A/N-As promised some sneak peaks into the lives of the Locksleys, I'm still not on team Robin, but trying to get past that issue. Anyways I hope you enjoy it.
Faith Locksley was now three and a half months old, she was a very healthy baby who occasionally gave her parents fits during the nights when she would wake up screaming bloody murder.
"I swear she has your lungs," Robin said as he wiped the sleep from his eyes. He looked at the alarm clock, three in the morning, he had a huge meeting first thing this morning at nine.
"I beg to differ," Regina said, her voice still heavy with sleep. She was still so tired, she was going to be going back to work at least part time in another week or so. They had finally found a nanny to look after Faith, Regina had been quite obsessed in finding just the right one to watch over their daughter while they were both at work.
"Trust me, sweetheart, I've heard and caused you to scream really loud like that," Robin said as Regina took his pillow and threw it at him as he left their room in laughter. Robin made his way to the nursery quickly.
"Yes, your majesty, how may I be of service?" Robin asked as he walked into his daughter's room. He walked up to the crib and picked up his daughter.
"Hey now, we can't have that. You'll wake up the Queen of the household again, and trust me she can be one cranky Evil Queen, but I didn't say that," Robin whispered to Faith. He checked her diaper, checked to see if she was hungry but nothing seemed wrong. He then walked over to the glider and started to rock Faith.
"I take it you wanted to be held by your Daddy? Hmm?" Robin said as he looked down into Faith's perfect little face. She reminded him so much of Regina, her face was that of her mother's, the only thing he saw in Faith of himself was his blue eyes and his dimples. He hoped her eyes would stay blue, he knew from reading up on, that they could change at any time during the next two years.
"Now I want to tell you, that no matter how old you get you'll always be my little girl. Even on the day you get married, you'll always be my little girl. I hope you find a great love, a forever love like I was so lucky enough to find with your mother," Robin said as he could see his daughter listening to him intently, when she did something for the first time.
"A smile, you smiled at your Daddy!" Robin said, smiling down at her, her dimples showing proudly.
"This will remain our little secret, Faith," Robin said as he rocked her for a few more moments, singing to her softly.
Stay awake, don't rest your head
Don't lie down upon your bed
While the moon drifts in the skies
Stay awake, don't close your eyes
Though the world is fast asleep
Though your pillow's soft and deep
You're not sleepy as you seem
Stay awake, don't nod and dream
Stay awake, don't nod and dream
Robin looked at Faith, she was sound asleep now, he hummed to her as he rose from the glider and walked to her crib and very tenderly put her back in to it. He smiled as he looked at her sleeping.
"Good night, Faith," Robin said as he quietly walked out of the nursery and back to his bedroom. He saw that Regina was back asleep in their bed, he looked at her quickly, shaking his head at the way both of his ladies slept so peacefully. He pulled back the covers and gently slid back into bed, he moved so that he was to Regina's back and put his arms around her. He closed his eyes and started to go to sleep when he heard.
"She go back to sleep?" Regina asked.
"Sound asleep, she needed a Father's touch," Robin said.
"You do have a way with that," Regina said.
"Hey now, are you trying to say I put you to sleep easily?" Robin asked.
"Well, you are very good at relaxing me," Regina said.
"Likewise," Robin said with a chuckle as he kissed his wife's neck.
"I want to continue this tomorrow, just so you don't forget," Regina said.
"I wouldn't dream of it," Robin said as he kissed her cheek and they snuggled and Robin was almost asleep when he was hit by a pillow.
"Hey! What was that for?" Robin asked.
"That, was for calling me a Cranky, Evil Queen," Regina said as she continued to hit him with a pillow, he easily snatched it away from her and together they were laughing as they wrestled in bed. It ended with Regina sitting on Robin's lap, him pinned beneath her, she was holding his hands pressed down into the mattress.
"So it appears you have won, your majesty. Whatever shall you do with me?" Robin asked.
"Anything, anything I want," Regina said.
"Thought we were going to continue this tomorrow?" Robin asked.
"I changed my mind, I have a need for you," Regina said as she leaned down and kissed her husband. The kiss was at a high intensity at the very beginning, Robin removed his hands from her clasp and grabbed the hem of her short nightgown and started to remove it when there was a cry.
"Remind me to have a talk with my daughter," Robin said as he groaned.
"My turn," Regina said as she moved off the bed, off Robin in particular.
"Regina, don't take too long," Robin said as Regina turned around and smiled at him.
"I wouldn't dream of it," Regina said. "Be ready to be ridden when I return." She winked as she left the room.
