Hey guys, so here is the epilogue to this fanfiction and though it took me almost three years to complete, I am happy to realize that I didn't give up halfway like with some of my other stories. I hope that you guys enjoy this light and fluffy epilogue and though it is short, I think it's pretty good :)

Five Years Later:

Caroline stood in front of the full length mirror and a large smile appeared on her lips. Her wedding gown was indeed beautiful with its Queen Anne style and her blonde hair was curled to perfection.

"You look beautiful, Care." Katherine told her as she came up behind her and smiled.

"Thank you," she whispered, running her fingers down her dress touching the lace as well as the ruffles that began at the bottom.

"Caroline!" A voice said from the door and she turned around just in time to see Ari making his way into the room.

"Hello, Ari." Caroline said as she motioned for him to come forward before giving him a hug.

"Klaus is pacing around." Ari said matter-of-factly, a smile appearing on his lips.

"Is he now? Well, good for him." The blonde laughed. "Is the orchestra in place already?"

"Yes," he nodded.

"Perfect," she smiled. "Can you please call in my parents to lead me down the aisle?"

"Yep," he nodded. "I'll be right back!"

When Ari was out of the room, Caroline turned to her best friends with a nervous expression on her face.

"Care, everything will be fine." Rebekah told her and the other girls nodded reassuringly.

"Okay," she whispered. "You're right, of course." The blonde sighed, nonetheless she remained nervous.

When her parents came in, followed by Ari, she moved quickly in their direction and they hugged her tightly.

"You look beautiful, sweetheart." Bill complimented as he held her at arm's-length and inspected the dress that she wore. "Although this dress shows too much." He frowned.

"Bill," Liz chastised as she looked over at him with bewilderment. "Caroline is getting married today and is no longer a baby." She reminded him.

"She'll always be a baby to me," Bill whispered as his eyes filled with moisture.

"Oh, daddy." Caroline sighed as she embraced him and held him tightly.

"I love you, sweetheart." He told her and she smiled at him because she knew that it was the truth.

"I love you too," she stated, a bright smile lighting up her face.

"You two are going to turn me into a watering pot." Liz said as her bottom lip began to quiver and she looked between her husband and daughter.

"Good," Caroline and Bill said in unison.

Laughing aloud, the trio hugged again and Liz motioned for Ari to come forward.

Moving in the direction of his his adoptive mother, he smiled before she brought him into their hug as well.

"I'm just happy you won't be getting married anytime soon, sweetheart." Liz said as she smoothed Ari's unruly hair.

"Not for another twenty years, mama." He reassured her and she smiled at him.

Bill looked down at Ari with a proud smile on his lips. After all, both Bill and Ari's personalities were two peas in a pod.

"More like ten," Caroline said as she eyed her younger brother with a grin on her lips. "And I already have a girl in mind."

"Ugh," he groaned in annoyance. "I haven't even had my bar mitzvah yet, Care." He reminded her and she shrugged.

"Still," she simply said.

With a roll of his eyes, he looked at Caroline's best friends and motioned for them to follow him to the ceremony.

When her friends were out of the room, Caroline looked at her parents and nodded.

"This is it," she said.

"Yes," they agreed.

"Niklaus is a wonderful man, my dear." Liz told her and Bill nodded in agreement.

"And we already see him as our third son and I am fairly certain that he sees us as his second pair of parents as well."

"He does," she reassured. "Trust me." She laughed as the memory of her conversation with her fiancé came to mind.

"Caroline?" He questioned as they cuddled on their couch while watching a cheesy romance film.

"Hm?" She asked as she ran her fingers down his bare chest.

"I forgot," he said as he strayed her fingers. "I can't seem to think with your fingers moving down my body."

"Well then, I shall stop." She shrugged.

"Only for a couple of seconds." He whispered as he kissed her cheek.

"Fine," she smiled. "Now, what is it that you wanted to say?"

"Well, our wedding is next week."

"I know," she smiled as she looked down at her beautiful ring. Set in platinum, the circular diamond was accentuated by the square that it was in and as the light captured it, she sighed in delight.

Though she was never one to be materialistic, the ring that she wore made her feel beautiful…

"So, I was wondering… How will you be addressing my parents after we are married?"

"Mom and dad, I was hoping." She told him immediately and he smirked down at her with excitement. "Why do you ask?" She wondered, the curiosity evident in her voice.

"Because I want to call your parents mom and dad as well."

"You do?" She asked, the surprise evident in her voice.

"Of course," he reassured and she wrapped her arms around him tightly.

"I love you, Nik." She told him.

"I love you, sweetheart." He replied.

As the memory faded from her mind, she looked from her mother to her father before they made their way out of the house.

In the clearing, Caroline smiled as she thought about that night they shared five years ago. In the beginning of the two month span of boot camp, Caroline was fairly certain that she would never get along with the commander that thought he had everything figured out, but here she was- on their wedding day and she couldn't help the excitement building up.

When the trio arrived at the obstacle course where they were holding the wedding ceremony, Caroline's eyes immediately landed on Klaus.

His eyes seemed to penetrate through her very soul and the shiver of excitement made its way over her.

As they got closer to the front, her parents gave her kisses on the cheeks before they left her and took their seats in the front row.

Klaus came towards her and took ahold of her hand just as he removed the veil from her face.

"You look stunning, Caroline." He told her, a smile playing on his lips.

"Thank you," she said as he took her hand.

Together, they made their way towards the rabbi that stood in the front and the elderly man began the ceremony that would make them husband and wife.

"Niklaus Axel Mikaelson, do you take Caroline Melanie Forbes as your wife?"

"I do," he answered immediately.

"Caroline Melanie Forbes, do you take Niklaus Axel Mikaelson as your husband?"

"I do," she answered just as quickly.

They slipped the wedding bands on each other's fingers and the rabbi announced them as husband and wife. Then, he stepped on the wine glass that was covered in a white handkerchief and it broke under his jump.

The audience erupted in applause and well wishes and Klaus and Caroline looked at one another before they locked lips.

That day was one to remember and though the wedding wasn't held in a beautiful hall, the obstacle course was just as good because that was where they met and there the adventure of a lifetime begun…

And they lived happily ever after with their three beautiful children- Aiden, Deena, and Isabelle as well as their golden retriever that was named Goldie.

There you have it, my lovelies! So, I hope I wrote their wedding well and I wish I could have described Caroline's wedding gown as well as her ring, but I am not sure where I can post the link (maybe tumblr?) my tumblr is alyonsden!
