. That girl, the one who died by your hands...is my older sister, Raynare-oneesama!" She looked up at him revealing that she was shedding tears.

That comment surprised Kurai to the core as he thought back to what Raynare said.

I had to fulfill my role as a Fallen Angel, my role as a sister

"She was telling the truth?" Kurai whispered to himself. She had thrown at him so many lies, he assumed that was nothing more than a last ditch scapegoat.

"We're half-sisters. She was pureblood, while I was a half. We had the same father, who was a fallen, while our mother's were human."

[A person with human blood, even if they were born of another species can inherit a Sacred Gear]

"My mother passed away not long after I was born. My father took me in. My beloved sister, she was all I had. After our parent's were killed by Michael's Angels, we had to survive on our own. My sister, hated...she hated the human blood that I carried. This disgusting, filthy human blood."

I don't need a weak half-blood for a sister

"Five years ago, we got seperated. All I thought about was becoming strong so I could become help to her. But I could never find her."

"Is that why you became a pop star? So you could get her attention?" Kurai asked her.

"Three years ago, I discovered my Sacred Gear, and with it, rised to fame in less than a year. Like that, Love-Love Kimi was born. My bandmates were nothing more than mere illusions that depleted a majority of my magic. What kept me going was finally finding my sister."

"How did you find out, what happened?"

"One of Raynare-oneesama's followers. He realized my relationship with her, and told me how you murdered her. It wasn't too long ago, you took his life."

Kurai thought back, to the one person he killed. "He was with you? Death Gun?"

"That bastard couldn't shoot worth a damn," Kimi slightly chuckled. "Do you understand how it feels to lose someone you love? How much despair, grief, and suffering I felt? It was like being dragged and sinking into an abyss." She looked at him with rage induced tear that didn't waver him the slightest. "Why did you have to kill my sister! Why didn't you just let her go! I lost everything because of you! I won't forgive you! I won't forgive you until I take your fucking head!"

"Your sister got off easy! So shut the fuck up already!" Kurai yelled back at her with rage. His teeth grinded and he felt several of his veins pop. He realized she really was Raynare's sister. Both were capable of causing him to snap as easy as a pencil. "She didn't care who she had to trample on. She was taken by her own greed, and the innocent had to suffer, all because she didn't care about anyone but herself. She had what was coming for a long time. She killed and endangered my friends, if I had my way, if I had this power, I would've sliced her to bits. I would've made her suffer for all the people she abused."

Kimi struggled against the snakes, the urge to kill dominated her. "Shut the fuck up! Stop spouting lies!"

"Even in death, I still suffer! Because I can't get her out of my fucking head! She haunts my dreams. The very thought of her makes me sick!" Kurai gritted his teeth. "My friend, Asia, the one she killed for her Sacred Gear, didn't care. She's a saint, she wouldn't hurt a fly. Nobody is as kind as her. Your sister trampled her like a bug and tossed her aside like garbage. She didn't hesitate once when she tried to kill me. An eye for an eye. I didn't hesitate when I chose to kill her."

"My sister wouldn't do anyth-" She stopped midsentence, and stifled in horror at the feathers that fluttered under her face as Kurai dropped a few. "No way." She realized these were what was left of her sister, and fought the urge to both cry and vomit. "She didn't have to die."

"That's what I said, and she just laughed. You've been blinded by your devotion and love that you can't see clearly." Kurai held his hand out and slightly touched her forehead. "Now I'm going to show you-"

"Don't touch me you filthy Devil!"

"The cold, hard truth."

Both Kurai and Kimi disappeared from the concert hall and reappeared in a completely different area. The room was dimly lit, with broken statues and destroyed alter seats from an earlier altercation.

"Where the hell are we?" Kimi asked.

"Take a look," Kurai pointed in front of her, and she saw two people fighting. A boy with red eyes, and hair that was as black as the girl he was facing's wings. She sent light spears at him while he shot at her with red blasts of power.

"Raynare-oneesama?" Kimi mumbled with eyes widen, while Kurai looked in the other direction, gazing at Asia's lifeless body. The sight made his throat clench, and his tongue go numb.

"What is this?"

"My memories. This was a couple months ago," Kurai explained. "I sent you into my memories. This is where Raynare died."

"You're so weak, Kurai-chan!" The Raynare said sending several light spears at him. Kurai dodged most of them, but a stray struck him in the leg. Kurai yelled out, rolling on his back and clutching his legs. "Why the hell? How can you treat people like absolute trash?"

Raynare smirked holding her spear standing over him. "Please, I abandoned my own little sister, this is nothing."

Hearing that, Kimi's eyes displayed a look of horror, her mouth agape, her lips trembling.

Kurai stood on one knee. "What did you just say? You left your own sister?"

"It's kind of embarassing to say now, but yeah. It's that old sob story. My parents left and died or something. Leaving me, and what proved to be a complete drag." Raynare scoffed. "She was a weak, pathetic excuse for a sister. I'm pretty sure she's dead by now. I say good riddance. That's one less pain in my neck."

"That was your sister, your own flesh and blood. How does that not bother you in the slightest?! Taking lives like their nothing!? Are you that heartless?"

"She's as good as dead. Hell, I don't even remember her name! A goddamn devil lecturing me about morales. That's a riot!"

"You'll pay for all the people you've abused!" Kurai reeled his fist back covering it with darkness. "This is the end Raynare, I'll kill you."

"Go meet with Asia! Then both of you tell my sister I said hi in the afterlife!"

The image shifted.

"Kurai-chan, you wouldn't kill me would you!?" Raynare was at his mercy, slowly backing away as he dredged at her with absolute killing intent. His hands covered in Grimoire's Legacy.

"Kurai-chan...please, I had to fulfill my role as a Fallen and as a sister."

"You talk too much," Kurai held his hand out releasing a blast of power that completely obliterating her from sight, leaving only a rain of feathers. "Disappear."

"That's enough..." Kimi looked down clenching her fists, her eyes welled with fresh tears. "Let's go...I've seen enough."

"Sorry, it must've been painful." Kurai told her with a monotone expression, neither sad, angry, or any form of regret. He had absolutely no emotion in his eyes at the moment.

"She never cared about me? What the hell kind of twisted shit is that!?" Kimi kneeled with her head down, crying her eyes out.

Kurai bit back, swallowing his saliva before swiping the air. "Shift!"

The wound in Kimi's stomach started to heal itself slowly. The action surprised Kimi. "Why?"

"I felt sorry for you, hearing Raynare say that. We were both victims of her cruelty. Although I can't sympathize what you're feeling, I can say at the very least...I'm sorry. I know how it feels to lose someone you love."

Kimi wiped her tears and looked up at him. "Hey, your eye."

"Nothing a good night's sleep wont fix." He turned his back to her and walked off waving. "And do me a favor and do something about everyone's memories. I don't need any more complications. Also..."

He turned to her, giving her a severely dark look that made her spine crinkle and shrink back. "Come near me or my friends, and I'll kill you the same way as I did your sister."

After that long day, Kurai was about twenty minutes from his house. This had proven to be one of the most asinine days in the almost half year he became a demon. He realized trouble was around every corner, and there was no way he could survive it.

To other people passing by, he was by himself. But to him, on his right was Torafusa, while on his left was Deveen.

"Why the hell did we let the bitch live? You saw her, she would have been better off dead."

Torafusa's head butted with Deveen pushing him back a distance while the latter scowled with burning hatred."Quiet Deveen. We already broke her in both mind, body, and spirit.

"Who the fuck said you can give me orders?" His words fell on deaf ears as Kurai and Torafusa continued on without him.

"But Kurai, why did you fake those memories? That wasn't at all what happened."

"If I showed her what really happened, she would've gone after Rias. Not to mention, she would've found fault in the truth. Sometimes, when you lie long enough, it eventually becomes the truth in itself. So let's do our best to wrap this in a bottle and bury it forever. Besides, twisted as it was, her heart was in the right place. But there's something I want to know...what was that stuff? That power?" Kurai looked at his hands with a converned look. "I felt the malevolence of Grimoire's Legacy, but it was different."

"As you know, Grimoire's Legacy reacts strongly to your emotions, but at the risk of your body and soul being destroyed." Torafusa told him. "But as long as I use my darkness to conceal it, it won't damage you as much as it should."

"I see, thank you Torafusa." Kurai looked forward, only to slightly be pushed to the side. His shoulder bumped into someone, the latter kept walking.

"Hey, watch it," Kurai looked towards the one as the latter scowled at him. He realized that it was a female, a beautiful young girl with long pink hair with a curl on each of her shoulders and sharp golden eyes like a viper. She was shorter than Kurai, about a few inches reaching up to his shoulder. She wore a skintight black jacket revealing her cleavage and stomach, a purple cloth like choker, a purple plaid skirt tied by a black belt, and black heeled boots. He noticed a black cross pendant on her neck that seemed like a shiny black stone.

"Sorry, sorry." She said before walking off, leaving Kurai confused and slightly irritated as he carried on,

As the girl kept walking, she brushed aside some of the hair that covered her right ear, revealing an earpiece. "Yes, master?"

[Mimi-kun, have you found him?]

"Negative, I'll report back immediately with an update," She hung up and looked around, sniffing the air trying to lock on to a scent. "Where can I find you, Black Dragon-chan?"

To Kurai's Lover (Still creeped out and flattered at the same time) Thank you for your OC submission.

I realized that the scene I had written in the chapter containing all the spoilers didn't match up. That was a mistake on my part and won't happen again.

With that, I leave you with a Ciao!
