Author's note: Chapter 25 has arrived. I am so sad every chapter I write means that I will have one less chapter to write. So how did you guys enjoy Crystal and Owain S rank?
Yeah, I haven't updated because of exams. –shudders- I lived through it…..mostly.
The Shepherds are nearing the Plegian castle where they are meeting with Validar to obtain the final gemstone.
"Has this long and treacherous march exhausted you, Crystal?" Owain said concerned.
"No, it just made me regret wear a long cloak." Crystal fanned herself with her hand.
"Would it please you if I carried you the rest of the way?" Owain knelt down signaling her to come onto his back.
"NO!" Crystal kicked him in the back.
"What have I done to offend you? Pfft." Owain spat sand out of his mouth.
"I don't want everyone to know that we're betrothed yet, remember?" Crystal whispered.
"Oh yes, because you want to tell your parents at the right time. Personally, I do not believe that Robin or Olivia will be angry about it." Owain dusted himself off.
"You don't know my mother well enough. She can get really scary sometimes." Crystal shuddered.
"Olivia?" Owain pictured Olivia hiding behind Robin when Chrom walked by.
"Yeah, one time when we were kids, Morgan played with her ribbon and ended up ripping it. She had this look in her eyes that I will never forget. Mother doesn't even remember that happening." Crystal remembered Olivia holding her iron sword and Olivia had a murderous look in her eyes even worse than a risen's.
"I cannot even imagine your mother causing that level of intimidation." Owain was very skeptical of Crystal's story.
"Even Father didn't know what to do with her. We vowed never to bring out Ol-evil-ia again." Crystal was shaking nervously.
"Ol-evil-ia?" Owain said confused.
"Evil Olivia, Morgan made up the name." Crystal explained.
Owain looked at Olivia closely. Olivia was having a friendly chat with Maribelle.
"I still cannot imagine that."
"Trust me. You don't want to ever see Ol-evil-ia. That's why I want to tell her slowly." Crystal swallowed hard.
"What about Morgan? She is the one who spreads most of the news around the camp." Owain asked concerned.
"I promised to help her play a prank on Father. It wasn't that hard to convince her." Crystal smirked cockily.
"I see. Ah, it looks like will be arriving at the castle in a few moments." Owain pointed towards the castle entrance.
Robin turned to face the Shepherds and said "Shepherds, don't worry. The Plegians are our allies now." During his speech, he made a gesture with his hands signaling them to ready their weapons.
"Are there any questions?" Robin ended his speech.
"The teach has a question. Why were you moving your hands so much during that speech?" Vaike said confused.
Robin sighed and rubbed his eyes. "What are we going to do with you, Vaike?" Robin sighed loudly.
"Maybe give me an award?" Vaike smiled.
"Is there an award for forgetting your weapon to the battlefield at least 29 different times?" Robin shook his head.
"I'm not the most forgetful person in the world." Vaike tried to defend himself.
"Name one person more forgetful than you." Robin stuck his index finger up.
"Uhhhhh."
"Naturally, the most forgetful person would not remember someone more forgetful than themselves." Miriel adjusted her glasses.
"Exactly what i was thinking." Robin nodded in approval.
"Hey, whose side are you on?" Vaike said angrily.
"Logic's." Miriel had an intimidating look in her eyes.
"Fine, it don't matter. Well, I can name someone more forgetful than me." Vaike crossed his arms.
"Really?" Miriel said intrigued.
"Yeah, that person's name is….ROBIN! He's got that am-nausea thingy." Vaike said proud of himself.
"His memory loss is caused by medical problems which is logical. However it is not logical for you to have constant memory loss and have no medical issues or any signs of memory issues. It is most inriguging yet baffling. So please refrain from comparing your memory loss to Robin's, am I clear?" Miriel had a look in her eyes that Vaike knew meant that he needed to be quiet.
"Um, well let's go into that castle and have a super peaceful talk with the top dog, eh." Vaike said awkwardly loud.
The Shepherds entered the castle and tried to acquire the final gemstone but were forced to run for their lives. Just when the Shepherds thought that they had escaped, Validr teleported right in front of the exit and attacked Chrom. Chrom tried to keep the Fire Emblem out of Validar's reach but unfortunately Validar had a trick up his sleeve: he could somehow control Robin to move like a puppet being controlled by a puppeteer. Robin was controlled into handing the Fire Emblem to Validar. Robin was devestated and needed to be away from everybody for a while so he took a walk and was confronted by Lucina. And here we are now, Lucina pointing a sword at Robin.
"You are my father's murderer! I am sure of it. I didn't want to believe it nor could I believe it but your father's control over you has made it clear that you are my father's murderer. That's why in order to prevent that horribel future from happening once more, I...have to kill you." Lucina's hands were shaking.
"Do it. It'd probably be better this way. For the future and for the whole world." Robin held his arms out in a sign of surrender.
Lucina charged at Robin with her sword. Robin closed his eyes and heard a clang? 'wait I should be feeling pain right now, not hearing a clang.' Robin thought as he hesitantly opened his eyes.
"Olivia!?" Robin yelled surprised as he saw that Olivia had blocked Lucina's attack.
Robin and Lucina were both dumbfounded that Olivia had come out of nowhere and blocked the attack. Olivia Cleared her throat.
"Lucina, what you said does make sense. Killing Robin is the most logical course of action to prevent tat horribel future from becoming real, but …...but...but." Tears filled Olivia's eyes. "Robin has defied logic many times. Defeating undefeatable armies, winning unwinnable battles, making sure that everybody comes home safe and sound. And he means everything to me. He gave me confidence and a reason why I should always come back alive from the battlefield. Not just me, Frederick, Vaike, Lon'qu, name anybody in the Shepherds, he's a friend to every one of them. Don't kill Robin, we'll change the future and we'll make sure that the nightmare that you lived won't come true again." Olivia had tears streaming down her face.
"You're right. If I killed Robin, Father would hate me and I've always strived to be a person that he would be proud of." Lucina sheathed her swrd.
-a light clap was coming from a nearby bush- From behind the bush appeared, Chrom, Sumia, Crystal, Inigo, and Morgan.
"wait, you were all watching that?" Olivia's face turned completely red.
"Yep, you were totally awesome mother. You were all like 'I'm not going to let you kill Robin'. It was so cool." Morgan said excitedly.
Olivia went behind Robin and tried to hide herself.
"Annnnd she's back to normal." Robin chuckled
"Remember that forever Morgan, I seriously doubt that we're ever going to see something like that again." Crystal was holding back a laugh.
"Roger." Morgan did a salute.
"Please...forget it." Olivia said still hiding behind Robin.
"Now that you say that mother, we have to remember it." Inigo smiled his signature grin.
"Crys would never forgive me if I killed you anyways and she can hold a grudge." Lucina smiled as she walked away.
"All's well that ends well, right. To be honest, I was going to jump and save you there, but Sumia stopped me and let Olivia save the damsel in distress."Chrom chuckled.
"Who are you calling a damsel!?" Robin yelled angrily.
"Calm down. Though if you look form a certain angle, you could look like a girl." Chrom went behind Robin and nodded his head.
"Why are you imagining me as a girl?" Robin shuddered nervously.
"If you grew your hair out and tied your hair up into pigtails, you probably could look like a girl." Chrom muttered, ignoring Robin.
"Chrom, please stop." Robin said getting irritated.
"And if you were shorter. Robin try going on your knees. I want to see what ou look like shorter." chrom kept circling Robin but every time Chrom was behind Robin , he was laughing silently and then when he re-entered Robin's vision, he put on a serious look.
"Stop it before, I come up with a very dangerous task for yout to do in battle." Robin's eye was twitching out of annoyment.
"Your eyes need some work, too." Chrom ignored Robin again.
"Chrom. I think you should do some fighting on the front lines during the next battle. ALL ALONE. It seems like a good tactic." Robin had an evil smile.
"When Father makes that face, it isn't hard to imagine him being uncle Chrom's murderer. I wonder how chrom dies. I should ask Lucina because it might be by Robin's hand if this keeps up." Morgan looked around for Lucina.
"We can talk about this, right?" Chrom swallowed hard.
"You'll be fine, Chrom. You can use Aether, right? How about we have you try fighting without a sword? That would be fun, right?" Robin had this darka ura arround him.
"I think Lucina was right. Robin might kill Chrom. I am going to go after Lucina to tell her that she needs to change her mind." Inigo tried to start running.
"No, you don't mister." Crystal grabbed onto the back of Inigo's collar.
"Why are you stopping me? This is for the good of the future." Inigo tried to resist cystal's pull as much as he could.
"No, you just want to be with Lucina alone. I know what you're thinking." Crystal tightened her grip on Inigo's collar.
"That's not true." Inigo looked away.
"Should I tell Noire?" Crystal had an evil aura coming off of her.
"If there were any doubts about Crystal being Robin's daughter, they're all gone now." Morgan looked at Crystal and Robin both with their evil auras.
"Yep." Inigo nodded nervously.
-Timeskip two days later- The Shepherds have fled from the Plegian territory and are making there way back too Yllistol. The Shepherds are all currently exhausted especially Morgan.
"Ugh, we've been walking for two days straight. I'm so tired. I'm too tired to even bang this book against my head to try and get my memories back." Morgan said lying down on the bed.
"You know that we need to keep moving. For all we know, Aversa could've sent risen after us and risen never stop and never get tired." Inigo explained.
"Risen are also super-slow." Morgan puffed up her cheek.
"Well, how about a game or something like that?" inigo suggested.
"THAT SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD IDEA!" Morgan was suddenly revitalized as she sat up on the bed..
"Amazing what people can do when they're motivated." Inigo said surprised.
"Let's get Crystal and everyone else too." Morgan ran out the tent.
"I guess she wasn't too tired to bang her head on a book after all. Wait, morgan you didn't even decide on a game." Inigo stood up and began to chase after Morgan.
-Few minutes later-
"Why are only the people who came from the future here? I thought you were going to tell everyone, Morgan." Inigo said confused
"Well, you remember that game Mother taught me to help improve acting skills?"
"Yes, the game where you imitate someone that everybody knows and try and get them to guess who it is, right?" Inigo raised an eyebrow.
"Yep!" Morgan replied haapily.
"So what does that have to do with not inviting the rest of the Shepherds?" Inigo said confused.
"Well, I figured that some people might get mad about the imitations that we do of them so I only invited the people who came from the future."
"You have a point. Last time Father got mad at your impersonation of him." Inigo nodded his head remembering Robin getting extremely mad.
"Yep. So, everybody I guess we're going to start without Crystal seeing as she isn't here yet. The game is that we imitate somebody in the Shepherds but nobody in this room and try and get people to guess who we are imitating within five minutes timed using this timer. We can use words or actions. It is picked by flipping a coin. Heads is words and tails is actions. No imitating someone that was already imitated so no using Vaike more than once." Morgan explained. A lot of groans were heard saying that Vaike could only be used by once.
"I shall start us off in this game that only a select few can compete in. A game of honour and." Owain started getting into a speech but has hit in the head with a coin that Severa threw at Owain.
"Just flip the coin and hurry up." Severa said obviously annoyed.
"That was a good throw, my comrade. I will flip this coin to decide my fate." Owain threw the coin high in the air.
The coin landed on heads.
"Owain will do actions." Morgan said as she picked up the coin.
"Hmmm, I have an idea." Owain got into a ready stance.
"Ready, go!" Morgan flipped over the timer and the sand started falling.
Owain knelt down and was imitating picking up stuff.
"Maybe he's trying to imiate Miriel picking up objects for research." Nah tried to guess.
"Or maybe he's imiating mother lookin for herbs or maybe he's not. I'm not sure at all." Yarne suggested
Owain shook his head in disagreement.
"Nowi picking flowers to make a crown." Cynthia also tired to guess.
Owain slapped his head in frustration. Owain pretended to hold an object in his hand and started moving his hand around that was holind the pretend object.
"Robin devising battle plans?" Laurent tried to guess.
"Father practicing swordsmanship?" Lucina also tried to guess.
"Vaike! You were trying to look for something on the ground earlier and now you're tryoing to look for your axe!" Morgan tried to guess.
"Sadly time's up. Who were you trying to imitate?" Morgan said confused.
"It was frederick!" Owain yelled frustrated.
Everybody was still confused.
"I was picking up rocks and then I was dusting." Owain yelled angrily.
"OHHHHHH." Everybody said all at once.
"Who's next?" Morgan held up the coin.
"I-I wouldn't mind trying." Noire said nervously.
"Here's the coin."
"Please be actions." Noire threw the coin in the air.
The coin landed tails.
"Words, umm, I'm not sure I can do this." Noire swallowed hard.
"I know you can do this." Inigo pushed Noire lightly on her back.
"Well, i-if you think I can I think I can do this." Noire said filled with more confidence.
"Ready start!" Morgan flipped over the timer.
"Oh this is making me really nervous." Noire's hands were shaking a bit.
"OLIVIA!" a lot of people said confidently.
"No not Olivia. I haven't even started yet. I meant to say Hello milady." noire still was nervous.
"Well, it's not Lon'qu for sure." Gerome said.
"Maybe Libra." Kjelle suggested.
"IT'S NOT LIBRA YOU FOOLS!" Noire had switched into her other personality.
"O-okay. So it's somebody polite maybe Stahl." Inigo suggested.
"NO IT IS NOT STAHL." Noire pushed Inigo to the ground.
"What happened to 'if you get words, you can't use actions' rule?" Inigo said being forced to the ground.
"Um, technically she is not trying to hint at the person she is describing so I guess it is okay. I don't want to try and stop her right now." Morgan chuckled nervously and she hid the timer with all its sand on the bottom already behind her because Morgan didn't want to tell Noire her time was up.
"FOOL, HOW CAN YOU NOT GUESS THIS OBVIOUS ANSWER?" Noire was holding Inigo's collar ithgtly.
"I want to try and guess Virion, but I don't want to risk endin' up how Inigo is. All choked up." Brady swallowed hard.
"Y-yeah, I know what you mean." Yarne also swallowed hard.
"Is it Virion?" Inigo said in a raspy voice an account of him being choked.
"Yes, it is. You finally got it.' Noire went back to normal and let go of Inigo.
The game went on for awhile and Crystal finally arrived.
"So what are we playing?" Crystal said as she looked at Inigo lying down on the ground.
"We're playing that game mother taught us to improve our acting. We figured out that Inigo was trying to imitate Sumia." Morgan explained.
"Oh that's why he is on the ground."
"You should take a turn. Everyone's gone at least twice except for Noire, she only went once(because we didn't want to deal with angry Noire again)." Morgan handed the coin to Crystal.
Random author's note: The brackets mean whispering to themselves.
Crystal flipped the coin and got heads.
"Hmm, actions. I got this one." Crystal smirked.
"Ready, go!" Morgan flipped the timer.
Crysta picked up a book and banged it against her head.
"Morgan." Everybody said at once.
"HEY! That's no fair." Morgan pouted.
"Can you beat that?" Crystal smirked as she sat down.
"Challenge accepted." Morgan stood up. 'I need words, but there's no guarantee that i'll get tails. Wait, I got an idea.' Morgan thought to herself.
Morgan threw the coin in the air a certain way so that the coin would spin. The coin was spinning rapidly and as it slowed down, Morgan held a wind ome beihing her back and used a small gust of wind to make sure that the coin landed on tails.
"YES! I have the perfect thing to do." Morgan said excitedly.
"Ready, go!" Inigo flipped the timer.
"I-i'm not doing this because I want to or anything." Morgan pretended to look embarassed
"CRYSTAL!" Everybody said simultaneously.
"HEY! What's up with that?" Crystal said angrily.
"Just a little revenge." Morgan snickered.
"That's what I sound like? …..Well, then everybody come here." Crystal unsheathed her swords. "It's not like I'm going to hurt you or anything."
"Game over, run!" Morgan ran outside panicked. And the rest of the future children scrambled off in different directions.
Author's note: So, it's been a while. Yeah, I wrote this chapter quite a bit of time ago to be totally honest, but the thing is my computer got a virus. nasty stuff. So my computer was lagging so badly. It took half an hour to load up google. AGHHHHH, anyways so it took a while to find a good computer to post this chapter on. I was on vacatipon for like two weeks in a no wi-fi zone. it was torture.
Yeah, so anybody reading this watch anime? I did a little Tsundere thing in this chapter when Morgan did an imitation of crystal. Personally, i wnated Morgan's imitation of Crystal be "I-it's not like I'm a tsundere or anything". i thought up this line a while ago. i'm not sure if it was used anywhere else before but only people who watch anime would get that so sorry non-anime watchers for the last part.
Also, if you're looking for anime to watch out there. I personally recommend these four:
Seirei tsukai no blade dance
Juou mujin no Fanir
Joukamachi no dandelion (Still airing right now)
Invaders of the rokujouma.
Seirei tsukai no blade dance is a good anime if you're looking for harem
Juou mujin no fafnir is a good show if you like sci-fi and a thickening plot
Joukamachi no dandelion is a good slice of life/ comedy anime. The first episode reminds me of nisekoi. you'll get what i mean when you watch it.
Invaders of the rokujouma is good comedy. i love it
Well for now, Ja ne! (japanese word for later)
I am using this author's note to declare to all of you that i love anime. Also, it's not a cartoon, okay. I want to make more otaku(people who watch anime) friedns so i am going to see if any of my readers are. Also, i am not scary. i am a normal person who loves FEA and anime. So feel free to talk to review or PM me.
