a/n: I started writing this earlier in the week but I got swamped with tests, homework and a field trip June 15th starts finals and MY BODY IS NOT READY. Anyways thanks to xconversegirl99x, smithback, Ninuhuju and DBZFanGoten for reviewing in the last chapter. You may have to wait a bit because I don't wanna jump the gun and show it instantly. Sorry. But something will happen before the red ribbon saga is over and a couple of things have changed. There small but you should notice them if you read carefully. I know I need to sleep more smithback but the problem is I have insomnia because I'm a night person I think….idk. Lastly DBZFanGoten I have stated in previous A/N's that I am doing the story in the manga universe. In the manga verse Blue never gets the chance to used his power on general toa so it is unknown if it would work in the manga because there are quite a bit of differences. The only thing I used from the anime are the names for things (nimbus, power pole etc) and Gohan age (11 anime, 9 manga) Anyways I own nothing.

Chapter 25: Escape from the pirates den

Gohan was barely able to dodge the falling rocks that threatened to land on him. They wouldn't hurt him much but any normal person would be dodging rocks that threatened to clobber your head in.

"We gotta get out of here fast!" Krillin panicked.

"Bulma! Where's the dragon ball?" Goku asked.

Gohan's eyes widened, 'Wait a minute…is he going to…'

"At the bottom of the pool! But there's no time to get it now!" Bulma yelled back.

"You three go on ahead and get out of here! I follow you as soon as I find the dragon ball!"

Gohan wanted to scream at Goku how crazy his plan was but he was too late however because Goku has already dived into the pool.

"G-Goku you idiot!" Krillin screamed.

"We've got no choice! We'll wait for him at the harbor!" Bulma said as she and Krillin started running.

Gohan however didn't follow.

'If father dies it's all over. Even the slightest thing I've done could have changed the timeline drastically to an alternate reality were daddy does die in this cave collapse.'

Gohan looked back to where Bulma and Krillins retreating forms used to be.

"There were running to fast to realize I was never following. And by the time they do realize…"

Gohan never finished that sentence as he abruptly jumped into the pool swimming after his father.

It didn't take longer for Gohan to catch up. When Gohan did however he made sure he was far away enough so Goku didn't notice him but close enough so if something bad happened he could save him.

Goku suddenly stopped swimming. Gohan watched from afar with curious eyes as the older boy moved a couple of rocks away. Then watched as his eyes lit up as he picked up his treasure. He had found the dragon ball. Goku then abruptly turned around. Gohan didn't have anywhere to hide. Goku started at him for a couple of minutes before motioning him to swim upward. Gohan did so as Goku followed.

After the duo breached the surface Goku looked around frantically for something.

"It's collapsing! Where! Where!"

Suddenly a rat ran in front of Goku.

"There!"

"You saved my life! Now I'll save yours!" Goku said the rat while holding it by the tail.

"Hold him Roy! C'mon let's go!" Goku called as they ran trying to find the harbor.

After a couple seconds of running it became evident to Gohan that they weren't going to make it. They were so close too! The two could see Bulma and Krillin waiting frantically telling him to hurry up.

'Looks like I have no choice!'

As a last resort Gohan grabbed Goku and as quick as lightning ran into the submarine.

"Drive! Drive!" Gohan yelled frantically at Bulma as she drove out of the cave.

Gohan let out of sigh of relief and closed his eyes. He quickly opened the however when he felt something furry nuzzling his hand. He looked down and saw he had been hold the rat Goku decided to save a little too tightly.

"Sorry," Gohan said releasing he rat a little. Just enough so it could breathe and be comfortable but firm enough so it wouldn't escape his grip and run around the ship.

"Don't worry were safe now," Goku said to the rat.

"We are not safe! We haven't reached the open sea yet!" Bulma yelled.

Gohan's eyes widened. He was so stupid! How could he have forgotten the cave had an extremely long entrance!

The submarine jerked violently as Bulma maneuvered in an attempt to it didn't get crushed by falling rocks.

"Now the whole cave is collapsing!" Krillin alerted.

"There's a big side passage! We can probably get to the sea from there!" Bulma screamed over Krillins shouting.

"Hurry it's starting to collapse!"

"I know that!"

They were almost there! Gohan could see the ocean. Then things took a turn for the worst…

The submarine stopped working and made a weird sound.

"W-what going on?! Why did you stop us?!"Krillin asked panicked.

"We're out of fuel…"Bulma responded slowly.

"What do you mean…?" Gohan asked uncertain he heard right.

"WERE OUT OF FUEL! IM TOO PRETTY TO DIE!" Bulma screamed at the demi-saiyin.

"IT'S NOT FAIR! I'M NOT READY TO DIE!" Krillin screamed.

Gohan thought for a second.

'I have to find a way out of this. Come on Gohan think! I got it!'

"Um guys why don't we just have Goku use the force of a Kamehameha to propel us out of the water?" Gohan suggested.

Krillin and Bulma looked at Gohan like he had 5 heads.

"Are you crazy? That is-"

"Hold your breath guys," Goku cut off as he finished charging a Kamehameha and using it the way Gohan had suggested.

In the blink of the eye they went from underwater in a cave to flying through the air.

"Nimbus!" Goku called

Goku landed on the cloud and grabbed Krillins foot and Krillin in return grabbed Bulma's hand.

"W-we made it!" Krillin yelled.

"Hooray!" Bulma cheered in response.

"Uh guys…where's Roy?" Goku asked.

They looked around suddenly they heard a gurgling noise and saw "Roy" breach the water.

"Ehehe….you guys forgot to catch me,"

A/n: Okay guys bad news. Finals starts the 15th of June I believe and end the 23rd. So between those two periods of time I'll be too busy cramming to update. On the upside after school ends Jubilant June starts where I update 2 stories at once with no negative update schedule impacts. Please review and bye!
