"That is disgusting," Weiss sneered as the group of boys dropped their pants, several of them laughing as they played their newest 'game'. She pushed the tray of food away from her, her appetite lost at such a crude display. A shame as the cafeteria almost never served pizza, a treat she rarely indulged in due to her 'posh upbringing' as Yang coined it.
Said blonde barked out a laugh from across the lunch table, an easy-going smile on her face. "What's so disgusting? Nothing wrong with appreciating a good butt every now and again," she commented, leering at the decently attractive guy pulled his pants up and got a high-five from a friend for his efforts.
"Maybe once in a while," Blake drawled as she wrinkled her nose in her book, a slight blush on her face as she agreed with Yang. "However, there's a difference between checking out a guy and having them constantly expose themselves to you."
The heiress nodded. "I believe it's called 'sexual harrassment.'"
"Come on, it's not that bad," Yang deflected, rolling her eyes. Really, it's like Weiss never dealt with a bunch of teenage boys making themselves look like jackasses. "What's the worst that's happened so far? We see a little bit of flesh as they trick the other guys into looking?" She rolled her eyes and brushed her hair back over her shoulder before deadpanning at her teammates. "Yeah, I'm so mortified."
Blake furrowed her brow and set her book down. "Okay, maybe it's not that bad-"
"Not yet!" Weiss interjected quickly. "But you know boys and how stupid they can get. Eventually, things will escalate. Even you have to admit they've been getting bolder recently, Yang." It was true. It used to be just limited to the dorm wing and the library where not that many people could see.
Now, they were doing it in public. Sure, all anybody could really see were the cheeks, but it was still a big step up from where it had started.
Still, Yang wasn't convinced. "Come on, guys, I think you're making this a way bigger thing than it needs to be." She shrugged and took another bite of her pizza. "I mean, what's the worst that could hap-"
A bunch of rowdy laughs cut her off and pulled all of team WBY's attention as they saw that large crowd of boys still huddled together. One of them was several feet away at the door, turned around, and leaning forward. They could see him quickly hiking up his pants.
Ruby, the person who walked into the cafeteria, just looked shocked as she tried to hurry away from the guy who looked like he was trying reach out for her, her hood pulled up to try and hide her beet red face.
Weiss and Blake looked nervously at each other and then at Yang, but neither could get her to stop looking away from the sight, her crimson eyes fixed on the dead men laughing. "I would like to retract my previous statement. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm about to earn detention."
It only got worse before it even started to look like it might get better. Once Ruby was accidentally targeted (Blake and Weiss had overheard during the legendary beating that the poor guy thought his friend was gonna walk through the cafeteria doors next), nobody was safe. The game which had been previously only played between some of the guys was now a school-wide phenomenon.
Much to the female population's chagrin.
"I hate this game," Weiss cried out as Team RWBY inadvertently turned around a corner in the hall and caught an entire team of second years with their pants down. Apparently, that was the reaction the boys were looking for as they ran off, laughing the entire way.
"It's just a fad. It'll pass soon." Even as she said that however, Yang grimaced as she recounted the number of times they'd been mooned. "Even I gotta say though, I'm starting to get tired of seeing cute butts, and that's me saying that."
"It's been at least a month since this started. I don't think it's going to pass that easily," Ruby spoke up from inside her hood that seemed to be up more often than not these days if just to limit her field of view in the school.
"I swear, this is just like from one of my books," Blake muttered darkly under her breath, rubbing at her eyes in frustration. "Only with butts instead of finger rings and punching. I wish we could just do what they did in it and make this all stop." When nobody picked up the conversation, she opened her eyes to see not just her team but several other girls who were passing by looking at her with an intent look on their faces. "What?"
"What did they do to end it in your book?" Weiss asked, very to the point.
Blake saw what they were going for and rubbed her chin in thought. "One of the girls outdid the boys by such a large degree that everybody agreed that she was the winner of the game. After all, nobody could outdo what she did, so there was no point in playing anymore."
There was only quiet in that hallway as the information registered in the girls' minds. All of them seemed to share some sense of telepathy because as one, they all looked back at the black-haired beauty of Team RWBY. Blake immediately understood what just happened.
"No."
"It's your book, so it's your plan."
"I said no."
"But-"
"EXACTLY! NO!" Blake yelled, taking a step away from the rapidly closing in group of girls. "I'm not doing it!"
However, she stepped back far enough to be able to see around the corner. To her dismay, she saw not just the team from earlier who had mooned her but also several of their buddies, though to be fair, that wasn't what she was focused on. At her gasp, the boys knew they got somebody and took off, manic laughter filling the air.
Blake turned back to the crowd of girls, a look of fierce determination on her face. "Alright, I'm in. How are we doing this?"
It took some planning, but the girls were lucky in that they had the support of Professor Goodwitch who had been the target of some of the dumber males' antics herself (though she warned them that she would have to deny having helped them at all when she learned of the plan and would even have to publically condemn them afterwards). Having taught for long enough, Glynda knew that making a new school rule would not do anything to stop the boys. It was all too easy to call a school assembly of the boys.
"Gentlemen, it is to my understanding and... displeasure," Glynda drawled in front of the male student body, that last word so cold, some of the guys were surprised they couldn't see her breath, "that many of you are taking part in a 'game' of sorts though I use that term lightly." She paused to see most of them shifting in their seats. "It cannot continue. Does anybody know why?"
"Because you all lose!" Blake cried out from the back of the auditorium. A spotlight lit up from above and shone down on her. Nobody spoke or moved as they took in the shocking sight before them.
The legendary Bellabooty was on full display. Blake had apparently discarded any notion of underwear that day and had hiked her skirt up to her waist. Not only could everybody see the shine of the light on her perfectly rounded, heart-shaped ass, but they could also see the pink of her up-until-now best kept secret. She peeked over her shoulder with those golden eyes to make sure every boy was turned around and looking at her show of dominance.
Blake stayed like that for a good thirty seconds, even swiveling in place to make sure to moon every member of the audience before she stood up straight, smoothed her skirt back down, and then took off running as Professor Goodwitch furiously shouted how she had detention. However, all Blake could hear was the sound of her heart pumping furiously, even when she ran into the girls she planned this with who were congratulating her and shouting victory cries.
Gods, she hoped this worked.
The good news was that the plan had worked. The bad news was it worked too well and her reputation was now shot.
Blake groaned.
She had worked so hard to be the mysterious well-read girl, but now every guy in the school saw her as one of them, meaning they were acting all way more familiar with her than they should have. She couldn't count the number of times she'd heard somebody shout her newest nickname and ask for a repeat performance.
"Hey Bellabooty! Bet you can't top what you did in the auditorium last week! Prove me wrong!" she heard somebody yell down the hall at her. She didn't even bother to turn around.
If he wanted to see her butt again, all he had to do was go online. Apparently, several of the guys had the frame of mind to record her "dominance" with pictures and videos to share with everybody later on. She'd nearly punched Yang in the mouth when she commented about how none of them would ever forget how much more badass than them she was.
'I left the White Fang for this,' Blake thought to herself as Ruby gave her a weak smile and a sympathetic pat on the shoulder. The cat faunus considered that thought for a moment before coming to a conclusion, standing up a little straighter and walking with more purpose in her stride.
'Still worth it.'
