Sakura was currently walking Sasuke to the door, since he was about to leave.
"Make sure you tell your family I said hey," Sakura said as she opened the door for Sasuke.
"Hn," Sasuke grunted out as he walked out. Sakura rolled her eyes.
"Hey! You forgot something," Sakura said as she stood in the doorway. Sasuke looked back at her confused.
"I'm pretty sure all I brought here was my phone, and that's in my pocket." he said pulling out his phone. Sakura rolled her eyes again.
"You're supposed to be my best friend and you don't even give me a hug when you leave." She said putting her hands on her hips. Sasuke just smirked.
"I thought we discovered that I wasn't your best friend when we went through that little thing with you and Daisuke at the mall and stuff." he said walking back towards her.
"Just because Ino introduces me to a boy doesn't change the fact that you are my best friend Sasuke," she said as he pulled her into a hug.
"Yeah, yeah whatever you say Sakura," Sasuke said as he hugged her.
"Wooah, uh, am I interrupting anything?" Matsuri said as she came down the stairs and saw the two teens hugging.
Right behind her was Sasori who immediately jumped to conclusions.
"Sasuke, man, I thought you were my friend, my bud, my brother from another mother. But I see that you're like no other, and just used me to get to my sister. Well look here mister, you've got another thing coming!" he said as he walked down the steps. Sasuke and Sakura broke apart and looked at Matsuri and Sasori.
"What's up with you and all that rhyming?" Sakura asked.
"He thinks he can rap, since he heard the beat Sasuke made for you." Matsuri said going into the kitchen.
"Not true!" Sasori called loudly to Matsuri. He turned back to the teens. "She got it all wrong," he said as he leaned closer to Sasuke. "I was born to be a rapper, it's just that beat you made," he paused to make it dramatic, which just made Sakura roll her eyes at her idiotic brother. "Gave me inspiration, ya' know?" Sasori said as he patted Sasuke on the back. "Good job my man," he said walking back up the stairs 'rapping'.
"To think I'm related to that," Sakura said laughing. Sasuke just smirked and walked out the door to his car and started it. But before he pulled of he heard Sakura call to him.
"Hey Sasuke," he heard her say as he looked towards her and raised an eyebrow. "Jealousy doesn't suit you." She said remembering what happened in the studio a few hours ago.
"And playboys don't suit you," he said smirking and pulling off. Sakura just laughed and went inside.
As she closed the door she saw Matsuri walking out of the kitchen.
"Hey Mat, have you seen Akira?" Sakura asked her sister as they both walked up the stairs.
"No why?"
"Really? You didn't see her this morning or anything?" Sakura asked.
"Like I said before, no why?" Matsuri said walking to her room, Sakura right behind her.
"Well she always tells me she's going by you in your room or whatever, but I haven't seen here around here lately.
"What? She never was with me in my room, only that time when you and Mom were screaming about that today's the day thing." Matsuri said as she thought about it.
"Oh, okay just wondering." Sakura said walking towards her room. "That's weird."
~January 26~
"Tomorrow I have to go to see Mr. Kakashi and sing that song to see if he likes it," Sakura said as she clicked through the channels on the TV in the den.
"Aren't you happy?" Ino asked.
"Yeah of course I am," Sakura said.
"Sakura I know you like I know all of the shoes that be on sale at every mall. And right now my Sakura senses are tingling which means you're not ok. Oh and there's a sale at Rue21 on all heels from now till 5:00 P.M." Ino said.
"Wow Ino, Sakura senses, you're one funny chick," Sakura said as she settled on watching Cold Case. "And it's not that something is wrong with me, it's just that I think something is up with Akira."
"Akira, as in something is up with Akira that I can fight her, or just something is up with Akira Sakura's best friend, kind of problem?" Ino said.
"No you cannot fight her, I just think, URGH! I don't know; I just know something isn't right." Sakura said getting frustrated.
"Calm down and just tell me what's going on, what is she doing?" Ino asked.
"Okay, every time I'm doing something she always says, 'I'm going see what Matsuri is doing,' but I asked Matsuri today if Akira has been with her in her room or whatever. And she said no she hasn't been in there since that day me and my mama got happy over the date thing. So that's weird because Akira never used to lie, and she never hung out that much with Matsuri like she say's she's doing." Sakura said.
"She's either on drugs and don't know what's going on, or she's seeing someone and doesn't want you to know." Ino said.
"Ok I know for sure she's not on drugs so scratch that off. But, if she is seeing someone why would she not tell me?"
"Maybe she thinks you won't like the person, maybe it's someone you know, or maybe she's gay and doesn't want to come out of the closet."
"Geez Ino you must really hate her if you think she's gay,"
"Hey it's just suggestions, I'm trying to help you here woman!"
"Ok, ok, so no she's not gay. So all I have left are the other two choices." Ino gather up the gang and tell them to meet up at the mall at the food court." Sakura said turning off the TV and hanging up her cell phone without hearing Ino's reply.
-Upstairs-
Sakura found Akira in her room watching TV.
"Hey," Sakura said as she walked into her room and closed the door. She walked over to her closet to pick out something to wear.
"What's up?" Akira said still watching TV.
"Nothing much just getting dressed," Sakura said still looking for something to wear. She quickly grabbed a pair of pink shorts, a lime green tight fitted t-shirt, and flip flops. She quickly changed and tried to act normal but couldn't hold it in anymore.
"Are you gay?" she blurted out.
"What?" Akira asked quickly looking at Sakura not even worrying about the TV anymore.
"I'm sorry, but it's just a question, please don't get offended. Are you gay?" Sakura asked again quickly brushing her hair and putting it into a neat bun.
"What, Sakura, NO, I am not and will never be gay," Akira said with a bewildered look on her face.
"Just a question, I still love you like a sis." Sakura said leaving the room and going towards her brother's room.
-Ino-
'Gang meeting at mall by Rue21 A.S.A.P.!'Send...
"Ok now to find something to wear." Ino said as she set her phone down and looked for clothes.
-Naruto-
"Don't cha wish your Ramen tasted good like mine, don't cha wish your Ramen was hot like mine. Don't cha...don't cha baby!" Naruto sung as he started eating his Ramen.
*buzzzz...buuzzz*
"Oooh, a message!" Naruto said as he stopped eating and checked his messages. "A group message, eh?"
Ino: 'Group meeting at mall by Rue21 A.S.A.P.!'
Naruto: 'If there's Ramen then OKAY! I'll be there!'
Tenten: 'Kk...Let me get dressed.'
Hinata: 'Ok.'
Sasuke: 'Hn.'
Shikamaru: 'What a drag.'
Neji: 'I'm not doing anything so ok.'
Sakura: 'Ino I said by the food court!'
Ino: 'I know but remember how I said there's going to be a sale at Rue21...BYE!'
-Sakura-
"Gaara, are you and Akira going out?" Sakura asked her brother who was on his laptop in his blood red and black room.
"No Sakura, don't be delusional." he said not even turning away from his computer or getting mad.
"Ok, love you bye." she said leaving and going to Sasori's room.
"Saso-chan, are you and Akira going out?" Sakura asked him.
"Look at this fool, she think she cool. She asked me if I'm going out with her best friend, that's just pretend. I don't date Akira, whoever said that is a liar! Wooord!" Sasori rapped to Sakura.
"I'll take that as a no. Kay bye!" Sakura said shutting his door and going down stairs to drive to the mall and meet her friends.
