Disclaimer: Still own nothing
Bob and Fred, two random guards in Ebilon, went to Kuya's house as ordered by the princess. It was a high possibility that he was a traitor.
The two barged into the house, opening what looked like a door that had been previously broken.
"Kuya Yellow, stand up with your hands in the air!" Bob yelled, imitating a cop like he always wanted to be. He didn't know what a cop was, but he knew he wanted to be one.
"And… I really don't have anything to add to that, do I?" Fred asked seeing that Bob had taken all the lines. Kuya, seeing the people barged in, stopped using a magnifying glass on parts of Moa's body. He retracted his hand from off her legs. He blushed, hoping the guards wouldn't get the wrong idea, which they obviously did.
"Put your clothes on," Kuya ordered Moa, not wanting the situation to be any more awkward.
"But I, like, don't know how!" she pouted, trying to put her dress on her arm. "I can't do it like you can!"
Bob and Fred stood there very awkwardly, not expecting to have caught Kuya in a rather intimate moment with a female.
"Just a second…" he promised the guards, "Did you put your undergarments on properly?" he asked. He saw Moa's bra on her back and panties on her head. He awkwardly corrected the bra, feeling rather horrified that the guards were watching him. "These holes are for legs. You have to slide these up until you can't anymore!" Kuya tried to explain to her about the panties.
"I know that. What do you think I am? Like, stupid?" she asked. Kuya was silent.
"But if you knew how to properly put these on, then why did you always ask me to help you?" Kuya was confused.
"I liked your attention," she smiled honestly. Kuya blushed and swore under his breath. She reluctantly put the panties on herself.
"Arms up," he ordered, so he could put her white dress on. She put them up and he slid the dress onto her. "I know it looks weird, but there's a really good explanation for this…." Kuya tried to explain to the guards, slightly embarrassed. "You see, I was examining her body for science…." He tried to explain the truth. Obviously Bob and Fred didn't believe him.
"Your presence has been requested at the castle. You have been accused of giving Klastiam important technology that gave them the ability to invade us and bypass the fissure," Bob explained. He was always the more talkative one out of him and Fred. Kuya laughed.
"Ku, ku, ku…Very well; take me to the castle." He put his hands out so he could be bound with rope. They wouldn't be able to prove his involvement, and even if they did they still needed him so they couldn't hurt him. He glanced at Moa a quick second. Unlike the first Moa, she couldn't be used against him. She was the newer, more approved version. She could fly away if something bad happened, and after examining her he had found that her blood was crystal hard, making her have like an armor around her. "Moa, you stay here, all right. And if anything bad happens… jump, all right?" He knew she really only knew that the guards would imprison her if he said fly.
"Nope. You could say, I'm coming with you?" She smiled at him. "I'm not going to be alone in the basement again…."
"What?" Kuya asked. He had never taken her in the basement; that was first Moa entirely who lived there. She smiled up at him as if she had no idea what she said. She then wrapped her arms around his arm as to cling on to him.
"Um… miss, I don't believe you can come…" Fred tried to remind her.
"It's like, I'm going too. I'm going to be with Kuya forever and ever. Even after we both die," she vowed. Kuya decided not to shudder, after hearing the tone of voice she said die, as if she was planning something. Bob and Fred tried to pull her off of Kuya's arm, but they had no such luck.
"What should we do, Fred?" Bob asked. Fred was always better at making decisions.
"Bring her. One girl really couldn't get us to lose our jobs, right?" Fred decided. Bob nodded.
So the two led Kuya and Moa to the castle.
Rikiya stood by Summer's door, listening with his battle-ready hearing for anything. He wouldn't have heard anything if he didn't memorize Summer's breathing patterns. He heard the sound of a breath that wasn't hers in her room. Immediately, his Summer-is-in-danger sensors went off. He flung the door open to see Daiki holding a kunai knife above Summer. He charged forward and pushed him away and onto the ground.
"What are you doing, Daiki?" Rikiya asked in shock, holding both of the man's hands down.
"Rein?" Daiki asked, also shocked. He had been caught. He felt guilty and almost wanted to cry in his new friend's arms about his secrets; instead he tried to keep his composure. He couldn't let Rein see weakness. He had to carry out his mission and make Snow safe. "Klastiam hired me to kill Miss Summer…" he told him. Rikiya was silent.
"Don't do it. You're a nice guy, but if you try to hurt Summer, I will slit your throat with no regrets." He glared at him.
"I will, Rein/Rikiya. I have to, for my friends and for these two countries. You know, I'm not supposed to kill just Miss Summer and her family…. Ebilon hired me to kill Klastiam's royal too…" he admitted, and raised a knee up before Rikiya could respond and kneed him between the legs.
"OW!" he screamed, jumping up and waking Summer. She groggily rubbed her eyes to see Rein withdraw his bow and arrow and Daiki stand with kunai knives.
"I'm the one who kidnapped you, Miss Summer," Daiki told her, wanting to be honest.
She grabbed a sword from next to her bed. "So you're trying to kill me?" Summer asked. She groaned. "Why couldn't you have waited until after the war?"
"I have to save everyone from Snow's prophecy." He told her.
"Snow's prophecy?" Summer asked confused.
"She prophesized that these two kingdoms would destroy each other. Every single flower and child would die. My goal is to kill both royalties so there is no more war and the innocent won't die. Basically, I'll kill all the non-innocent to save the innocent," he explained, wanting Rikiya and Summer to know why they would have to die.
"I don't want to take that chance that your plan doesn't work out. If I die and it turns out everything you did was for nothing, then there would be no one left to protect the kingdom," she said. Daiki smiled.
"That's a very good reason for why I shouldn't kill you, but I have to: Snow's in danger right now. Her abilities of stealth are strong, but I don't want to risk losing her. For putting her in danger I must kill you. I apologize." He tried to be polite.
"Rein…."—Summer turned to her knight.—"Fight with me," she ordered.
"Of course I will," he promised. Daiki jumped away quickly and stealthily so they couldn't see him. He used a smoke-bomb to lessen their sense of sight. He then threw three kunai knives at both Summer and Rikiya's fatal spots.
"Duck!" Rikiya yelled to his princess, knowing the trick Daiki was using. He pushed her to the ground, being hit in the shoulder by one of them. He pulled it out of his skin and threw it back at Daiki, missing because he had no idea where he was.
"I'm sorry, Rein. I really considered you a friend," Daiki apologized, throwing a poison dart at Rein's leg. It hit him under the knee.
"We can still be friends, Daiki. If you stop right now, I won't kill you. You're a good person, I know it. Just protect the woman you love with your own two hands instead of taking it out on others. Be brave and face her!" Rikiya advised. For the short time he knew Daiki, he knew there was a sort of friendly spark between them. He knew Daiki was a good person deep down. He had helped Rikiya a lot. Rikiya stood up, keeping Summer behind him. Summer stayed, knowing she couldn't get hurt before the battle so it was a good idea to preserve her strength instead of fighting all out.
"W-woman I love?" Daiki stuttered, being struck. "But what if something happens and she dies because of something I could have stopped from happening?" he asked. "What if people die and it was easily preventable?" Rikiya snickered.
"You're the one who believes in God, right? Just like her? Death isn't the worst thing that can happen. Hurting something precious to you is something even worse. Summer is her friend and Snow would be hurt by her pain. I know I'm hurt by my friends' pain… like you or Karl, and mostly Summer due to my love for her. Things die, but that just causes other things to regrow in their place and be reborn anew," Rikiya explained. Daiki was silent and the smoke disappeared.
"You are right, my friend. Your words of wisdom have beaten me. Miss Summer, Sir Rein, may I have your permission in an attempt to pardon my crimes to protect Snow from being discovered?" Daiki requested.
"All only because we're in dire times. Usually I'd throw someone who almost killed me into the dungeon," Summer answered with a glare.
"My friend… please protect Snow's friend," Daiki requested.
"I will. I'd never let anything hurt Summer," said Rein.
Daiki leaned forward and whispered in Rein's ear. "Rikiya, my friend… tell her soon. Things might possibly be avoided with your love. Your love might save everyone," Daiki whispered. Rikiya nodded and was silent. Daiki smiled and left through the window to protect Snow.
Rein promised himself he'd tell Summer soon.
Note, Bob and Fred are my two favorite OCs of mine. They are literally just generic background bystanders. I love them.
