~Narrator's POV~
"Ice-Make: Hammer!" Gray shouted, throwing another attack at Lucy.
Lucy jumped to the side, dodging the ice but was hit again when Gray appeared behind her and kicked her.
"Gray what's wrong with you?!" Lucy shouted with tears in her eyes.
Gray's eyes darkened in anger as Lucy continued to call out to him without fighting back.
"Stop calling me! I don't know you but you hurt Daphne!" He yelled as he got into another stance.
"Open! Gate of the Dragon Sin: Meliodas!" She shouted as a black key appeared in her hands.
Meliodas appeared in a silver glow and caught the blade of ice that Gray tried to slash down onto Lucy.
"Hey aren't you her friend? Why are you treating you lady like this," he asked as the blade shattered.
"I don't know that blonde!" Gray exclaimed as he jumped back next to Daphne.
"We've known each other for over seven years!" Lucy screamed as Meliodas dissapeared back into his gate.
"Why don't you hurry so we can proceed with the plan," Daphne smirked.
Gray glanced at her from the corner of his eye before nodding, ice swirling around his hands again.
"Ice-Make: Lance!"
"Fire dragon: Roar!"
The ice was melted by a giant column of fire, that broke half the ceiling, that disappeared right after. Nastu fell through the hole and landed in front of Lucy. Right after him came Erza and Lisanna, both landing next to him.
"Good job you finally broke through," Erza stated as she smashed his head into her armor in a hug.
"That was supposed to keep them out longer than that!" Daphne cried out as she stomped her foot.
Gray surveyed the newcomers before crossing his arms over his chest, his shirt long gone.
"Gray we found you!" Happy shouted as he floated next to Nastu's head.
"It talks?!" Gray exclaimed in surprise as Happy continued to blabber on about random nonsense.
"Popsicle you've known Happy for as long as he was born so you know he talks!" Nastu shouted.
"I don't know any of you losers! And even if I did I wouldn't think to even talk to trash like you!" Gray snarled.
Erza's face darkened in anger and both Daphne and Gray felt shivers run down their spines. The two regained their composure before speaking again.
"Honey can you finish them off and grab the blondie? Oh and go ahead and dispatch the rest so they won't get in our way later," Daphne said as she smirked at the group.
"Whatever you want I'll do," Gray said, his face and tone of voice void of emotion.
Gray leaped forward with a giant blade of ice in his hands and Erza leaped forward to counter him with her own blades. Their two blades collided and the air around them blew back from the force.
"I see you swordsman ship hand improved significantly compared to two years ago," Erza said as she leaped back, landing nimbly on her feet.
Gray didn't respond as he fell back and his ice disappeared. Natsu and Lisanna leaped at Daphne, who continued to stand in her place, chewing on a Metamo stick.
"You guys should really eat these yes, yes, yes! Especially the white haired girly cause you look like your gaining weight in your stomach region," she said as the two stopped in front of her.
"What have you done to Gray?!" Lisanna yelled, trying to contain her rage of being called overweight.
"Oh you mean my soon-to-be husband?" She asked innocently, her gentle smil darkening.
"He's not going to be your husband cause he has higher and better standards than that!" Nastu shouted as he glanced at Lucy.
"Shut it and die!" Daphne snapped as different magic arrows started launching at the two from all angles.
Nastu and Lisanna jumped and ducked around, trying to dodge the sharp looking arrows before they heard the familiar cry of a spell being casted and a giant light blue force field appeared, shielding them from the attack.
"I've got your backs!" Lucy exclaimed as the arrows stopped and her shield disappeared.
"Aww I thought the shock would leave you incapable of fighting a little longer," Daphne pouted.
"I don't know what you've done to him but I swear that you will pay!" Lucy growled, her magic slowly leaking off of her in waves.
Daphne simply grinned and placed a hand on her hip.
"Come at me," she smirked.
Lucy growled and pulled out her whip, the long cord appearing and pulsing with her magic. Daphne grinned as Lucy drew her arm back and snapped it forward. The whip drew towards the black haired girl and when it was supposed to wrap around her it passed through her body, her form rippling before becoming solid again.
"AhahahahaHaHaHaHaHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" She cackled madly, tears forming in the corners of her eyes as she saw Lucy, Natsu, and Lisanna's reactions.
Gray, who had still been fighting Erza, glanced at her from the corner of his eye giving Erza the distraction she needed. She requipped her speed armor and kicked Gray in the face, sending him flying. Gray crashed into Lucy, sending them both flying into a wall.
"KKKYYYAAAA," Lucy screamed as they crashed into thw wall, her taking the weight of them.
Gray sat up slowly, feelimg something squishy in his hands. He opened his eyes quickly only to turn beet red in shock and embarrassment. Gray was sitting on top of Lucy, straddling her, with his left hand clutching her chest while he was propping himself up on the ground with his right hand. Lucy stared up at him in shock, her own face bright red, as she tried to process what was going on.
"I-i..." Gray stuttered as he scrambled off of her quickly and backed up.
"Gray how could you?!" Daphne shrieked.
"That wasn't on purpose idiot!" He exclaimed while covering his face.
Lucy stood up and brushed her clothes off, still red in the face.
"Just hurry and catch the girl! I need her power to move on!" Daphne said.
"I can't fight a girl that I just- argh I can't fight her now!" Gray yelled in embarrassment.
"Then fight me!" Natsu shouted as he lit his fist on fire and charged Gray.
Gray, who was still distracted, turned to Natsu just in time to get a face full of fire. Natsu punched Gray and sent him flying to Lisanna, who in turn attacked Gray with her tiger-takeover. Gray crashed to the ground face first and stayed there, to in pain to move.
"Get up GET UP!" Daphne shouted in anger.
Erza walked over to him and pulled him up to stand, his arm drapped over her shoulder and her arm surrounding his waist. Gray made an effort to push her away with a growl but cried out in pain when she whacked him across the back of his head.
"We're taking you back to the guild Gray," she said, causing him to narrow his eyes in anger.
"I'm not going anywhere with you freaks!" He shouted, renewed with energy.
Gray shoved Erza roughly, causing her to let him go to catch her balance, and jumped away awkwardly. Erza crossed her arms and sighed.
"Then we'll do this the hard way," she grumbled before walking over to him again.
Gray glared at her and stepped back again before getting into a sloppy battle stance. Erza looked at Natsu, who stood behind Gray, and inclined her head slightly into a nod. Natsu nodded back grimly before charging Gray again, elbowing him in the back of his neck and successfully knocking him out. Gray crashed to the ground as Daphne stared in horror.
"GRAY!" She shrieked as Lucy and Lisanna ran over to the rest.
Lucy bent down and picked up Gray, Lisanna taking his other arm and helping Lucy hold him up.
"Lucy can you call the rest to this area?" Erza asked as she stood next to the blond.
"There's no need Bunny-girl Salamander's cat brought us here," A gruff voice stated from behind them.
They turned to see everyone else standing at the front door, Happy floating next to Levy with a giant grin on his face.
"Good then we shall leave at once," Erza commanded.
"I'M STILL HERE!" Daphne screamed in anger.
Daphne pressed something out of the group's view as they turned around. In less than an instance, swords from all angles took the mages by surprise. Lucy, who wasn't able to turn along with Lisanna due to holding Gray, couldn't put up a shield, so they were reduced to dodging. Erza requipped her Adamantine Armor, blocking the sharp weapons from baring down on them from one side.
"DIE DIE DIE!!!" Daphne shrieked as her form rippled again before disappearing.
"Open! Gate of the Lion: Leo!" Lucy shouted as she awkwardly summoned the spirit while setting Gray onto the ground.
Loke Immediately started knocking the limitless swords away from the three wordlessly, only taking a quick glance to check to see if Lucy was O.K. A few minutes had passed and the mages were running out of adrenaline. The swords continued to rain down onto them as if there was no stopping them.
"Fire Dragon-" Natsu chanted once more, Gajeel and Wendy copying his actions.
"Sky Dragon-"
"Iron Dragon-"
"ROAR!" The three shouted as their roars combined and knocked the swords away, successful blocking the swords from coming from another direction.
After their fifth time combining roars, the second side stopped firing swords at them and with Erza still preventing them from hitting them from the direction of the door they only had swords coming at them from two sided.
Nastu glanced at Lucy and Lisanna, only for his eyes to widen in shock and fear. The two were trying to defend both themselves and Gray, causing them to run out of energy quicker than the rest. Lisanna was currently blocking swords from coming at her and Gray from the side but she missed a few from the front.
"Lisanna watch out!" Natsu shouted from his place on the other side of the room, to far away to help.
It felt as time slowed down when the white-haired maiden turned. Her eyes widened in shock and surprise as three sharp blades headed straight towards her. She squeezed her eyes shut waitimg for the impact that never came.
All anyone saw was a flash of gold. Then red.
Trust me when I say I was very tempted to end it here:3
Gray woke up the the same unfamiliar room again. He sighed as he realized the ropes he was tied with restrainted all magic that he could use. He glanced around the white room as best as he could from where her was, his view limited due to lying down. He didn't see anyone in the large room at the time and she sighed in relief.
Gray cursed lowly as he tried to squirm out of the ropes but succeeded in only tightening them. He glanced at a bed that sat two beds away from him, only seeing the same gold ponytail hanging off the bed. Suddenly, the door creaked open and his eyes narrowed in anger as they darted to it to see who was entering. An old, pink haired woman entered alone, the door closing quietly behind her. She walked over to the bed Lucy occupied, sparing only a glance at him before getting to work. A few minutes later, Wendy walked in, her own hair in a high ponytail as she was ready to work. She gave Gray a small sad smile before running to Lucy's side, immediately getting to work slowly healing her.
~Flashback~
All they saw was a flash of gold. Then red.
Lisanna crashed to the floor in surprise. Her eyes snapped open, but she regretted it instantly. Lucy crashed to the ground on her side with a muffled thud, three blades sticking out of the front of her body. Blood had splashed onto the takeover mage's face when the swords inpailed the blond.
"Lucy!!!" Lisanna shrieked, running over to her limp form.
Lucy's eyes slowly drifted to Lisanna's face, not really focused. A small smile crossed her face as she realized that Lisanna was ok.
"Good, your fine," she muttered, a littlee blood trinkling out of the corner of her mouth.
Lisanna's tears dripped onto Lucy's face as she stared down at her. The swords finally stopped coming and the rest of the group ran and crowded the two.
"Lucy what have you done?! Why get yourself hurt instead of me?!" Lisanna cried as Erza pulled the swords out, Wendy jumping into action quickly.
Lucy tried to stay conscious but the darkness at the edge of her vision kept sapping her energy until she couldn't fight it anymore, the last thing she saw was the tear streaked faces of her friends, and Gray, who hadn't fully regained consciousness and hadn't registered anything that had happened yet.
Gray thought back to what he had overheard the little sky dragon slayer said when they first got to the guild. She had saide that two of the blades cut holes in the Celestial mage's magic container. As if that wasn't bad enough, the third sword stabbed her under her heart, just barely missing it.
"Now channel your magic to fix her leaking magic container," Porlyusica instructed.
Wendy nodded and continued to work, following the woman's instructions carefully.
~Timeskip~
Gray stared at Porlyusica as she stood next to his bed, the latter mixing something in a bottle. His eyes narrowed as she muttered insults on the line of 'stupid brats'.
"What are you doing hag?" Gray smirked.
Porlyusica turned sharply to him and whacked hin across the head. Gray yelped in surprise and pain, trying to cover his head but not being able to. The pink haired woman turned back around and continued to work, much to Gray's annoyance. A few minutes later, Porlyusica turned to Gray and held up a bottle of a purple substance.
"Open you mouth," she demanded, catching the attention of Gray, who had spaced out.
"Eh?" He asked before noticing the bottle in her hands.
Gray shook his head no and turned away from her, irking the nerves of the alread annoyed healer. Tickmarks appeared on her head as the air around her darkened. Instead she pulled out a syringe and inserted the liquid into it. She grabbed Gray's head and exposed his neck, catching him completely off guard. Before he could do anything, the woman stuck the needle in his neck and inserted the medicine before taking it out.
"What the heck lady?!" Gray shouted.
Porlyusica turned away from him and packed her bag before leaving, not even sparing a glance at him. Gray cursed at himself for getting caught. He stared at the ceiling as he let his thoughts run wild. A few minutes later, the door opened once again, but the two people standing there did not seem like the same girls that always came to give him food. Well, the white-haired ine seemed new to him.
"Juvia hopes Gray-san is hungry. Juvia brought a Mira today instead," the blue-haired mage rambled as the two walked over to the bed.
"Hi Gray! I made your favorite so I hope you have an appetite!" Mira chirped as she fixed his bed to where he was sitting up.
"Tch," Gray grumbled, although he was thankful for being able to sit up because he could have a clear view of Lucy.
Gray looked over to the sleeping blonde, studying her features more. When he first met her, he felt weird but brushed it off as feeling sick. Ever since the first time Porlyusica gave him the substance, which he still didn't know why she kept giving it to him, the feeling grew and when he ignored it, it felt as if thousands of tiny needles were stabbing him repeatedly. His attention was turned back to the two maidens that stood over him when a spoon was held in front of his face. Juvia stood next to him with the spoon near his mouth as she tried to get him to eat.
"Gray-san needs to eat," Juvia said when he shook his head no.
"I don't need anything from freaks like you," he growled before turning his head.
Mira continued to smile with her eyes closed but the air around her slowly darkened. Juvia looked over at the takeover mage and shivered slightly, even though her anger wasn't directed at the water mage. Mira smacked him upside his head, much to his dismay, and took the spoon from Juvia. Gray glared at her before noticing the dark aura that leaked off her in waves.
"Be a good boy and eat," Mira said as she held the spoon up to him, her voice laced with sugar and venom.
Beads of sweat rolled down Gray's face as he took a small bite, terrified of the woman standing in front of him. Juvia sweatdropped at the takeover mage's tactics. Mira continued to feed Gray, who wouldn't admit it but really liked the food, as she chattered to Juvia about random things.
"So how are you and Lyon doing?" Mira asked suddenly, causing Juvia to turn red and Gray to choke on his food.
Mira turned to Gray in surprise and gave him water.
"J-juvia wants to know if Gray-san is O.K," Juvia stuttered, trying to get the attention off of her.
Gray coughed again and cleared his throat before glaring at the two women in front of him.
"How do you two know Lyon?"
Master Makarov was sitting on the bar counter when Lyon walked in. Juvia, who was sitting at a table, glanced at Mira and blushed crimson when the white-haired maiden wiggled her eyebrows and winked at her.
"Thank you for arriving so quickly at a short notice," Makarov said as he stood.
"I just came to see what that idiot of an ice mage has gotten himself into. Not to mention I get to see my sweet Juvia!" He replied while hugging Juvia.
"A-ah L-lyon~sama, Juvia has something important to tell you," Juvia stuttered while whispering into his ear.
Lyon nodded and winked at the blushing water mage before following the short guild master to the infirmary.
Gray's head snapped to the door as it opened, his eyes widening in surprise at the person entering. Lyon smirked and winked at Gray as he approached the bed.
"Where have you been?!" Gray exclaimed to his fellow ice mage.
"The same place since the Grand Magic Games. Lamia Scale," Lyon said as he sat on the edge of the bed. "The real question is. Where have you been the past two months and a half. Your guild and your little girlfriend had been going crazy trying to find you."
"I'm sick and tired of everyone saying I'm with these circus freaks! And I've been with my girlfriend for the longest!" Gray growled, annoyed.
Makarov sat in a chair quietly, observing the conversation between the two.
"I'm sorry to say this but your girlfriend is right there in the bed- holy crap what happened to Lucy?!" Lyon shouted, noticing the many bandages surrounding the blonde.
"That chick isn't my girlfriend, Daphne is. And from what I heard she took swords for someone else," Gray said without glancing at her.
Lyon sighed before glancing at Makarov. The old man nodded and crossed his arms.
"Gray... What all do you remember?" He asked.
"Well... When we were kids we split up after Ur died... I met Ultear, her daughter a couple years after meeting Daphne," he started with a frown. "I don't really know to be honest. Everything's fuzzy."
Gray frowned as he realized that a lot of his memories were not clear like they should have been. Lyon looked at Gray in worry, although he would never admit it, before glancing at Makarov again.
"Gray," the short old man started, catching his attention. "Whatever Daphne told you isn't true. She kidnapped you over two months ago."
Gray froze in shock and surprise as the old man's words sunk in. Suddenly, Gray felt a weird feeling before coming to a decision.
"Your lying," He stated coldly, shocking the two.
His eyes had glazed over and his voice had changed, sounding monotone and very unlike his own. Makarov had Mira change his restraints to magic chains around his wrists before Lyon came and he looked at them to see Gray gripping them tightly in his hands.
"Gray," Lyon started, only to be stopped by Makarov.
Gray continued to stare blankly ahead of himself, not making and movement to show that he was listening or even cared. Instead, he continued gripping the chains. The little old man sighed sadly and raised his hand, a golden mist surrounding it and floating over to Gray. A minute later, Gray's eyes rolled back into his head as he slumped over, knocked out.
"What was that?" Lyon asked as the mist dissapeared.
"Don't worry it's just a trick Mystogan used when he didn't want anyone to see him. Only this will keep him knocked out for awhile," Makarov said as he stood.
Lyon looked at Gray again before standing also, following Makarov as he left the infirmary. Juvia, who had been waiting for the two to exit, stood up and ran to Lyon. She grabbed his hand and ran out of the guild.
"Seeya later!" Lyon yelled as the frantic water mage dragged him away.
Mira smirked as the rest of the guildmembers watched them leave with confusion sketched on their faces. Laxus noticed this and sighed before going back to eating.
"Poor souls. Now Mira will get them," he muttered.
The next day, Elizabeth was rushing to the guild. She had been told by Wendy that Lucy was going to wake up today and she wanted to be the first there.
"Ohayo everyone!" She chirpped as she ran through the guild, heading straight to the infirmary.
Erza stood near the door, gaurding it when Elizabeth came to a stop at the door.
"Erm... Is it O.K. if I go in?" She asked nervously.
Erza nodded and Elizabeth smiled again before going into the room. Inside stood Juvia, Mira and Lisanna, who were all near Lucy's bed. Wendy was sitting in a chair, asleep, with Carla in her lap. Happy was in Lucy's lap as he also slept.
"Is Levy-chan here," Elizabeth asked Mira as she walked over to her.
"Levy and Gajeel left on a mission yesterday morning. Their not going to be back till later today," Mira replied as Elizabeth sat in a chair next to Lucy's bed.
She glanced at the bed Gray was in and sighed sadly.
"Master said that he's under a spell of sorts," Mira told Elizabeth as she sat next to her.
"But what kind of spell?" She asked as she turned back to Lucy's bed.
Mira could only shrug at Elizabeth's question, wanting to know the answer also.
~Lucy's mind~
Lucy, A gentle voice hummed.
Lucy looked around, confused as to where she was.
Lucy you must wake up. It continued, warmth enveloping the blonde.
It isn't your time yet. Your friends need you.
Lucy looked around in confusion.
I'll see you soon my little princess.
Lucy jumped up and was immediately blinded by bright lights. Wendy grabbed the blonde and forced her to lie down as she wasn't ready to sit up just yet.
"Nee-chan breath," Wendy said as the blonde slowly started to calm down as her vision cleared.
Lucy looked around in confusion as the people in the room crowded around her.
"Lucy!"
"Lucy-nee!"
"Lushee~!"
"Give her some space!" Erza finally demanded.
Everyone took a step away from the bed as Wendy handed Lucy a glass of water. Lucy drank from the glass before clearing her throat and smiling at everyone.
"I'm O.K girls! Really!" She said, causing them to tear up.
Elizabeth and Lisanna both crushed the poor blonde in a hug, tears streaming down both of their faces.
"Don't ever try to do that again! You almost died!" Lisanna shouted at Lucy.
Lucy laughed nervously as Elizabeth smacked her on the back of the head.
"Stop always being so selfless!" Elizabeth told Lucy as Lucy rubbed the back of her head.
"LLLLUUUUCCCCCEEEEEEEE!!!" a faint but loud voice shouted from outside the room.
The girls looked to the door only for it to burst open and a blur of pink rush in. Natsu jumped onto Lucy, embracing her in a hug while Erza tried to pry him off of her. Lucy gently patted his head before pushing him off her, a smile on her face.
"Lucy don't ever do that again! You scared us!" He exclaimed as he pulled away from her.
"Shush guys you'll wake Gray," Mira warned.
"Gray's here? Can I see him?!" Lucy asked as she tried to sit up again.
Wendy helped her up and adjusted the bed while Erza answered her question.
"Lucy Gray is here but he's not awake right now. Master informed us that Daphne has him under a spell," Erza told her.
Lucy frowned when Wendy pointed towards the bed Gray was chained to.
"Why is he chained to the bed?" She asked.
"Gray attacked us multiple times and has also tried to escape. That was the the only way we can keep him here and from attacking us," Carla said as she stood.
"Something's wrong with Popsicle but Gramps doesn't know how to fix it," Natsu said as he glanced at Gray.
Shush! You guys are going to wake him if you don't lower your voices!" Mira warned again when Gray shifted and the chains rattled.
Erza glanced at Lucy with worry before grabbing Natsu.
"You are the one who most likely to wake him therefore you must leave," she proclaimed as she marched to the door while dragging Natsu.
"Ahhh someone save me!!" He cried as he struggled to escape her grip.
"Shut up!" She told him as she hit him.
Natsu whimpered in pain as she continued dragging him out of the room, the girls watching on nervously. Erza threw Natsu out the door and closed it back.
"I don't see why you did that since I've been awake since that loudmouth screamed for help," a voice stated coldly.
Everyone turned to Gray, who had his arms crossed, in surprise.
"Sheesh," he grumbled, rubbing his head. "This is not a good time to get a headache."
The girls stared at him in silence until Lucy said something.
"Gray?"
He turned to her sharply only to freeze. Lucy was staring at him with her large chocolate colored eyes. He looked away from her but he immediately felt pain shoot through his head. Gray grabbed his head in pain as he fell back onto the bed.
"Go get Master," Erza told Happy as Wendy ran over to Gray.
Wendy's hands started glowing blue as she started trying to relive Gray of some of his pain. Gray shoved her away and the little sky dragonslayer crashed into Mira, who stood behind her. Just then, Happy came flying back into the room followed by Master Makarov. The old man looked around the chaos around the room with a sigh.
"It seems brats that you have found a way to start breaking the spell without me," he said, causong all eyes to snap towards him.

Sorry about the very crappy chapter today. This week has been very stressful with having to make sure all my summer work is done and getting everything ready for school, which starts Monday. Not to mention that I've been having headaches (I mainly get them from stress). Still I hope you enjoyed and I'll "see" you guys later! Bye!
