Author Note: I can't believe that we are on chapter 24 of this storyline. We are almost done with this storyline and I hope that you enjoy it. The sequel storyline will feature their first year of their marriage and their journey to parenthood.

Chapter 24: Before the wedding

Steve and Violet could not believe that they have four days until they are husband and wife. Steve knew that he had a meeting with the grovner. He wanted to try to see if they could get the week off which he knew that the governor would not have a probelm with it. He felt as Violet started to waking up before Steve finally got out of bed.

"babe, I have to go. I have a meeting with the governor." Steve said to her as he gave her a small kiss.

"Alright. Have fun with your meeting with the governor." Violet responded to him as she gave him another kiss. "I love you."

"I love you too." Steve responded to her. "I will see you at work."

"Alright babe. See you then." Violet responded to him as she gave him a kiss.

Steve got out of bed and headed to the meeting. After the meeting, Steve was really happy that he was getting two weeks off after his wedding and they had all this week off. He drove all the way to headquarters to tell the whole team that they had a break unless they had a big case that needed them. He got to work to find that Violet and Kono were gone somewhere. He had managed to find Danny.

"Hey how was your meeting with the governor?" Danny asked his friend.

"It was good. I actually managed to get that two weeks that I was hoping for after the wedding since she already got it." Steve responded to him without telling that they were able to go home.

"So did you managed to get this week off for us?" Danny asked him.

"Yes I did. This whole week we have off for the wedding and then you guys come back the day after the wedding." Steve said to him as he revealed the schedule.

Chin came into the room to find his friends standing and talking. He knew that they did not have a case and he was happy about it. He just wanted a few days to relaxed with his girlfriend. He knew that Steve was excited about the wedding.

"Hey did we get the week off?" Chin asked his friend.

"Yes we did." Danny said to his friend as Steve gave him a smile. Steve decided to pull out his phone to text Violet and Kono and tell them to meet back at the house. Steve had invited the boys to the house.

Steve and the boys got to the house and sat down to wait for the girls to get there. They arrived about twenty minutes later. Steve wrapped his arms around her and gave her a small kiss. He was happy to see her home.

"Hey Kono. How was your day with her?" Steve responded to her.

"It was fun." Kono responded to her friend.

"Hey don't you have to go get Mary from the airport?" She asked her boyfriend.

"Oh yes. I need to go." Steve responded to her as he gave her a small kiss before leaving to go get his sister. He arrived to the airport right as she was coming out.

"Well big brother. I did not know that you were going to be late." She said to her brother.

"I know. I am sorry. The team is back at the house waiting for us." Steve responded to her with a smile.

She got into the car and they headed to the house. The whole team spent a few hours at the house before they headed home.

Later that night

Steve was enjoying some quiet time on the beach while she was swimming in the water. Steve could not believe that in a few days, he would be a married man. He wasn't paying attention to her when she came out of the water.

"Babe, what are you thinking about?" She asked him.

"Just thinking in a few days, you and I will be husband and wife. I can't wait for that." He responded to her as he gave her a small kiss as she sat down.

"I love you." She said to him.

"I love you too." He responded to her.
