EEEEPPPP!1 I am in one of the best moods EVAR!1 Last Saturday, on the 23, I saw one of my favorite bands ever in concert. ONEREPUBLIC!1 AAAHHHH!1 I was literally six rows away from the stage!1 Not only that, Ryan Tedder talked to me while he was on stage. This is 100% true, my friend could vouch for me cause she was the one to dare me to shout this out:
Me: I LOVE YOU RYAN!1 (Friend dared me too)
Ryan: (Looks over at my direction) I love you too!
Me: (Waves hand wildly in the air to make sure he knew it was me while shouting at the top of my lungs) WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Ryan: (Laughs, he literally laughs) Woah, it's getting serious in here now.
Crowd: (Laughs while I blush smiling madly)
I could've died happy right then and there. Not only that, I saw his trailer leave when my friend and I were waiting for my friend's mom to pick us up. I was waving wildly as they left, he and his band were looking out the window and saw me and they waved right back at me and my friend. I was in seventh heaven right there. For the past two days I have not stopped listening to their music! Sorry, I love OneRepublic SSSSSOOOOOOO MUCH!1
Disclaimer: I no own Ouran High School Host Club or Black Butler
Note: R.R.E!1
Double Note: School starts tomorrow for me, god dammit (but I ended summer with the concert which was awesome) so updates may not be once a week
The school was the same as ever. It was still large, still pink, still filled with students. When Ciel entered the grounds of the school, stepping past the tall looming gates that surrounded the vicinity, he couldn't help but glare suspiciously at anything he moved. Why? He didn't really have an idea. Really, Ciel just knew something was going to happen any minute now. And whatever it was, it was not going to have a positive impact.
Lips pulled down in a tight frown, Ciel walked along the yard, sticking to the path as he made his way up the stairs to enter the building. He wasn't even two steps into the air conditioned private school when a body lunged straight at him. A quick glance to the side warned him of the person, and his reflexes kicked in. Ciel jumped back as fast as he could, his book bag falling helplessly to the tiled floor. Whoever attacked him turned around, actually confusing Ciel.
Orange hair that stood out among the crowds at Ouran, yellow eyes with a speck of green, this was one of the Hitachiin twins. Which one? Ciel would have to wait to hear his voice to decide that. But what surprised the young demon the most was the fast that this twin wore a scowl, eyes glaring daggers at Ciel. His hands were clenched in fists by his side, knuckles turning white. Ciel could see the boy's muscles tense, his whole body shaking. The boy was seething in anger, and for once, Ciel didn't have a clue as to why.
The students at Ouran formed a giant circle around Ciel and this twin, giving them enough space to have a fight without injuring others. They, much like Ciel, all held confused and curious gazes. Why would one of the Hitachiin twins attack Ciel Phantomhive? Ciel knew they were all thinking that. It was quite obvious by the looks they received.
From the corner of Ciel's ocean blue eyes, the Host Club appeared at the edge of the circle. Tamaki, Kyoya, Mori, with Honey on his shoulders, and Haruhi. But there was one person missing from that group of friends. And that was the other half of the Hitachiin twins. And slowly, the pieces started to come together as Ciel pieced the puzzle.
It was all confirmed when this twin growled out, scaring those surrounding them, "Where is he?" It was Hikaru threatening Ciel, asking where his brother Kaoru was. His twin was missing, and Hikaru blamed Ciel.
"I have nothing to do with the disappearance of your twin," Ciel stated calmly, but Hikaru quickly scoffed at that.
The boy rolled his eyes, one foot stepping back slightly as if he was about to pounce on Ciel again. "You have something to do with it. That night, you threatened me, Kaoru, Tamaki and Haruhi to basically watch our backs. I told my mother not to worry because I knew exactly what happened to Kaoru."
Ciel shook his head, a smirk on his face. "Ah, that's why you are here instead of out searching for him. You believe I have something to do with the disappearance of your brother."
Hikaru's eyes grew wide with fury as he shouted at the top of his lungs, "Because it is your fault that he-"
"I have nothing to do with this," Ciel interrupted the boy, "In fact, this is the first I heard of this news."
Hikaru's whole body was shaking as he sputtered out something that Ciel could not understand. While Hikaru was basically talking to himself only, Ciel let his mind wander, wondering where the teachers were to break this up. Surely they should have been here by now the moment they heard shouting? Or were the adults worried that if they angered a student, their rich parents were going to attack them?
He was brought out of his thinking after hearing footsteps from the side. It was Mori. Honey stayed behind as his cousin walked over to Hikaru, gently placing a hand on Hikaru's shoulder. "Calm down," he ordered. Hikaru immediately stopped mumbling, his fingers loosening up as his attention turned to Mori. "Worrying like this won't help."
"Yes," a new voice agreed with the third year student. Ciel turned around and groaned in his head. The only person he could never hear walk. Sebastian. The demon disguised as a teacher pushed his way through the crowd. Or, more like the students parted like the red sea for Sebastian as he walked to the center of the circle. His hands were laced behind his back, his chin held up and he just put out this air of authority.
"Sensei Michaelis," one random student gasped as most of the crowd dispersed. Only a few brave souls stayed to watch what was to happen next, including the Host Club.
Ciel glared at his butler as he walked to stand in front of Hikaru, bending over slightly to whisper to the student. Luckily for Ciel, he heard the entire thing, "Calm down. The more you worry, the worse it gets. I suggest you inform your parents to come pick you up. Have them come pick you up right now. You should be at home relaxing right now, let the police handle this."
It worked. What Sebastian just said made Hikaru calm down. The boy nodded his head, a frown on his face and what looked like tears prickling at the corner of his eyes. He was trying to be strong, either for himself or for his brother. Mori from next to Hikaru nodded and returned to his place with the Host Club as Sebastian straightened his back.
"All of you go to your first class now. If you are in my first math class, I will send another teacher there to watch you," Sebastian commanded, and the rest of the students that stayed headed off, not needing to be told twice (excluding the Host Club). He looked at the other half of the twins, a small smile on his face as he suggested, "Hikaru, why don't you come with me and go call your parents."
The boy just nodded numbly, as if he didn't process what the older demon was saying. They were just about to head off, Sebastian placing a hand on Hikaru's shoulder to guide him, when one of the other Host Club members just had to speak up, "Hikaru." It was Haruhi. Said boy looked over his shoulder at Haruhi. She was about to say something else, but a small elbow to her arm from Kyoya silently ordered her not too.
She shut her mouth, instead opting to watch as Sebastian guided Hikaru away. Ciel picked up his bag from the ground, hand looping around the strap as he heard a small barely audible sniffle come from Hikaru.*
He was just about to head off when Tamaki stepped in front of him, arms placed on his hips as he gazed down at the boy. "Did you do this?" Tamaki asked. It wasn't an accusing tone; it was just a simple question.
"No."
"W- Why should we… why should we believe you?" Haruhi spoke up. Her eyes were glistening; she was ready to cry at any moment for the loss of her friend.
Honey nodded his head, a small glare decorating his face as he piped up, "Yeah! Tama-chan and Haru-chan told us what happened and how you threatened them." Mori didn't even try to calm his cousin down. He just stood there silently behind the smaller boy. His face displayed no emotion, but Ciel could just see a hint of worry for his friend.
Ciel didn't move from his spot. No matter what he said, the Host Club wouldn't believe him, unless he could get Kyoya to calm them down. "I didn't do it. Right Kyoya?" He turned his head slightly to gaze at the Shadow King. He made sure his face showed one of 'Don't try to cross me; you know what I can do'.
Kyoya held the eye contact as the remaining Host Club members all turned to look at the vice-president. Ciel stood there patiently. He knew Kyoya was going to set them straight. The boy was too scared to try and go against him. All Ciel had to do was just wait.
And after seconds, Kyoya finally decided to open his mouth, pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose, head tilting down slightly, "He's right. The disappearance of Kaoru Hitachiin is not Phantomhive's fault."
Tamaki stood there, mouth gaping as if he was a fish. Honey and Mori were surprised that Kyoya would defend Ciel, but Haruhi, she was angry at that fact. "He threatened that something was going to happen to us!" She raised her voice, pointing an accusing finger at Ciel, "And look, Kaoru just happened to disappear after this threat!"
She was breathing heavily, one of her hands in a tight fist. Ciel couldn't help but chuckle at Haruhi's change of attitude. Normally she was calm and rarely raised her voice out in public –the only time being when they were in the Host Club room without any of the guests there. Her glare turned to Ciel as the young demon continued to chuckle.
"This is not how I get revenge, Haruhi. My way is more sinister, darker. You would know when I took my revenge on you. So don't cross me." And with that, not even waiting for a response from the Host Club members, Ciel turned sharply on his heels, shoes squeaking on the ground as he headed right back outside, leaving the school. He didn't care about skipping, Sebastian wouldn't. After all, they had a case to solve, and the disappearance of Kaoru Hitachiin actually made Ciel angrier than usual.
Usually, Ciel was passive when a student was kidnapped. He was mad that it happened, but quite calm. But, since this happened to Kaoru, Ciel was angry. He would never admit it, but the Host Club members grew on him. No, they were not friends. More like… acquaintances. Barely even that. And now, Ciel really wanted more than ever to end this case now.
But, Ciel had to wait for Yasha to return with the whereabouts of the hideout. He needed Yasha to return soon. Very soon.
"Wow that was quite entertaining, wouldn't you agree?" Speak of the devil and he shall appear. Ciel continued to walk the very path he took to enter the school, this time though he was exiting the premises. He only looked to his side when Yasha caught up to Ciel from where he was leaning against the building to match the younger demon's pace.
"No," Ciel disagreed, not even glancing at Yasha.
The Rakshasa demon laughed though, loudly might Ciel add. "I wasn't talking to you."
A new voice joined in on the conversation, one that Ciel didn't hear in quite a while. "He was talking to me. And yes, that was definitely enjoyable, especially the part where my precious Sebby came out to take charge." It was Grell, in the flesh, walking on the other side of Ciel.
Oh great. Surrounded by two of the most annoying things in the whole universe. Yasha on his left, Grell on his right. "What are you two doing here?" Ciel hissed, trying to keep his blood from boiling.
"I came here to see Bassy of course," Grell immediately replied, clutching his hands together in front of his chest, red hearts to match his outfit practically developing in his eyes.
Yasha giggled. "That's not the only reason," Yasha sang happily, tilting his head back and forth with each word.
Grell nodded his head, pushing Ciel off to the side to hug the Rakshasa demon tightly, twirling him around. "That's right, this cutie called me to come here." Yasha just smiled and nodded his head enthusiastically, not even trying to tear the reaper off of his body.
"Why would you call this… thing… here?" Ciel asked, glaring at Grell who was rubbing his head up and down Yasha's arm.
"Oh that's easy. I figured it was better to have a reaper on our side to fight Li and Neccy," Yasha informed Ciel.
Ciel smirked. "Did you-?" But he didn't get to finish that question as Yasha broke him off.
"That's right. All we have to do is somehow get Mr. Butler out of that stuffy school because Neccy gave me the location of the hideout."
Ciel's smirk turned into a smile. For once, he didn't have any thoughts about having Sebastian kill Yasha or Grell. Oh no, for the first time ever, he was quite pleased (which is definitely saying something when it came to Yasha and Grell) that both of them were here at once. "Perfect."
* If you had a twin and he was kidnapped, you would so cry and be angry and not normal too
Sorry for the short chapter, but it was a good place to end. Also, I'm gonna respond to people down here, I don't wanna have my first AN to be too long.
Baileys1999: 'Bows' Why thank you. And yes, I will try to include Italy with Romano and/or Germany in here for you. 'Smirks' and is there a ship, I dunno, you decide. AceTheRed thought up a ship name though, Yasiel!
Always and Forevermore: It didn't cross his mind. He was enjoying the date so much that he forgot about what was to come, so he apologized before the those four gave up their positions
AceTheRed: Hmm, yeah, I might do that, POV through the Host Club. I'll get working on that 'smiles'. And you did call the ship! But will it be canon in the story? I dunno...
ChucklingDevil: Sowwy, I felt guilty about the date getting ruined at the end cause Ciel may or may not have been enjoying himself (he so was) and same with Yasha. Hope you like this chappie!1
So, where do you guys think the Hideout is? Tell me! Bye bye, Rainpath out!
