The Price of Sins

Long chapter so no dialogue! I'm making this short and I might illuminate the dialogue for future chapters so if you want me to keep doing it (which I am perfectly happy to do) then let me know in a review.

Btw, it seems like pretty much all my reviewers were slower to review this time but I guess that's because most of us are at school now.

Thank-you to these people:

Micheal Storm: YAY! You followed my story and I AND favourite my story and I! I really would love it if you could review so that I can read your feedback and you don't have to go on about random crap like me and my other reviewers do.

Da Amazing Po-Po-Pony: *extreme sarcasm* Oh great it's Zant *sweat drop and fingers twitching over keyboard* Must… not… type… dialogue! Don't worry; I forgive you for not being as fast to review. *GASP* Ganondorf is a GIRL?! (Is that what you meant? You had some typos that greatly confused me) Awwww! I'm really glad that you liked my 'plagerism'. I really don't get why my sister didn't though *sniff* she keeps on avoiding listening to me read her the rest of chapter 28 too… *sadness*

AreiaCananaid: NOOOOOOOO! DON'T KILL AVEIL! You'll like her again (I think…) after next chapter! And even if you do try to kill her, Impa will jump in and rescue her because she's still in her debt even if she has turned traitor and is trying to make Zelda a slave of the Gerudo and flogged poor Link and blah blah blah… the list goes on. YAY! You liked Fi's emotion growth. It will be one of the themes of this chapter as well as a bunch of other things. Yeah, I know what you mean about solving the mysteries and I wonder if you've solved any mysteries in this fanfic yet. Feel free to send me a PM telling me cos I would love to know but I won't confirm or deny anything so as not to spoil the story for you.

Tr1pp89: Don't worry about not reviewing for a while; you seem to be far busier than most of my other readers so I understand that you may not always have the time to read or review but when you do it makes me really happy. Yep, Aveil has a pretty big problem! I look forward to your next review :D

tetraforce theory: I'll get round to reading that fanfic soon but for now I'm going to concentrate on chapter 29 of TPoS. As for PewDiePie, there is actually a video on Youtube by MathewPatrick13 who does this thing called Game Theory where he analyses stuff related to video games in a scientific, mathematical or historical way but it's actually really awesome, funny and he's really clever. Anyway, he did a video explaining why PewDiePie is so successful and it's pretty cool… but I do have a confession… I had never heard of him until I watched that video… I'M NOT A YOUTUBER OKAY! *mumbles* I just watch videos… Anyways, I'm perfectly fine with you calling me Scarlet. Everyone seems to use abbreviations for usernames. I call Da Amazing Po-Po-Pony Po-Po, AreiaCananaid Arena (can't pronounce her name right so I go with that), Storm Skyress Storm (but only when typing on Fanfiction cos I know her in real life so obviously I would call her by her real name) and Icetail of WindClan – Meta If Icetail. Okay, MAYBE I didn't need to give all those examples but I'm like that. I'm glad that you liked the chapter as well, you and my other regular reviewers have been so loyal and supportive; it really means a lot to me.

OMG! That was still really long but I just had to thank everyone here from the very bottom of my heart cos this story is almost over for me. Please read this chapter to your heart's content and I look forward to hearing (or reading) your feedback again :)

Chapter 25 ~ Tying the Strings

Never again would I serve him! Never again would I be locked away like before!

Adrenaline rushed through me as I forced my weak body to its feet and began to run. After about three steps, I stubbled, allowing the spell of imprisonment to catch up with me, but somehow, this sensation was different. I was not being dragged back into my mind like last time; I was melting away! The shock caused me to scream out in horror before I disappeared completely…

~†~ The Price of Sins ~†~

Impa watched as Link gently lay Fi down on one of the beds in Korra's dormitory and as Zelda pulled the covers over her. The spirit's glossy blue skin made her look like a plastic doll and yet, she seemed almost as human as the others in the room as well as much younger, like a ten year old. The Sheikah was rather curious about this spirit and noticed many similarities between them; both servants, magic wielders, burdened with the sacred duty of protecting and aiding their masters as well as being considered as friends by their superiors.

She felt guilty for how she had treated her before. Of course she understood what it is like to have natural human desires one would wish to fulfil, but she still raged at her because she did not consider her as having any real emotion.

Obviously Korra, Link, Zelda and the absent Nabooru highly respected her and Impa could not help but do the same. There was still so much about her she did not know.

"Just wondering; how did you come to meet Fi." she asked Link and Zelda.

"The story's different for us both." explained Zelda, "You met her first Link, why don't you start?"

He nodded, "I guess the story starts with Nabooru though," he said, "Ever since I first met her (A/N: Link is referring to meeting the real her) she was determined to reach the Temple of Time where she said that she would meet a spirit who would reveal her destiny. I got into a little trouble with some Gerudo guards but Nabooru came to the rescue and asked me to come with her, thinking that maybe her visions about the spirit had something to do with it. When we arrived, Fi revealed herself and I felt as if we had met before. She then explained everything about Nabooru possessing the Triforce Key and me being the reincarnation of the Hero of Time and the Goddesses' Chosen Hero. She said that she had been his guide hundreds of years ago before being sealed away until a few months ago."

"Master Link, it pleases me to see you again."

Zelda could almost cry; Fi had just begun to create her own heart when she was forced into a deep slumber. Everyone she knew and cared about, maybe even just a little, was gone forever. Well, not quite…

"I made two wishes, the first being that we would meet again in another life…"

"My master, he was given a harp by Princess Zelda's descendent; Hylia herself. You look as much like her as Master Link does of the Goddess' Chosen Hero and the Hero of Time."

…the Hero of Time… That memory reminded her of her lost hero. Every time she saw the Hero Reincarnated, she felt a sadness which she buried so deep within herself so she could barely feel it, but it still tried to claw its way out of the shadows and dim her light. When that happened, she would always concentrate on the positives. This new Link was like a brother to her; he was kind, caring, was always there for her when she needed a shoulder to cry into and treated her as a close friend rather than a princess. But still, she had suffered a great loss, she watched as her true love was killed before her very eyes.

That just made her even more determined to ensure that no one ever had to suffer what she did. She could not bear to let Fi lose the friends who helped her grow a heart or Nabooru the one who would heal her heart.

"What about you Zelda? When did you first meet Fi?" asked Impa.

The princess smiled, "I just so happened to meet her when Link and Nabooru were telling me about their journey. They mentioned her but forgot to explain who she was. She then appeared and we all bombarded her with questions…"

"Where are your arms?!"

"How come you didn't have any arms until Link and I were being sucked into one of Twinrova's portals?"

"And since when could you teleport?"

"Believe it or not, she was able to answer every single one, if not then have a very good guess. She was really smart, but revealed to us that she had no heart. She told us sad things, she even told us about what happened to the Sheikah's sacred weapon."

Impa felt a jolt of guilt, "Did she tell you… about…"

"Not then, but after we told Link of the Gerudo's history with the Hylians. He was shocked to find that Nabooru was descended from demons but Fi reassured him, saying the Gerudo were not the only race to get close to them." Zelda paused, "Now I know the real reason for the teardrop on the Sheikah symbol."

"I'm really sorry for keeping this from you." said Impa with sincerity, "We still don't know what happened to the sword after the Demon King was defeated."

"We do," said Link, "The Demon King and the Sword Spirit of the Sheikah were both sealed within the Master Sword after the battle. It absorbed the spirit's powers, allowing Fi to use them instead which is why she can teleport, walk around like an actual human and have arms."

"Arms?! She didn't have any arms?!" exclaimed Impa.

Link flushed red with embarrassment, "Um… no. She never really needed any until Nabooru and I were being sucked into a portal."

"I'm confused."

"It'll take way too long to explain everything."

The Sheikah nodded, "I guess that, in a way, the Shadow Sword was returned to us; to the side fighting evil rather than the one contributing to it." She looked at Fi, "She seems to be quite something, what she has done is quite admirable of her; to think a created being would have the power to create. Not only that, but she seems to be very loyal to you and Nabooru."

"She has to; it's her duty from the goddesses."

"So I cannot have my own reasons for being loyal to you?" a voice echoed.

Everyone turned to the bed to see that Fi was awake and sitting up smiling. "I'm glad to have met each and every one of you. You have all been so kind to me and taught me something I will treasure for eternity. Korra, I have learned hope and risks. Zelda, I have learned to believe in one's self as well as sadness, pain and forgiveness. Nabooru has demonstrated anger, caution, self-conflict, guilt and acceptance. Impa, I have learned secrets and a new kind of loyalty; one that involves doing one's duty because of the close bonds you share with those whom you serve."

Zelda and Impa could not help smiling at each other. Fi smiled too and finally turned to Link, "You've taught me so many things, far more than anyone else here. The Goddesses' Chosen Hero helped me to understand joy, peace and admiration. You have shown me fear, determination, affection, confusion, shock, persistence and courage."

The spirit waited until she had everyone's attention again. "Because of you all, I was able to understand emotion and life. I was able to create a heart; a heart wishing to free Hyrule and feel peace once again."

She turned to Zelda, "I'm very sorry I was only able to help your hero with my property to banish evil, but I was still resting deep within the Master Sword, guarding the evil trapped within."

Zelda shook her head, "It's not your fault." she reassured her, "But I have a question; are you the power to banish evil within the Master Sword?"

Fi nodded, "Yes, I am the true source of the Master Sword's power but it can only be used if wielded by one with a courageous heart." Link stared at her wide-eyed and she smiled again, "With my powers of the sky and your spirit combined, we have strength to match that of Ganondorf and, because of the bonds we now share with those we are trying to protect, we have become far stronger, as have my powers. Now I know what it means to share friendship. Now I know the true meaning of purpose. Now I am more than a weapon and a servant, but I remain a spirit; a spirit of the sword you will use to defend the entire kingdom of Hyrule and…" Fi paused; she could not say the rest because that information was of the utmost secrecy, but it seemed only fair that they had a hint of the real jeopardy of the situation.

"And what?" asked Korra.

She sighed while keeping her gaze on Link, "You should know that far more is at stake than any real mortal knows. If you are to lose in this final battle then Hyrule would not just be shrouded in eternal darkness; it will be destroyed completely by something beyond Ganondorf's ambitions but caused by his actions. I'm afraid this is all the information I can give you. I am deeply sorry."

Link thought about this; ever since they saw the wall carvings in the secret tunnel there seemed to be something missing from the puzzle trying to fit in; something Fi must have figured out and something to do with Nabooru.

Sometimes, secrets can only be revealed at the right moment…

~†~ The Price of Sins ~†~

Korra was just picking up one of the spears for hernext guarding shift when… "KORRA!"

She almost jumped, "WHAT?!" she squeaked.

The Gerudo who shouted to her came running over to her. "Do you know where Aveil and Nabooru are? We haven't been able to find them anywhere and think something's happened to them."

"Aveil's missing too?!" Korra exclaimed.

"You mean you know something?"

Korra nodded, "Just wondering; who's the leader for when Aveil isn't around? Link, Fi, Impa and Zelda are trying to look for them but they don't know who it is."

"No one knows when Aveil left and she didn't give anyone her authority before doing so." replied the Gerudo.

"I see." Korra said, "I know I'm in no position to ask you this but, could you spread the word for the whole rebellion to meet outside the fortress? There's something you all must know about Nabooru. I'll find Zelda but if you do see her, tell her to meet me on the second floor outside."

The Gerudo nodded and began running to find as many other Gerudo as she could while Korra began her search for the Princess.

Soon, she had an idea; Fi? Can you hear me? I'm going to go somewhere and I need you to bring Zelda there. Tell Impa and Link to meet with the other Gerudo outside the fortress. Please let me know if you got this message.

Yes Korra, we'll be arriving on foot so as not to use up all my energy teleporting but we'll be there soon.

Thank-you Fi.

It is time to tie together the broken strings of the past…

~†~ The Price of Sins ~†~

"Korra!" Zelda called, "What's going on?"

The teenage Gerudo smiled, "I think it's about time that we tell the rebellion about Rudo's plan."

"What about Aveil?"

"She's missing as well and everyone is worried about Nabooru. We Gerudo are like sisters to one another so they have a right to know and besides, I think they may have accepted you as one of them now."

Zelda gasped because she realised then and there what Nabooru saw in her people; they shared a bond of loyalty and companionship a thousand years old. In the desert where they were forced to live, they helped each other stand which is why they remained strong despite the past efforts of others attempting to eradicate them off the face of the earth. There was an energy of unity flowing through each and every one of them and Zelda could feel it within herself as well.

"I think now I understand Korra," she said, "I know why you care for each other so much, and I know what Nabooru sees in all of you. I'll tell them what happened to her and I'll tell them of the goddesses' plan as well."

Korra smiled, "You certainly are wise Zelda; I know no one more fit to possess the Triforce of Wisdom than you."

"Thank-you Korra." she said before walking up to the edge of the building and looking upon the whole of the rebellion, including Fi who had returned to her master's side.

"People of the valley, children of Rudo; you have been gathered here because there are many things you must know." Her voice rang with the charisma of a true born ruler and the gentleness of a soft breeze. "I am sure that you are most eager to know of the whereabouts' of your sister Gerudo. I am sorry to say this but, Aveil's position is unknown and Nabooru…" she took in a deep breath before continuing, "She has been taken prisoner by Ganondorf."

The gasps and cries of horror travelled quickly around the crowd and transformed into concerned chatter. Zelda waited for it to die down before continuing, "Do not despair, the Hero Reincarnated refuses to let her suffer and he as well as the goddesses' servant and I shall battle against your former king so she may be safe. However, there are many things you do not know about that both your goddess and mine wish to tell you."

The murmuring started again and Zelda held up a hand for silence. "Before Nabooru was captured, she told us of a vision she had; a vision concerning all of you greatly." she said, "The Goddess of Sand has bestowed you with offspring for almost a thousand years but can only do so for a limited amount of time. Unless the curse is broken soon, the entire Gerudo race shall fall."

Once again, everyone cried out in shock but it quickly died away out of eagerness to hear what Zelda had to say next. "Hylia, the Goddess of Time, deeply resents the actions of her people back then and I deeply resent the actions of my ancestors. Because of this, Rudo has said she will descend from the heavens to break the curse after Ganondorf has been vanquished. However, it is unknown as to whether or not she has a proper plan yet. The Spirit of the Sword, Fi, has informed me that the spell can be weakened if the hate the Gerudo have for my people is undone and if I come to feel affection for your race. The second part has happened already but I understand how hard it would be for you to forgive the Hylians given as to what you have been through for whole centuries by their doing. Please know, as the true destined ruler of them, I will attempt to use my powers to break the curse but I ask for your mercy. This is the only way to save your people from an otherwise inevitable doom."

The Gerudo remained silent and Zelda, knowing why, smiled, "Of course; how could I forget about what would happen to you after the curse has been broken? To be honest, I'm quite surprised that you remained in the desert all these years. You could have easily inhabited another part of Hyrule with less harsh conditions and yet you stayed here. Was it out of loyalty to your goddess or something else? Either way, you will always be welcome in Hyrule. Not only that, but I shall form a new council with the six sages of the races of Hyrule. I will be replacing Rauru as the Sage of Light and represent the Hylians. Impa, the Sage of Shadow shall be the ambassador of the Sheikah Tribe and the Gerudo's Sage of Spirit will be Nabooru who will represent all of you, allowing you to have a say in how I run the kingdom. I understand that scars as deep as these do not fade quickly but this is the best I can offer you and I'm ever so sorry that you are faced with a difficult decision right now. I know it seems like there is no way you can truly have what you want. You have to choose between either following me, a descendent of the people who tried to eliminate you, or dying out, so I shall give you a third option; I will give you land and resources which you can use to found a kingdom of your own, given that you do not disturb us in any negative ways but even then you shall always be welcome. I wish to repent for the sins of my ancestors and help to grant Rudo's wish for Hylians and Gerudo to live together so I ask you; is this what you want? Is this what you believe is best for your people?"

Once again, the Gerudo were silent until one of them spoke, "Princess Zelda of Hyrule, your words are kind and true but we fear that not all Hylians are like you. To make our decision, we wish to hear Her Grace, the Goddess of Sand, tell us of her ambitions herself. It is not enough to hear them from you but if what she says matches what you have, then we shall serve you willingly and attempt to mend the severed bonds with the rest of the kingdom. However, and I'm sure my sisters would agree, you have demonstrated that you, as an individual, care for us and have begun to share the spirit that has kept us strong in this harsh desert and it is for this reason, until either Nabooru or Aveil returns, we look up to you as the leader of the Gerudo Tribe. Please lead us in our time of strife and help to vanquish our cruel ex-ruler to bring us peace."

After saying this, she sank down low into a one-kneed bow as the other women followed her. Even Fi, Link and Impa joined in. A breeze blew across the desert and to the fortress where it sent Zelda's shining blond hair and borrowed, pale green Gerudo clothing flying. She stood proud and tall, making herself look more than worthy to be handed such an honour by such a strong race.

The red hair of the women below was flapping as well, giving the impression that a whole field of Rudo's Joy was growing in the desert sand in front of the fortress. Zelda closed her eyes and smiled, feeling the warm air against her cheek before opening them again. "Thank-you so much for this very high honour. I look forward to serving each and every one of you. Both Rudo and Hylia must be very proud of your support. Tomorrow, we shall end this war; Ganondorf will fall and peace shall reign. Tomorrow, we end the thousand-year long pain of your people. I will break the curse to save you from extinction in the names of Hylia and Rudo!"

Everyone rose up and began cheering. The new leader felt joy spread through her whole body as she jumped with the agility of a Sheikah down from the building made her way over to Link.

"Hey Zelda." he said.

"Hey Link." she said back before whispering something in his ear.

"What?! Do I have to?"

"Yes! We may as well so that they know I'm not the only Hylian around here who won't kill them or be a pervert."

"Great! Now you're being sexist too!"

"Just shut up and follow my lead!" she hissed just loud enough for him but not the other Gerudo to hear.

"Fine."

Zelda smirked before a seriousand formal expression came over her face. "Link of the Hylians; you have been through much strife at the hands of the Gerudo Tribe. But now our survival is threatened by both my ancestors and the King of Evil so as leader of the Gerudo, I beg for your forgiveness, but as the true heir to Hyrule's throne, I ask for you to lend us your strength to defend our kingdom." And then she curtsied while holding out her hand.

All the Gerudo stared at him expectantly while he tried to get over the awkwardness of the situation he was in. Does she really have to be so formal? Oh right, she's a princess! He eventually took her hand, bent down on one knee and bowed his head while placing his other hand over his heart. "Yes princess, I will forever defend Hyrule, including the Gerudo." And then he waited as the silence hovered around him. He just kept his humble position, hoping that the Gerudo would see that he meant what he said.

Soon afterwards, the crowd erupted into cheers as Zelda unexpectedly launched herself into his arms, knocking him onto his back. Link blinked with confusion and blushed because of how they looked together. Zelda, realising this, leapt off him like a cat sprayed with water and started talking really fast, "OhNayru'sloveIamsosorryaboutthatLinkpleasedon'tge t-thewrongidea!"

Link stood up, brushed the sand off himself and was just about to answer when he was bombarded with praises, 'pats' (More like slams!) on the back and hard punches of affection in the shoulder. Zelda came to his rescue by stepping in front of him with her arms held out. "Careful ladies, you might accidentally kill him if you keep this up."

They all laughed and nodded before parting to allow them to walk through the crowd. Link could hardly believe that they had changed their attitude towards him so quickly when two weeks ago they were screaming for Aveil to flog him. But then, he had been innocent on that occasion so Aveil had technically broken their Code of Honour.

When Korra and Fi saw the hero and the princess they ran over to them and pulled them into a group hug. When Impa approached the group, she saw Zelda smile and drag her into it as well.

The Sheikah warrior felt rather uncomfortable being squashed between Zelda and Fi and felt relieved once they all broke apart. She decided then and there that she would never again be part of a group hug for all eternity. She smiled at Zelda, "First Hylian, then Sheikah and now Gerudo! How many races will you be a part of in your life time?"

Zelda laughed, "At least I can be me rather than a guy in this race." she joked.

Impa's face fell. "What's wrong? Is it something I said?" asked Zelda, worried that she may have offended her somehow.

To her surprise, the Sheikah smiled, "I never told you have I?"

The princess blinked, "Told me what?"

"You remember Sheik don't you?" She nodded, "Well… remember how I once mentioned losing my son in the Great Civil War?"

She nodded again, "Let me guess; you made me dress up as your son for almost seven years?"

"You're too smart for me Zelda. But you looked so much like him, I thought it would be your best disguise." (A/N: There everyone; that's who Impa's lost! There is actually a grave in the Karkariko Village Graveyard that is said to be the resting place of a Sheikah loyal to the royal family and it could be Sheik.)

"I was great meeting your son then." she replied with a sweet smile.

Impa shook her head, "No, it was great that he met you."

Even when their life is lost, a loved one shall always live on in memory and sometimes, the face of others…

~†~ The Price of Sins ~†~

Link, Zelda and Fi sat on the beds together of Korra's dormitory in silence. The sun had set around half an hour ago and their faces were only illuminated in the dull candle light and the Sword Spirit's glow.

"So this is it huh?" said Zelda, "Tomorrow we end it."

The others remained quiet until Link said, "Do you think Nabooru's alright?"

"She'll be fine." answered Zelda, "Believe it or not; Ganondorf enjoys presenting his prize in the most attractive way possible. He wouldn't want to deface her too much because otherwise he won't have too much to brag about. He's a bit of a show off."

He stared back at her awkwardly, "How do you know this?"

"I was in Nabooru's exact position a few months ago. I was being used to lure the Hero of Time…" Zelda paused, "I'm sorry Link, I shouldn't be reminding you of what happened."

He shook his head, "No, it's fine. Besides, if he didn't die then I would never have been born."

"Aren't you scared it's going to happen to you though?" asked Fi.

"A little, but I know that I'm not going to. I can't let Ganondorf obtain the whole Triforce, I won't let him hurt Nabooru and I can't allow him to do anything that would cause the whole of Hyrule to be destroyed. I have a promise to keep as well."

The spirit's created heart gave a jolt of guilt. "Once again Link, I'm sorry that I cannot tell you anything more but, I calculate an 85% chance that you shall discover why very soon. Readings also show that with the combined skills of you, Zelda and I, there is a 96% possibility of saving your home from total destruction."

"It's your home too you know." said Zelda, "This is the land where you created your heart. Surely you would stay?"

Fi sighed, "You are forgetting one thing Zelda; I may have a heart but I am still a tool of the goddesses and within me rest the last remnants of the Demon King's power. Should it escape, a new disaster shall befall this world."

Her friends' eyes widened with shock. "They… they can't seal you away again!" exclaimed Zelda, "You have a life now. To do that would be just as good as killing you."

"I do not know what the goddesses' plans are for me, but I do know I would have remained in endless slumber if it were not for the death of the Hero of Time." She breathed in deeply before continuing, "I'm sorry about your loss Zelda, and how you have had to watch as others benefited from your hero's death. It really is cruel the way these things work but, thank-you for dealing with it so strongly and embracing our happiness, even if it came at the price of your own."

Zelda smiled, "In a way, I'm glad he died as well. It meant that I got to meet both of you and repent for the sins of the first of Hyrule's royal family. You're right; it is cruel that we feel this way but it would be even crueller if I were to hate you both for being here and for the Gerudo to remain in the desert. I doubt I would have been so eager to accept them into my kingdom otherwise after seeing them serve Ganondorf seemingly so willingly." She sighed, "He's a monster; he killed my father, enslaved Nabooru and I as well as treat his own people like dirt. Soon, they will be my people; they can live without fear. You have to defeat him Link, he has to die!"

Link was silent before Zelda said, "You'll need your rest for tomorrow. It's going to be a big day." Would it be the last day?

Fi got off the bed she was sitting on and became her sword form on the floor. Link picked up his weapon and leaned it against the wall next to his bed before pulling off his boots and was just about to lie down when, "Link, I'm really sorry about everything. You should never have been burdened with such a task with so much weight on your shoulders. Don't just win for us Link, win for yourself."

Link did not say anything. It was great that he was getting all this support but the battle ahead placed even Hyrule's existence on the line according to Fi. What if he lost like the Hero of Time? Everyone he ever knew or cared about would be doomed by something far worse than what Ganondorf could do. Then again, maybe it would save them from his cruelty, maybe they would all be at peace this way, but life was too precious for that and even though it would take away all the bad things, the good things would disappear as well. Hope was what kept the world alive right now and hope could vanish the instant Ganondorf's sword penetrates his heart. Everyone depended on him and nothing could change it.

He remembered the last thing Nabooru had said to him;

"I'll wait for you Link."

Then I'll come for you Nabooru. I'll protect you…

~†~ The Price of Sins ~†~

Okay! No dialogue cos this chapter is so long and I think some of my readers may find it annoying!

Next Week: Readers have to suffer from my terrible action with the first stage of the final battle, I use some Labinku to make up for it and we get some inner monologue on how Aveil is handling her decision and discover why she hasn't returned which may or may not make AreiaCananaid (and other readers) pity her. Ooh! One more thing; I may embarrass Ganondorf a little ;D

Unanswered Questions: How is Aveil coping with her decision to betray Nabooru and her goddess? What does she think of Zelda now? What shall happen in the final battle and who will win? Will Nabooru be okay? Will, when and how will Rudo descend from the heavens? Have I screwed up the final battle because I'm so terrible at action bits and I have way too many things going on at once? (This story is becoming too complex even for me now :'( At least I've written it already :) What is the mysterious aura that Fi and Ganondorf both sensed in Nabooru? Who is the Goddess of Life? Will the curse ever be broken? Why does Fi think that the world would be destroyed if Link were to lose to Ganondorf? What does it have to do with Nabooru? Could the destruction Fi mentioned in this chapter be the 'future of hopelessness' she mentioned in chapter 23? Why can't she give details? What is the sacrifice made to avoid it and how come the fate doesn't change for some people?

TPoS Progress Update: Really slow progress with chapter 29 and am half-way through it but I expect to be finishing it this weekend so that I can get all that boring 'sit down and explain everything' scene over and done with so that I can break the curse and do MY BEST LABINKU MOMENT EVER and it's gonna have to be since it has to be worthy of symbolising the end of a thousand year-long hatred and curse preventing the Gerudo from falling in love, not to mention saving them from extinction.
