Roxanne:

You know this week we have a special day coming up so with this little series I have going let's celebrate that day with some stories. This is also one of the rare occasions that I do a school fiction as well, so please enjoy this short and sweet story.

Ash: 19

Roxanne: 19

Ash sat in the classroom thinking about his prank he pulled on the young teacher who had just started working a few days earlier, with a cheeky grin plastered over his face before hearing the door open, he looked up to see a woman with long brown hair wearing a blue dress and pink stockings, "Ash, I have heard about your pranking ways," the teacher said while placing her hands on her hips as the trainer laughed at her, "they also said you need someone to help you pass the year," she said with a smile.

"Oh really? So why does a cute teacher like you want to care?" Ash asked with a smirk as the teacher angrily walked up to the student.

"Because I will be your tutor," the woman said with a smile before placing a book in front of Ash, "before we get started, I should introduce myself," she stated while Ash picked up the book and looked at it for a moment, "my name is Roxanne," Introduced herself to the young man who threw the book on the ground, "you know Ash, do you really want to spend the rest of your life in school?" Roxanne asked the trainer while picking up the book and placing it back on the table for Ash to read.

Ash looked at the book and started to think for a moment, 'well if I start reading this book, maybe it will get her out of my hair,' Ash thought while he watched his tutor walking out of the room.

Ash picked up the book and started to read the first page, 'he is reading the book, good,' Roxanne thought while keeping an eye on her student.

After a few days Ash became more and more interested in the book while noticing Roxanne was sitting at the front desk reading a book of her own, "so Roxanne, can I ask you something?" Ash asked the teacher with a smile, "when did you decide to follow the path of becoming a teacher?" Ash asked the woman sitting at the front of the desk.

Roxanne placed her book on the front desk and walked over to a desk next to Ash, she pulled up a chair and sat next to the student, "it all started about four years ago, I was at a very high level for a person my age, I was passing senior school subjects at the age of fifteen," Roxanne described her past to Ash, he placed his book on the desk and started to listen to Roxanne's story.

"So you were a bookworm?" Ash asked the woman sitting next to him while laughing at her.

Roxanne looked over to Ash and nodded, "yes I am, I am proud of it too," Roxanne pointed out while sitting at the student's desk, "let me ask you something Ash," Roxanne told Ash while he looked at the book, "what is your goal in life?" Roxanne asked the man sitting next to her with a smile.

"My goal? Well I am hoping to become a trainer after I finished school," Ash confessed his ambitions to the tutor who listened with great intent, "to see where the road will take me, to see the sights of the world and to catch as many pokemon as possible," Ash revised his goal to the woman sitting next to him who was amazed at the young man's ambitions.

"You prefer to gain knowledge through experience, than to sit in some class room," Roxanne told Ash who nodded happily.

As the days passed Ash and Roxanne started to get closer to one another, sharing each other's stories while Roxanne was teaching Ash everything she knew, "so Ash, you have gotten better in all subjects, I am so proud of you," Roxanne told Ash with a smile while getting ready to walk out of the class, "well since my job here is done, I better get back to teaching other students as well," Roxanne stated much to the dismay of the man in the class.

Ash got out of his seat and ran towards the woman, "Roxanne wait, there is something I need to tell you," Ash told the woman with a nervous smile.

Roxanne stopped in the middle of the hallway after hearing Ash's voice, "what is it Ash?" Roxanne enquired while turning around to see the student approaching her.

"Thanks for helping me with my studies," Ash gratefully told the woman before she turned around to start walking back to her class.

"No problem Ash," Roxanne told Ash before walking away from the man, "oh you can keep that book as well," Roxanne told Ash before disappearing down the hallway.

Ash looked at the book happily, it was in a quick instant that a card dropped out of the book, Ash knelt down to pick up the card, he looked at it for a moment and in shock noticed that there was a number, "please call me?" Ash questioned while staring at the card, he looked up to see that Roxanne was gone from his view, "I have her number?" Ash questioned in amazement.

Meanwhile Roxanne was looking around the corner witnessing Ash placing the card in his pocket, "Ash, I can't wait for your response," Roxanne whispered to herself while turning around to place her back against the wall, 'because I am in love with you Ash,' Roxanne thought while closing her eyes to think about more of Ash's goals.
